I will not take you through my tortuous path of trying to conceive a baby. Suffice to say that I am a 38 year old woman and for the past three years I have tried every treatment I could afford. Oh well… I have not tried anything as invasive as IVF but, then again, I cannot afford it! Six months ago I thought I should use more of my crystals in order to achieve my aim. So, I buried the house and my office under tons of rose quartz, while I hang a beautiful moonstone necklace around my neck. I took the necklace off only when I went to bed or entered the shower. Maybe I should have kept it on, though, because I am still not pregnant. But I have not yet explained my true source of frustration. During the same time our kitty gave birth to quintuplets, the canary produced several baby canaries and my neighbor and close friend conceived twins. Coincidence?

One of my favorite and best selling bracelets (pictured below) was inspired by Italian jewelry designer Roberto Coin. The featured bracelet is from Swiss jewelry designer De Grisogono. I am now 128 days clean from methamphetamine. I am feeling so tired and depressed lately and the only thing I can blame it on is my former meth use. This is extremely frustrating and confusing, because the addict in me wonders if I started using again if my issues would be solved.

Would I be able to actually accomplish something beyond the minimal in a day? Of course.

Would I get my sex drive back? I don’t know.

Would I sleep through the night? Probably not.

Would I feel depressed? I would definitely feel guilty.

I’m really lost and have nobody to talk to about this. I’m not going to go to my physician, I live in a small town and…I just can’t do that. Wish I knew where to turn….

Many naysayers are predicting a slow ski season simply because of global warming and increasing fuel costs.

The 2006-2007 British ski market saw a three per cent increase despite challenging snow conditions and fuel prices. Three per cent may not sound like a large number, but the numbers are astounding. The 2005-2006 ski season saw approximately 921,000 Brits take a ski holiday. The total of skiers rose in the 2006-2007 season to 1.19 million.

Let’s face it; we, as human beings, love to pamper ourselves from time to time with a holiday. Die-hard skiers are not going to let the possibility of poor snowfall or fuel prices stand in their way of a ski holiday. They know their favourite resorts will have things taken care of. On the other hand, people who have been dreaming of a ski holiday for years aren’t going to let poor conditions stop them either. People, in general, will do what they want, no matter what the conditions.

The bigger ski resorts have invested in several snow cannons over the years. Several of these snow cannons are working overtime until nature catches up. They have also build reservoirs to aid in snow production during slow-snowfall months.

The 2007/8 European ski season looks set to be one of the best yet!

Last weekend I went to my daughter Natasha’s Ganesh Retreat in Gloucestershire, I knew that it was going to be amazing as everyone who had done the previous one had raved about how it had changed their lives and how unbelievable it was but i was not prepared for how outstanding it was.

I am someone who likes fast exercise and doing things constantly, but equally i know that what i needed more than anything was to learn how to stop ……. I knew that it would be a massive challenge for anyone especially Natasha to get me to do this!  But she and her team, consisting of an incredible healer,  a shiatsu masseur,  a yoga teacher  and organic nutritionist chef completely moved me and changed my whole outlook.  I felt extraordinary by sunday night. Having loved all of the treatments, I left feeling completely exhilarated fresh, rested and so full of energy.

I have managed to stick to everything they taught me and have even managed to meditate every morning even though i have only managed 5 minutes.  But as they taught us 5 minutes is better than nothing and it is a great way to start the morning.

I shall, for sure be going back again.  It was a TREAT from start to finish I LOVED IT ……………..
