Making TeXworks use tikz package

I need to create a document (I am using TeXworks) that requires the following packages/libraries:

\documentclass{article}
\usepackage{babel}
\usepackage{inputenc}
\usepackage{fontenc}
\usepackage{lmodern}
\usepackage{amsmath, amssymb}
\usepackage{tikz}
\usetikzlibrary{arrows,automata,babel}

I can compile it using TeXworks under Windows but whenever I try to do it under Debian Wheezy I get this error message: 135 more words

Makefile error: /bin/sh: 1: /dir Permission denied

When running make I have the following compilation error:

/bin/sh: 1: /installed/CoinAll/include/coin: Permission denied

This is the Makefile:

#
P=farmer
#

EXE=$(P)
OBJS=main-farmer.o model-farmer.o param-farmer.o pm.h
