The music sounds great, I’ll give them that. And I did seriously consider using this video for Cover Wednesday, but I just couldn’t get over the guy’s voice. It sounds so forced and fake. I fear some of you may not agree with me on this one, so let’s hear it.

I’ve decided to give them a heart-shaped courage award because they were halfway good.

Update 05/02/2010: Please check out the comments section of this post. The lead singer of the band stopped by to voice his opinion about this post. I have checked out some of their over videos on YouTube and no longer feel that his voice sounds “forced and fake”. This is just his normal singing voice. Please check The Day Street Brothel’s Myspace page and their YouTube channel to form your own opinion of the band.

They made me chuckle a few times, impressed me a couple more times, and then made me say, “Uh…okay,” at the end of the video. Not really sure what that was all about. Do they make a raised eyebrow smiley? I don’t have a problem with it, it’s just that they seemed really awkward about it, and what the hell did it have to do with the video anyway? Especially since the singer was advertising the fact that he’s single. But whatever, I’m all for love in any form. Gotta love the love.

• huldra tattoo – Huldra, you’re so famous someone wanted a tattoo of you!   So…I had to google to see why you were famous, and this is what I found. You chose an awesome nickname, Huldra!
• shaun morgan personal email – haha. Good luck finding that online. But if you do happen to find it…
• shaun morgan hospital – This one was not funny. I almost had a heart attack when I saw it. I immediately started researching to make sure Shaun was okay. I thought someone knew something I didn’t and something had happened to him. He’s fine.
• youtube dildo – Yeah, this one showed up after several weeks of nothing even remotely funny popping up (heehee…popping up). It gave me quite the chuckle.
• broken finger nickname – Hmmmm, what should I name my broken finger? Hubert? McCrackin?

It’s rare anymore for me to get an unusual search term that directs people to my blog. I’m not really sure why. And I’m not sure if it’s a good or a bad thing. I’m mostly getting a lot of Seether blog and searches for whatever is currently going on with Seether like rock fest cadott wi. They’re just not funny.

B-U-T…what IS happening is that the blog is spreading throughout the internet for what it really is, a fan’s blog about the band Seether, and that’s a good thing.

The sound on the videos is occasionally a bit harsh, but the person filming was right up front, so it’s an awesome view.

A few things I noticed:

- Shaun’s beard is getting long.

- Dale’s hair is getting really long and super mohawky.

- Troy’s hair is getting long and he’s rockin’ a full beard now.

- All the guys looked like they were having a lot of fun. I think the break did them good.

- John looked smokin’ hot finishing up his drum solo. Seriously. Make sure you watch it. Start at about minute 2:00 if you want and just watch. ‘Cause then it immediately goes into Burrito with Shaun and Troy looking amazing and doing a synchronized jump. Awesome!

Anyway…she told me the best meet-the-band story EVER! First, make sure you’ve seen this post before proceeding.

“But this last time I met them it was the best!
I mean here I was just talking to Troy and Shaun and then…wait I KNOW you saw that video of Shaun throwing his dildo into the audience,right??!?
Well as I was saying there I was just talking to the two of them then all of a sudden we hear this girl shouting on her cell phone to some other chick “OH MY GOD,I CAUGHT SHAUN MORGANS DILDO!!”
We just looked at each other and started loosing it!! Then Shaun says “As if I didnt look and sound gay enough..!”
Now those are the kind of memories im talking about!!”

If I could only meet and get to know one band member of Seether, it would be John. He’s so cool and down to earth. The other guys are too, but John is more so. Even though he’s now a famous drummer he still seems like an average, normal guy.

You rock, John!

The Seether boys are all back in the US. Because of Rock Fest. And I’m excited! Not because I’m going (Oh, how I wish I was ), but because it means we might have some new live concert videos. Yay! They’re playing at 6:30 pm, so that means it will still be daylight which makes for great video.

I decided to take a look at the festival’s line-up for today…poor Seether. They’re playing after Lifehouse and then followed by Barenaked Ladies. I really think they would have been a better fit for Sunday’s line-up, but nobody asked me.

Is anyone going to this concert? If so, we expect a full review.

How great would it be if they still had the video from it? That would be fun to watch while reading. I really want to see what the mysterious Enrique behind Shaun looked like.
