<p>More great news from the country I live in, Romania, Dacia has revealed their road-going crossover : the Duster. After <a href="http://theblogofcars.wordpress.com/2009/11/21/great-news-dacia-is-set-to-race-duster/">announcing that they will race it in the Trophee Andros</a> with ace racing driver <a href="http://theblogofcars.wordpress.com/2009/11/29/video-alain-prost-drives-the-duster-ice-racer/" target="_self">Alain Prost at the wheel</a>, Dacia has now officially revealed their biggest car yet.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s also Dacia&#8217;s first ever crossover and a project quite thoroughly developed. Development started with the Duster Concept released earlier this year and then the surprise announcement of it going ice racing. The Duster will be available in two-wheel drive as well as four-wheel drive. You will be able to choose from the 108bhp 1.6-litre 16V petrol engine or 84bhp and 104bhp 1.5-litre diesels. Quite asthmatic indeed but this car isn&#8217;t meant to be sporty or fast, it&#8217;s just made to give you exactly what you&#8217;ve paid for. It&#8217;s also quite a big car at 4.31 metres long and 1.82 metres wide but don&#8217;t think that it will be rubbish off-road as a result. Dacia say that it&#8217;s a genuine off-roader when equiped with 4wd  as it has 20cm of ground clearance, a 30 degree approach angle and a 35 degree departure angle.</p>
<p>Dacia hasn&#8217;t said yet if they will send this in the UK as Renault (the company that owns the Dacia brand) decided they won&#8217;t ship it to the UK. However, they stated that the fact remains a possibility and if it they were to start selling cars there, they would only offer the Sandero and the Duster, not the Logan.</p>

<p>Well great news indeed (at least for me) as Dacia has announced that it is set to race it&#8217;s Duster model in&#8230;an ice racing series called Trophee Andros. Now that&#8217;s a set of quite surprising decisions in every way and quite a big gamble. The Duster isn&#8217;t even a production model as it was released just as a concept. Now Dacia is a Romanian company owned by Renault. A thing that you guys may not know is that I&#8217;m Romanian as well. So I do wish this little hatch will be successful in the series. Even more surprising is the man who&#8217;ll drive the Duster: none other that F1 World Champion Alain Prost. The guy is quite optimistic as well having been quoted saying: &#8220;I am delighted to be driving the Dacia Duster. It is a brand new vehicle, and I am proud to be able to play a part in its promotion to the unusual backdrop of the Trophee Andros. Thanks to the work put in by Renault Sport Technologies, I have every confidence in Dacia Duster&#8217;s potential and reliability which together point to an extremely exciting season,&#8221;. Now I can confirm that old Dacias was as well-built as biscuit cans but some years ago they were bought by Renault. Now the first good car to roll of the production line was the Logan, followed by the Sandero and the Sandero Stepway. And now this. The new ice-munching duster will have a mid-engine layout which is critical for ice racing. The engine will be a 3 litre, 350 bhp V6 which is just what you need when racing on ice. AWD is present of course but the amazing thing is that it will weigh only 950 kg. Now that&#8217;s a power to weight ratio of more than 350 bhp/tonne which is just amazing. And there&#8217;s a good reason for that: Dacias have always been light cars because they were basic, cheap machines. Just what you need in a car, no more. A 4 wheel steering system is also bound to be bolted to the new racer. As a kid I always hated the awful communist Dacias but now I think the brand is definitely on a good road and with this Duster racer &#8211; I&#8217;m completely sold.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>Se stie ca cei de la &#8220;Top Gear&#8221; au filmat in Romania, toata presa a vuit pe tema asta. Aveau si motive, showul britanic e una din emisiunile cele mai urmarite la nivel planetar cu audiente de 1 miliard de telespectatori!!!. Desi era programata in 2010, emisiunea filmata la noi a fost difuzata in deschiderea celui de-al 14-lea sezon.</p>
<p>Contrar asteptarilor mele,  per ansamblu Romania este prezentata  binevoitor si i se face o reclama buna. Nu stiu daca blonda doamna Udrea si-a bagat coada, dar imaginea tarii  s-a mai imbunatatit putin.</p>
<p>Singurul minus ar fi exagerarea cu tiganii, dar asta e, e totusi o emisiune de divertisment, trebuiau sa puna si lucrurile comerciale.</p>
<p>Ca tot veni vorba de comercial, Dacia Sandero are un &#8220;product placement&#8221;  incredibil, e mentionata de vreo 3-4 ori, chiar condusa de James May. Termenii folositi sunt numai laudativi.</p>
<p>Emisiunea pe scurt:</p>
<ul>
<li>Din start, moderatorii declara faptul ca se asteptau sa gaseasca la noi o tara in care &#8220;oamenii arunca cu pietre in tigani&#8221; si erau siguri ca aparitia lor cu cele trei masini luxoase va atrage atentia tuturor.  Prima surpriza o au chiar in primul popas, la Mamaia, unde masinile din parcarea unui hotel de 5 stele ii impresioneaza. Au primul contact cu Sandero, despre care recunosc ca se intrebau de 2 ani unde e fabricata.</li>
<li>intrecere pe Autostrada Soarelui. Noroc ca avem si noi cativa km de drum bun&#8230;Sandero se remarca iar intr-un moment evident regizat: intrece cele 3 boliduri de lux.</li>

Intr-un final, englezii sunt impresionati si spun ca Ceausescu era un nebun daca avea o asemenea resedinta. In schimb adora cursele din tunelurile de sub Palatul Parlamentului, curse despre care recunosc ca nu ar fi permise in Uk.</li>

In the 14<sup>th</sup> series opener, the boys went on a journey to Romania to try and find the best road in the world, there was a test between a Mercedes S63 AMG and a BMW 760LI and the actor Eric Bana dropped in.</p>

<p>I think the surprise of the night came when I found out that Eric Bana is Australian! I had no idea that he wasn’t an American actor. Well, I suppose that just goes to show how good he is. Also, he is a giant fan of motorsport and races GT cars regularly. It even came out that he has not taken a movie project because he would rather go racing. His prowess on the track really came through when it came to his lap in the reasonably priced Suzuki Liana. Even though it was extremely wet and even though he missed a gear change, he still managed to put in the fastest wet lap of all time, which is damn impressive. All of his lines were spot on and you could tell from the video that he was going to be fast. All in all, a very good lap from a surprisingly Australian person.</p>

<p>The test round the track that took place involved James, for once, testing out some hot super sedans. The Mercedes S63 AMG and the BMW 760LI both feature huge engines, a 6.2 liter V8 in the Merc and a 6.0 liter, twin-turbo V12 in the BMW. Both make generous amounts of power and torque, but the BMW is faster in both a straight line and around a track. This surprised me because I would have thought that the BMW would have been the softer of the two, given that the AMG is usually thought to be a brutish sort of car, and the BMW 7 series generally isn’t thought to be all that sporty. But the Bimmer was better able to put the power to the ground without completely lighting up the back tires around every corner like the AMG. And though the BMW won the battle, it was still decided that both cars were wastes of time and money because they are overpriced and overpowered and don’t know what they really are. They are supposed to be luxury limos, but also try to be sports cars, and that just dilutes them from being truly one or the other. And I have to say, I agree with their verdict on this one. If I want a sports car, I’ll go buy a Porsche or something and if I want a big luxury saloon, I’ll get a Jag, but I don’t need them to be put together and then pay more than I would for both of them combined with the one car.</p>

<p>On to the main event now. In what can only be described as a hair-brained scheme to find a road they could have simply gone to right off the bat, the boys traveled through the country or Romania in search of the Transfagarasan Highway. This is the highest, and most dramatic paved road in the country and looks very similar to the Stelvio  Pass that they visited a few series ago. Of course, it wasn’t just about the road though. The cars that they brought were supposed to be the best grand touring roadsters in the world, and so Clarkson brought an Aston Martin Volante, Hammond showed up in a Ferrari California and James brought a Lamborghini LP560-4 Spyder. They then bickered and did what they do best by driving around, getting lost and competing in challenges that don’t really settle anything at all. Of course, since they were in Romania, it was only natural that they should see a ton of Dacia Sanderos. For those who don’t know, James is obsessed with this car. He feels it is a cheap car with no frills that is actually pretty good. So, Clarkson bought him one. And, as happens with all their gifts, you just knew that it had to get ruined somehow. This time, a large semi-truck backed into it and completely destroyed it after James had parked it “conveniently.” I know it was set up, but it was still great to see, because I think that James actually did like that car. After that, the boys followed May and, of course, got lost out in the Romanian countryside where James had a fender bender with his Lambo. But, after all of that nonsense and tomfoolery, they finally reached the road, and it turned out to be an epic thing. Clarkson even commented that the road was a combination of all the best corners of all the best race tracks in the world, and there is no greater compliment than that.</p>

<p>Overall, the episode was a good one for the start of the series and it can, hopefully, only go up from here. I wish I knew what was coming up on the show next Sunday, but they did not tell the audience. I’m assuming that it will be a big surprise. I will say that the one car I am hoping to see on this series is the new Noble M600. I want to see what it can do around the track, because it is supposed to be devastatingly fast.</p>

Ziaristii s-au strans ca in fata unui mesia in jurul celor trei prezentatori: Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond si James May, s-a zvonit ceva de niste filmari, undeva pe transfagarasan si in jurul Casei Poporului, publicul s-a extaziat de ideea ca un episod din cea mai vizionata emisiune auto se va filma in Romania, promisiunile unei editii interesante a Top Gear existau.</p>
<p>Cum a aratat Romania in viziunea celor de la Top Gear?<br />
1. Clarkson: &#8220;You would imagine that coming here in a car that costs 168.000 pounds is like turning up in Sudan in a suit that&#8217;s entirely made of food&#8221;.   0-1 pentru Top Gear<br />
2. Calatoria celor 3 incepe in Mamaia. Unde englezii raman inmarmuriti de colectia de masini de fitze din fata hotelului Rex. Scorul ramane acelasi.<br />
3. Pe o harta aproximativa a Romaniei este aratat traseul pe care il au de urmat cei 3. Cateva orase principale sunt prezentate pe harta: Constanta, Bucuresti, Pitesti si destinatia&#8230; Transilvaniei. &#8220;Transilvaniei ce?&#8221; veti intreba. Ei bine, se pare ca englezilor le-a scapat din vedere si existenta genitivului din gramatica limbii romane. Scor egal: Romania &#8211; Top Gear, 1-1.<br />
4. O dacia sandero intrece pe autostrada soarelui bolizii celor 3, un Aston Martin DBS Volante, un Ferrari California si un Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder. Romania 2 &#8211; Top Gear 1.<br />
5. Pe sistemul GPS al masinii lui James May nu exista harta Romaniei. May se opreste sa afle indicatii de la cativa trecatori romani. Engleza acestora este execrabila. 2-2.<br />
6. Nici romana lui May,invatata dintr-un ghid de conversatie englez-roman nu este prea recognoscibila. 3-2.<br />
7. Clarkson si Hammond, ajunsi primii &#8211; evident &#8211; in fata Casei Poporului  raman fara cuvinte la vederea Casei Poporului. 4-2. Reuniti cu May profita de ocazie ca sa faca niste ture cu masinile prin tunelele de sub edificiu.<br />
8. Ajunsi intr-un bar, dupa prima zi de calatorie, cei trei vizioneaza la un ecran ceea ce ei denumesc &#8220;a local version of Top Gear&#8221;. Versiunea autohtona prezinta, din nou, Dacia Sandero, si este in limba bulgara ( ?!?!?! ). 4-3. In plus gagica care o prezinta e cam naspa si e imbracata prost. 4-4.<br />
9. In ziua a doua, cei 3 englezi strabat si autostrada Bucuresti &#8211; Pitesti. Dupa care raman fara autostrada. 4-5 si felicitari pentru Ministerul Transporturilor!<br />
10. Caravana opreste pentru ca Clarkson ii face cadou lui May o Dacia Sandero. Cadoul e apreciat foarte mult de May: <em>&#8220;This is the essence of a car. That&#8217;s a superb gift!&#8221;</em> Scor egal: 5-5!<br />
11. Un tir face Sandero-ul nou al lui May praf. May intra intr-o discutie cu soferul tirului. <em>&#8220;I don&#8217;t know what he&#8217;s telling me in hungarian ( ?!?!?! ) or whatever&#8230;&#8221;</em> 5-6 pentru Top Gear.<br />
12. Clarkson descopera un caine maidanez la cinci pasi de piciorul lui. 5-7.<br />
13. Cei trei pasesc in &#8220;gipsy country&#8221;, dupa vorbele lui Hammond. Totul in jur devine <del datetime="2009-11-16T22:04:56+00:00">rustic</del> inapoiat ca in filmul Borat: carute, cai, șatre de țigani, drumuri neasfaltate, praf. 5-8.<br />
14. Puradeii si localnicii inconjoara masinile de parca n-ar fi vazut una in viata lor. Brusc, comparatia cu Sudan-ul pare justificata. Clarkson li se adreseaza direct: <em>&#8220;Gipsies, did you hit that man in the back?&#8221;</em> 5-9 si mi-e rusine.<br />
15. Dupa o noapte petrecuta in masini, pentru ca n-au gasit niciun motel sau pensiune ( sau asa pretind ), englezii strabat un drum plin de gropi si hartoape spre Transfagarasanul mult asteptat. Masinile trepideaza ingrozitor. 5-10 si inca o data multumiri Ministerului Transporturilor.<br />
16. Cei 3 ajung in final la Transfagarasan. Imaginea ii copleseste. <em>&#8220;This is the most amazing road I&#8217;ve ever seen&#8221;</em>, exclama Clarkson. <em>&#8220;It looks like every great corner from every great racetrack in the world has been knitted together to create one unbroken great ribbon of automotive perfection.&#8221;</em> 6-10.<br />
17. Cursa intre britanici incepe, totul in panorama impresionanta a transfagarasanului. Un &#8220;Oh, that&#8217;s havenly!&#8221; sincer iese din gura lui Clarkson. 7-10.<br />
18. Soseaua e impecabila. <em>&#8220;This road is getting better and better. THIS is the best road in the world!&#8221;</em><br />
19. Clarkson incheie finalul traseului montan: &#8220;Romania! Thank you for having us. And can we stay&#8230; for ever?&#8221; 8-10.</p>
<p>Per total, Romania a iesit cu o imagine corecta, pe alocuri distorsionata voit, intr-o ignoranta sau nepasare fortata ( vorbim maghiara si slavona, suntem pe aceeasi pozitie cu Sudanul ), pe alocuri fiind accentuate partile negative ( tigani, comune uitate de tehnologie, gropi in mijlocul soselelor, carute cu fiare vechi, maidanezi &#8211; dar pe toate astea le avem, cu astea defilam in Europa ), pe alocuri fiind omise niste parti bune care ar fi meritat sa fie mentionate: peisajele care-ti taie rasuflarea, cladirile vechi ale Bucurestilor, romancele <img src='http://s.wordpress.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif' alt=':-P' class='wp-smiley' />  , etc. </p>
<p>Cu toate astea, e clar ca cei trei s-au simtit bine, si au facut pana la urma un lobby macar interesant, daca nu pozitiv, Romaniei. Astept acum cu interes sa vad cum o sa le strice Elena Udrea &#38;co toata munca. </p>

<p>PS: cel mai tare m-a deranjat, in final, nu prezentarea facuta de emisiune Romaniei, ci un moment pe care cred ca am si vrut sa-l uit la modul subconstient. Adică există şi în alte ţări şi alte limbi, dar parcă tot nu e atât de falsă cum e la noi. Mă tot întreb dacă oamenii care apar în emisiune sunt plătiţi sau dacă chiar există asemenea&#8230;nu ştiu cum să le zic. Nu ştiu care variantă e mai tâmpită: să apari în emisiune că aşa ai vrut sau să accepţi să primeşti banii şi să te pretezi la asemenea scenarii.M-o luat cu ameţeli când a arătat din următoarea emisiune. Un fel de &#8211; ce faci nenorocitule? esti un şi un, dar te rog nu mă părăsi. Vai de mine!!! Săriţi oameni că mă părăseşte!!!-</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Anyway, revenind la Hitler şi Dacia Sandero. Watch this, că e amuzant. Şi dacă suteţi atenţi mai găsiţi o grămadă de interpretări ale aceleaşi scene, pe veşnicul youtube, fără de care probabil ne-am plictisi.</p>

<p>After the introduction of Logan, Logan MCV, Logan Van and Logan Pickup, Dacia continues to broaden its range with the release of a generously-dimensioned, five-door hatchback: Sandero. The newcomer is manufactured in Pitesti, Romania and benefits from all the fundamental qualities that have become a hallmark of the Dacia range, namely ample cabin space, a high load capacity and robust build. Dacia Sandero will progressively go on sale in the majority of European markets starting from June 2008 and, like other models in the Dacia range, will back up its unrivalled equipment/price ratio with a three-year / 100,000km warranty in most European countries.</p>
<p>Dacia Sandero stands out as a modern hatchback with appealing looks that convey both dynamism and robustness. The front features modern, expressive headlamps and a grille and bumper that blend harmoniously with the bodywork. Its lateral lines form an &#8220;upturned wave&#8221; and underpin the impression of solidity, thanks notably to the broad side protective strips (according to version). The rear styling reinforces the sense of a generously proportioned, spacious and well-built vehicle.</p>
<p>The same resolve to appeal to customers and showcase its quality continues inside the car. The new dashboard has been thought through to be both modern and functional, while there is also the opportunity to combine different colours and surface finishes in several areas (according to version). The design of the door panels also contributes to the cabin&#8217;s modern feel thanks to the smart handles and decorative trim strips (according to version). To mark the upgrade in range, Dacia Sandero is available with three dashboard trims and coordinated upholsteries. Particular attention was paid to produce an uncluttered, practical driving environment, with easy-toread instruments and controls which fall readily to hand.</p>
<p>Efficiency and travelling comfort</p>
<p>Dacia Sandero is built on the same B0 platform as Logan which features MacPherson-type front suspension with wishbone. Certain versions also come with a front anti-roll bar which ensures excellent roadholding when cornering. Dacia Sandero&#8217;s rear suspension is also derived from the B0 platform and comprises a programmeddeflection torsion beam with coil springs and vertically-mounted, extended-travel dampers. The suspension package has been specially engineered for Dacia Sandero, including lower arm joints and a rear end which have been designed to deliver precise handling and good roadholding along sharply twisting roads. Like the Dacia range&#8217;s other models, Sandero boasts high ground clearance (155mm) which means it is able take all types of road in its stride, both in and out of town, a factor that contributes further to its versatility. The new car also benefits from underbody protection which allows it to tackle unsealed surfaces with ease.</p>
<p>Power steering is naturally available for most versions to ensure safe, precise steering and a degree of driving pleasure worthy of a B-segment vehicle. The entry-level version comes without power steering with a view to keeping its price at a reasonable level. The slightly higher steering ratio compared with Clio II and work on the hub carrier and castor angle has resulted in a reduction in the effort required to turn the steering wheel.</p>
<p>Certain versions are equipped with a height and lumbar adjustable driver&#8217;s seat which enables the ideal driving position to be found, while the driver can get more comfortable by the height adjustable steering wheel (according to version) and ergonomically-positioned steering wheel-mounted controls.</p>
<p>Last but not least, careful attention has been paid to thermal comfort to address the special needs of customers in a wide variety of climates and countries. The layout of the ducts has been thought through to ensure a rapid rise in temperature on start-up, as well as in extreme heat and cold.</p>
<p>A comprehensive range of engines</p>
<p>Dacia Sandero is available with a choice of two petrol engines (1.4l 75hp and 1.6l 90hp) and two diesel engines (1.5 dCi 70hp and 1.5 dCi 85hp) which have already proven their worth on numerous other vehicles in the Renault family and which have actively contributed to the success of the Dacia range.</p>
<p>The 1.4 and 1.6 petrol engines are a perfect match for the cost, robustness and ease of maintenance values championed by the Dacia brand, and both are renowned for the availability of high torque at low engine speeds, as well as across a broad rev-band.</p>
<p>The benchmark 1.5 dCi is acclaimed as one of the world&#8217;s most efficient diesel engines. Its advanced technology includes second-generation common rail direct injection which delivers high performance and very low fuel consumption. The 1.5 dCi engine is available in 70hp form and also a punchier 85hp version which was launched in September 2007 on Dacia Logan and Dacia Logan MCV. Low CO2 emissions of 120g ensure an attractive ecological footprint for the 1.5 dCi engines of Dacia Sandero.</p>
<p>Cabin space and carrying capacity worthy of the segment above</p>
<p>Although Dacia Sandero&#8217;s price positions it in the small car area of the market, its generous interior and exterior dimensions are in fact more in keeping with those of a vehicle from the next compact category up. Its unrivalled cabin space/price ratio has been made possible thanks to its length (4.02m), width (1.75m) and wheelbase (2.59m).</p>
<p>The rear bench seat comfortably seats up to three adult passengers who benefit from 878mm of headroom, 145mm of kneeroom and 1,425mm of elbowroom, while a child seat can be fitted to all three seats. In addition to the rear&#8217;s roomy dimensions, access to the rear seats is made even easier due to the fact that the rear doors open to an angle of up to 67°.</p>
<p>The boot capacity of 320 litres is also unbeatable for the vehicle&#8217;s price and compact dimensions, while its practical, modular layout is enhanced by the folding rear bench seat which offers a 60/40 split according to version. With the bench seat folded, the total carrying capacity extends to 1,200 litres, ensuring that Dacia Sandero stands out as a compact yet extremely spacious hatchback capable of comfortably carrying up to five adults.</p>
<p>Safety: an inescapable consideration</p>
<p>When it comes to Dacia Sandero&#8217;s safety credentials, the newcomer benefits from the acclaimed expertise of the Renault Group in this field.</p>
<p>On the active safety front, particular attention has been paid to Dacia Sandero&#8217;s braking system which offers a degree of comfort, bite and progressive stopping power that is perfectly in keeping with the level expected of a Bsegment car in Europe. Dacia Sandero can also be equipped with latest-generation Bosch 8.1 ABS which incorporates EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution) and, for the first time in the Dacia range, EBA (Emergency Brake Assist).</p>
<p>Dacia Sandero is equipped with numerous passive safety features too, including the use of materials such as high elastic limit (HEL) steel which ensures enhanced cabin resistance by minimising deformation, notably in the case of head-on impacts. The combination of the magnesium steering wheel frame and retractable steering column contributes to the dissipation of the kinetic energy produced in an impact, while the honeycomb structure of the polypropylene dashboard reduces the risk of knee injury. In addition to the materials it uses, the curved design of the lower part of the cowling matches the shape of the tibias with a view to spreading out the force of an impact should the tibias come into contact with the dash. Last but not least, legs and ankles are further protected by underfoot padding on both the passenger and driver sides.</p>
<p>Dacia Sandero is equipped with three-point seatbelts. The front seatbelts incorporate calibrated load limiters for enhanced protection of the thorax. Depending on version, these three-point seatbelts are height-adjustable to optimise body restraint in case of impact. The retention system can also be upgraded to include pyrotechnic pretensioners for the front seatbelts. Dacia Sandero also benefits from ISOFIX child seat anchorage for the outer rear seats.</p>
<p>Depending on equipment level, Dacia Sandero comes with up to four airbags. The driver&#8217;s airbag, which has been specially designed for Dacia Sandero, features a vent that adjusts the pressure applied as the bag deploys. Certain versions are equipped with two lateral head thorax airbags which provide extra protection in case of side impact, in addition to that ensured by the padding and strengthening structures incorporated as standard in the doors. The lateral head thorax airbags are located in strengthened seats which come with headrests specifically designed to prevent injury to the cervical vertebrae in case of rear impact. This new set-up ensures a better position of the back and enhanced retention and comfort of the head.</p>

<p><strong>Dacia</strong> a lansat ieri in Romania mult asteptata versiune <strong>Dacia Sandero Stepway.</strong></p>
<p>In cadrul unui eveniment organizat, Dacia a facut cunostinta publicului cu noua versiune Sandero Stepway. Masina poate fi comandata incepand cu data de <strong>23 iunie</strong>, clientii avand la dispozitie doua variante de motorizare: propulsorul pe benzina de <strong>1.6 l MPI 90 CP</strong> la un pret de <strong>9.200 euro cu TVA inclus</strong> si propulsorul diesel <strong> 1.5 l dCi 70 CP</strong> la un pret de <strong>10.400 euro, TVA inclus.</strong></p>

<p><span><strong>Miercuri 17 iunie incepand cu orele 13 se va lansa oficial Dacia Sandero Stepway, un model asteptat, interesant pentru piata romaneasca.</strong> Diferentele fata de versiunea conventionala Dacia Sandero sunt de ordin estetic, Stepway fiind mai adecvata pentru aventura. Din punct de vedere mecanic sunt metinute <strong>motoarele de 1.6 si 1.5 dCi</strong>. Dacia Sandero Stepway  este fabricata la uzina de la Mioveni.</span></p>

<p>Numarul total al exemplarelor vandute de Dacia a ajuns in acest moment la 1.440.000, 10% dintre acestea fiind reprezentate de gama Sandero.</p>

<p>Producţia vechii versiuni Polo cu patru uşi s-a încheiat încă de la finalul lunii martie. Începând cu ultima săptămână din luna iunie va urma lansarea pe piaţă a acestui bestseller comercializat în milioane de unităţi în Germania, într-o versiune remarcabilă din punct de vedere optic, precum şi tehnic. După numai două săptămâni, aşa cum indică planul de bază cu detalii logistice exigente, Volkswagen va comercializa deja acest model în întreaga Europă, pentru ca ulterior Polo să fie disponibil pe toate continentele. În România se va putea precomanda din luna iunie, cu livrare din luna septembrie a acestui an.</p>

<p>Miercuri, 13 mai 2009, la uzina de la Mioveni a fost produs automobilul Dacia Sandero cu numărul  100 000. Vehiculul, de culoare roşie, este destinat pieţei din România.<!--more--></p>
<p> Lansat în iunie 2008, Dacia Sandero este comercializat în prezent în 38 de ţări. Pentru a răspunde cererii comerciale, la uzina din Mioveni cadenţa de fabricaţie pentru acest model este de 610 unităţi pe zi. În funcţie de pieţele pe care este prezent, Dacia Sandero este disponibil în mai multe variante de motorizare: trei motorizări pe benzină de 1.2 16V, 1.4 de 75 CP şi 1.6  90 CP şi două motorizări diesel 1.5 DCI de 70 CP şi 85 CP. De curând, pe unele pieţe externe, cum sunt Italia şi Franţa, este comercializată şi o versiune GPL a berlinei bicorp produse de Dacia.</p>
<p>În România, modelul Sandero poate fi achiziţionat la un preţ de pornire de numai 6 890 EUR (cu toate taxele incluse), în 5 versiuni de echipare. Gama Dacia Sandero va fi completată în cursul acestui an cu noua versiune, Stepway, prezentată în premieră la Salonul Auto de la Barcelona din mai 2009.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>Succesul Daciei Sandero în Germania a reuşit să-l scoată din minţi chiar şi pe&#8230; Hitler. Supărat că germanii preferă Dacia în locul maşinilor autohtone, Hitler s-a înfuriat din cale-afară.</p>
<p>Bineînţeles, este vorba despre un filmuleţ care parodiază situaţia industriei auto din Germania, grav afectată de criza economică.</p>
<p>Încercând să revitalizeze vânzările în industria auto, autorităţile germane au lansat programul &#8220;Rabla&#8221;.</p>
<p>Însă, surpriză: în loc să ia cu asalt showroom-urile mărcilor de automibile autohtone, germanul de rând a preferat Dacia românească. În acest fel, marca românească a primit o adevărată gură de oxigen. Sursa(Antena3)</p>
