<p>3 Türk kardeşin sahibi oldu Crytek&#8217;in yaptığı Crysis, Crysis Warhead&#8217;i oynadık çok beğendik. Crysis 2&#8242;yi beklemeye başladık. Tam bu bekleme zamanında işte Cry Engine 3&#8242;ün tamamlandığı haberi geldi. Videolar patlatıldı, aşmış ekran görüntülerini görüp donduk kaldık, film mi oyun mu ayıramadık. <content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>Έχω πει πολλές φορές ότι η <a class="zem_slink" title="CryEngine 2" rel="homepage" href="http://www.crytek.com/">CryEngine 2</a> είναι από τις καλύτερες μηχανές γραφικών που έχουν βγει τα τελευταία χρόνια.</p>
<p>Αρκετοί βιάστηκαν να κατακρίνουν συγκεκριμένους τομείς της, που δεν έχουν καμία σχέση με την δύναμη της μηχανής, όπως το art design του <a class="zem_slink" title="Crysis" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crysis">Crysis</a>. Έχει ο καιρός γυρίσματα όμως…</p>
<p>Νομίζω ότι δεν χρειάζεται να κάνω ιδιαίτερη αναφορά στο <a class="zem_slink" title="Monkey Island (series)" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monkey_Island_%28series%29">Monkey Island</a>, καθώς οι περισσότεροι το γνωρίζετε. <description><![CDATA[More Monkey Island for you. This time an enterprising pirate named Loneclone has recreated a small s]]></description>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-185" title="pirate-2" src="http://retrogameretrospective.wordpress.com/files/2009/09/pirate-21.jpg" alt="pirate-2" width="600" height="150" />More Monkey Island for you. This time an enterprising pirate named Loneclone has recreated a small section of Monkey Island 2 using the awesomely good looking Cryengine 2, which as any gamer will tell you powers Crysis the game that made 1,000 graphics cards cry.</p>
<p>What Loneclone has done is taken the original 2D artwork and &#8220;projected&#8221; it into the sandbox editor, so from a certain angle it looks like the original only in super beautiful 3D. The illusion is kinda broken when viewed from elsewhere, but as a concept it&#8217;s brilliant. Sadly this has been done for fun only so will never see the light of day as a proper release. But it brought a smile to my face this evening, so I had to share.</p>

&#160;&#160;&#160;A conclusão que o Tehdaza chegou é que a Cryengine 3 nos consoles é equivalente a Cryengine 2 do PC quando no Medium Settings (nível de detalhes gráficos configurados para mediano).<br />
<br />
&#160;&#160;&#160;Se você acompanha esta evolução tecnológica, é interessante assistir, visto que os argumentos apresentados no vídeo são bem sólidos, apesar de amadores.<br />
<br />
&#160;&#160;&#160;Óbvio, a plataforma PC já é superior desde que os consoles nasceram em 2005/2006. Basta o hardware correto (e muito dinheiro) e seu PC é a próxima geração.<br />
<br />
&#160;&#160;&#160;Mas com certeza a Cryengine 3 será um avanço para a tecnologia da atual geração de consoles. Esperem algo surpreendente para Crysis 2, em produção.</p>

<p>Epic <a href="http://www.bit-tech.net/news/gaming/2009/05/26/epic-photorealistic-games-in-five-years/1">claims</a> that we&#8217;ll have full photorealism in 10 years. Crytek is supposed to have approached photorealism with their <a href="http://www.pcgameshardware.com/aid,680745/Cryengine-2-Approaching-photorealism-with-perfect-time-of-day-simulation-Update/News/">Cryengine 2</a>. But what&#8217;s the point? We&#8217;re going to run into a wall &#8211; the day we actually reach photorealism. What will we have then? A game that looks gorgeous but doesn&#8217;t play as well as it could have.</p>
<p>Where else could improvements be made? AI, phyiscs, load times, animations, and pathfinding are things that I can think of right now off the top of my head. And on top of that, what about frustrating game gimmicks like doors that don&#8217;t do anything at all or arbitrary limitations that make no sense (Altair not being able to swim, for example&#8230; don&#8217;t you think that a highly trained assassin would have to at least be able to stay afloat in water?).</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t have a problem with gorgeous graphics. But why does it have to be the same drab look for every game?</p>

<p>What about games like Okami or Shadow of the Colossus or Legend of Zelda? I loved playing games that looked different like that.</p>
<p>More than that the parts of games I appreciated most were when things behaved like they <em>should</em>. When it comes to photorealistic games, a door that can&#8217;t be broken down with a rocket launcher or grass and shrubs that don&#8217;t give to your movements or walls that don&#8217;t do anything when shot just ruin any sense of immersion. Even in a clearly fantasy (wait a minute and you&#8217;ll see what I mean) game like Halo where regardless of any &#8220;realism&#8221; there is many fantasy elements (Plasma weaponry, and hey you can&#8217;t forget the needler) exist and behave like you&#8217;d think they should. I remember a moment where one of my friends and I were playing a deathmatch game and we tossed plasma grenades at each other&#8230; and my friend died in a suicide. We watched the video of that moment and it turns out the grenade I threw stuck his grenade and they both landed on him with his grenade attaching to him&#8230; thus leading to a suicide. In context of the game, this <em>made sense</em> and it was AMAZING! Moments happening naturally like that are so rare these days.</p>
<p>Reaching for photorealism is nice but if the industry loses sight of other aspects of games that make them fun in an attempt to one-up each other the gamers are the ones that lose out. We&#8217;ll get gorgeous games that will look like real life but play like N64 or PS games. While we&#8217;ve made great leaps in graphics over the past few generations but things like pathfinding are pretty much the same. There are gems each generation that shine brilliantly yet get overlooked under the viciously blinding assault of increasing bloom effects.</p>
<p>In the future I want games that learn from the past. Far Cry has an open world that I like &#8211; no random enemy spawning (at least, that I&#8217;m aware of). Nintendo console games (especially the Metroid series) have great ways to hide loading times that don&#8217;t become obnoxious (like in Mass Effect). There are just&#8230; so many things that have already been accomplished! Why must we backstep in other areas to reach so hard for something that&#8217;s inevitably a dead end road anyway?</p>
<p>Think about it. Once we hit photorealism, what&#8217;s next for graphics? What&#8217;s more realistic than what we see in real life?</p>

<p>Still can&#8217;t play your Crysis on Full settings? Or even medium settings? Well, you&#8217;re about to be blown away because Crytec has announced their new game engine already.</p>
<p>So this new engine, successor to the CryENGINE 2 is going to be called CryENGINE 3 (how creative!). It is claimed to be readily compatible for current generation hardware (such as the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360), but it is also capable of use on the next generation, using &#8220;scalable computation and graphics for all major upcoming platforms&#8221;.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m personally excited, CryENGINE 2 leaves me speechless, it&#8217;s graphics are almost photo realistic. CryENGINE 3 will probably be even more amazing, though it will take a monster of a computer to play it, or even a workstation -_-&#8217;.</p>

Teniendo juegos de terror como Doom 3 hasta aquellos donde controlas un cyborg militar extremadamente bueno en combate como en halo, hemos recorrido un mundo de FPS. Todos y cada uno de ellos nos brindan la experiencia de ponernos en los ojos de un tipo que tiene la actitud de agarrar una pistola eh ir contra los &#8220;badies&#8221; del mundo, pero a veces esto se vuelve aburrido y no sale de la monotonia. Pero crysis nos trae una nueva manera de jugar FPS.</p>

<p>Crysis nos da un nuevo tipo de FPS en el cual el ambiente puede interactuar con nosotros. De seguro se han de estar preguntando que se puede hacer. Veran en cualquier FPS uno tiene que asumir el papel del heroe o villano que solo le interesa volar cabezas. Entonces cuando disparas a una pared o un coche parece que tu pistola con calibre para atrevesar un tanque no sirve para nada. Pero en crysis eso cambia, tu tienes la capacidad de usar el ambiente a tu favor. Un ejemplo claro en crysis es la posibilidad de tirar un arbol a disparos y hacer que este aplaste a tus enemigos. Todo esto se puede ver al principio en un video de intro, donde vemos a nuestro héroe, aplastando enemigos, volando hummers, disparando a llantas y usando a enemigos como escudo humanos.</p>

<p style="text-align:left;">Todo el escenario es interactivo dando una nueva sensacion de jugar como nunca antes se habia visto. El juego es impresionantemente atractivo al ojo, por todas sus graficas. Incluso recibio en el 2007 premios gracias a sus graficas impresionantes.</p>

<p style="text-align:left;">Ahora si hablamos de la manera de juego, empezemos hablando del héroe principal. Tu tomas el rol de NOMAD (nomada) el cual es un agente especial de los Estados Unidos. Eres parte de un equipo especial de asalto el cual estan equipados con trajes llamados NANOSUITS. Los nansuits que valen miles de millones de dolares permiten a quien lo use, usar diferentes habilidades como es la super fuerza, super velocidad, maxima armadura e invisibilidad. Tu tienes la ventaja de usar todo esto a tu favor para asi acabar en una isla koreana, tratando de investigar diferentes sucesos que pasan. Al parecer los koreanos estan investigando una gran fuente de poder.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;">Los koreanos son un grupo dificil de vencer, aunque ellos no tienen tus fabolusos nanosuits, ellos cuentan con entrenamiento militar, bodyarmors y suficiente armas como para hacer un infierno cualquier lugar que esten. Entonces en el juego tu ves como los koreanos se enfrentan a ti y sobre todo entre mas sea el nivel de dificultad, mayor es el reto. Esto es porque los koreanos en el nivel mas dificil hablan koreano y el juego no te avisa cosas importante como cuando lanzan granadas o se acerca un tanque.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;">Para todo esto tienes que usar tu nanosuit y sacarle todo el jugo posible. Pero lo que mas diferencia este FPS de los otros es que con todas las armas que tienes y el ambiente a tu favor, puedes jugar como todo un rambo epico o jugar como un agente en cubierto y realizar tus misiones siendo invisible. Entonces el mundo de crysis te permite jugar como tu quieres.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;">En verdad les digo que este juego lo recomiendo. Se encuentra entre mis juegos que se deberian jugar y ha sacado muy buenas criticas.</p>

<p align="justify">Hace un par de dìas, Crytek anunció que no haría más parches para Crysis, y hoy, la pñagian oficial de Crysis ha sido actualizada con una imágen anunciando Crysis Warhead, que se espera sea la siguiente entrega del disparador en primera persona futurístico de Crytek. Pero no se dieron a conocer más detalles, tales como fecha de salida o plataformas.</p>
<p align="justify"><!--more-->Crysis fue anunciado como el primer capítulo de una trilogía, y Crytek se dio la libertad de registrar varios nombres como Crysis Wars, Crysis Annihilation, World in Crysis y Crysis Warhead, lo cual podría inficar varios spin-offs además de la trilogía ya anunciada.</p>
<p align="justify">&#8220;Juegos similares [a Crysis] venderían de 4 a 5 veces más,&#8221; comentó Cevat Yerli, presidente de Crytek, cuando anunció que su compañía dejaría de hacer juegos exclusivos para PC. &#8220;Creo que no habrán más títulos exclusivos como lo fue Crysis.</p>

<p align="justify">&#8220;Tendremos que  adecuar el motor gráfico para cada plataforma&#8221;, añadió Harald &#8220;porque más que simplemente una diferencia entre el Procesador y las capacidades del video de Hardware entre una PC y una consola, muchas cosas entran en juego. Por ejemplo hay menor tamaño en memoria con la que debemos trabajar, la falta del disco duro en algunos modelos [de 360], etc, que tendrán un efecto en cómo nos acercaremos a cada versión del motor.&#8221;</p>
<p align="justify">&#8220;Además, lo sorprendente es lo bien que las consolas pueden disponer de los elementos visuales una vez que se ha adecuado el motor para cada una. Esperamos que el resultado final sea muy similar a lo que se vería en las configuraciones &#8220;alta&#8221; o muy cercano al &#8220;Muy altas&#8221; en una PC. De hecho hemos encontrado mucho más demandante el manejar las limitantes de memoria en las consolas para convertir el sistema de Inteligencia Artificial, así como cuando lo hicimos con el motor de renderos o el sistema de físicas.&#8221;</p>

The <a href="http://mmostrategyguides.com/crysis_-_the_new_ea_fps_with_the_cryengine_2_engine.html" title="CryENGINE 2">CryENGINE 2</a> engine that runs the game looks amazing and can run on pretty mediocre systems. 32 player games are promised as well giving it some great online multi player. You can operate a wide variety of vehicles as well.</p>
<p>Crysis is top on my list of the next generation games that will have a huge impact on their respective genre. Check it out it comes out Nov. 16, 2007.</p>
