UFC 100, el primer evento de UFC que será presentado en Australia (21 de febrero), será el que presente el duelo entre Minotauro Nogueira vs Cain Velásquez, el cuál estaba originalmente programado para UFC 108, y tuvo que ser aplazado debido a una infección de Nogueira

Pero lo interesante además, es que, en medio de la ola de lesiones de UFC, Nogueira y Cain Ramirez Velasquez, son posiblemente los dos peleadores peso completo mejor rankeados sin lesión, por lo que si el campeón Brock Lesnar no da señales de poder pelear antes de 6 meses, es muy probable que a esta pelea sea le considere por el título interino de peso completo

El cartel completo de UFC 110 no está confirmado, pero hay 7 encuentros marcados como muy probables, de hecho el duelo Wanderlei vs Bisping debe ser dado como un hecho, la lista es la siguiente:

On le sait, les rappeurs frinçais ont des goûts en matière de cinéma. Par exemple ils vouent un culte à scarface en VF… En VF !
Bon Scarface ça reste un bon film à la base. donc l’idée leur est venue de faire pire. Toujours pire.
Telle est la devise du rap frinçais.
Ne pouvant cacher leur attrait pour jean Claude Van Damme et les petites asiats, la vraie référence improbable cinématographique du rap frinçais c’est…

Et ce grâce à une phrase toute bête qui marquera leurs esprits d’enfants à jamais.
Mais pour ça il faut résumer le film très vite.
JCVD incarne Kurt !
…Kurt… c’est déjà la loose et ça va être comme ça un peu tout le film.

Alors en gros, le mec est le frère d’un champion de box thai aux states, il est même pas champion lui même. Son reuf va en Thaïlande pour voir un peu si ils sont vraiment si fort que ça les chongs.
Autant dire que passé les premières scènes, on ne verra plus ce personnage qu’en fauteuil roulant.
Or Van Damme il aime pas trop avoir des handicapés dans sa mif (un peu douteux le message de ce film) alors il veut à son tour dérouiller le champion qui a niqué son frère. Tong Po.

(Tong Po c’est le croisement de Sagat dans Street Fighter et Karl Lagerfeld mais ça c’est déjà plus visible dans les nombreuses suites toutes géniales de cette série où il sera devenu bilingue pour mieux trafiquer de la drogue parce qu’un barbare avec deux mots de vocabulaire, même Thaïlandais, c’était pas assez marrant.)

Donc là Tong Po est encore un grand mongol en slip.
Et JCVD il peut pas le niquer comme ça.
Alors il va voir un vieux dans la montagne.
C’est ça qu’est bien en Asie du Sud Est, y a toujours des coins un peu reculés avec des vieux qui t’apprennent pleins de truc et après tu peux aller niquer le méchant.
des entraînements à base de faire la sieste sous un arbre en attendant que les noix de coco te tombent dessus, des trucs de ouf !

Et là, le ieuv, il a une nièce : Mai Li.
Et évidement y a une romance de fiottes qui naît entre JC et Mai Li
Et là ils sont tout mignon tout les deux parce qu’ils se cherchouillent, ils flirtouillent ensemble.
Bref le truc dégueulasse dont on a typiquement pas besoin dans un film de castagne.

Surtout que Tong Po c’est pas trop son truc l’amour platonique, il préfère plus tonique.
Alors il va voir Mai Li et il la viole vite fait, il a pas le temps pour ces conneries.
(D’ailleurs Mai Li aurait peut-être du lui dire “stop.”)

Et on en arrive à la scène finale fatidique, JCVD se bat contre Tong Po.
Tong Po le met par terre et dira cette phrase fatidique à JC “Tu te couches comme Mai Li.”

La phrase qui sera reprise par les rappeurs frinçais à travers les âges.
Tong Po rajoutera également “Mai Li bonne baise” mais ça les rappeurs l’ont moins reprise et c’est bien dommage.
Les X-Men, Bass Click, Nysay, Dry, Alain de l’Ombre (Green) et tant d’autres, ils feront références à cette phase mongole et quelque part ça prouve à quel point notre rap hexagonal est magnifique.
Seul Ol kainry qui n’a pas tout compris au film fera des punchlines sur Tong Po qui s’entraine sur le pilier.
Le mec il a retenu ça du film…
On sait pas pourquoi, on ne sait pas comment, on ne veut pas savoir.

JCVD comprend donc que sa pute a été dépucelée par un géant et il l’a mauvaise, alors il nique tout le monde.
Parce que bon, le mec lui rend un frère handicapé et une pute déjà utilisée et tout le monde sait à quel point il est dur de trouver une vierge de plus de 11ans en Thaïlande, demandez à Frédéric Mitterrand.
Il en a gros sur la patate contre Tong Po.
Et c’est la victoire du bien contre le jaune.

Luego de su decepcionante actuación en UFC 103 ante Junior Dos Santos, parecía que el legendario Mirko CroCop dejaba las MMA, según declaró a The Sun “Ya no siento el deseo (De competir)”

Empecé buscando lo seguro y no estaba preparado para tomar riesgos, obviamente, no puedo romper el bloqueo mental que siento en el octágono.

Pero parece que CroCop ha reconsiderado,  el diario croata Slobodna Dalmacija publica que CroCop seguirá en UFC, al menos para concluir las peleas que tiene en su contrato (aún le quedan dos peleas)

El récord MMA de CroCop aún es muy bueno, con una marca 25-7, la mayor parte han sido en rings (DREAM, PRIDE, K1, etc),  en UFC (El octágono), su marca es de  2-3

Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic, one of the most feared fighters over the last decade, has decided to end his career following his loss to Junior Dos Santos last Saturday at UFC 103. The most famous Croatian cop, has decided to retire immediately, stating another comeback is not an option. Nokaut.com was able to exclusively confirm the news earlier today.

Said Cro Cop; “I have no motivation left and it’s time to leave. Thank you all for supporting me.”

One of the most severly struck by the news, is Zvonimir Lucic, Mirko’s manager and most reliable cornerstone throughout Cro Cop’s numerous battles. Following his last conversation with Mirko, Mr. Lucic was instructed to release all Team Cro Cop members from their respective duties, officially ending an era spanning 15 years of blood, sweat and tears at Cro Cop’s headquarters.

Today is a sad day for all Cro Cop fans worldwide as one of the most beloved and inspiring icons in combat sports has decided to walk away from competition and hang up his gloves for good.

Mirko Crocop bestätigte in einem Video Interview auf dreamfighters.com die Teilnahme bei UFC 99 in Köln.
Somit haben wir eine weitere Legende mit am Start.
Er hofft persönlich auf einen Kampf gegen Randy Couture…dieser wird aber aller Wahrscheinlichkeit nach nicht zustande kommen, da Couture einem Kampf gegen Minotauro Nogueira bei UFC 101 schon zustimmte.

This week, a one hour show documenting the training, and background of MMA fighter Fedor Emelianenko aired on FSN. The show was titled “Fedor: Baddest Man On The Planet”, but I really have to question that title at this point. Yes, Fedor is 29-1 with his only loss coming by a cut in a promotion that stopped the fight if you were cut, regardless of the severity of that cut. Yes, he’s fought a who’s who of fighters over his career. But, lets take a look at the last three and half years of that career. He has fought three legitimate opponents in that time frame, which that number is even up to debate. The three I include as legitimate are CroCop in August of 2005, Matt Lindland (who normally fights at 185 lbs), and Big Doofy (aka Tim Sylvia). A lot of people don’t even deem Tim Sylvia a legitimate opponent for the “Pound for Pound” best fighter in the world. As a matter of fact, Sylvia had a 1-2 record on his last three fights going into the Fedor fight, the one win coming against an undersized, and recently under performing, Brandon Vera. So, that takes it down to two legit opponents, but as I already mentioned, Lindland fights at 185lbs, so he was considerably undersized against Fedor, but in actuality, did pretty well against him before Fedor grabbed the ropes long enough to get top position on Lindland, and eventually submitting him.

Fedor has consistently taken six months off between fights, and fought lower caliber fighters since that August 2005 fight with CroCrop. He also keeps sustaining mysterious hand injuries in his fights. Then we have to consider that, outside of Quinton Jackson, most of the former PRIDE fighters that have made their way to the UFC have been less than impressive. Jackson, is the exception to that rule, I believe, because he is a far better fighter now than he ever was in PRIDE. This calls into question the actual ability of many of Fedor’s previous opponents, further diminishing his record.

Fedor’s fight Saturday, with Andrei Arlovski will go a long way in restoring some of his mystic, if he can pick up the victory. However, Arlovski himself was cut from the UFC. I personally think that there are at least three fighters in the UFC that could beat Fedor, if not more. I even think that Matt Lindland would have done better in the Octagon than he did in their fight, which took place in a ring.

Fedor is a bad man, and he has a strong record to back that, but in this writer’s opinion, his most recent fights have not served to further the mystic that he is the “baddest man on the planet.” Also, the recent record of many of his previous opponents in PRIDE serves to dull some of the luster of those victories. In order to regain some of that mystic, Fedor needs to either fight Josh Barnett, or drop his managers and sign the exclusive contract to fight in the UFC (and win) … that is, if he gets past the Pitbull Saturday. A loss Saturday would clearly support the claims of this article, and firmly remove the “baddest man on the planet” title from Fedor’s shoulders.

 Ca în fiecare an, lupta acerbă pentru audienţă dintre televiziunile nipone atinge apogeul în ziua de 31 decembrie, când mai toate familiile stau acasă şi se uită la televizor. Şi, tot ca în fiecare an, K-1 şi organizaţia de MMA parteneră (până în 2007 Pride, acum DREAM) aruncă în lupta pentru audienţă cei mai buni sportivi.

 Aşa că azi, la Saitama Super-Arena, vor avea loc câteva super- meciuri : Badr Hari vs Alistair Oveereem  şi Musashi vs Gegard Mousasi (lupte de K-1), şi, respectiv, Semmy Schilt vs Mighty Mo, Melvin Manhoef vs Mark Hunt,  Mirko “CroCop” Filipovic vs Hong Man-Choi şi Errol Zimmerman vs Minowaman (lupte de MMA după regulile din DREAM). 

 Evident, programele de la noi vor fi azi mult prea ocupate cu manelişti, pentru ca un asemenea eveniment să-şi găsească locul în grila vreuneia dintre televiziunile mari. Trist e însă că sport.ro, care are marele merit de a fi transmis anul aceasta în direct Finala K-1, nu a făcut efortul financiar necesar pentru a prelua live evenimentul de la Saitama Super-Arena. Şi mai trist e că nici măcar în reluare nu vom avea şansa de a vedea prea curand aceste super-meciuri: promo-urile sport.ro ne ameninţă pentru primele zile ale lui 2009 cu ceva înregistrări după stupizeniile americăneşti din campionatele de catch, wrestling şamd.

 Ca de obicei la noi, artele marţiale nu-şi mai au locul în grilă imediat ce costul transmisiei devine semnificativ. Şi asta în pofida faptului că interesul existent în România pentru acest fenomen este enorm.  Doar că, evident, pe termen scurt e mai rentabil să umpli ecranul cu Guţă, Vijelie şi Salam, decât să le satisfaci japonezilor pretenţiile financiare. De gândirea pe termen lung, super-managerii de la noi n-au prea auzit.
