MIAMI, Fla. — Miami police officers have surrounded a downtown building after receiving a tip that suspected mass killer Paul Merhige was spotted. The police perimeter is set up outside 1717 N. Bayshore Drive. One of Merhige’s alleged victims, his sister Lisa Knight, lived in a condominium inside the building. A SWAT team is on scene. Merhige is suspected of shooting and killing his twin sisters, an aunt and a 6-year old neice on Thanksgiving night.The Grand Condominium has been locked down as police search the high rise floor by floor. Residents are being told to stay inside their units and not to answer the door in anyone knocks.”

CSI Miami-

One of the best deaths (can I say that without sounding macabre?) I’ve seen on a CSI. Death by venomous Jelly fish. Its bad enough that the poor man is dangling from the third floor of a glassed atria, but to fall to his death into a tank of deadly jellyfish… you offically cannot complain about anything today. The new CSI (the dark-dimpled one) tried to lend a hand…literally, by sticking his arm into the tank (smart? heroic? brave? I think none of the above…) and get stung – tried to cure the wound with balsamic vinegar (whateer happened to peeing on a jellyfish sting?).

At any rate, the episode focused on the bourgeoise vs pauper relationship in America and how some companies actually take out life insurance policies on their own employees without them knowing— making money off of any employee death (capitalism is an ugly thing America…) I actually have read that as recently as 10 years ago, Walmart practiced this money-making scheme on its employees…which explains why they hire 100 year olds to be the ‘front-line’ of their business…shameful. Michael Moore exposed this in his recent film Capitalism: A Love Story…making big businesses  blush across America!

Moving on, this was one of the better CSI:Miami’s I’ve seen in a while, lots of red-herring style deduction, lots of witty commentary…and in interesting hook. Did you watch last night? Did you have nightmares about falling three floors and unfortunatley landing in a pool of death? If given the choice, I’d rather just hit the floor…

Leafs vs Islanders-

Result: Leafs 3 vs Islanders 4 (OT)

The Good:

• Kessel scores again, and had close to 10 shots on the night…not surprising seeing—
• …Leafs take an astonishing 61 shots on Roloson….not since 1976 has this been seen from the Leafs…61 shots… (reminds me of playing against New Jersey in the playoffs eons ago when we had no defense and CuJo was in net doing everything but scoring)
• Hagman scores a very pretty goal to tie things up at 3 in the third giving us a chance at winning
• Gustavsson comes in and stands tall to also give us a chance at winning.
• Roloson…had the game of his career (we bring the best out of goalies…how nice of us.)
• Matt Moulson’s pre-game interview was adorable, AND he scores in his dream-venue as a North York boy.

The Bad:

• Leafs go down by 3…and it shocks no one, we are totally used it at this point.
• Toskala bails…no word on why.
• Islanders score 3 quick goals…and sit back to watch the rest of the game. (thank you…)
• In 61 shots…only 3 went in, and Leafs only manage 1 point out of the effort.

Next try: vs Lightning, Wed. 7pm TSN

It is Tuesday. The World Series ended last Wednesday, so that means that last night was the start of the first week of November sweeps that does not include the aberrant behavior caused by the Fall Classic. What could have happened? Did the ratings get turned upside down? Did Jay Leno draw 50 million viewers?

Well, I’m guessing you already know the answer if you’ve read this blog at all, but I will tell you that if you want a full rundown go here, but if you want me to continue to ramble on, you should read past the jump.

This is the face of the most watched show on Monday night...Really?

Now, since I haven’t bothered to explain the concept of ratings sweeps months before, I figured I should offer you some information. Sweeps is the month when the ratings determine how much money the networks will charge advertisers for the rest of the season. There are two big sweeps months, November and February, and these are usually the months that shows reserve for their gimmicks that seem like they will draw the most viewers. Stunt-casting, threesome storylines(yes, I am giving a shout out to Gossip Girl here), and major plot developments almost always occur during these months. Now, on to the actual ratings.

The most watched show on Monday, as it has been for many nights in the past few years, was Dancing With The Stars(17.3 million viewers/18 million, 11.0 rating/11.3). The show was able to handily run away from the competition and, when coupled with ABC’s other show of the night, Castle(10.7 million, 6.9), which finished second in its timeslot, was able to deliver a big win for ABC, averaging 15.3 million viewers and a 9.7 rating. While I don’t understand the appeal of DWTS, I don’t think that anybody can deny that it is a ratings juggernaut that is not going away anytime soon. In fact, I would be shocked if that isn’t the biggest number of the week when it all plays out.

One of the shows that was able to make a valiant effort of dethroning DWTS first hour was the second place finisher in that timeslot, House(12.8 million, 7.4). While that is almost 5 million viewers behind DWTS monster number, but the impressive thing is that, with a 5.1 rating, House was the most watched show among the precious 18-49 year old demo. This is a vital win for FOX as that demographic appeals to the advertisers that are going to be looking at the sweeps data more than any other, so winning in adults 18-49 is as important as total viewers this month. When coupled with Lie To Me(7.5 million, 4.4), House was able to lead FOX to a slim win in the demo averaging a 4.0 rating for the night.

On the note of Lie To Me, losing 5.3 million viewers from your lead-in is not the way to get renewed for another season. Just saying.

Why in the world is this number 2 in total viewers Monday?

Anybody who has read many of these posts can tell you that I have a bias against most 30 minute sitcoms. The quality of your average 30 minute show is about the same level of humor that you can get in a frat room after about 40 beers. However, there is one good sitcom that I have steadfastly stood by on CBS on Monday nights. That show is How I Met Your Mother(9 million, 5.5). However, even with an Alan Thicke cameo, HIMYM was unable to break past the dynamic duo of House and DWTS to be one of the top two shows in the 8E/7C hour.

No, instead, the highest rated sitcom on television, most weeks, and the 2nd highest rated show on television last night, was the abysmal Two and a Half Men(14.1 million, 8.7). Why, in the name of all that is holy, do people watch this show? Why?!?

Another thing of note on CBS is that they began the 3 show crossover that is being billed as the CSI: Trilogy. Basically it amounts to a world-class actor, Laurence Fishburne, appearing on all three shows in the CSI franchise in one week. Last night it started on CSI:Miami and one its timeslot with 13.8 million viewers and an 8.9 rating. This will draw big numbers all week, I predict.

Why does he still have a job?

Finally, NBC actually is still bothering to put TV on the airwaves. As usual, the three lowest rated shows on the big four were, in descending order, Trauma(5.4 million, 3.5), Heroes(5.3 million, 3.4), and, reaching one of his lowest numbers yet, The Jay Leno Show(4 million, 2.6). At this point, Jeff Zucker is going to start costing this network millions of dollars in ad revenue due to the nature of sweeps. If the schedule isn’t reworked in a drastic way in the next month or so, this network will not have a non-sports related ratings win on any night of the entire season. This is my prediction, take it for what you will.

It’s hard not to think about people recovering from mistakes these days. Mickey Rourke is back, thanks to The Wrestler. David Caruso came back with CSI: Miami (although, in truth, he was always working – we just didn’t see everything he did). The November issue of Men’s Health has a cover story about Jason Bateman, who has an adult career thanks to Arrested Development. Consider John Travolta’s career before Quentin Tarantino plucked him out of obscurity for Pulp Fiction. Hey, I can go back further than that – Kurt Russell was a Disney child actor until director John Carpenter cast him as Elvis in a TV movie. That led to them teaming up for The Thing and Big Trouble in Little China. Let’s not forget the 86-year drought of the Boston Red Sox!

Don’t get me wrong. I’m sure that work continues to be a struggle for these people. I’m sure that producers and directors (the actors’ equivalent of hiring managers) have misgivings or second thoughts every time one of these men goes for a part. The thing is, we all make mistakes and we can all learn something from people who’ve recovered.

• Learn. If you need to speak with a professional, do it, but learn from the events in your life. Really dig. Ask people to be honest with you about your mistake.
• Apologize. Don’t say “I’m sorry.” Nobody cares that you feel sorry about your mistake. On the other hand, when you say “I apologize,” you’re taking responsibility and ownership. That helps people take the first step to forgiving you.
• Grow. If some part of your life or your psychology is self-destructive, deal with it and overcome it.
• Endure. Never give up. Keep trying. Stick with it. You will succeed.
• Love. Positive energy is catching. It’s engaging and addictive. You’ve got to find a way to put the baggage of your mistake aside and move forward with joy in your heart.
• Deliver. You’re only going to get so many second chances. Make the most of each one. Bring your A-game.

so last week I was on Half term and as normal I did nothing.

When I say nothing i mean nothing important or college related.

I did however watch quite a few DVD Box sets, I borrowed Stargate Atlantis season 5 and CSI:MIAMI season 6 Pt II from the library and I bought season 2 of Battlestar Galactica.

I finished watching these Sunday (01/11/2009) night.

On Saturday (31/10/2009) was Halloween and as usual Dad did a pumpkin but he tried something a bit different this year as he only took a little bit off of the surface and did not go all the way through and used LEDs to light it. I like it and it came out well.

I am Enjoying Sanctuary season 2 and SGU season 1 and each seem to be getting better and better.

I am saving my money up for the Stargate SG1 season 1-10 box set at the moment as this will mean that i have every episode and it will take up less room than having each volume will.

i am behind on the reviews, i still need to post 2 for SGU and 3/4 for Sanctuary but they should be up during the week.

That appears to be everything but as always stalk me on twitter where there are more regular updates.

Wow, I am slow in updating today. Sorry about that. I have been writing midterm essays for damn near 24 hours at this point. So, without much further ado, I will give you the details of the night that was.

You know the routine by now(or I guess you could be a new reader, and if that is the case, let me say hello), but if you want the whole rundown, check here, otherwise make the jump and see what I have to say.As I said, I’ve been writing midterm essays for 24 hours, so you’ll have to forgive the fact that I don’t have the energy, nor the inclination, to search out pictures to make this post more fun. Nor will I be very witty or long winded. So, yeah, if you are a new reader, I basically just warned you that this post is going to suck. Sorry about that.

Shockingly, ABC was the big winner last night in total viewers, though CBS did win the precious 18-49 demo.

ABC, led by the inexplicably popular Dancing With The Stars(16.1/16.8 million viewers, 10.4/10.9 ratings), was able to average 14.3 million viewers and a 9.3 rating for the night. They missed making a full sweep of the night when Castle(10 million, 6.7 rating) was beat out by CBS’s darling, CSI:Miami(12.9 million, 8.3), otherwise known as the only show in the CSI franchise I refuse to watch.

CBS was able to hold on to second place in total viewers(11.5 million, 7.2) mostly based on the performance of the aforementioned CSI:Miami and the disgusting fact that Two and a Half Men still pulls in monster numbers for a sitcom(13.3 million, 8.2). How that show, and not How I Met Your Mother(8.6 million, 5.4), is the highest rated half hour comedy on television will never make sense to me.

As for the rest, House(12.9 million, 7.5) is the only real noteworthy show on FOX, finishing second in the 8E/7C timeslot.

NBC continued the disturbing trend of having their highest rated show on the night, Heroes(5.6 million, 3.5), score a lower rating than the other big 4’s lowest rated show, Lie To Me(7.8 million, 4.6).

And, as usual, Jay Leno(4.9 million, 3.2) brought up the tail end of the pack. Glad to know that even when I’m late in posting due to hectic schedules, Jay won’t disappoint me.

Aniston, Jennifer — The former Friends actress is currently addressing rumors that she may be pregnant. Her press officials were disheartened to hear the news, especially since they’ve spent so much time in their shallow, money-driven lives promoting the notion that Jennifer Aniston is a lonely, adorably single person who nobody famous wants to date, and who is destined to die alone without the comfort of human companionship in her life. This really screws things up for them.

Cody, Diablo – The Oscar-winning screenwriter of Juno and Jennifer’s Body has signed on to adapt the book series Sweet Valley High into a feature film. I’ll let you choose your joke here: a.) This will be the second time Sweet Valley High has been penned by a talentless hack, or b.) Cody felt a special kinship to Sweet Valley character Jessica Wakefield, who also only got a movie deal because of the novelty that she was a stripper, won a major award, and then continued to pump out unimaginative cool-teen-vernacular crapfests.

Cowell, Simon — The American Idol figurehead is in talks with FOX to bring his United Kingdom hit The X Factor to American television audiences. Sssssh. Hey everyone, I’ve got a great idea for a great joke. Don’t anybody tell FOX that American Idol is, actually, the same thing as Britain’s X Factor. This’ll be a hoot. They’ll be so surprised! I can’t wait to see the look on their faces when they find out they’ve paid for the same show twice.

Manson, Marilyn — The oh-so-shocking singer has been accused of a.) having the swine flu, and b.) knowing that fact when he apparently “blew snot” all over an Ottowa, Canada audience. This came as no shock to purchasers of Manson’s last two albums, who felt metaphorically that they’d already been exposed to plenty of Manson snot over the course of his last two albums.

Miami, CSI – CBS is scrambling to re-design cop procedural CSI: Miami’s promotional collateral after it’s been discovered that one of the included images is, in fact, an image of Tampa, Florida. Despite this misstep, CBS would like to assure viewers that the notion of a forensic scientist who has shootouts with bad guys and serial killers in clubs and on boat docks, however, is completely realistic. They’d also like to re-iterate that  David Caruso behaving like a cooler-than-you douchebag is also true to life.

Michaels, Bret — Billboard is reporting that Brett Michaels’ autobiography Roses and Thorns: The Rock n’ Roll Fantasy to My Reality has been pushed back by publisher Simon & Schuster until 2010. Apparently, the lag is due to the massive amount of time proofreaders will require to correct the numerous misspellings of the word “gonorreah.”

Phillips, Mackenzie — Whether you believe her stories of ten-year incest with her father or not, one thing’s for certain: folks ain’t gonna be clamoring for the new Mackenzie Phillips and dad collaboration album. Word-of-mouth on an album hasn’t been this bad since we learned the Captain had been forcing Tennille to vouch for his “bad shoulder” to collect workers’ comp insurance. Shame on you, Captain.

Last Monday, Ashley told us what was happening during SPS and what she would be watching. I’m pretty clueless about when shows happen (trust me, I don’t know how to find channels on my TV because I just leave it all up to the DVR) so I thought I’d copy/paste the Ausiello Cheat Sheet for tonight’s premieres. In alphabetical order except for the first and best one.

How I Met Your Mother, 8 p.m. (CBS)

This is definitely the number one premiere I’m looking forward to this year. Because I’m an idiot I ignored this show up through last February when I discovered it and then managed to catch up on all four seasons in just a few weeks. This is hands down my favorite comedy right now because of the group chemistry. I love these people in a way I haven’t loved an ensemble cast since <i>Friends</i>. If you’re not watching yet, just start tonight. Catch up not necessary. (But you’ll have lots of fun to watch later.)

OMg! I can’t wait to go see I can do bad all by myself. THis is another hit movie out in theatres officially one week ago as of yesterday(friday 19th). I know it’s gonna be good because it’s made by writer, actor, director, playwright, producer, Tyler Perry (called T.P. 4 short). It’s starring Mary J Blidge, Gladys Knight, Tarajji P. Henson, Adam Rodriguesz, Pastor Marvin Winans, and T.P. himself as MADea. duck and cover cuz u know that’s one grandma bout 2 guns.                                                                                                                                          Who is T.P.? He’s just the one of the best blackest rags-to-riches story ever. The american dream. He was raised n New Orelans,LO wit an abusive childhood. (it seems alot of 2day’s stars were, intersting. I’d rather not talk about my childhood because things do get better. THank-Jesus!) He’d been bouncing 4rm job to job when one day he as watching oprah on tv and she encouraged him to write letters about his past to deal with the unresolved issues. THat’s what he did. Exceptthey end up as  aplay called I KNow I been changed! except, his play didn’t sell. he took his llife savings and promoted his play. n 2nd time around it sold. he got it n d Fox Thetre. ever since then been on the roll.  wit hit plays like i cand do bad all by myself, diary of a mad blackwoman, madea family reunion, madea class reunion, madea goes to jail,  meet the browns, why did i get married then he scored a sony deal and started turning all his plays into movies, as well as starring in them, along wit 3 original movies, Daddy’s Lil Girls, What’s DOne n Da Dark.  n The Fam. 1 mo thang, plz lemme kno if u kno TP, and if  u do…Why do YOU love him, too????

Let me sing a little ditty for you. It’s called “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” but it’s not about Christmas and instead of Andy Williams singing about gay happy meetings or whatever, it’s totally just me screaming “I LOVE TV!!” all the time for about three and a half minutes. Ever since I was in the seventh grade — when I started reading the TV Guide cover to cover, including listings — Season Premiere Season (SPS) has been my second favorite time of the year, but only because there are no Christmas cookies. Basically what I’m trying to tell you is that it’s like Christmas right now with all the happy and the glee (pun) because ALL MY SHOWS ARE COMING BACK!

The following five posts (check back every day for a new one) have everything EVERYTHING you will need to know in order to have the most awesome SPS possible. I watch a lot A LOT of TV so I figure that it’s only fair that I share my wealth of knowledge and TV Info finding skillz with the rest of you. Also, I am slightly OCD and anal retentive, so making this list/guide/thing is basically the mental equivalent of a really good vacation for a normal person. I have issues.

Here’s what you need to know. Within each day is four categories: 1) Shows you should be watching in order of their time-slots (which includes my favorite shows and pilots I know I will love), 2) Pilots that I am trying out to see if I like ‘em, 3) Shows you might be watching that I don’t watch, and 4) Shows you should stay away from. I have provided network and time-slot information, including the premiere dates, for each show. On the last day, at the bottom of the post I will also include a list of shows already in progress and a list of upcoming shows — most of which are mid-season replacements coming some time in 2010 — and other Fall TV related links that you might find useful. House
FOX, 8/7 Central

Despite my iffy feelings about last season’s finale (involving House hallucinating Cuddy sex because something is wrong in his brainpan), I am really looking forward to this season of House.  House is a show that takes creative risks all the time — and while it doesn’t always succeed — it’s always trying to push past its procedural nature. I have to admire that, as frustrating as it can be sometimes. And honestly, the show is so enjoyable due to the presence of the irrepressible Hugh Laurie that it’s easier to let things slide. On the other hand, that enjoyment is one of the reasons that last season’s finale made me so mad. I just felt cheated. I’ve had some time to sit with it, though, and I’ve decided that I’m okay with the storyline as long as they don’t take the easy way out.  House as a character — grouchy, super-smart, and pessimistic – is the premise of the show, and if he changes, the show is gone. With that said, however, I think it’s time for a change. There is no way that a person could realistically live through all the things House has been through and not have it affect them, one way or another. Something’s gotta give, and the opening arc with House in a mental hospital is the perfect time for it.  So: House writers, I’m looking at you. Don’t eff it up. (Premieres 9/21/09)

How I Met Your Mother
CBS, 8/7 Central

This is quite simply one of the most enjoyable shows on television right now. I’m not a huge fan of sitcoms with laugh tracks, but How I Met Your Mother manages to overcome that distaste.  The characters are lovable, the stories are goofy, hilarious, and original, and it has Neil Patrick Harris in it. This season promises some great Barney/Robin tension and the distinct possibility that we might actually learn something about The Mother. And I really think it’s time. Five seasons of a show called How I Met Your Mother and no Mother to be found? Get on it, Mosby! (Premieres 9/21/09)

Gossip Girl
CW, 9/8 Central

This show exhausts me, but I can’t stop watching it. Last season ended with a bunch of things and people coming together and a bunch falling apart. The rich and glamorous Upper East Siders have graduated high school — except for Little J — and moved on to college. As the show has always been solidly built into the social structures and hierarchies of a fancy prep school, Gossip Girl is now facing that age-old TV condundrum: the transition period. Buffy did it, Gilmore Girls did it. It was rough, but they pulled through. Both of those were shows rooted in something else, so I find myself wondering just exactly what Gossip Girl can be rooted in this season. Is it realistic at all for Gossip Girl to follow these kids to college? Is anyone in college even going to care about Serena/Dan/Blair/Chuck? With that said, there are some storylines I’m really looking forward to. Michelle Trachtenberg’s Georgina as Blair’s roommate, for one. And mysterious lovechild of Rufus and Lily being the other. The Big Bang Theory
CBS, 9:30/8:30 Central

Thanks to my friend Krystal, I had an unplanned two day marathon of Big Bang Theory’s first season a couple days ago. I loved it; I watched it so fast I can’t even really remember what happened. This show is the epitome of Geekdom. It is the Holy Grail of Geektopia. It is so much fun. I have yet to watch the second season, but it comes out on DVD pretty soon so I don’t imagine I’ll have much trouble catching up. My only quibble with the show is that — due to some probably fanfic-related mishaps — I was under the impression that the main relationship of the show would be  Penny (the beautiful girl next door) and Sheldon (the hopelessly antisocial theoretical physicist and genius), and not Penny and Leonard (Sheldon’s more normal roommate, played by Roseanne’s Johnny Galecki) which is the actual case. As a result of this mishap, I spent the first half of the show waiting for Penny/Sheldon clues, only to realize that I was in for a sore disappointment. I’m still getting over it. Regardless, this show is worth your time. (Premieres 9/21/09)

Castle
ABC, 10/9 Central

Last season I tuned in to this show for one reason and one reason only: Mr. Nathan Fillion, my future husband and father of my children. I was pleasantly surprised. While the main draw of Castle is still Mr. Fillion, silly and goofy and good looking and arrogant show stealer that he is — he’s not the only thing the show has going for it. I was a bit iffy on the casting of Stana Katic at first, but she’s grown on me and as time goes by I imagine her chemistry with Fillion will only intensify. It’s a good fun hour of television that doesn’t take itself too seriously, and at it’s best, has the potential to bring you nothing but joy. It reminds me — not so coincidentally — of first season Bones (and we all know how awesome that turned out.) So: jump on the bandwagon now! (Premieres 9/21/09)

Pilot Watch:

• Accidentally on Purpose — All of the critics say that this show is dumb and that it is going to fail, which of course makes me want to watch it. (CBS, 8:30/7:30 Central)

İçine mi doğdu nedir ? Düşünceli sağolsun. Yüz yüze bitirmek lazım.Kriterlerimiz var. Da, bu kadar dramatikleştirmek zorunda mıyız durumu? Drama Queen.Horatio,Horatio’lastıkça seksapelini yitiriyor. Neyse konu seksapeli değil. Orada soru işareti yok zira adam seksi. Nokta. Seksapel birliktelikle kaybolan birşeymiş bunu öğrendim sevgili henüz olmayan okurlarım.

• Ben ilişkileri devamlı kısa olan bir uzun ilişki insanıyım. Sadakttır aşktır bunlar iyi hoş şeyler. Ama kabullenmek gereken bir şey var: bir ilişkinin en güzel aşaması baslangıcıdır. Horatio da oldukça iyi başladı. Ama artık hayatı ertelemekten sıkıldığı ve 70lik votkanın yarısını bitirdiği için, azıcık(!) hızlı basladı.Başladığı hızı ikiye katlayarak da söndü. Yazacak kızın dikkatine:

Horatio da iyidir de iyiliğinden çok zordur. Çok karmaşık olduğundan değil, kendine bakmayı bilmediğinden. Bu cümleden bir sürü anlam çıkarılabilir,aklıma gelenler dışında yoksa, hepsi doğru.

Ama dediğim gibi, o da iyidir,düşüncelidir (genellikle gerekmediğinde) ve çok acıdır ki dengesizdir. Ama benim açımdan en büyük sorun kulaklarını tıkayıp bağıra bağıra,ne dediğini pek de bilmeden kendini anlatmasıdır. Kendini çok iyi bildiğini sanıp, hiç bilmediği beni anlatmaya kalkmasıdır. Ve ne kadar mantıklı olursa olsun, karşısındakini kesinlikle dinlememesidir. Hala da dinlemiyor ya,artık ben de kafamı dinliyorum.

Former Third Watch tv actor Eddie Cibrian has been signed onto the eighth season of CSI:Miami starting in the fall. I wonder what Horatio thinks about those rumours of Eddie romping around town with LeAnn Rimes?

So in browsing MSN at work today – for all intensive purposes lets consider that work -  I stumbled upon an article on “Automorphosis” and it included this picture. And cue hard core Jim Carey flashback to the Shaggin’ Wagon from Dumb and Dumber. At this point I must mention the Glorious Pussy Wagonfrom Kill Bill. This movie seriously kicks ass, and if you haven’t viewed it in a while I highly recommend a night in with Uma and the gang. And make sure to take a second and mourn David Carradine. His mysterious hanging in Bangkok June 3 still has authorities puzzled, and COD is still TBD. Really? I think its time David Caruso and his crack CSI: Miami team get in on the case.

I must admit that my favorite thing about Kill Bill is the music that plays ever time Uma is about to go on a rage spree. I had this conversation with a friend of mine earlier in the week, and I think that I’d want my theme song to be the Felix Da Housecat’s remix of Nina Simone’s classic Sinnerman. If you haven’t heard this particular remix, you need to,  IMMEDIATELY. This reminds me of this kooky idea I have been cooking up for years. Those who know me know of my strange fascination with midgets. I have been enamored with soundtracks my whole life. I love movies and tv shows often times not for the content, bu for the way in which the music enhances any moment be it dramatic, scary, romantic. So my idea is that I want a midget. One small enough to fit in a backpack on my back. And his sole purpose is to type everything I say, and that he carries some form of boombox/ipod speakers from which blare the soundtrack to my life. Call me crazy but if I could commandeer anything from Grey’s Anatomy it would not be Derrick Shepherd, it would be their music producer Alexandra Patsavas.

Now an easier way to do this would just be to take this entertaining quiz. All you have to do is turn on your pod, and fill in the blanks for yourself. But in my personal opinion the midget stenographer seems like a much more rock and roll approach, but what do I know?

it has been some time since i posted a blog entery so i may be a little rusty but i will give it a go none the less.

i am a twitterer and i was before it became the next big thing by about a year, and i have started something on there with the help of “The Night Before”  on kerrang Radio, it is a # tag and it is, #howarewe, and the way that it works is, you add the tag to the tweet and give a score out of 10 and include a reason for the score.

e.g.

#howarewe 5/10, so bored i may have to kidnap a cat.

DVD Collection

over the last couple of mounths my colection of DVDs has increased quite a lot, i have moe got all of CSI and i have started on House. 

it should be noted that i have nearly runout of shelving space for the DVDs.

Jordan Belfi is set to guest star on CBS’s, CSI:Miami. Jordan will be playing Neil Palmer, a single bachelor looking for love on a reality show.  When one of the contestants turns up the dead, the investigation leads them to Palmer. Did he kill one his contestants or is being set up?

well college has been going well i have now compleated another 3 units and i will be going on a BBC Studio tour at the end of the month.

Easter

i have been in the easter holiday for about a week now and i have been bored as can be expected but i have taken up watching CSI, CSI:MIAMI and CSI:NY.
