im sooooo addicted to Ugly Betty now its unreal. I need to stop watching american tv before I run out… actually, I say before I run out, but im pretty much out of them now anywho…

so i got some good news earlier. Im getting my allowence doubled after christmas… so exited. the posibilites are endless! means i can shop MOREEEEE! and still use dads amazon account. yay. i hope thats part of my inheritence… dads amazon account. its not like anyone elses uses it more than me. IVE EARNED IT!

its kinda worrying me how close me and my dear, dear mother are at the moment. it seems like its been forever since we argued. we’re even planning to get out the ps1 and play through all the old tomb raiders together. im actually sooooo exited. but realy scared. we’re due an argument. and its been so long. their will probably be murder…

wow it reminds me of the daysss…. i remember when my mum got her first pc and i was like… i dont know… four., and I used to sit with my mum and play tomb raider. yeah, that probably makes her the worst parent of all time! but i disagree. i think it made me the person I am today, and it probably one of my clearest happy memories… and then tomb raider two was around the time my dad came out of hospital, so thats more happy memories.

Im glad my mum was such a bad parents. it technically, in my eyes, made her the best parent EVER! thanks mum! much appreciated!

I get so annoyed with political correctness and protecting children from the horrors that can be found in fairytales. who cares if the big bad wolf is terrifying, and who cares if its baa baa black sheep. does it make it any less offensive its its baa baa rainbow sheep? isnt that just plain in your face homaphobia? or maybe its encouraging kids to be gay?

kids arn’t stupid. they know whats right and whats wrong. if its so wrong to expose children to fairytales, then why on earth do we think its fine to expose them to the monster we call The Night Garden. now, im not being funny, but the things in that absolutely terrify me! id rather be locked in a room with a clown than in a room with them.

And tellytubbies. im sorry, but that was just plane WRONG! how DARE they allow names such as Tinky Winky (little penis) Dipsy (stupid blonde girl) lala (CRAZYYYYY BITCH) Po (Shit) on the screens. for fucks sake they didnt even speak english… hell, they didnt speak. period.

I dont think that me reading stories like Little Red Riding Hood or Enid Blyton’s The Magical Far Away Tree ever effected me. wait. no. take it back. bible bashers will blatently blame my exposure to these sins as the reason for my homosexuality. OH FORGIVE ME FATHER for being ME!

I don’t care. if they’re whats made me such a sin, then fine, I’m glad. I’m happy and proud to be the person I am, and I wouldnt want it any other way!

If anything I think its a sin that the people who are banning and changing these fairytales and other classics are the people who were never exposed to them in the first place. they seriously DON’T know what theyre missing. losers.

Went sitex with dear on Saturday to get our itouch!
The ladies’ lucky dip is crap lor. So many people draw le also get “thank you for participating”. Should have tried the other lucky draw instead. Haha.

After that went to Popeye’s at T3 for our dinner. Damn tired and hungry le but the crowd there like damn alot. Waited very long before we got ourselves a table. Can even watch replay of the Popeye cartoon le lor.. Haha.
Tried the maxi meal. Not bad la, the normal 2 pc meal like more shiok though. But the mash potato really nice.

Stick the screen protector until I become a pro. Dear don’t know how to stick the screen protector! He made his screen full of bubbles.. Haha, stupid boy.
And I helped him to get rid of all of it! Well almost all, left the side got little bit, but it was way way way better than his..
Then later that night dear keep doing stuff on his itouch and don’t want sleep. Find games ar, fiddle here and there. But good la, then I can just ask him where to download stuff.

Dear was able to book out last night cos today is public holiday!
So we got to spend our second anniversary together. Haha.

Met him at cck and then took bus down to Orchard. Booked tickets New Moon. Theatre was almost full lor.
Then went to Orchard central for dinner. Wanted to at Ootoya de, but they were left with the counter seats, and dear say sit there very smelly, hahaa. So we headed down to Tonkichi.
Some happenings while we were there, first the seat was wet and I didn’t know, so I sat on it and backside wet, haha.. okay la, not super wet, just comfortable. Then I dropped my chopsticks, so had to trouble the guy (seems to be the manager I guess?) to get a new set for me. Then I saw the waiter almost poured miso onto the manager. Haha. Heng he dodged fast enough. But he very calm, still can serve us cheerfully.
While we were grinding our sesame seeds, the woman from the table across kept staring. Don’t know how long she stared for though. Hello? Never see people grind sesame seeds before isit?

New Moon. I admit I really felt bored in the starting. Haha.
Taylor Lautner is really buffed sia! Muscles damn big. But from some angles his head looked kinda small.. compared to his body, haha..
One thing illogical spotted! When he transform into a werewolf, all his clothes are supposed to be ripped apart, however when he transform back to human, he still has his berms on. Haha.

Dear and I went to enter for the lucky draw thing for our card.
Won only one Gloria Jean’s small drink and he won Donut Factory set.

Original plan for Saturday was night safari with aud they all, but last minute didn’t go. Tired, plus cough getting worse. Poor boy kena disturbed by my coughing that night.

On Sunday, went out to celebrate Teng and Cass’s birthday, belated.

Irritating sore throat is taking damn long to recover.

Dear (on-going manga)

Dear centers around three pairs whose lives seem to revolve around lycanthropes. Searching for this very powerful demon and healing their ‘curses’, these people find friendship and love along the way.

Dear is the sequel of another manga by the same author entitled Watashi No Ookami-san. But it isn’t necessary to read the prequel to understand Dear. This manga can pretty mcuh stand on its own. But if you like to know more about the other two characters, Watashi No Ookami-san is highly recommended.

Chiharu is the last of the remaining lycanthropes. For this reason, she lives alone and is friendless because humans fear demons like her. One day, she decides to face the world and go out of her house (which only has one TV as a furniture. That’s where she gets all her ‘knowledge’ about the world). Through this, she meets Kisara, her childhood friend with whom she shares memories with. As she gets closer to Kisara again, enemies from the demon land seek her help. Will they ever return to normal again?

Truth to be told, Dear is a much better manga than Watashi No Ookami-san. Not that the latter is a bad manga, mind you, it’s just that the story is too messy. But the characters in both mangas are really, really interesting and lovable.

Chiharu is a lovable protagonist. Her naivety about the world, her obsession with finding new people, her cute appearance…almost every aspect of her lovable. But she isn’t a perfect character either, I find her somewhat boring although that isn’t much of a hindrance. She’s soo much better than Komomo, who think she’s such a great hero. I really wonder what cool Subaru finds in her. No offense to her many fans but she just annoys me. To keep my insults to a minimum, she is a character that is not worth reading. Heck! My sister stopped reading Dear just because of her. Imagine that…

Purino is probably the best female character. Her extreme clumsiness is really adorable. And when she turns into a lycanthrope…I just can’t help but squeal with delight! Her relationship with the very hot Kurenai is really the best thing about the manga. Of course a lot of people seem to find Komomo and Subaru a much better pair but I will always be obsessed with KurenaixPurino pair.

As for the plot, it is very unique. At least I haven’t read anything about lycanthropes before. With Chiharu’s lack of knowledge about what lycanthrope’s can do, I keep wondering what the mangaka will do to help these people. Or if the humans and demons will ever co-exist without trying to strangle each other. The love story is also a great addition to the great plot.

Dear is an on-going manga with 5 volumes translated so far. So far, the manga is a very interesting read. I find myself laughing most of the time. Dear will not disappoint.

Dear Kitteh:  I’m glad you were concerned when I stubbed my toe the other night.  Was there a reason you promptly climbed on the counter and popped me on the head?

Like I said…I’m getting back into Japanese music now =P I think partly it’s because kpop’s starting to have way too much autotune for my taste. ANYWAY, the singer I want to recommend is Kana Nishino. I’ve followed her since her debut (February 2008), and I think hardly any of her songs have disappointed me. I like her music more and more now. Her debut songs weren’t as much to my taste, but now, I’m really digging her music. She used to sing more pop-like songs, but now she has more of a ballad and RnB vibe. Most recently she came out with a single called ‘motto…’ and she’ll be coming out with a new single called ‘Dear…/maybe’ that’ll be released on the 2nd of December. She’s a pretty girl with a pretty voice ^^ The MV for ‘Dear…’ was released a few days ago, and it’s such a cute MV. And I don’t mean cute like ‘yay happy cheerful whee’.

Honestly, give this girl’s music a try. She just gets better and better.

Dear Kitteh:

I am not a bridge.  Therefore when I am using the bathroom, brushing my teeth, bending over, or in the shower, it is not necessary to treat me so.  It’s also not necessary to perch on my back.  Although I don’t mind giving you the occasional “free kitty ride”, I do mind when I’m late to work or cooking.
