Imagine that: Someone commits a sin, and then he or she is excused from it because they “didn’t know” that it is forbidden by God. Seriously.

I cannot fathom the logic of this point of view because this selected few acknowledge a God, but they refuse to read the bible because the little they know, the less they will be penalized for. That’s just crazy to me. It seems worse than those who wait until the 11th hour to repent.

Still, I post them, knowing that not everyone will read them, but in the hopes that the one who needs to see it will.  There are a great many fine and wonderful people in the blogging community with a lot of valuable things to say, and there are many who I consider as close as family.  I’m sure that you feel this way about some of the people you’ve met as well.

Then, sad to say, there are some I’ve met and come across that aren’t in that category.  As you know I don’t mention names, and try as hard as I can not to give any reference to so as not to bias anyone.  Nobody deserves to have their character maligned by another.  I’ve always believed that the individual should be allowed to reserve that right for themselves by their own words and actions.  I’ve never needed anybody’s help in acting the fool.  You’d be amazed at how clever I’ve been in the past at doing that for myself!   My point is that most people don’t need your help in that department.

Saying this leaves me in a quandary.  What do you do when you see someone doing something that you know is wrong.  For the sake of moving this along I’ll qualify this by saying not wrong in the legal sense, but in the moral sense.  I know this opens a huge can of worms for a lot of people who want to question what morality is, and who gets to define it, and all that, so I’m going to make it easy.  Wrong in how I view wrong as defined by the “Word of God” and God, Himself.  So there.  Now it’s in a context that can be somewhat understood.

I could say what it was, and who’s doing it, and be done with it.  Just plop a name out there,  state they’re wrong, and let the chips fall where they may.  After all I’m a human being, over 21 (way over), and live in a democracy with the liberty of free speech (for a while longer I hope), and don’t we all have the right to express anything we want, at any time,  for any reason, without having to prove that what we’re saying is true?  Caught me, didn’t you?  You’re thinking I’m not as smart as I think I am, and you’re right.    Guess what?  You aren’t either…

I’m capable of being misled, and so are you.  So back to my point, what do you do when you see someone doing something you know is wrong?  Well, I could confront them, but confronting someone who’s intentionally doing wrong, doesn’t work.  You’ve all at one time or another caught someone in a lie, and you know what they do.  They either deny, or attack, and neither one gets you any closer to your ultimate goal which hopefully is to stop the wrong being done.  So what to do…

Well, if you’re me…you do this…

There are false teachers in this world who are in the business of deception.  They sound very wise, and on the surface sound like they know what they are talking about.  You must know that anyone can use Scripture to make it say or teach anything they want it to.  Please, please, please… be very careful in joining or participating in any online Bible study.  You must, and I repeat, must be diligent in learning the Bible for yourself.  The best commentary on the Bible is the Bible.  Never, and I repeat,  never, just take someone’s word as being a proper interpretation of Scripture without looking to see what the Bible says about it.  I’ve yet to find a teaching in the Bible that wasn’t confirmed or made reference to in another part of the Bible.  The Old Testament and the New Testament are linked and intertwined often referencing and commenting on each other.  Please take the time to learn for yourself.  Do your homework…

Any teacher of the Word of God who is truly called by God to do so is going to be more than willing to listen to your concerns, to prayerfully, thoughtfully and carefully consider and answer your questions, and will refer you to other people and sources of information that may help to clarify any questions you may have… Beware of anyone who claims to have a special revelation from God or a new teaching on something, or who tries to tell you that only they know the truth…

Understand…I did not say not to join or participate.  There is much to be gained from learning in a group setting, but you must not let yourselves be lulled into a false sense of security.  Study, ask questions, challenge those in leadership.  Good teachers will welcome and benefit from close examination…

But to enjoy the freedom of which we speak, there must be a measure of peace, built on the Founders’ “self-evident truths” … based on the belief that “all men (and women) are created equal” and because of that equality, we each have been endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights.

momentous words. I am not a philosopher and hope not to lead us astray but we must pursue this discussion. Unless we have some grasp of their meanings, how will we know if a tyrant or deceiver is taking them away? We recognize their preciousness but that is not enough.

Let us begin with rights. The only inalienable rights the Founders stated were: 1) the right to life, 2) the right to liberty (freedom), and 3) the right to pursue your own happiness. Any or all of these could be taken away for just cause (e.g., violation of the law). But we were endowed by our Creator with those basic rights.

You might ask about the people who don’t accept the idea of a Creator God—do they have those same inalienable rights? We won’t go deep here, other than to say that they have a very different idea as to what the purpose of government is. Rather than acknowledge a higher authority, atheists believe that man himself is sovereign and that government is subordinate to the people. They believe man endows himself with inalienable rights. This would mean that morals, standards, and values are regulated by the individual conscience or collective agreement. Hence, variable standards of right and wrong.

It seems clear that the Founders were primarily God-believers, simply based on how they wrote the Constitution. The Declaration goes on to say that “to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men …”

If our government fails us, as it did for those under the thumb of King George III, we should assume the right to change that government. Which they did, at great cost to themselves. We are the beneficiaries of that cost.

‘How Britain created the ‘Tibetan issue‘

Tibet is part of China, and the Tibetan people are important members of the Chinese nation.The so-called Tibetan issue was manufactured as part of the imperialist aggressors’ attempts to carve up China. Britain, through its continuous involvement, has played a central role in this.

British troops invaded Tibet in 1888 and 1903, but were turned back by the resistance of theTibetan army and civilians. After their failure to turn Tibet into a colony through armed aggression, British imperialists started to foster pro-imperialist separatists in Tibet, plotted activities to separate Tibet from China and trumpeted “independence for Tibet”. In August1907, Britain and Russia signed the Convention between Great Britain and Russia on Tibet. With this convention, Britain planned to turn Tibet into a “buffer zone” between India andRussia.

The Revolution of 1911 toppled the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). In 1913, the British government engineered the Simla Conference to instigate the Tibetan representative to raise the slogan of”Tibetan independence” for the first time, which was immediately rejected by the representative from the central government of the Republic of China. The British representative then introduced the so-called compromise scheme, attempting to change China’s sovereignty overTibet into “suzerainty” and separate Tibet from the authority of the Chinese government under the pretext of “autonomy”. Upon instruction, the representative of the central government refused to sign the Simla Convention and made a statement saying that the government of China refused to recognize any such agreement or document.

Starting from 1947, with the independence of India, Pakistan and other Southeast Asia nations, Britain’s colonial empire began to collapse. Also, recognizing the fact that Britain’s international stature was declining, the British government began to adopt new approaches toward Tibet. First, it refused to recognize China’s sovereignty over Tibet and only recognized that China had”a special position in Tibet”. For many years, Britain remained the only major Western country that didn’t recognize China’s sovereignty over Tibet. Second, it continued to instigate”independence”. Even after Tibet’s peaceful liberation, MI6 sent agents disguised as travelers to Tibet. London became the “base camp” for organizations promoting “Tibet’s independence”.Third, British politicians continue to meet with the Dalai Lama. In 1991, then prime minister John Major met with the Dalai Lama, setting a precedent for his successors to follow. On May 14, 2012, according to this so-called common practice, incumbent Prime Minister David Cameronand Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg met with the Dalai Lama once again in London.

The “Tibet issue” is purely an issue invented by Britain. But a lie told one thousand times eventually becomes believable. That’s why there are a handful of people who still think that Tibet remains an “issue”.

But a lie is a lie. The fact that Tibet is part of the People’s Republic of China can never be changed. Britain can only avoid isolation if it follows the global trend of recognizing and accepting this fact. Fortunately, Britain is gradually realizing this.

In October 2008, then Foreign Secretary David Miliband said in a written statement to then British Parliament that Britain does not support “Tibet’s independence”, and that Tibet is part ofthe People’s Republic of China.

The statement resolved the last remaining historical issue between China and Britain. Yet even so, there are still people who continue to see this late-coming decision as a major loss for Britain. These people need to give up their colonial mentality and imperialist arrogance.

Britain needs to reflect on its behavior and win the trust of the Chinese people. To do so, it should take real action and send the right signals. Only then will the Chinese people forgive what it did in Tibet.

We all know the story of Adam and Eve and if not it can be found in Genesis 2:4  and  Genesis 3.

Personally, I think the devil has used this story to draw a line between men and women. Which by the way was not God’s plan. We were created for each other to love each other. The helper and the provider.

Many times we have often tried to pin the blame on one person for the fall of man.. First we say, ‘it is satan’s fault because he tempted them’, then we say, ‘well no it was Eve’s fault; if she wouldn’t have ate and then gave it to Adam…’, then some even say, ’well it is Adam’s fault if he wouldn’t have eaten the fruit then God would have had mercy…’.

Even in the Garden you can clearly see that each was quick to place the blame on each other…

I Thessalonians 5:22 ABSTAIN FROM ALL APPEARANCE OF EVIL.

This scripture, warns us, to be careful.  That our conduct, can be analyzed, questioned, and judged, by others.  And yes, by God.

That what we do, can be determined, as evil.  By the appearance, of our actions.  By inappropriate behavior.  What is appropriate behavior?

The dictionary gives this definition for appropriate ~ suitable or proper in the circumstances.  So, if behavior is inappropriate, it is unsuitable and improper in circumstances.  Which can be considered evil….

In our world today, there are not many rules of conduct, enforced, or communicated.  As far as what is proper, in the sense, which may be considered “morally” valuable.  Yes, there are laws, but unless, someone, is taught, from an early age of what is right and wrong, they will miss, the lessons of life, that can give a person, a sense of direction, in this area.

The grace of God, offers all of us, a way, to find direction, and wisdom, in this area.  His Holy word, the Holy Bible, will do that.

To give us, a standard, for living upright, and well.   For we are all sinners, and need Gods direction.  But, we have to want to find direction in this, by seeking God.

One cannot walk the fence, when it comes, to living life pure, and holy.  You cannot have one foot, in the worlds system, and one foot, claiming to be a Christian.  I can say this, because I did it.  And because I did it, I see so many Christians, who claim they are Christians, yet, they do not obey Gods laws.  They do not try to live life holy, they do not “abstain” from immoral behavior.

And I could tell someone, your sinning.  But, thats something, that really I pray, by even my writings, would bring truth.  Instead of me, confronting someone.  Judging.  I hate judgement.  But we hate sin too.  So, there is always a balance.  But, if we are Christians, if we believe, we have our own personal responsibility, to abstain from the appearance of evil.   To know what Gods word says.  We have to be aware, God sees….everything!

How does one expect to be blessed, if they or any of us, do not obey God, in these things?  Look, no one has to judge anyone in this, but if we judged ourselves, and stopped, and looked within, to see, to try, and do it right, we could.  There are many examples, but lets talk about relationships, in this.

Tonight, I was watching, a television documentary, where a woman, was accused of having inappropriate behavior, with a minor boy.  Of a sexual nature.  Whether or not it was true, only God knows.  And the two people involved, know.

But what I found interesting, was this woman, had by her own actions, produced, evidence, of being inappropriate.  By texting him, by being flirtatious, by being overly attentive to him, and by actually talking dirty to him.  She admitted it.  But when accused of having gone further in this, she denied it.  Claiming, his response, was misunderstood, and that she walked away.  I am sorry, but her signals was saying, lets sin.  This gave me, and every one else who saw it, an “appearance of evil.”

In this world, we live in, everyone is judging our responses.

And I have learned, at an early point, in any relationship, or acquaintance.  Be forthright, be honest, be sincere, but have morals, values, and integrity.  What you do in private, should also be what you do in public.  What is done in private, should not have to be ashamed in public.

In other words, if you have a guideline, or a standard to follow, you can maintain, a sense of right and wrong, to avoid, problems.  To avoid miscommunications.  To avoid, attracting the wrong people.  To avoid, evil.

What kind of signals are you sending out?  Everybody wants to have fun.  But we need to teach our children, this, we need to learn it ourselves.  And we must be on guard, in the sense, that we cannot always, just let our hair down, and go wild.  Being flirtatious, even though, being overly friendly, can be misinterpreted.  Opening any kind of door, that will let the devil in, is dangerous.

There are so many people, who have no concept, of right and wrong to begin with, that they can fall into trouble, because their conduct does look evil.  Thats the devils goal.  He wants people, to be misled, to be misinformed, to be caught unaware.

We must always, always, be in prayer, seeking God, seeking truth, seeking, the right way. Departing from evil.  Departing from evil doers.  Departing from things, that hinder us, from receiving blessings.  We must not do any one harm.  Yes, even with our words.

Maybe, no one taught you, good, or God, or anything, of integrity.  But if you have a mind, and a soul, and you can read, even as you are reading this, you can, know, without a doubt, God can guide you.  God can change you.  Go to His word, and again, I express, and recommend, the King James Bible.  Not any other version, where the words, are so changed, that the integrity, is compromised.  God does not stutter.  Neither should you.  In this life, we all live.  There are so many, ways, that the enemy deceives people.  God does not use a rubber sword, when He fights the enemy.  He says, IT IS WRITTEN!  We have to be sharp, the word of God, makes us sharper, than a two-edged sword, to fight off the enemy.  Thats why I am so adamant, about using the King James, and nothing else.  Because of the purity of the word.

All I know, is we have to seek God, and to be careful, in these last days, for Christ will return.  What are you playing with?  What are you dabbling in?  That is not of God?

God can turn you from evil, to His goodness.  Just stop, and turn from evil, and even the appearance of it.  And know, God’s wrath, will come.  It may not even be in this moment, as you read this.  But it will come.  Now can be a day, of reckoning.  Now can be a day, of making things right with God.  Yes, its a choice.  But one, I would choose, to the glory of God.  Abstain from all appearance of evil.  Whatever it is.  You know…..God has shown you.

Now you must take it to His throne.  Or regret it….

Father, deliver us from evil.  Help us to be mindful, in Christ, to watch our behavior.  To abstain from anything that offends you, or brings or opens the door to evil.  You do forgive, but we must come to you humble.  Turning away from sin.  Turning away from the devil.  Help us Lord, to see your truth, and to not be deceived by the enemy.  Lord, holiness, you call us to holiness.  Lord, whatever it is that the reader may be dealing, with, you can change it.  I know.  As a testimony, I know you are God.  But we have to see it, we have to bring it to your throne.  Lord, let us judge ourselves first, so we are not judged, by even the appearance of evil.  Help us Lord, in this, and make a way.  For Christ, is the way, the truth, and life.  In Jesus name.  Amen

Update:  May 2, 2011.  We went back to this church, yesterday,  after over a month.  I still do not know what the will is of the Lord for us, in this.  I never want to hurt anyone, by what I write.  Nor do I touch the anointed of God, by being critical.  I never mention this pastors name, or the church.  Yet, I have gotten some comments, some here, and in other places, that have been both, supportive, and critical of me in this.  I did enjoy the service. Last night. It was a worship service.  Maybe God wants us to return, and to pray for this church more.  It has so much potential, so does the pastor.  I just may be reacting also from past experiences.  Past hurts too.  So I am trying to be an open book here, for God to use me.  But, I know, prayer, will answer this, because I am not sure.  But I know God knows.  I trust God.  For myself, for my family.  For this church, for the pastor.  I trust God….  

Jeremiah 12:11 Many pastors have destroyed my vineyard, they have trodden my portion under foot, they have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness.  They have made it desolate and being desolate it mourneth unto me; the whole land is made desolate because no man layeth it to heart.

What happens, when a Pastor, does not have faith?  Or does not believe, in God, and His power, completely?  And speaks, against the fruit, the power of God?  Where even, the Holy spirit, is not tapped into….  Or where there is not Holy communion, in remembrance of Christ.  What happens, when pastors, get turned off?  And they share their disdain?

We have been attending, a lovely little church lately.  And so I want to be careful as I write this.  The pastor, is an excellent speaker, and his wife, a nice lady as well.  The church, is not too big, not too small.  And everybody, is so nice.  I want to extend some grace in this matter, because the pastor, did mention, that he was tired, physically, and that their was an illness, concerning, one of his children.

Now, we come from a charismatic, background, so we are kind of used, to seeing, the anointing flow, we are used, to seeing pastors, lay hands on people, and the Holy spirit, called upon, and where the church, the body of Christ, is expressive, and “hallelujah” is often said, with the raising of hands.

We have been attending, this church, I would say about four months.  And at first, I did not notice, this, but there is no holy communion, at the services, we attended.  No layng of the hands, no flow of the Holy Spirit.  etc.

Last Sunday, my husband, was not feeling good, physically, and spiritually.  He had been taking a new blood pressure medicine, and it really was a downer for him.  It depressed him, and my husband, is not easily, depressed.  He is consistent in his personality, and pretty happy, in his faith, etc.

Well, we went to church last weekend, and as I mentioned, the pastor, did mention, he was tired, and so that was good, that he expressed that, he needs, to vent, too, I am sure. But, do pastors have that luxury, when they have a congregation, who needs to hear the power and the word of God?

Anyway, as the service, progressed, his sermon, was on prayer, and he brought up some points, that he expressed, yet, because he was somewhat turned off, in these situations, he more or less, turned my husband off.

And when I think about it in retrospect, I am not sure what exactly his motive was.  But he was very negative.  Not at all positive, or trusting God, in His sermon.  Or the power anyway.  Because he kept, addressing, phonies.  Why?

I had my armor, on, so to speak, and I may have cringed a bit, but I did not know, that it frustrated, my husband so much, that this weekend, he did not want to go to church.  And he brought up, how depressed, he was feeling, but when this pastor, made his points, he said, I needed to hear, how all things are possible, with God, I needed hope, and this pastor basically, took my faith and my hope away.  So, he did not want to attend this weekend.  I was shocked.

And it just made me think, that some of us, are strong, in the Lord.  Some of us know, who we are,in Christ,  but some of us, are really searching, for God, in signs, and wonders, in the moving of the Holy Spirit.  But in any event, there are times, even those that know God, need to hear something positive, not negative.

Gods ways, are not our ways….

This pastor, again, I know, is an excellent speaker, but maybe because he was on a downer, himself, he did not realize, how he sounded.  His points, were negative, truthfully.  And I am sharing them, because, they were related to illness.

But you know what, I believe, by Christs stripes I am healed.  Isaiah 53:5.  I believe, that God, sent the word to heal us, and deliver us from destruction.  I believe, when I pray Jeremiah 17:14, Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed, save me, and I will be saved, for you are the only one, I will praise.  I have meditated, and prayed that word, believing, in the anointing.  The laying of hands.  It gives me hope…..but it reminds, me, God is not a man.  God is able.

And my husband needed, a word, because he was ill, but in relating this, I don’t know, if this pastor, saw this or not, but he diminished faith and hope, because of examples he had seen.  And shared with the congregation.  Why share these?

The four points that he shared, in our sermon notes were the following:

1.  The sensationalist – Show biz healers.

2.  The confessionalists – the name it and claim it crew

3.  The rationalist – an illness is in the mind.

$.  The realist – God can heal but does not always.

I guess, even as I read this, I know, he was trying to bring some balance.  To perhaps, be aware of these kind of situations, perhaps, where he has seen, phony people, or pastors, etc.

Yet, it reminded me, that when people are desperate, or hurting, they need to release their faith.  They need to have something to grasp onto, to help them through, their pain, or their fear, or an illness.

Yes, maybe some are phonies.  But should one throw away the faith and hope?  Because of the phonies?   What if it gives hope?  And let me clarify this, but how does one know they are phonies?  If God is using them?  If the word of God, is used?  If there is evidence, of Gods power?  Hope, is what we need, to get to God.  To have results.  To move God, we need to show Him, we have faith.

Yes those points, brought up the phonies, perhaps the characteristics.  But when I go to church, I don’t want to hear about phonies.  I want to hear about the power of God, and I never want to diminish it, in any form.  Because it brings a spirit of doubt.

I have struggled, as I mentioned in my last post, about my faith.  But not now. And I have had to stir myself up, by the word, by repentance, and by believing, by taking the word and applying it, and if we do not apply it, well, we can easily get in the zone of unbelief.

As most of you know, I am adamant, about using the King James Bible, for my faith.  I believe in the power of it, because it has not been tampered with.

But what happens, when people are searching, and they hear the pastor, from the pulpit, more or less, saying its “hocus pocus” when they see, pastors, have healing services, when pastors do that?  Well, they are human.

You know, I am always reminded, that the devil is the accuser, of the brethren.  And intellectuals, realists, and religion, pharisee spirits, will say, nope, thats wrong.  And I think, we all can do it, but we have to be careful, who we are relating to.  We have to be careful, not to turn people, off, because we are turned off.  Bringing a spirit of discouragement.  So, there could be a danger, in not pleasing God.  God says, faith pleases him.

You know, I come from a place, where my faith has grown.  I believe the scriptures, when God, says, all things are possible with him.   When I heard him, say these things, again, I kind of cringed, but I shook it off, because no one, is going to make me feel any different, when I know who I am in Christ.

Yet, my husband was ill.  I took authority, I prayed for my husband.  I gave him scriptures on healing.  I tried to remind him, that it was going to be o.k.  I stood in faith for him.  But it was a tough couple of weeks.  Now, thank God, he went to the doctor, and got a different, medication, for his blood pressure, and is back to normal.  But, he felt a little sad, that when he needed this word, this pastor, was preaching his sermon, from a point of himself, being, turned off.  And he left, that service, not being hopeful.

The pastor, had elders, come to the front, and he had them pray for people.  This was a first, to see, since, we have been there visiting.  But, he did not pray for the people.  And it makes you think, where is the authority, from the leader, the pastor of the church, if he will not pray for the people, and delegate it to the congregation members?  To be honest, it seemed odd.

My husband, did not go to the prayer intercessors.  Maybe, he would have, if the pastor, had prayed for the people.

Consequently, again, we did not go to church this weekend, which left me a little sad.  I hope, we will go back to that church.  But how can we, if we do not feel the prompting from God?  My husband is the spiritual leader, in this household.  And so I trust God and Him.  We have to pray about it.  Searching for churches, can be exhausting.  You want to feel the love, you want to feel, accepted, but you want to see the power, of God, working.  You want to feel the spirit, the Holy Spirit, because then you are basically, just going, but not receiving.  Yes, people can get turned, off, because the Pastor may be turned off.

I want to give this church another chance.  I know, how it feels, when people, won’t give me a chance.  I have been praying for this pastor, and this church.

But, I will trust God, together, with my husband, and son, and pray, God will guide us, where we can all get something, out of our searching for God, at church.  God only knows….but first and foremost, I want to be obedient, and I want to believe, in miracles, not put them down.  Even as I write, I want to close on a positive note, with God all things are possible.  Period.

A Prayer of Promise….

Lord, I changed my thinking lately, from hope, to claim your promises.  I want to be in an environment, where your word, is taught, in its purity.  And where the power of you our Lord, will be manifested, magnified, and brought to the light, for your glory.  Lord, please guide us.  Please guide us, to a church, where we can grow, but where your power, is revealed.  Where your Holy Spirit is.  Where there is more than hope, it is revealed by your promises.  Where love is.  We have not seen your love in too many places.  Lord, I don’t want phonies either, and I sure do not want to go somewhere, where you are not.  Lord, guide us.  Guide that pastor.  Such a lovely church father.  I don’t know, if that pastor, even seen what he was doing.  Or he just reacted by his own feelings.  Lord, when my feelings get in the way.  You have my permission, to kick in the door, and reveal your power, and that faith, will make things evident.  Because of who you are.  Thank you Lord.  I praise you and love you, and believe.  I believe, because of what Christ did on the cross.  No matter what.  I believe, in you.  In Jesus name.  Amen

Lets face it, though, Christians are NOT perfect.  But we need wisdom.  We need to know the will of the Lord.  We must seek Him.  There is a lost world out there, and we need to act like Christ would.  And not like the world.   Or we will not be effective, in winning the lost, to Christ.

And so as I write, this, I pray, to bring perspective, but not judgement.  Or to make anyone feel bad especially if they have made judgements about someone.  But there is a dilemma. The dilemma, between the wolf in sheep’s clothing, and the Anointed one.  How can we tell who is who?  What kind of fruit, should they display, so we can have discernment?

And I use the word discernment, because understanding from Gods perspective, is what we need.  Not judgement.  Because our ways, are not always Gods ways.

Judging, speaking, without, knowing real truth, with a negative slant, is judging to me.  Because one is making a “ruling” to sway, someone else, and their thoughts.  It is meant to change someones mind about another person.  It is meant, to persuade.  That what they are saying is right, correct, and they are wrong.  Or if not wrong, they don’t know, the real truth.  They are implying that they know…. the “real truth”.  So thats why they have to talk about it.  Hmmm.

I have been in ministry, for many years, and I have heard, many people, bring up another persons name, a pastor, or just a person, and they feel like they have to bring their thoughts, about that person.

And may I just stop here, and say here in love, when people do that, I do get a red flag, and I need God’s wisdom.  I also, try to also look at that person, with love, and not judgement.  That is bringing me this information.

Could it be a characteristic of the devil?  To gossip, in this?  And I am not calling that person a devil.  Because we do not wrestle with flesh, and blood, but with principlalities in high places.  Ephesians 6:11-12.  Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the “rulers” of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Theres that word again.  ”Rulers” trying to rule.

So, the devil will use someone, unknowingly, because they are unaware of the enemies tactics.  Or do they?  But it reminds me,  and I say this, because it has happened to me, as well, where people, have talked about me, and I know, that the devil, is the accuser of the brethren.

Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ:  for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.  

But I love this scripture, after it; And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.  Revelation 12:11.  A good place, to remind you, and me, we need to always, daily, apply the blood of Jesus, to defeat the enemy, along with repentance.  Humbleness, before the Lord, so He can build that hedge of protection around us.  Remember Moses, applied the blood, and God made a way, for their passover.  

My perspective is this, and I am not putting my head in the sand, but when I hear a negative report about someone, I put my guard on.  Because it is not my place to judge that person, and I say so.  So, then I get the person, on edge, and even offended, because they wanted to share the details.  And I don’t want to hear it……

I look at it this way, whether, it is true or not, its not my place to judge someone.  And when I usually hear it, it is about a high profile minister, or pastor, who has a lot of notoriety.

It is sad, but sometimes, other pastors, question the fruit?  When the Holy spirit is evident.  They call them phonies.  Why?  Because God is using them?  They judge them.  Again wrong.  We should all be seeking the Holy Spirit.  But thats why churches, are so different.  Because everyone, wants to pick and choose, instead of letting God, decide, in His house.

But, since, I don’t want to be a hypocrite in this, I have to be honest.  That the prosperity pastors, do get on my nerves.  Those who always ask for money.  Those who do not present the Salvation message, but are always asking for money.  Or their message, is about prosperity.  Even here again, though, I want to be careful.  Not to judge them, or to say anything about them.  Because God can change them.

I wrote in my last post, I do not want to limit God.  And I pray, that Pastors would not do that either.  But, even if your not comfortable with the Holy Spirit, don’t knock some other pastor, who has earned, His way, for the Holy spirit, to enter.  Yes, maybe he did make a mistake.  But maybe he repented.  Maybe, God forgave him.

Aren’t we all sinners, who are saved by grace?  We are all growing. On that vine, and if I can impress, that more then ever, to make us stop, and pray, and consider where we were, back then, maybe God would use us, and the anointing would be there.

But to criticize someone, seeing the fruit of God, and call it hocus pocus, is in my determination wrong.  Because we all need God.  We need to see Him manifested.  As signs and testimonies, for His glory.  Be careful in this.  Dear one.

And please, if you are reading this, and you have done this, don’t feel bad, because many people, have brought this same thing, and subject to me, about the same person.  I just want to say, I am not judging you.  Thats not my place.  Because you have brought it to me.

See, I am not getting in that trap, the devil, wants to set for you, or for me.  I pray, God give me wisdom, to know the antics of the enemy.  For even, the same persons….and believe me, I have heard stories, more then once.  So your not the only one, who has said this and that about a believer, or a pastor, or even a famous person, to me.  And I have probably told you the same thing.  ”It’s not my place to judge”  Whether its true or not.

Yes, it may even be true.  What you are saying, could very well be the truth, about someone.  But I have heard more people speak “truth” and destroyed, peoples character, with truth, that turns into “Character assasination.”  Do you want to stand before God for that?

So, I am very conscious, and careful, about this.  For, the scripture, warns us, and says.  Touch not my anointed.  I Chronicles 16:21-22.  He suffered no man to do them wrong yea, He reproved kings for their sakes.  Saying, touch not Mine anointed and do my prophets no harm.  

When you talk about Gods anointed one, with your words.  Not only are you doing them harm, but yourself.  Which one should take into great consideration.

I know, that the devil, has the intention, to use good, God fearing Christians, to get out of their love walk, and to judge.  And there are quite a few scriptures on this subject, but we are not supposed to be judging by what we see, but really with our Lords righteousness, that which I call discernment.  Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgement.  John 7:24.    

But the goal of the enemy is accomplishing a couple of things here, if anything.  One to get someone, out of their love walk, but to take their blessings away.  By being disobedient to God.

And I am praying here for wisdom, with grace.  Because I cannot fathom God in all His ways, I sense, when people do that, they open the door to the devil, for further, chaos.  It may bring a curse.  Because God says, He will bless those, who bless His people.  But He will curse those, who curse His people.  Genesis 12:3.

Thats law, but we live by Grace.  So, we need to extend grace, to other leaders, or people, who may be Gods anointed.    So, it still scares me to be honest, to talk about other people, to judge them.  To come against any child of God.

Do you ever notice, when I share something about someone, here, I never say their name?  I do that for a reason, because I do not want to hurt them.  I may use the example of what they say or do.  Even from others, who have hurt me.  But, I never, ever, identify someone by their name, and say, this is what they did.  Why?  Because I do not want to judge someone, for the very reason, that whatever they may have done, they are Gods children.

And here I will interject, if you have done this, and you know you have, go to Gods throne, and repent.  That will solve it, and give you wisdom.

Now concerning discernment.  About a wolf in sheeps clothing, gee this is tough.  But I want to extend grace.  Do I identify them?  Thats up to you.  Not me.  And there are so many misguided Christians, who listen to a Christian leader, and they liked that person.  But then heard a bad word, and just judged them.

I know, I have, liked someone, yet, heard things about them, but it did not sway me.  And I could be wrong.  But I pray, if I err, I err, on the side of love.

And the rule of thumb, I try to always use, and again with grace.  Is what they are saying?  Is it based on the word of God?  And as everyone knows, I look at the kind of word, they are using, is it based on the King James Bible?  It is subjective.  One must have that discernment.  To the objective of God.  And I don’t want to be legalistic, in this stance. For, God can use anything, to teach someone, but the purity, to me, should be from the King James, because it has not been corrupted, by mens hands.  Thats just the way I feel.  But that is between you and God.  For yourself, I will just stop and say, pray about it. Ask God.  What Bible you should use?

In any event, to further this, to bring this to a closing…..With understanding, are they taking just part of Gods word, and not giving the full gospel?  Leaving the Holy spirit out?  Limiting God?  You need to see, what the leader is presenting.  But before you talk about them.  I wisely, recommend, pray about it.  Go to God.  We cannot lift people, on such a high pedestal, that when they fall, from grace, that we quit seeking God.  Thats just wrong.  We cannot, look at them as perfect.  Because they are not.  I am not.  I know, I am not.  But that makes me humble.

So, when I look at someone, I try to look at their fruit.  The fruit, that God, over, and over identifies, as someone who is righteous in his sight.  Yet knowing again, we all sin, we all come short of the glory of God.  When people think they are beyond that, again, it is a characteristic of the devil.  Pride.  So, when I see pride in a leader.  I walk away…….

For they are being self-righteous.  Self-righteous people, scare me to be honest.  Because its like they think they are beyond, any kind of correction, and will just slam your thoughts to the ground.  Because they believe, they know better.  So I just avoid people like that.

I think it can be a simple format, to follow, for discernment.  If you are faced with a dilemma like that.  Because even though, we may and are called to love all people.  You do not want to subject yourself, to religion.  Or to mens opinions.  Or again, wolves in sheep’s clothing.  Remember the scripture that says.  Test the spirit.  To see if they are of Christ.  I John 4:1  Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

You need to remember, God says, let no man deceive you.  And that can be a woman too. Matthew 24:24.  For there shall arise false Christ’s and false prophets; and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

WARNING, WARNING, WARNING…..Let no man deceive you with vain words:  for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.  Be not ye therefore partakers with them.  For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord; walk as children of light.  Ephesians 5:6-8.  I would read the rest of this chapter.  Because we do need to know.  We need to be careful.

 You have to pray.  And I recommend praying, before you talk about someone.  You have to see what is this persons ministry based on?  I know a lot of people, have specialty ministries, but if they leave out the truth, the gospel, and they water it down, either by their doctrine, or by simply picking and choosing, what they want.  I don’t go for it.  No matter how charismatic, they may seem, charming, etc.  Even if they are nice to me.

I have to know, what God says.  So, I am careful.  To remember, again, the devil is the accuser, but what does God say.  I have to know what God says more then anybody.  Because He is the one we need to please.  We have to be very, very careful, in these last days.  I know I do, more then ever.  I just sense it.  How about you?  Do you know, how to have peace, in the dilemma between the Christian, who is anointed?  And the wolf in Sheep’s clothing?

If you have any ideas, about this, please share.  Words of wisdom, guidance.  But please do not mention anybodies name here, for I will not allow it to be posted.  Whether they are a wolf in sheeps clothing or not.  My objective, is to bring understanding.  To bring God into this, so we don’t make a big mistake.  Remembering as I close…..as the reminder.  Touch not His anointed.  God will take care of that wolf in sheeps clothing.  For God is not mocked.

And for the record, I will say, I hate sin.  I do not condone, someone who sins, just because, to be honest, I have not seen it, where I had to identify it or someone.  In the body of Christ.  But I do not wink my eye, at the ugly deeds of darkness, from anyone.  Especially, if I saw, it was hurting someone.  But I am not a judge.  I just pray, I never have to point the finger, and say, to someone, or that about someone.  Its always a choice.  One must do, what they have to do.  If God, instructs them.  So, I will close with that.

And as I close, I hope you will forgive me, if I wrote about this, and you somehow or another feel betrayed, because you have shared something, about someone, and I did not want to get caught up in it, and I am writing about this subject.  It is never my intention, to hurt any one.   But I do see, the dilemma, in this……

Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.  Luke 6:37.

Father, we are human, we make mistakes.  All of us do.  Including me.  How easy, it is for us to get caught up in gossip.  Sometimes, unknowing.  Sometimes, listening to someone, and not stopping them, from sharing.  Lord, I do not want to be a hypocrite.  For when we listen, we are a part of it too.  And sometimes, yes, saying, tell me more.  Oh Lord, forgive me, if I have been a part of judging someone.  I know, I have hated, it, when I was judged.  Yet, Father, we need wisdom.  We need guidance, to know, the difference, between the wolf in sheep’s clothing, and your anointed ones.  Because there are deceivers.  Those who come in your name, and hurt your people.  Lord, we really need discernment.  I know, prayer, I know your word, will bring insight to us.  Testing by your word.  Help us, help the body of Christ.  Because, sometimes, it seems like it goes way over board, and even Christian leaders, are a part of the judging in this.  Oh God, it scares me, to be honest right now.  In fear of you.  Help us to walk in love with one another.  So, we do not reap curses.  But blessings, prompt us, to walk in love, to be kind with our words, to be prayerful, before we talk about people.  I have seen so many situations, where people spill the beans about someone, and hurt them, deeply.  Change us Lord, to be like Christ in this matter.  In Jesus name.  Amen

A song, to soften our hearts in love, as we seek our Lord.

It was not all Rush Limbaugh’s fault, mind you.  Conservatives came out in droves to decry how shameful it was that this you woman wanted tax payers to pay for her to behave immorally.  The gall, the audacity of that!

Of course, she was not actually asking for tax payers to fund for her having sex.  In fact, she did not even really focus on herself at all.  Instead, she spoke about…you know… reproductive health issues:

These denials of contraceptive coverage impact real people. In the worst cases, women who need this medication for other medical reasons suffer dire consequences. A friend of mine, for example, has polycystic ovarian syndrome and has to take prescription birth control to stop cysts from growing on her ovaries. Her prescription is technically covered by Georgetown insurance because it’s not intended to prevent pregnancy. Under many religious institutions’ insurance plans, it wouldn’t be, and under Senator Blunt’s amendment, Senator Rubio’s bill, or Representative Fortenberry’s bill, there’s no requirement that an exception be made for such medical needs. When they do exist, these exceptions don’t accomplish their well-intended goals because when you let university administrators or other employers, rather than women and their doctors, dictate whose medical needs are legitimate and whose aren’t, a woman’s health takes a back seat to a bureaucracy focused on policing her body.

In sixty-five percent of cases, our female students were interrogated by insurance representatives and university medical staff about why they needed these prescriptions and whether they were lying about their symptoms. For my friend, and 20% of women in her situation, she never got the insurance company to cover her prescription, despite verification of her illness from her doctor. Her claim was denied repeatedly on the assumption that she really wanted the birth control to prevent pregnancy.She’s gay, so clearly polycystic ovarian syndrome was a much more urgent concern than accidental pregnancy. After months of paying over $100 out of pocket, she just couldn’t afford her medication anymore and had to stop taking it. I learned about all of this when I walked out of a test and got a message from her that in the middle of her final exam period she’d been in the emergency room all night in excruciating pain. She wrote, ‘It was so painful, I woke up thinking I’d been shot.’ Without her taking the birth control, a massive cyst the size of a tennis ball had grown on her ovary. She had to have surgery to remove her entire ovary. On the morning I was originally scheduled to give this testimony, she sat in a doctor’s office. Since last year’s surgery, she’s been experiencing night sweats, weight gain, and other symptoms of early menopause as a result of the removal of her ovary. She’s 32 years old. As she put it: ‘If my body indeed does enter early menopause, no fertility specialist in the world will be able to help me have my own children. I will have no chance at giving my mother her desperately desired grandbabies, simply because the insurance policy that I paid for totally unsubsidized by my school wouldn’t cover my prescription for birth control when I needed it.’ Now, in addition to potentially facing the health complications that come with having menopause at an early age— increased risk of cancer, heart disease, and osteoporosis, she may never be able to conceive a child.

Perhaps you think my friend’s tragic story is rare. It’s not. One woman told us doctors believe she has endometriosis, but it can’t be proven without surgery, so the insurance hasn’t been willing to cover her medication. Recently, another friend of mine told me that she also has polycystic ovarian syndrome. She’s struggling to pay for her medication and is terrified to not have access to it. Due to the barriers erected by Georgetown’s policy, she hasn’t been reimbursed for her medication since last August. I sincerely pray that we don’t have to wait until she loses an ovary or is diagnosed with cancer before her needs and the needs of all of these women are taken seriously.

This is not the “I want your tax dollars to pay for me to have sex” that Limbaugh and so many hosts/guests on Fox painted it out to be.  It is, in fact, about… Women’s Health.

This is the message that not requiring coverage of contraception sends. A woman’s reproductive healthcare isn’t a necessity, isn’t a priority. One student told us that she knew birth control wasn’t covered, and she assumed that’s how Georgetown’s insurance handled all of women’s sexual healthcare, so when she was raped, she didn’t go to the doctor even to be examined or tested for sexually transmitted infections because she thought insurance wasn’t going to cover something like that, something that was related to a woman’s reproductive health. As one student put it, ‘this policy communicates to female students that our school doesn’t understand our needs.’ These are not feelings that male fellow students experience. And they’re not burdens that male students must shoulder.

In the media lately, conservative Catholic organizations have been asking: what did we expect when we enrolled at a Catholic school? We can only answer that we expected women to be treated equally, to not have our school create untenable burdens that impede our academic success. We expected that our schools would live up to the Jesuit creed of cura personalis, to care for the whole person, by meeting all of our medical needs. We expected that when we told our universities of the problems this policy created for students, they would help us. We expected that when 94% of students opposed the policy, the university would respect our choices regarding insurance students pay for completely unsubsidized by the university. We did not expect that women would be told in the national media that if we wanted comprehensive insurance that met our needs, not just those of men, we should have gone to school elsewhere, even if that meant a less prestigious university. We refuse to pick between a quality education and our health, and we resent that, in the 21st century, anyone thinks it’s acceptable to ask us to make this choice simply because we are women.

The shame here was not that Barack Obama called Fluke to congratulate her on a bold stand.  The shame here was not that Sandra testified before a committee on reproductive health regarding coverage of birth control by insurance providers.  The real shame was that Conservatives loudly stood up on the wrong side of the issue and claimed their wrong headedness and willingness to spread lies and misinformation about what Fluke actually said as a virtue.

Add to the confusion the fact that many of us continue to live our adult Christian lives using the insights and conclusions we gathered during our childhood. We determine our worth, our value and the current status of our “love-ability” based on these subconscious conclusions made as children.

As a result, many of us take a moral inventory of our spiritual lives only to come up agreeing with condemnation, that we didn’t do it right, don’t love God enough and maybe aren’t even saved! We spend our lives moderating the debate that goes on in our minds and emotions to determine if we are trusting God enough, sincerely convinced in our hearts and really born again.

We grew up in performance-based conditioning that caused us to believe that whatever was happening in our world was ”all up to me” and if anything went wrong, “it was my fault”. “I’ve got to do it right”, “be good”, and “figure it out” in order to be “okay”. And though this blog is not a clever justification for sin and reckless abandon of moral absolutes, the “it’s up to me” gospel has created a deep and serious challenge to the Gospel of grace. Failure to embrace the Gospel of grace has widened the separation between us and our merciful heavenly Father, and is creating  a growing number of neurotic Christians.

Confusion and condemnation are spreading like a contagious disease among unsuspecting believers who rewrite the Gospel of God from “Done” back to ”Do”. Confusion around the Bible’s declaration that ”it is finished!” has exchanged the absolutes of the final and  finished Gospel of Jesus Christ for one of powerless uncertainty. This unfinished Gospel allows the Enemy’s to constantly accuse us that we are never quite good enough or certain that God’s acceptance of us is unconditional.

Things  like “I have to , I should, I need to, or I feel like I have to keep myself in line, or “I feel like I have to choose the right thing”, bind us in the constant fear of NOT choosing the right thing. And if our salvation all comes back to and rests upon us and our choosing the right thing, the entire work of the Cross rests, not upon the Word of God or the Blood of Jesus, or upon the Faithfulness of God to pay the penalty for sin and buy us back, but upon our ability to choose rightly!

Was this not the very foundation upon which the Law was built? Putting the work of redemption back on us puts the work of Christ in jeopardy of being undermine and cancelled out by the choices I make. How devious! How arrogant! How clever of the Enemy who knows he cannot erase or undo or remove the Word of God or the Work of Christ, to make them both subject to my performance, my feelings, and my choices.

Does not Paul in Romans 6,7,and 8 make it abundantly clear that we were slaves of sin, programmed to sin, controlled by the sinful lusts and cravings of sin that war in our members? As he writes is it not clear that  he was experiencing these same powers controlling the members of his own flesh? And that they were controlling him in spite of his love of God’s Law and his will (intention) to follow it?

Simply repeating the “try harder” cliches of taking personal responsibility to be more diligent and self-disciplined did not resolve the dilemma. The insidious entrapment opened Paul’s eyes to the need for deliverance which causes him to cry out, “O wretched man that I am, Who will deliver me from this body of death?” (Rom. 7:24). “

The good thing he wanted to do he did not do; the bad things he did NOT want to do, he found himself doing. (Rom. 19). Observing and basing his conclusion upon his will and intention to love and want God instead of the bad and unruly behavior that he saw going on in his members caused him to conclude that “it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells IN me.” (Rom. 7:20).

Paul immediately stopped trying to be good or control his behavior or condemn himself for not being able to be good or control his behavior or stop the war going on inside of him. In stead, he stopped it by crying out to God for deliverance from the grip of the body of death – the operating software from Hell – that was running in his soul. He realized he could not deliver himself by good works or by trying harder to stop sinning. It was not up to him to deserve or prove or complete the work of the Cross. All he could do was cry out for “deliverance”.

Even evidence of sin and the presence of the battle that continued raging within him were not able to persuade him that the Cross and the Salvation it secured were lost. There is NOW therefore, no condemnation to “those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. (Rom. 8:1).

Walking in the Spirit make us immune to the ongoing blasts of Satan that debate our position in Christ based upon our performance or our feelings. Condemnation is a feeling. As a feeling it is often used by Hell to frighten the sheep into believing they are not safe, okay, or saved. It creates a low grade anxiety in the souls of those who would follow Christ.  In searching for relief from the uncertainty, they turn aside from following the commands of the Good Shepherd, into the pastures of religious performance, legalism, and self-doubt.

These little sheep become caught up in trying to be their own shepherd. They base their love for God on how well they think or feel they are doing (performance). When we try to please God by keeping the Law to be holy and judge our progress by how we feel we are bound to fall into condemnation!

When we base our salvation or run our relationship with God through our minds (thinking) or through our hearts (emotions) we  give the Enemy all kinds of opportunities to hurt and confuse and condemn and strip us of our authority as believers.

If Satan can get me to doubt, or second guess, or believe that the work of Jesus Christ is dependent upon me, or how I feel, or how I am doing , or on what kind of choices I am making, then he had slipped a noose around my neck to drag me back into the pit of despair. If all I do is spend the rest of my saved life being drug around by Satan what good am I to myself or what profit will it be to Christ?

If the devil can get me to agree with him, he then has the power to control me. If I let him get by with speaking words through my mind and out of my mouth that I do not “take captive” ( II Cor.10:3-5), if I do not “resist him” (jam. 4:7) he will not flee. The Enemy is a wiley foe and a master deceiver. He is the author of confusion and his strategy is to divide and conquer.

He desires to control you. If he can “set you up in opposition to yourself”, (II Tim. 2 25  KJV)  by getting you to monitor your feelings and your behaviors, he can divide you and set you up against your own self.

He deceives you into sinning. He then uses the evidence of the sin you just committed as proof that you disobeyed God. He then has you read some scripture that he can reinterpret as condemnation to get you to question or worry about your love for God. “If you love Me, keep My commandments.”  (Jn.14:15) gets re-framed and the Enemy begins to condemn you for not loving God enough because you sinned.

Our sinning gives the Enemy an opportunity to discuss ways we could improve which opens up the way to bring striving on board to more closely monitor our life in God. This sets the stage for condemnation to come in and creates a vicious circle of try harder-never good enough that leaves us  always wondering if God really loves us. God’s love becomes conditional and grace must be earned!

The only way this vicious cycle can be broken is by Abiding in Christ! This revelation changes everything, including our vigorous and sketchy attempts to be good, make right choices and follow God. And if we add to this folly, the notion that we can assess our current state of holiness and acceptability with God based on how we feel, we  have handed the appropriation of the Work of the Cross and its power to save, over to Satan!

“Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lusts of the flesh” (Gal. 5:16). If we “Walk in the Spirit” we will not give Satan the opportunity to use our souls to debate the work of Christ being done in us through His Holy Spirit. “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit” (Rom. 8:1). We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works. (Eph. 2:10). Know that you know that and you will live an abundant and meaningful life in Christ.

The explanation given was vague.This may have been the reason why; his daughter, Brittany Koper, former TBN CFO, is accusing the world’s largest religious broadcaster of diverting over 50 million dollars from charitable assets to the company’s directors.

I have tried to convince many a Charismatic that this network is full of wolves. Yet I guess the only way they will ever wake up, is for the Lord to regenerate them. For scripture is plain that many shall come trying to deceive the elect and will not be able to do it.

They worry about globalisation and organised crime*, [*L] and they do not, at present, see Europe giving a credible response. If we answer these concerns Europe will strengthen and we need a strong Europe to bolster the strength of individual nations. It is those who believe in Europe most who should be ‘the most ardent advocates at changing it’. The European budget shouldn’t be separate from that debate but part of it, and it is that debate which we will look forward to, in our presidency”.

“But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! ⁹As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!” -Galatians 1:8-9

Throughout the New Testament this is a theme that is touched on again and again. It testifies to the fact that we need to beware of false teaching and not tolerate a manipulation of the Gospel, and of Christ. Therefore, if anyone adds or subtracts from the word, even in the name of Christ, let us distance ourselves.

The importance of this cannot be understated. This is emphasized by means of the repetition used by Paul, for he states it twice by not only reiterating the infallible nature of the Gospel, but also stating, again twice, “let him be eternally condemned.” This shows how we should respond when such a person invades the body. He should be severed from the body, for that by this amputation of the infected part, the contagion may not spread to the rest of the Body, causing sickness and death by the entrapping of many.

It is not that such people cannot come to the cross, but they often don’t want to, as is suggested by their conforming the true Christ into a false form fitting Christ which suits them. Rather than letting the Potter mold their minds and hearts through His word, they mold His word to accommodate the desires of their hearts. They are not ignorant as they may seem and they can’t stand alone with their invalid convictions. Thus, they are great deceivers, and in the manner of the ancient alchemists, they take a lowborn conception of Christ, which they had to begin with, and by means of a philosophers stone of lies and deceit, strive to forge it into something noble in the sight of man, to solidify and add justification for their indulgences by the sheer number of their followers alone. There are also those false teachers who profess a watered down Christ as a means to acquire capital, and these are equally as dangerous and false.

Beware of false teachers and the false Jesus they preach, for Christ could not have done what He did unless He was exactly who He said He was. If Christ was any different, as is advocated by those who look to deceive and tear our faith asunder, then our faith would be meaningless. Yet, Christ was torn asunder so that by our faith we would become steadfast, develop a relationship with the Lord, and that through this we may be reconciled to God.
