Nicholas Ryan, Sheep, Stars, and Ruminators, Olivia Baker, Cave Canem, Meet the Livestock Breeds, Marshfield Fair. August 25, 2011.

Fairgoers had a chance to learn about Icelandic sheep, goats, alpacas, and a variety of cows today as 4-Hers presented “Meet the (Livestock) Breeds. Organizer Liv Baker opened the event, welcoming the crowd, then 4-Hers stepped up to show off their animals and their knowledge. A number of 4-H clubs were represented in this, the first year of the event, including Farmtastic, Cows-N-Clover, and Sheep, Stars and Ruminators.

All the presenters did an excellent job of educating the crowd about their animals. We’re looking forward to next year!
