I’m finally having a life experience that most people have at either 18 or 22 years old… I guess I’m a little late… I’m finally going to live alone for the first time! The apartment is found, the lease is signed, & the boxes are being filled.

And the walls are TURQUOISE. Oh yeah.

Painting was a bigger undertaking than I expected, it’s just a little studio apartment after all. turns out the panels have a vertical stripe indent, so a simple roller doesn’t cut it. Also it takes aproximately 1 hour to tape the border, yet only 3 minutes to take it down. And I’m the messiest painter ever, notice the toes. But it’s done & it’s beautiful! I need to stock up on purple accessories for the living room corner.

Here’s a “before” shot so you can see the whole thing. There’s also a lot of storage in the basement so that’ll help on space a LOT.

It’s not much, but it’s MINE. All mine!
