Plane crashes in the Kootenays; one dead

VANCOUVER — A plane crashed at the Crawford Bay Airport tonight in the Kootenays, killing the one passenger on board and injuring the pilot.

The privately registered Cessna 172 was departing the small strip at the airport, when it crashed near a golf course, according to Bill Yearwood with the Transportation Safety Board. 56 more words
