PI ELECTRONIQUE HANDY
El mando Pi Electronique, el más avanzado y completo del mercado, es compacto y sólido. Se carga mediante inducción electromagnética y su batería tiene 8 horas de autonomía real con el mando encendido.
Es EXCLUSIVAMENTE compatible con sistemas Pi Electronique (SPIN 8, SPIN 15 y PI HOME TOUCH). La pantalla es táctil a color, con teclas grandes y visibles.
La comunicación es mediante radiofrecuencia, trabajando en una  frecuencia inferior a la WI-FI convencional, sufriendo menos interferencias. Tiene gran alcance. La comunicación con el terminal es constante y recibe al instante y sin acción del usuario las modificaciones que se hagan.
El mando Pi Electronique funciona también en sentido contrario: desde el TPV se le pueden enviar mensajes al camrero!

ORDEMAN
El Mando Orderman funciona también con Radio Frecuencia y es compatible con CRYMOTACTIL, UP-3500 y UP-810 de SHARP. La pantalla es blanco y negro y tiene una plantilla para la introducción directa de departamentos, artículos o lo que se programe.
La batería tiene duración suficiente para una jornada normal de trabajao, y puede adquirirse un cargador rápido.
La funcionalidad varía según el software al que se conecte. Si bien no es tan intuitivo, es una alternativa viable al mando de Pi Electronique en instalaciones con TPV PC o registradoras SHARP. Con registradoras no se aconseja conectar más de dos mandos, y con el TPV hasta cuatro mandos.

SHARP UP-X200
El handy SHARP x-200 es compatible con CRYMOTACTIL y UP-X300. El sistema operativo es windows CE.NET, lo que en realidad la convierte en un pequeño ordenador muy estable. No necesita sincronizarse con el servidor. Incorpora una tarjeta de red symbol muy potente. La conexión es mediante wi-fi convencional.
Destaca un teclado numérico para facilitar el manejo y optimizar el uso de la pantalla en el sistema de la UP-X300.
Usa dos baterías que no necesitan estar instaladas a la vez, asi mientras se usa una, la otra se carga, y conseguimos una autonomía ilimitada. Con las dos baterías puede funcionar 8 horas ininterrumpidamente.
Cumple la normativa IPX2 de derrame de líquidos.

PDA SOMO
El PDA, o pocket PC, es la solución más económica al tratarse de una herramienta diseñada para ofimática y no para hostelería. A pesar de ello, el PDA SOMO es más resistente que la media del mercado, con carcasa de plástico más dura. Tiene la opción de usar una tapa para proteger la pantalla de posibles golpes. La comunicación es wi-fi y para la instalación de programas es necesario sincronizarlo con el PC.
Es compatible con CRYMOTACTIL y AGORA.  La duración de la batería es limitada, pero puede adquirirse una batería de mayor duración.
Es aconsejable cambiar la batería por una del doble de duración, y existe la opción de contratar una garantía ampliada.

Sin lugar a dudas estamos metidos de lleno en la era digital, y la hostelería no es ajena a los cambios tecnológicos, pero, ¿Por qué cambiar? ¿Qué beneficio nos da invertir tanto en TPVS y comanderos?
La avalancha de innovaciones en muchos casos ha desbordado la capacidad del hostelero de filtrar la calidad y la necesidad de lo que compra. Poner pantallas táctiles para trabajar más rápido no siempre da resultado por una simple razón: no todas las empresas instaladoras saben hacerlo bien. Tan real como que un comandero inalámbrico puede representar una inversión muy rentable, o un despilfarro si éste acaba tirado en un cajón. Asimismo, problemas de los que hasta ahora éramos ajenos: no llega la comanda a cocina, la señal wi-fi se cae, se duplican las ventas…
Ahora es el momento de hilar fino: de exigirle a esas nuevas tecnologías que se adapten a lo que necesitamos, que la inversión se vuelva rentable. Es hora de mirar si recibimos soporte, si la empresa instaladora responde en los momentos críticos (por alguna razón, y de eso sabe mucho Murphy, las cosas se rompen los festivos o fuera de horario comercial…), y sobre todo de analizar la FUNCIONALIDAD de los terminales.
Es verdad que con un buen sistema se pueden controlar mejor las ventas, agilizar el servicio, controlar las compras, conocer al instante la producción de un local a distancia, pero para ello son importantes QUE y QUIEN.
SHARP es una marca líder en calidad de cajas registradoras, y PI ELECTRONIQUE es el mejor sistema de ventas para hostelería del mercado. Si encima quienes lo instalan son profesionales que conocen a fondo el sector y dispuestos a darlo todo por la satisfacción del cliente, entonces encontramos un motivo para cambiar. Yes, we did….

En of we het gedaan hebben, wel al een tijdje terug, maar het was geweldig!!!!

We waren eigenlijk nog maar 2 weken in Spanje (januari 2004) en net toegekomen in Granada, toen we besloten weer naar de costa Blanca te rijden voor een duosprong parapente. En het was de rit meer dan waard. Goh, wat een ervaring. Kom je boven op een berg met al die ervaren vliegers en ik stond daar met knikkende knietjes mijn beurt af te wachten. Geert en ik hadden al besloten dat ik eerst zou gaan (ik kon niet nog langer wachten…). Een heel gedoe met je harnas en al die koordjes maar gelukkig werd alles voor me geregeld. En dan maar wachten op die ene windstoot…. “Jaaaaa” riep de instructeur…”LOPEN”. Als een gek begin je te lopen en voor je het beseft ben je in de lucht aan het lopen…weg is de grond…de diepte wordt steeds dieper en dieper en dieper en….

Daar zweef je dan, als een vogel in de lucht…vrijheid ten top! Lekker genieten!

De landing was in mijn geval iets minder zacht. Ik ging door mijn knieën en kreeg een instructeur boven op me. Het was wel lachen geblazen want met die ronde pothelm op mijn hoofd leek ik wel een verdwaald duits soldaatje dat boven het gras kwam piepen.

En dan was het de beurt aan Geert….jaaa, dat was kicken geblazen en een perfecte landing als afsluiter.

There are a number of cosy cities along the Costa Del Sol which are big enough to explore during an extended holiday (if you can drag yourself away from the beach) but also small enough to enjoy in a weekend.

The atmosphere around Malaga is relaxed and the city is a perfect size to wander around on foot, even on a hot day.  The squares in the inner city have lovely bars and coffee shops around the perimeter – like so much of continental Europe – and the newer part of the city is chock-a-block with designer boutiques and department stores.

One of the squares has a plaque marking the birthplace of Pablo Picasso at his former home; with great bathos, it is now next to an Irish bar.  I didn’t have time to visit the Picasso museum in the city but it is centrally-located and very popular.

The old part of the city is filled with gorgeous baroque architecture, and as with much of Catholic Spain a great deal of money has been spent on elaborate churches and cathedrals.

There are often levies to enter these buildings but, being both Catholic and a student, I rather objected to this so I affected to enter the Cathedral shortly before a service, had a wander about, then made a loud comment (in English, even though I speak some Spanish) about having left the cat out and the gas on and walked out.
