Buat yg pernah bikin takikomi gohan ini cara masakny mirip banget. Nasi hainan enak bgt kalau dimakan hangat-hangat apalagi nasinya yang gurih bercampur dengan rasa jahe yang diiris tipis. Waaahh mantap deh. Daripada ngomongin rasanya mending langsung dicoba aja :p

Bahan-bahan:
- Beras untuk porsi 2orang
- 5-6 siung bawang putih
- 4-5 cm jahe
- 100gr ayam
- Jamur secukupnya
- Sawi yang sudah dipotong-potong sesuai selera
- garam, merica, raja rasa/ kecap ikan atau sejenisnya
- blok royco atau sejenisnya

Langkah-langkah :
step:
1. cincang halus bawang putih dan jahe.
2. tumis 3/4 cincangan bawang putih dan jahe sampai harum. masukkan beras yang sudah d cuci, tumis sampai tercampur rata. Masukkan ke dalam rice cooker.
3. tumis sisa cincangan bawang putih dan jahe sampai harum, masukkan ayam dan tumis sampai meresap. (ga usa terlalu matang gpp)
4. tata tumisan ayam dan bawang di atas beras dalam rice cooker.
5. taruh jamur diatas ayam lalu tambahkan air secukupnya seperti mau memasak nasi biasa.
6. tambah garam, merica, dan raja rasa / kecap ikan secukupnya. (aku masukin kecap raja rasanya sekitar 1 sdm)
7. tabur 1 blok royco yg sudah dihancurkan. (lauk harus tetap ada diatas nasi, jgn diaduk)
8. nyalain ricecookernya
9. kalau kira2 air di rice cooker mulai mendidih masukin sayurnya lalu tunggu sampai matang

Music – Holy Ghost! – Hold On

The Great GoogaMooga Fest took place this week end in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, NYC. It was a really great spot to host this event. The festival is described as an amusement park of food and drink. There was indeed loads of vendors, amongst them, some famous NYC restaurants were represented from Roberta’s, DBGB, to Mile End Delicatessen and many more. There was also a huge presence of brewers and winemakers all over. The festival had 3 stages for bands and food conferences and other workshops (with leaders of the food and drink industry) took place in stands built up for this purpose (Urbarn, Restaurant 101, Boathouse…) . It was crowded of people but the atmosphere was really good and the sun was shining.  I did enjoy eating my spicy thai hotdog from DBGB in listening to Holy Ghost! and The Roots.

The Great GoogaMooga Fest a pris place à Prospect Park, Brooklyn, NYC. Le lieu était parfait pour accueillir cet évènement. Le festival est décrit comme un parc d’attraction de nourriture et de boissons. De nombreux distributeurs étaient en effet présents comptant parmis eux de nombreux restaurateurs et enseignes connus sur NYC (Roberta’s, DBGB, Mile End Delicatessen et beaucoup d’autres). Il y avait aussi une grande présence de distributeurs de bière et de vin. Le festival comptait 3 scenes musicales et des stands ont été monté pour accueillir des conférences tenues par de nombreux leaders de l’industrie culinaire/agro-alimentaire et viticole (Urbarn, Restaurant 101, Boathouse…).  Il y avait une foule impressionante de monde mais l’atmosphere était bonne et le soleil brillait. J’ai beaucoup apprécié mon hotdog thai épicé de chez DBGB en écoutant Holy Ghost! and The Roots.

Où manger un plat typiquement vietnamien?

Les Hanoiens et tous les Vietnamiens raffolent de la soupe Phô. Un délicieux bouillon parfumé aux épices, des nouilles de riz, des herbes et au choix du bœuf ou du poulet. C’est le plat le plus simple que l’on mange à toutes les heures de la journée. On peut aller en manger dans la rue Ly Quoc Su, dans la vieille ville ou chez Pho Thin Bo Ho dans la rue Lo Duc.

Où dormir une nuit?

Hanoi est une ville qui s’est beaucoup agrandie et développée en très peu d’années. Si on veut découvrir la ville en marchant, on élit domicile dans le quartier des 36 Guildes, dans une des ruelles de la vieille ville. On choisit l’hôtel Essence, rue Ta Hien. Véritable city hotel au confort et au service impeccable, il mélange une inspiration asiatique à un esprit urbain et contemporain. L’Essence Hotel est situé au centre des quartiers traditionnels de Hanoi, tout près des échoppes et boutiques alentours, à quelques pas du lac.

Où faire sa gym?

Autour du lac Hoan Kiem, à l’aube, dès 5-6 heures du matin, comme tous les habitants de Hanoi qui sont des lève-tôt. Adeptes du tai chi ou d’une gym plus tonique en musique, ils vous aideront à prendre le rythme!

Où aller se recueillir?

Dans le fabuleux Temple de la Littérature, appelé également « Van Mieu ». Ce temple dédié au confucianisme est aussi la première université du Vietnam, datant du 11e siècle. C’est un havre de paix, construit de façon traditionnelle avec une enfilade de cours et de bassins, un jardin de bonzais géants et une pagode rouge pour prier ses ancêtres, déposer des offrandes et en appeler à la chance.

Où boire un bon thé au jasmin?

On en boit du soir au matin à Hanoi, chaud, froid ou tiède. C’est la boisson quotidienne des Vietnamiens. J’ai dégusté le mien au Moca Café, dans le quartier de la cathédrale et la rue Nha To.

Hanoi est même devenu un spot fashion. En bonus voici une petite sélection de looks du photographe de Style Anywhere, Onin, qui sillonne les grandes capitales du Sud-Est asiatique de Singapour à Hanoi, tel un Sartorialist asiatique.

Where to eat a typically Vietnamese dish?
The Hanoian and all the Vietnamese people are crazy about Pho soup. A delicious broth flavored with spices, rice noodles, herbs and choice of beef or chicken. It’s a very simple dish eaten at all hours of the day. You can go eat one soup in the Ly Quoc Su Street in the Old Town or at Pho Thin Bo Ho on Lo Duc street.

Where to sleep?
Hanoi is a city that has grown bigger in a very few years. If you want to discover the city by walking, I would recommand to take up residence in the 36 Guilds neighborhood, in one of the alleys of the old city. They will give you an option, do you want a fresh crab which you can choose from a small aquarium or the one which already on the back kitchen (I think this one is not so fresh already). If you choose the fresh one you can choose it by yourself and you will be charged based on the gender of the crab and the weight. If I’m not mistaken I think it’s around Rp 16.000-18.000/ounce. We ordered a “Kepiting saus padang” (Crab with padang sauce) from the one which already prepared on the back kitchen, the waiter ask if we want it hot or mild, we said we want it hot. We also ordered a stir fried water spinach or in Indonesia we called it “tumis kangkung”. We ask for 2 portion of rice and I ordered an ice tea for the drink. The drink served faster than I though and it was rather shocking, such ordinary ice tea was placed on a rather fabulous glass, LOL.

The crab was delicious, they serve the crab with the crab crushed so you don’t have to worried about how to open the crab. The padang sauce is also great with the rice but be careful, it was really “Hot”. I don’t know why, it’s not so hot in my tongue but I can still felt the hotness of the sauce in my hand even after I wash it -I wonder if my palm skin is rather thin- :p Here are the pictures :

This restaurant is not so far, the food is delicious and the price is not expensive. If you want to eat good affordable crab in Kuta you can come here. Here are the list of the food and price I ordered. I will also give some photo which I take from the menu :
