Kurt Angle “con un tirón en la espalda” anoche en el PPV Turning Point

Eso fue lo que Publicó la presidente TNA, Dixie Carter en su cuenta de Twitter.

Aparentemente la lesión se produjo a sólo unos minutos de final en el match de Angle con el recién llegado a TNA Desmond Wolfe, en lo que ella misma llama, uno de los mejores encuentros de TNA en el año. Afortunadamente, Carter añadió que no fue demasiado grave y “no se perderá la acción”. No se reportan mas lesionados.

Kurt Angle sigue programado para luchar esta noche en las grabaciones de TNA iMPACT! , que saldrán al aire la noche del jueves por Spike. Angle hara equipo con el campeón de TNA, AJ Styles contra Desmond Wolfe y Daniels.

Tonight on TNA Wrestling Impact, Sting will make his  first Impact appearance since October’s Bound For Glory event and he’ll be sitting down with Mike Tenay for an exclusive interview discussing his future in TNA and the signing of his old friend and foe, Hulk Hogan. Some announced matches have Taylor Wilde battling Hamada, Beer Money teaming with the Motor City Machine Guns to take on World Elite in an 8-man tag match, and the big main-event tag team match with AJ Styles teaming with Kurt Angle to take on Daniels and Desmond Wolfe. All of this and more tonight on TNA Impact on Spike TV at 8pm CST.

I’m actually kind of interested in the Sting interview, just because of the history between him and Hulk Hogan. All of the announced matches seem like fun on paper, we’ll see how the turn out. The tag team main event is something I’m looking forward too, as it could be an excellent bout if TNA allows it too. You have four of the very best in the world, should make for a fun match.

  • Muy buen match de dominio intermitente que Amazing lográ concluír con su espectacular Code Red (Powerbomb con flip tipo rana)
• 2) 3 vs. 3 – All Knockouts Titles On The Line: Sarita & Taylor Wilde © & ODB © vencieron a The Beautiful People vía powerslam de ODB a Velvet Sky
  • Las técnicas dominaron sin mayor problema todo el match, incluso cuando las rudas quisieron hacer triple equipo, ODB salió avante sola
• Entrevista a Desmond Wolfe en backstage, donde nos dice que él es un caballero inglés, y que la lucha contra Angle, comenzará con un saludo de manos

  • The British Invasion són aún campeones tras lograr la cobertura sobre Robert Roode luego de que en ringside, James Storm es sorpresivamente atacado por Kevin Nash
  • Chris Sabin había quedado fuera de acción luego de un vuelo fuera del ring donde Williams se quitó, Shelley había recibido un ataque en doble equipo y estaba en ring side
• JB entrevista a Kevin Nash en backstage, en donde dice que lo hizo al intervenir en la lucha, le fue indicado por “Hulk”

• 4) Six Sides Of Steel: Tara venció a Awesome Kong
• Kong ataca a Tara antes de que inicie el match formalmente.
• Kong domina los primeros minutos, luego Tara aplica golpes sobre Kong, patadas y un golpe a la cabeza que le dan la ventaja, para que transcurridos 7 minutos de la lucha, aplique un power slam sobre Kong, poco después tara pide el conteó de tres al referí.
• Después de la lucha, Lauren entrevista a Tara en ringside, dice ser la mejor luchadora de la actualidad, y exige a ODB una oportunidad por el título TNA Knockouts.
• Tenay y Taz hablan de Hogan, pasan un video, y Tenay cuestiona y enfatiza, ¡Cuál será el impacto de éste en la compañia?
• 5) Street Fight: Rhino and Team 3D vencieron a Matt Morgan, Hernandez  & Pope D’Angelo Dinero
• Dinero ataca a Brother Ray de inmediato, pero llegan los otros rudos y se van sobre el papa.
• Morgan entra al salve, ya avanzada la lucha, más de diez minutos, el giganton se va con todo sobre Rhino y luego le da el relevo Hernandez para que siga castigando a Rhino. Hernandez, cerca del minuto trece se enfrenta a Team 3D, que intentan el whats up sobre el Supermex, pero Dinero distrae a Devon, Hernandez intenta vencer a Devon, pero Rhino lo sorprende con gore y con ello vencen los ex ECW.
• Lauren  en entrevista con Scott Steiner, que habla de Lanshley y su esposa Kristal. Dice que hara “sucumbir” al peleador de MMA y su esposa, también.
• 6) Bobby Lashley venció a Scott Steiner.
• Lashley inicia la ofensiva contra Stiner desde que que suena la campana con una serie de suplexes. Steiner aplica una Frankensteiner , después de un rato la lucha se fue a los pasillo, pues las caídas contaban en cualquier lugar,  salen de la zona de ring side, luego del estudio, ahí se golpean con algunas tablas,  regresan, se van cerca de la mesa de comentaristas, luego Steiner aplica la ventaja cuando golpea a Lanshley con un tubo, y con eso logra noquearlo, para aplicar la cuenta de tres.
• En Backstage Angle, dice que Wolfe no sabe con quien se metió, que esto es como cuando golpeas al perro grande del patio, del vecino y no sabes lo que pasará.
• 7) Kurt Angle venció a Desmond Wolfe (Nigel McGuinness)
  • Wolfe se va sobre el brazo de Angle desde el principio de la lucha. De manera poco acostumbrada en la lucha americana, el match se convierte en una cmpetencia de llaveo. Angle toma el control de la lucha cerca del minuto 8:00, apliando una serie de cuatro suplexes.
  • La lucha se desarrolla, al parejo, hasta que Desmond aplica una Tower of London a Kur, el olimpico evita la maniobra.
  • “This is awesome,” canta la gente en la arena, Angle regresa al ring, luego de algunas maniobras fuera de éste, y pone en su lugar al británico con un gigantesco clothesline, seguido de un moonsault, pero Wolfe se mueve, Desmond toma a Kurt’ con su London Dungeon, luego al minuto 14, Desmond aplica su  superplex,  Kurt lo noquea y ahora va para apliacar su frogsplash.  Angle captura el tobillo de Desmond, el ex campeón de ROH se safa, y Angle va por un castigo al cuello, Wolfe finalmente golpeó la lona, para rendirse.
  • Videos de Samoa Joe, monstrando su brutalidad, en entrevista dice que podría mandar a los dos al hospital alos dos, pero con vencer a uno de ellos es suficiente para poder ser el nuevo campeón.
• Previo a la lucha de campeonato, mostrando a Daniels en backstage.

• Daniels recibe a AJ con un puñetazo en la cara, y de ahi los 7 primero minutos se dan con todo, en lo que Joe prácticamente los observa. Un verdadero intercambio de patadas y golpes bajos, ya que Daniels se ha estado comportando como un rudazo, además de tomar en cuenta el estilo duro de Joe.
• Luego, cerca del minuto 15, Daniel y Styles se unen momentaneamente para dejar noqueado en la lona a Joe, y seguir ellos con la lucha.
• Joe regresa y evita que Daniels aplique The Best Moonsault Ever, hecho que aporvecha Styles para conectar una plancha de 450, que aunque cae en las rodilals de Daniels, alcanza para que con el cuerpo de Joe, Daniels sea cubierto y se llegue a la cuenta de tres. AJ retiene ante sus dos mejores oponentes.
• Comercial de Final Resolution con una lucha de Feast or Fired para el 20 de diciembre.
• Fin de la transmisión.

ANTECEDENTES

• En video vemos el pre show on line con Socal Val entrevistando a Desmond Wolfe (Nigel McGinness) que debuta en un PPV y The Motor City Machineguns, que vuelven a tener un lugar estelar en las carteleras.
• Los pronósticos ya fueron previamente comentados.
• Además, esperamos alguna reacción de los elementos de TNA, en contra de Hulk Hogan que en breve iniciara su gira Hulkmania en Australia. Y muy pronto estará de lleno en TNA.

TNA presenta posiblemente su cartel más fuerte del año, superior en papel incluso a Bound for Glory, evento que hace un mes obtuvo excelentes críticas de medios y aficionados

  • ¿Volverán a tener un match del nivel que dieron en el 2005?, no hay pretexto, los 3 están en un momento óptimo, lamentablemente la rivalidad no tiene toda la profundidad que tuvo en aquella ocasión
• 2) Kurt Angle vs. Desmond Wolfe (Nigel McGuinness)
  • Nigel McGuinnes Desmond Wolfe debe mostrar la razón de toda la expectación que causó su firma, y Kurt Angle es el rival adecuado para dar un encuentro que podría volverse un clásico, esperamos ver a Nigel usando todo su repertorio de Lariats y llaves de rendición que permitan que sea lanzado al estrellato logrando una de las pocas derrotas limpias que Angle ha recibido en su carrera

• 3) Bobby Lashley vs. Scott Steiner
  • ¿Steiner es el último miembro de MEM?, la rivalidad se ha construido muy al estilo WWE, incluso se recuerda la rivalidad Steiner vs Triple H, con Krystal haciendo el papel de Stephanie. Lashley debe ser el triunfador, sobre todo si viene de vencer a Samoa Joe, aunque no será una buena lucha
• 4) TNA Tag Team Title Match: The British Invasion © vs. The Motor City Machineguns vs. Beer Money
  • Si hay un encuentro en este PPV donde alguien DEBE ganar, son los MCMG, la pareja más coordinada de la lucha libre norteamericana, ya merece llegar a la cima
• 5) Street Fight: Rhino and Team 3D vs. Matt Morgan, Hernandez  & Pope D’Angelo Dinero
  • Interesante encuentro de veteranos contra nuevos valores, Rhino lleva semanas diciendo que hay una conspiración contra los ex-ECW, que ha llevado a la unión de un equipo rival poco común. Los nuevos valores deben vencer para dar continuidad a la historia de la conspiración
• 6) Six Sides Of Steel: Tara vs. Awesome Kong
  • El encuentro que se esperaba desde que Tara (Victoria), llegó a TNA. La rivalidad ha progresado al viejo estilo, tomando meses, involucrándose en diferentes encuentros, hasta que finalmente se verán las caras mano a mano en jaula, difícil de pronosticar, pero esperamos la victoria de Kong
• 7) 3 vs 3 – All Knockouts Titles On The Line: Sarita & Taylor Wilde © & ODB © vs. The Beautiful People
  • Los dos títulos de Knockouts TNA estarán en juego en un match 3 vs 3. Las técnicas lucen muy superiores, y no debe haber sorpresas, fuera de ver el trabajo en el ring de Lacey Von Erich, que podría sorprender o decepcionar
• X-Division Title Match: Amazing Red © vs. Homicide
  • Homicide y Amazing son dos grandes luchadores, el match seguramente tendrá gran calidad, pero Homicide se ha estado perdiendo luego de la separación de LAX, Red es el favorito

Luego de la edición de este 12 de noviembre, de TNA iMPACT, parece ser que este será el cartel final del PPV Turning Point, donde destaca el debut en PPV de Nigel McGuinness (Desmond Wolfe) y la estelar, donde se repite la mejor lucha que ha sido presentada en TNA hasta la fecha

Lacey Von Erich hará también su debut en PPV, en un match 3 vs 3 de knockouts

Ok so i havent done one of these in a minute so i figured id write you ones and tell you guys whats up….

With having the record of 5-3 the Houston Texans are two games above .500 for the first time in franchise history, and also sits at 2nd place behind the Indianapolis Colts who are 7-0. For most teams in the National Football League aside from the Detroit Lions this stat is not that impressive, but as a die hard Texan fan this is the most excited I have ever been for a possible Texans’ playoff run. Although the Texans are on track for a projected 10-6 season and their first playoff berth, they have yet to face the most difficult of their opponents 4 straight divisional games and then finishing up the season with the “Wildcat Running” Miami Dolphins and the “Always Hot” New England Patriots.

Most of the success of this season can be attributed to Owen Daniels Houston’s breakout Tight End this season and the consistency from Pro Bowl Wide Receiver Andre’ Johnson both leading the NFL in receiving yards for their positions, another stat that has never been held by two Texans at the same time. But if your any kind of Football fan you know that when a team is winning the first place to look is at the QB position and Matt Schaub is doing more than a good job. He is currently the League leader in passing yards and is tied for the most touchdowns with the legendary Peyton Manning and always impressive Drew Brees. By no means am i even comparing his abilities or leadership abilities to those of Manning, but one has to see what he is and give credit where it is due.

But not all is well in the Texans’ camp, in last Sunday’s game  Owen Daniels was sidelined due to a torn ACL which is a major set back for the Texans’ Aerial attack. As if this news is not enough to make Houston fans grew weary, the unreliability of RB Steve Slaton to hold on to the possession of the pigskin will do the trick. Coach Gary Kubiak who is an avid believer of sticking with the depth chart from season beginning to end was forced to place the running back on the bench do to his turnover problems. Coach Kubiak has not made it clear to the media about Slaton’s starting job for next Sunday’s match up against the Colts. Slaton’s explosive ability will be needed if the Texans feel that they have a chance against the never consistent Colts’ defense. But nevertheless if Kubiak decides to play him and he turns over the ball again this will cause the media to question Kubiak’s game plan and philosophy.

With a tough road schedule and the most important game in franchise history coming up this Sunday, the Houston Texans will need to capitalize on all the opportunities that come up against the 7-0 Indianapolis Colts. This is the only way I feel the Texans will have a chance to knock off this undefeated team and continue their milestone setting season.

Antecedentes:

• El main event repite el presentado en el PPV TNA Unbreakable, del 11 de septiembre del 2005, en el cual estuvieron luchando por el título de la Division X que fue calificada por el Wrestling Observer con 5 estrellas.
• Otros encuentros anunciados incluyen el debut en PPV de Desmond Wolfe (Nigel McGuinness).
• Los MCMG reciben una oportunidad al título.

Durante la última serie de grabaciones de televisión de TNA el luchador Frankie Kazarian quien personifica al luchador Suicide, realizo la solicitud de su release de la empresa, y según las palabras del luchador, las razones de su desinterés por seguir con la empresa han sido por el descontento y la frustración con la cual la dirección creativa a manejado su personaje.

La gerencia de la empresa acepto inicialmente la liberación del contrato de Kazarian, pero posteriormente AJ Styles y Christopher Daniels conversaron con Frankie y lograron convencerlo, calmando la situación para que este anulara la solicitud y se quedara en la empresa, y con ello finalmente ambas partes acordaron seguir trabajando juntas.

Con este caso, ya suman dos los que en apenas un par de meses han salido a la luz publica, ya que hace unas semanas ocurrió algo similar con Homicide.

Aunque el regreso de Travis Tomko a TNA es extra-oficial, pues apareció como el misterioso atacante del campeón AJ Styles. AJ Styles y Tomko fueron juntos campeones de parejas de la empresa (Su movimiento final combinado era el “Tornado–Plex”)
Es de destacar que TNA le permite a Tomko regresar en una buena posición, luego de que fue despedido por su falta de compromiso con la empresa (Dejó eventos con TNA para ir a fechas en Japón)

Como puede verse en el video, no se nota con claridad al atacante, pero se nota que no tiene pelo, razón por la cual se culparía a Daniels de los hechos
