And they love backseat driving in shiny expensive cars! This one is headed to <a href="http://www.ci.lafayette.ca.us/" target="_blank">Lafayette, California</a> for the <a href="http://danville-delegance.org/" target="_blank">Danville Tour d’Elegance</a> weekend September 15 &#38; 16, 2012. This year&#8217;s theme is &#8220;<a href="http://www.justluxe.com/lifestyle/luxury-cars/feature-1806282.php" target="_blank">Legends of Racing, Heroes of Parkinson&#8217;s</a>&#8221; and honors three racecar drivers, <a href="https://www.facebook.com/loveatl" target="_blank">Dave Love</a>, <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sam_Posey" target="_blank">Sam Posey</a>, and the late <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phil_Hill" target="_blank">Phil Hill</a>, whose lives have been challenged by the effects of Parkinson’s disease. The tour of classic,  vintage, and exotic pleasure and racing vehicles will begin at the <a href="http://www.roomstays.com/hotel/880592" target="_blank">Lafayette Park Hotel</a> and take racers through the scenic rural roads of the <a href="http://napavalley.com/" target="_blank">Napa Valley</a>. There will be a “pit” stop for a catered lunch at the <a href="http://www.cardinale.com/" target="_blank">Cardinale Winery</a> before the participants return to Lafayette. A dinner and an <a href="http://danville-delegance.org/" target="_blank">auction</a> will be held at the <a href="http://www.blackhawkmuseum.org/" target="_blank">Blackhawk Museum</a>. Proceeds go to the <a href="http://www.thepi.org/" target="_blank">Parkinson’s Institute</a> in Sunnyvale, California, and the <a href="https://www.michaeljfox.org/" target="_blank">Michael J. Fox Foundation.</a> Admission is free for visitors, though donations are encouraged. For information, visit <a href="http://danville-delegance.org/" target="_blank">Danville Tour d’Elegance</a>.</h4>
