Pela última vez o Vasco jogou uma partida de Série B no Rio de Janeiro. E levantou uma taça, entregue pela CBF. Infelizmente o resultado não foi o que os cruzmaltinos queriam. Mas, pouco importa a derrota por 1 a o para a Portuguesa. Importa mesmo é que só faltam 90 minutos para o fim do martírio da Segunda Divisão.

A partida só valeu para que o zagueiro Dedé pudesse ser observado. Sinceramente, não entendi porque Dorival Júnior entrou com todos os titulares que ele tinha a disposição. Mesmo perdendo em qualidade técnica, o time ganharia em disposição com atletas querendo ganhar espaço. Sem jogadores afim de correr, o Vasco só mostrou interesse pela partida depois de tomar o gol de Fellype Gabriel.

A entrega da taça foi o ponto alto deste sábado

Então, como Dedé foi o único testado, vamos as considerações: contra um ataque bem fraquinho, ele se apresentou bem. Teve alguns problemas de posicionamento e de saída de bola. Mas, foi muito bem no jogo aéreo, e lutou muito. Sem querer ser precipitado na análise, me pareceu um jogador com mais potencial do que o Vílson, por exemplo. Para mim, ele pode permanecer em 201o.

Senti falta de outras mexidas no time. No fim, Coutinho e Aloísio entraram sem mostrar muita coisa. O jogo acabou e a galera gritou o que o Vasco é: campeão! Isso é o que importa! Agora que venha o Ipatinga, jogo em que, por ironia do destino, podemos terminar o ano rebaixando alguém.

Elevii cercului de dans al Şcolii “Elf” au participat alături de coregrafii lor, Dede şi Freetzy de la Clubul Boemdance, la concursul de dans modern organizat în cadrul Festivalului Green StudCard de la Cluj-Napoca. Nu numai că au participat, dar s-au şi clasat pe locul I,  întorcându-se de la concurs cu trofeul festivalului!!  Felicitări!!

I found something that catch my breath this morning. And again I found it on youtube. Loveholic “Butterfly”, I like the song so I search on google for this one. I remember the first time I listen to Loveholic, it’s when I watch Spring Waltz a Korean dramas, there was an ending song called “One Love”, a beautiful melody and an angelic voices.

I found some articles about on POPSEOUL, “Loveholic is notable for having a lot of their music featured in movies (200 Pound Beauty) and drama soundtracks (My Name is Kim Sam Soon, Coffee Prince, etc). Their musical style leans toward soft-rock and folk-esque ballads, with polished arrangements and penetrating lyrics. Their sound is very clean and simple with an air of sophisticated. Loveholic featured three members: Kang Hyun-min on main guitar, Lee Jae-hak on bass, and Ji-sun as the featured vocalist. Hyun-min and Jae-hak were experienced music producers, and after deciding to create Loveholic in 2002, they held auditions for the singer and found Ji-sun, who was a vocalist in the underground music scene. In 2007, however, Ji-sun decided to leave the group. In the meantime, the remaining members of Loveholic changed their name to “Loveholics” and produced the single “Butterfly” that featured the vocal talents of fellow Fluxus artists in late 2008. Recently, it has been announced that actress Shin Min-ah, who sang in the movie (no one really watched, despite it looking really promising) “Go Go 70,” will be the featured vocalist for Loveholics next single “Miracle Blue.” As it looks so far, Loveholics will be a project group with different featured artists.”

  But no matter what happen to the group, still love this song, and have powerfull lyrics. Maybe it will be an anthem song for me now..

Nate Silver, the Nostradamus of Statistics and Polls

538/Nate Silver—The outcome of all seven contests that we were tracking tonight appears settled, or very nearly so:

Virginia Governor: Republican Bob McDonnell wins by 17 points, toward the upper end of the range predicted by the pollsters, although not to anybody’s great surprise. Democrats had major turnout problems here; exit polls show that the electorate which turned out in Virginia supported McCain in last year’s election 51-43, almost exactly the opposite of the actual margin.

But Deeds also appears to have been the weaker candidate. The electorate was roughly spit on approval of Obama, but 20 percent of those who approved Obama nevertheless voted for McDonnell, while just 5 percent of those who disapproved Obama voted for Deeds.

New Jersey Governor: Republican Chris Christie wins 49-45. We had (somewhat tentatively) characterized the race as leaning Christie on the basis of superior enthusiasm and the incumbent rule. Corzine never polled at better than 44 percent in any individual poll of the race. It looked for a time like 44 or 45 percent might nevertheless have been enough to win him the election, but support for the third party candidate Chris Daggett collapsed, leaving him exposed.

Obama approval was actually pretty strong in New Jersey, at 57 percent, but 27 percent of those who approved of Obama nevertheless voted for someone other than Corzine. This one really does appear to be mostly about Corzine being an unappealing candidate, as the Democrats look like they’ll lose just one or two seats in the state legislature in Trenton. Corzine compounded his problems by staying negative until the bitter end of the campaign rather than rounding out his portfolio after having closed the margin with Christie.

NY-23: Democrat Bill Owens prevails in a result that will be regarded as surprising; the final tally isn’t in yet but it appears as though it will be something on the

order of 50-45 over Conservative Doug Hoffman. I don’t think I’ve ever hedged more on predicting the outcome of a race; the main issue is that there was a rather large discrepancy between the polling, which heavily favored Hoffman, and what I perceived to be the facts on the ground. NY-23 is solidly Republican but not especially conservative (it voted for Barack Obama last year), and Hoffman was a relatively uncharismatic candidate with poor command of the local issues.

If New Jersey was a win for the incumbent rule, then NY-23 may have ben a win for the Median voter theorem, as Owens — a conservative Democrat — was actually much closer to the average ideology of the district than the capital-C Conservative Hoffman. It was also a reminder that all politics is local (sometimes). More than 95 percent of Hoffman’s contributions came from out-of-district, and the conservative activists who tried to brand him as a modern-day Jefferson Smith never bothered to check whether he resonated particularly well with the zeitgeist of the district. In any event, this is a Democratic takeover of a GOP-held seat and they expand by one their majority in the House.

I can’t think of much to say about this jacket, but I wish I had one.

Like millions of other Americans the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy has been caught up in the Facebook/social networking craze. I believe that Facebook is like a near death experience except your life passes before your eyes one friend request at a time. The Conspiracy has been trying to “friend” a lot of people in the news without much success. No acceptance of our friend request from President Obama, Dede Scazzafava, Jeremiah Wright and a host of others. I can’t imagine why? So in order to reach them with some timely advice we are posting some comments here. If you are on their friend list maybe you could pass them along.  

@ Dede Scozzafava- When you try to stand in the middle of the road you get run over. Pick a team and get on it.

@ Barack Obama- Mr. President, if the trip to Dover wasn’t a photo op or political why take a photographer along?

@ John Boehner – Nice play backing the person in the NY 23^rd who ended up supporting the Democrat.  It’s about values not party, Mr. Speaker. BTW let you office staff know I am still waiting for a reply to my two e mails and phone calls.

RINO comes out of Closet – Scozzafava endorses Democrat Owens In NY-23

So Republican former candidate Dede Scozzafava has now endorsed the Democrat in New York’s 23rd district race, has she? Dede accepted how much money from the Republican party, and from local Republicans, and she’s endorsing a Dem? I guess Hell hath no fury like a woman candidate scorned, eh?

Oh wait, her husband is a big union guy in the state, and Dede herself supports Card Check and the Stimulus and things like that…

Never mind. Given all that, I guess nobody should have been surprised that, when the Republicans in the district found her untenable as a candidate, Dede should stab them in the back and endorse the Democrat. My only question is, “Why was she registered as a Republican at all?” Well, that and, “What was the party thinking when they chose her to run?”

But regardless of all that, I think it shows a real lack of class not to leave with the one who brung ya to the dance in the first place…

New York Times/Frank Rich—Barack Obama’s most devilish political move since the 2008 campaign was to appoint a Republican congressman from upstate New York as secretary of the Army. This week’s election to fill that vacant seat has set off nothing less than a riotous and bloody national G.O.P. civil war. No matter what the results in that race on Tuesday, the Republicans are the sure losers. This could be a gift that keeps on giving to the Democrats through 2010, and perhaps beyond.

The governors’ races in New Jersey and Virginia were once billed as the marquee events of Election Day 2009 — a referendum on the Obama presidency and a possible Republican “comeback.” But preposterous as it sounds, the real action migrated to New York’s 23rd, a rural Congressional district abutting Canada. That this pastoral setting could become a G.O.P. killing field, attracting an all-star cast of combatants led by Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, William Kristol and Newt Gingrich, is a premise out of a Depression-era screwball comedy. But such farces have become the norm for the conservative movement — whether the participants are dressing up in full “tea party” drag or not.

The battle for upstate New York confirms just how swiftly the right has devolved into a wacky, paranoid cult that is as eager to eat its own as it is to destroy Obama. The movement’s undisputed leaders, Palin and Beck, neither of whom have what Palin once called the “actual responsibilities” of public office, would gladly see the Republican Party die on the cross of right-wing ideological purity. Over the short term, at least, their wish could come true.

The New York fracas was ignited by the routine decision of 11 local Republican county chairmen to anoint an assemblywoman, Dede Scozzafava, as their party’s nominee for the vacant seat. The 23rd is in safe Republican territory that hasn’t sent a Democrat to Congress in decades. And Scozzafava is a mainstream conservative by New York standards; one statistical measure found her voting record slightly to the right of her fellow Republicans in the Assembly. But she has occasionally strayed from orthodoxy on social issues (abortion, same-sex marriage) and endorsed the Obama stimulus package. To the right’s Jacobins, that’s cause to send her to the guillotine.

Dia adalah wanita yang aku cintai sejak aku benar-benar pergi darinya, dia sosok wanita yang sederhana awalnya. Aku hanya mencoba untuk mendekati dia dan akupun mendapatkannya walaupun akhirnya aku kembali mendapatkan kepahitan dari semua perjalanan ini.

Dalam cerita awal cinta yang aku ingin tuliskan dalam sebuah blog ini merupakan sebuah perjalanan yang begitu sangat menyakitkan baik bagi penulis maupun orang yang di cintainya.

Dalam awal cerita cinta sejak aku bisa mendapatkan pekerjaan sebagai seorang buruh. Cinta datang begitu saja dan memang itu terjadi, ida adalah nama seorang cewek yang coba dekati aku, dia merupakan cewek yang aku dulu aku harapkan untuk menjadi bagian dalam hidup aku, kemudian akupun sempat jalan lama dengan dirinya, walaupun dulu aku sempat menyatakan suka padanya tapi ternyata ia menolak dengan mentah-mentah, aku jadi sakit hati karena peristiwa itu.
Masalah itu sebenarnya datang ketika salah satu teman dari ida merupakn bagian dari kehidupan aku yang lalu dan mungkin dia belum sempat atau tidak bisa untuk melupakan aku secara keseluruhan.
Akibat dari itu aku jadi ditolak oleh yang namanya ida, maklum aku sempat jalan lama dengan yang namnya rohyati. Dia adalah cewek yang baik sebenarnya, dan sekarang ia sudah mepunyai suami yang tidak lain adalah anak dari kakaknya ayah saya, sehingga saya menjadi lebih dekat dan tidak ada lagi permusuhan walaupun mungkin dalah hati dia tidak bisa untuk melupakan semua kenangan yang aku alami dengan dia semasa kami masih bersama. Sebenarnya aku putuskan hubungan dengannya karena masalah orang tua saya yang tidak mau aktifitas belajar saya terganggu, meski berat tapi itu benar-benar terjadi dalam kehidupan kami berdua. Selama kami berpisah itu merupakan sebuah hal yang sangat berat karena kami berdua ibarat bumi dan langit yang saling berjauhan dan kalaupun kami bertemu tidak pernah saling sapa.
Dalam kehidupan rohyati ada sedikit masalah dengan kesehatan ibunya, ibunya yang sering sakit-sakitan membuat mereka beranggapan bahwa rumah mereka tidak cocok lagi untuk di tempati, sehingga mereka sekeluarga hendak pindah kesamping rumah yang namanya ida farida, belum sempat itu terjadi, orang tua atau ibu dari rohyati tersebut meninggal dunia, walaupun demikian rohyati tetap berada dirumah ida.

Singkat cerita……..

ketika itu aku coba deketi ida, dan akupun sempat mengucapkan kata cinta ma dia, tapi aku malah ditolak mentah-mentah, dari situ sering balas membalas surat yang isinya tentang suatu hal yang kontra antara kami berdua dengan ida, saat itu mantan saya yang namanya rohyati masih berada dirumah ida, mungkin itu merupakan sikap dia terhadap teman.
dalam isi surat saya dengan ida, ida menanyakan kenapa saya sampai hati untuk meninggalkan rohyati,
saya pun menjawab dengan jawaban sudah ada pada tulisan yang diatas, yaitu adanya tuntutan dari orang tua untuk fokus dalam belajar.
dalam penolakan ida terhadap saya, sebenarnya mungkin dia masih berhubungan dengan yang namanya rohmanuddin, dia merupakan saudara dari ayah saya juga. makanya ia menolak saya.

lewat cerita karena banyak waktu yang terlewati tanpa disadari……..

pada saat lebaran idul adha tiba-tiba ida mencoba untuk dekati aku dengan meminta nomer handphone saya, mngkin dari teman-teman saya akhirnya ia bisa mendapatkan nomer saya, singkatnya kami pun jalan bareng lumayan lama, dan ida pun mungkin udah melupakan tentang masa lalu kami berdua saat ia masih bersama rohyati dan kekasihnya yang bernama rohmanuddin.

dalam perjalanan cinta ini banyak sekali waktu yang aku lewati tanpa aku ada disampingnnya, ya mungkin karena kesibukan masing-masing, sehingga akhirnya aku memutuskan untuk pergi meninggalkan dia.

aku mohon maaf sebelumnya atas sikap aku yang tidak punya perasaan ini, ini bukan karena aku pengen balas dendam atas penolakan ida terhadap aku dulu, akan tetapi karena adanya wanita lain yang mencoba hiasi hati ini. dia adalah teman kuliah, dia sangat baik dan sederhana, walaupun akhirnya aku harus menelan pil pahit karena kami berdua tidak bisa hidup bersama.

akupun sempat berpaling ke yang lain tapi semua itu membuat aku jadi jatuh dalam kepedihan……. dan terus berlangsung lama……..

Dear Friends and Supporters:

Throughout the course of my campaign for Congress, I have made the people of the 23rd District and the issues that affect them the focal point of my campaign. As a life long resident of this District, I care deeply and passionately about its people and our way of life. Whether as a candidate for Congress, a State Assemblywoman or a small town Mayor, I have always sought to act with the best interest of our District and its residents in mind—and today I again seek to act for the good of our community.

The opportunity to run as the Republican and Independence Party candidate to represent the 23rd District has been and remains one of the greatest honors of my life. During the past several months, as I’ve traveled the district, meeting and talking with voters about the issues that matter most to them, I’ve been overwhelmed by the amount of support I’ve received as I sought to serve as their voice in Washington. However, as Winston Churchill once said, Democracy can be a fickle employer, and the road to public office is not always a smooth one.

In recent days, polls have indicated that my chances of winning this election are not as strong as we would like them to be. The reality that I’ve come to accept is that in today’s political arena, you must be able to back up your message with money—and as I’ve been outspent on both sides, I’ve been unable to effectively address many of the charges that have been made about my record. But as I’ve said from the start of this campaign, this election is not about me, it’s about the people of this District. And, as always, today I will do what I believe serves their interests best.

It is increasingly clear that pressure is mounting on many of my supporters to shift their support. Consequently, I hereby release those individuals who have endorsed and supported my campaign to transfer their support as they see fit to do so. I am and have always been a proud Republican. It is my hope that with my actions today, my Party will emerge stronger and our District and our nation can take an important step towards restoring the enduring strength and economic prosperity that has defined us for generations.

On Election Day my name will appear on the ballot, but victory is unlikely. To those who support me – and to those who choose not to – I offer my sincerest thanks.

Genau einen. Lucas Barrios, der in der Nachspielzeit mit einem schönen Treffer den Sieg über Hertha endgültig besiegelte. Zuvor hatte man angesichts der schwarz-gelben Chancenverwertung wieder mit dem Schlimmsten gerechnet. Aber wollen wir mal nicht zu viel meckern. Das war gegenüber Dienstag schon wieder ganz ansehnlich.

Auf dem Papier hatte Jürgen Klopp ein 4-4-2 mit “flacher Vier” aufgestellt, in der Praxis ähnelte das System stark der Aufstellung der letzten Spiele. Zidan ließ sich immer wieder ins Mittelfeld zurückfallen und die Außen Valdez und Kuba starteten erwartungsgemäß zahlreiche Vorstöße nach vorne. Nelson erhielt seine neue Chance nach der äußerst schwachen Leistung von Osnabrück, da Markus Feulner grippebedingt kurzfristig ausfiel – ebenso wie Marc Ziegler und Yasin Öztekin.

Das Spiel begann etwas anders, als man sich das vorgestellt hatte. Mit aggressiven Berlinern, die durchaus mitspielen wollten. So entwickelte sich ein offener Schlagabtausch, jedoch mit wenigen Torraumszenen. Dede musste nach einer Rettungsaktion, bei der er mit Hummels zusammenprallte und dann noch auf den am Boden liegenden Valdez stürzte, ausgewechselt werden. Er hatte sich offensichtlich einiges vorgenommen gestern und war schwer enttäuscht, als er runter musste.

Zur Hälfte der ersten Halbzeit bekam der BVB das Spiel dann in den Griff und die Gäste nahmen die ihnen zugedachte Rolle an: Sie standen tief und warteten auf Konter. Die Chancen für Schwarz-Gelb kamen. Durch den sehr agilen Kuba, der ein gutes Spiel machte; durch Zidan, der wieder an Tunnelblick litt, oder durch Mats Hummels nach einem Freistoß. Kurz nach der Pause konnte Nelson Valdez allein vor dem Tor Jaroslav Drobny nicht überwinden. Wie erwartet lieferte die Berliner Nummer 1 eine tadellose Leistung ab. Andererseits hat sich Nelson in den letzten Partien wieder in sein Alter Ego “Chancentod” verwandelt. Zu hart? Eigentlich schon, denn der Begriff wird seinen Leistungen, mit Ausnahme von Dienstag, nicht gerecht. Das gleiche Problem hatte ja Florian Kringe in Dortmund – aber lassen wir das Thema heute mal weg. Valdez hätte gestern übrigens auch einen Elfmeter kriegen können, als Drobny kurz vor der Pause in sein Gesicht anstatt gegen den Ball faustete.

Die Sorgen, dass sich die ausgelassenen Chancen rächen könnten, waren auch gegen Hertha da und sie waren nicht völlig unbegründet – einmal knallte Kacar den Ball aus guter Position übers Tor, später gab es sogar einen Pfostentreffer. Für einen oder drei Punkte war das, was die Gäste anboten, aber zu wenig. Zu viele Fehler und zu wenig Torgefahr gab es da zu sehen.

Die Ausdauer und der Glaube der Schwarz-Gelben wurden in der 60. Minute belohnt. Nach einer Ecke umklammerte Kacar den Hals von Owomoyela und wollte gar nicht mehr loslassen. “Uwe” versuchte sich zu befreien und fiel dann irgendwann hin. Ob er fallen musste? Wer weiß. Das Foul war klar, trotzdem hätte der Schiedsrichter wohl nicht gepfiffen, wenn er nicht gefallen wäre – weil der Strafraum bei Ecken immer ein Rummelplatz ist. Außerdem musste die Dummheit von Kacar bestraft werden. Nuri Sahin verwandelte den Elfmeter und zeigte damit erneut, dass er für den BVB in Abwesenheit von Kehl und Hajnal ein entscheidender Mann ist.

Der BVB hatte weitere Chancen, scheiterte aber mehrmals an Drobny. Und so musste eben doch bis in die Nachspielzeit gezittert werden – bis Lucas nach Einwurf von Owomoyela zur Stelle war. Somit hat Patrick Owomoyela gestern quasi beide Treffer vorbereitet. Ein richtig überzeugendes Spiel war es trotzdem nicht von ihm. Dass vieles über die rechte Seite gut lief, war in erster Linie dem starken Kuba zu verdanken. Lob verdient haben sich auch die defensiv orientierten Mittelfeldleute Sahin und Bender, die gut abräumten und sich wenn möglich in Angriffe einschalteten. Das letzte Wort gebührt aber dem Torjäger: Der letzte Borusse, der Torschützenkönig der Liga wurde, war Marcio Amoroso mit 18 Treffern – als die Borussia zum letzten Mal Meister wurde. Lucas Barrios ist zuzutrauen, dass er zumindest einen der beiden “Titel” holt.

  There is a congressional race in New York involving a democrat, a republican, and a conservative.  The 23rd district race has taken a national place due to endorsements from Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich, and Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota.  This race highlights the problem with our government today and especially the two political parties.

  Doug Hoffman is the conservative and I hope the next congressman from NY-23.  This race highlights the divide going on in our nation.  While I do not want a democratic majority in congress any longer than necessary, I will not support a candidate that is as liberal as Dede.  I am not a party hack who only votes for you because you have an R behind your name.  I want candidates who actually stand for something.

  I see no difference between the republican and Owens the democrat.  So, either one of them will continue to vote for and support the endless spending that is coming out of Washington.  They will both support the lack on constitutional understanding that our current congress displays.  And, they will not offer anything other than the typical Washington response which is to tax and spend.  Its time we send the republicans a message that we view them in the same lense as the democrats.

  It was a republican president who started this spending spree and it has been continued by the democrats.  I have no party to affilate with and for once that feels like a good thing.  It is time to stop basing our arguments on whether the party says its ok and looking to solutions that bring results.  Do we need a third party?  I am not sure.  I believe we can take back the republican party but we will see.  If they keep nominating candidates like Dede, then more and more people will bail and hand the democrats a rock-solid majority for years to come.  And you know, since there is no difference between these republicans and the democrats it doesn’t really matter.

  We need to stop looking for the letter and asking what the candidates stand for.  For example, there are about 40 democrats threatening to block the health care bill in the House due to disagreements about abortion funding.  I support that effort.  Putting an R behind your name should no longer be a guarantee of support from conservatives.  Stand for something instead of trying to get a job.  Believe in the best of people and promote freedom.  Support tax cuts and cutting of federal spending.  Remember who you work for.

Bir kız çocuğu için, baba modeli çok önemlidir. Hem kendini güvende hissedebilmesi için hem de gelecekte ilişkilerinin sağlam olabilmesi için.

Ben, babamı çok küçükken kaybettim. Aslında küçük olduğum için, çok yara almadan atlattım, kendi kafamda belki de babamı yok saydım. Bu, hep içime dokunur; ama yok saymak, onu yok saymak değilde, benim hayatımda böyle biri yok, ne yapalım anlamında. O’nu unutmamamak için çok çabaladım, ama belli belirsiz şeyler kaldı aklımda, fotoğraftakilerle yaşatmaya çalıştım. Suçum yok ki, henüz dört yaşındaydım, ne kadarını hatırlayabilirdim?

Uzun yıllar, kendimi böyle avuttum hep. Ne okuldaki arkadaşlarımı, babalarıyla görünce üzüldüm ne de babalar gününde. Çocuktum ya, atlatmam kolay oldu.

Büyüdükçe, babamın eksikliğini hisseder oldum, inanır mısınız? O olsaydı nasıl biri olurdum acaba? O’ na dokunmak nasıl olurdu? Kokusu nasıldı? Beni öpse ne hissederdim… Bir sürü, bir sürü soru ard arda dolandı kafamda. En çok bir arkadaşımın düğününde hissettim babamın yokluğunu. Kızını, eşine kendi elleriyle verirken, ağladı, onu alnından öptü. Yirmi altı yaşımdaydım o zaman ve yirmi altı yıldır ilk defa bu sahne içime çok battı, çok ama çok kıskandım. Hem de hiç bilmediğim bir duyguyu kıskandım. İlk defa babamın aslında yok olmadığını, benim sürekli üzerini örtmeye çalıştığımı anladım. Büyüdükçe insan duygusallaşıyor mu ne?

Oğlum; oğlum babamı bana hatırlatan ikinci şok oldu. Çünkü, oğlumun babasıyla harika bir ilişkisi var. O’nu bekleyişi, Onla oyun oynayışı, seyahatte olunca sürekli O’nu soruşu ve huzursuzlanışı, O’na sarılışı, öpüşü… Onları gördükçe ben de babamı hatırlamaya başladım.

Bizim, uzun yürüyüşlerimiz vardı babamla, saatlerce yürürdük İzmir sokaklarında. Sonra; babam beni sirke götürmüştü, babamla resim yapardık biz, şekerli yoğurt yapardı babam bana ve ben bayılırdım… oğlumla babasını gördükçe, babamla kendimi görmeye başladım. Ne çok özlemişim babamı.

Babam ve oğlum, belki birbirlerini hiç göremeyecekler ama; oğlum babasıyla oldukça ve ben onları gördükçe babama daha yakın hissedeceğim kendimi ve belki böylelikle babamla oğlumu tanıştırabileceğim. Önceden aklımda O’na dedesini anlatmak yoktu ama şimdi anlatabileceğimi biliyorum, tabi hatırlayabildiğim kadarıyla…

Hoy llegó a Buenos Aires Adri, mi amiga mexicana, y junto a ella llegó el regalo de cumpleaños que me hizo Wanda. Es un lensbaby, un lente para la cámara que hace efectos de desenfoque, cosas raras con la luz, un look medio raro pero bastante divertido para experimentar y probar cosas distintas.

Aparte de mis lente, Adri trajo cosas para varios amigos y a la noche pasó por casa Diego (Dd) para buscar algunas cosas que pidió él (ya que no se había podido encontrar con Adri por la tarde)… y ya que estaba, mientras probaba el lensbaby… le saqué una foto… que ahora es mi foto del día.

I am sure that some of you think I march lock-step with the GOP based on the things I have written about Barack Obama and all his sordid associations. However, if you think that, you have missed the point. Especially within the last year, the GOP has shown an abandonment of the professed principles that attracted me to it in the first place: family values, small government, low taxes, free market. However, it has become much more like the Democrat Party. Lets explore what has happened in the GOP, especially from the last months of G.W. Bush up to now.

George W Bush, really got the ball rolling by signing off on the Democrat Congress’s 700 billion dollar TARP fiasco. The government had no business doing that, and G.W. Bush, as a self-professing conservative, had no business signing off on something so grossly unconstitutional.

Michael Steele. Despite the initial excitement over his being named to the GOP chair, he quickly showed his true colors. In a GQ Interview that has since been scrubbed from the GQ website, Steele dug himself into a hole by revealing how he truly feels about conservatism, marriage, and abortion.

Why do you think so few nonwhite Americans support the Republican Party right now?
’Cause we have offered them nothing! And the impression we’ve created is that we don’t give a d**n about them or we just outright don’t like them. And that’s not a healthy thing for a political party. I think the way we’ve talked about immigration, the way we’ve talked about some of the issues that are important to African-Americans, like affirmative action… I mean, you know, having an absolute holier-than-thou attitude about something that’s important to a particular community doesn’t engender confidence in your leadership by that community—or consideration of you for office or other things—because you’ve already given off the vibe that you don’t care. What I’m trying to do now is to say we do give a d**n.

We “offer them nothing?” We “just don’t like them?” Does he think throwing in a curse word makes him trendy?  Has Steele fell into the Al Sharpton/Rev Wright/ Barack Obama mindset that the mainstream c0nservative hates blacks? It is clear that Steele knows very little about conservatism. True conservatism doesn’t offer handouts, or bribes for votes. What conservatism offers is equality. No one is esteemed above another on account of their race. Race quotas, race preferences, those things say “look, you’re not good enough because your a minority, and we need to give you a bonus so you can stand up against the non-minorities.” That is diametrically opposed to conservatism, which stresses the individual over the collective. Any organization that claims conservatism, while embracing racism, attempts to integrate an alien and evil ideology that subverts the whole claim of conservatism.

Now lets see what he says about homosexuality:

Do you have a problem with gay priests who are celibate?
No, it’s your nature. It’s your nature. You can’t—I can’t deny you your nature.

For a Seminarian, who would presumably have read the scriptures, God has a clear commandment for would-be priests/pastors/reverend:

This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behavior, given to hospitality, apt to teach…(1 Timothy 3:1-2). He would also have known this: “But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26). He would also have been aware of the New Testament condemnation of such behaviors, and that a priest that is “dead in his sins” could never rightly divide the Word of God.

Let’s talk about gay marriage. What’s your position?
Well, my position is, hey, look, I have been, um, supportive of a lot of my friends who are gay in some of the core things that they believe are important to them. You know, the ability to be able to share in the information of your partner, to have the ability to—particularly in times of crisis—to manage their affairs and to help them through that as others—you know, as family members or others—would be able to do. I just draw the line at the gay marriage. And that’s not antigay, no. Heck no! It’s just that, you know, from my faith tradition and upbringing, I believe that marriage—that institution, the sanctity of it—is reserved for a man and a woman. That’s just my view. And I’m not gonna jump up and down and beat people upside the head about it, and tell gays that they’re wrong for wanting to aspire to that, and all of that craziness. That’s why I believe that the states should have an opportunity to address that issue.

Do you think homosexuality is a choice?
Oh, no. I don’t think I’ve ever really subscribed to that view, that you can turn it on and off like a water tap. Um, you know, I think that there’s a whole lot that goes into the makeup of an individual that, uh, you just can’t simply say, oh, like, “Tomorrow morning I’m gonna stop being gay.” It’s like saying, “Tomorrow morning I’m gonna stop being black.”

So your feeling would be that people are born one way or another.
I mean, I think that’s the prevailing view at this point, and I know that there’s some out there who think that you can absolutely make that choice. And maybe some people have. I don’t know, I can’t say. Until we can give a definitive answer one way or the other, I think we should respect that.

Steele tossed his “faith tradition” under the bus. Apparently being a man pleaser is more important than being right. To rephrase his answer another way, “I’m not going to let my faith influence my positions.” Sounds a lot like a certain Senator John Kerry, who’s own professed faith played no role in any decisions he made regarding moral matters. He also throws the perverted concept that sexual perversions are the equivalent of race. Race is immutable, sexual preferences can change. His answer to that last question is just a bunch of waffling. There is no consensus that homosexuality is genetic, radical scientists have been searching for it for years.

How about abortion? What does Steele think about that?

Do pro-choicers have a place in the Republican Party?
Absolutely!

How so?
You know, Lee Atwater said it best: We are a big-tent party. We recognize that there are views that may be divergent on some issues, but our goal is to correspond, or try to respond, to some core values and principles that we can agree on.

Do you think you’re more welcoming to pro-choice people than Democrats are to pro-lifers?
Now that’s a good question. I would say we are. Because the Democrats wouldn’t allow a pro-lifer to speak at their convention. We’ve had many a pro-choicer speak at ours—long before Rudy Giuliani. So yeah, that’s something I’ve been trying to get our party to appreciate. It’s not just in our words but in our actions, we’ve been a party that’s much more embracing. Even when we have missed the boat on, uh, minority issues, the Bush administration did an enormous amount to advance the individual opportunities for minorities in our country. In housing. In education. In health care.

It is the whole stupid concept of the “big tent” that has condemned the GOP to electoral hades.  The party doesn’t claim to stand for anything. Obama and the Democrats are clear where they stand on many issues, even if they are dead wrong. A “big tent” can’t take a stand, a big tent has no choice but to move to the left to pick up the abortionists and the homosexuals and the socialists. Perhaps Steele wasn’t aware that one of the main reasons people were attracted to the GOP is for its professed pro-life stance. So much for “core values and principles,” Steel has chucked those under the bus in his quest to create an ecumenical mush that is incapable of drawing the hard core from the Democrat party, and too perverse to attract the conservative faithful.

The truth about D’s and R’s is this: The Republican party is rapidly selling out its principles and becoming like a masked Democrat party. If I wanted a liberal candidate, I’d have voted for the Democrat. But with party bigwigs like the RNC and Newt Gingrich lining up to endorse and fund Democrats running as Republicans, it looks like you can just vote GOP to get a liberal. With Obama’s Democrats worshipping Mao, embracing Islamic Sharia law, and sponsoring gay p!rn, “mere” liberals may look like a better choice. However, the end result will be the same. When a republican receives the Margaret Sanger radical abortionist award, it is time to revoke the conservative credentials of ANYONE who supports, funds or endorses that candidate.

All this said, parties mean nothing. It all has to do with positions. Generically, Liberals embrace change, conservatives preserve the norm. With respect to the past, yesterday’s republicans where liberals, in the sense that they opposed tenaciously the establishment of slavery, and sought to change it. So the term “liberal” can be good depending on what kind of change is being sought. Movements towards personal freedoms in china would be liberal in the generic sense. However, on the modern political scene in America, Liberal has come to be associated with a specific set of goals, among them are:

Changing society to embrace abortion as an absolute right

Changing society to embrace homosexuality as beautiful

Changing society to redistribute wealth

Changing society to abhor and abolish private ownership of guns

Change society to accept that government’s duty is to provide everything for its citizens

Change society to believe that profit is evil

Change society to believe religion (Christianity) has no place in the public square

Change society by creating permanent racial divisions, that some are more equal than others

Change society by submerging American exceptionalism and promoting globalist socialism (United Nations)

Changing society by getting citizens to accept outrageous government control (soda tax, carbon tax) out of fear

Changing society by rewarding law breakers (illegal immigrants)

Changing society to believe in a dubious “living constitution” that doesn’t actually mean what it says, but rather, whatever they want it to.

Changing society into a collective, and submerging the individual within it.

John Kerry, Al Gore, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and every other major liberal Democrat politician supports most, if not all, of the above positions and are thus liberal. However, liberal republican politicians like Michael Steele, Newt Gingrich, Olympia Snowe, DeDe Scozzafava, John McCain and others are increasingly supporting the above statement in a self-centered attempt to grow and strengthen a party structure as opposed to doing what is best for America and her people. Yet they continue, in many cases to parrot a conservative line to deceive the voters into supporting them. What then in the modern, American contest, is conservatism, simply, it is the opposite of liberalism:

Preserving the concept of unborn children’s rights

Preserving the definition of marriage as between a woman and man

Preserving the right of people to keep what they earn legally

Preserving the private ownership of guns, and means of self defense.

Preserving the concept of personal and religious responsibility.

Preserving the right of people to earn a profit and spend or invest it as they desire.

Preserve the notion that America was founded on Christian principles, and that is what made us strong

Preserve the concept that there should be equality, no institutionalized racial preference or deference.

Restore American exceptionalism by getting us out of entangling alliances that are detrimental to our people (the UN)

Preserve American freedom by opposing all punitive taxes and government power grabs (global warming, soda tax)

Restore the concept that law breakers should be punished, not rewarded for their deeds.

Restore the concept of “original intent,” that the constitution means what it says it does, and that it actually guarantees the rights it claims to.

Preserving right of the individual to excel, and guaranteeing equality of opportunity, not outcome

I hope this clarifies my positions on the political parties, and that I do not champion a corrupt and liberal Republican party  as a replacement to the corrupt and liberal Democrat regime we currently reside under. I hope you will join me in seeking out and supporting conservative constitutionalists that will uphold the best and highest ideals of the American experiment, and speak out with boldness against radicals- regardless of party affiliation.

Actions speak louder than words. Listen and take heed. The future of our republic is at stake.

I daresay NO one who was a genuine conservative would sell out the prosperity and sovereignty of the US and her people for anything, let alone the JUNK science of man-caused global warming, er, I mean climate change.

These are my first steps of writing at Technorati. Imagine yourself in a boat. You don’t know how to swim.

Your elder brother have told you right after when away from the beach that; ‘he was going to throw you into the water’. He’s aim was to have you chopping for dear life. That was the way he learned to swim he said.

When this happened, I was at age of six. Did I succeed? Yes ı did. That day, for dear life, I chopped as hard as I could, and manage to stay on the water.

Today I’m 60+3 in age. It seems that, this time I’ve put in water myself to the ‘Deep Oceans of Technorati’.
Am I capable, or will I be having enough effort to stay on the surface of Technorati? Or will I sink, and drown?

The ones who has the experience of swimming in different waters, — fresh or salt — wavy, streamy, windy etc., or swimming in a pool, in a river, a lake, and sea, can also be added to this classification, should and must keep in mind, that each of these different waters have their own formats, their unique characteristics.

To be successful in the mission of ’swimming’, it needs applying the necessary basics, but in different rules, compatible with each one of the waters concerned.

Probably, all of these waters have been experienced by most of us. But ‘ocean’ is the superb of all waters. Deepest, biggest, widest, finest, and the most spectacular.
Ocean is also known and named as; cruelest, merciless, and above all the feared most.

Despite all the positive, but heavily negative mentioned appellations of ‘Oceans’, she is least known, still the most famous, most mysterious, the such a thing is that, she is still the most curious, and most fabulous.

After all these chit-chats of ocean, let me mention about how I feel of stepping into the unfamiliar ‘giant’ oceans of Technorati.

For long years of educational official work, I was accustom to writing formal, scientific etc. notes, texts, and articles. But I’m retired now. I am eager to write what’s really inside of me. The work, happily but painly busyness with the family, and finally rushy traffic of all kinds within the natural flow of life, kept me static all those years.

As if I was automatically programmed to do all that without complaine. After my retirement, I no more could control the feelings in my soul, and the ‘file’ of heavy traffic consisting of words, phrases, ideas in my brain.
It’s time now for them to come out, to take a role, and step into the stage of life itself.

Simply, plainly, sincerely, within the rules of life and the new era, I feel I’m obliged to keep pace with this.

So I started dealing with building up web sites, first was built exactly at 29 April, 2009.

Working hard, I manage to come to this phase in five months, a level that brought me to the shores of Technorati.

For many years writing formal texts,articles,then writing freely in my sites/blogs — which decreased my eagerness, and tension a little bit — I’ve suddenly found myself in the very deep waters of Technorati’s Oceans.

To be honest, with a wish, and hard work, I knew I was going to end up on some Web Site address. Of course, joining as the ‘Author’, a contributor for Technorati, I couldn’t have imagined and expected in very short time like this.

Now I’m in. Being experienced in writing, will be my advantage. But being not familiar to the tendencies, obligations to follow the written/un-written general rules, preferences of the ‘ readers, members, fans, authors, management ‘ etc. are going be my disadvantages at Technorati in the preliminary stages.

Nevertheless, I’m certain, being in the Technorati Family, will bring me enormous credits. Advantage of sharing my writings with a very big, large and elite community, plus I’ll be having a chance of exchanging valuable knowledge with them. In short

I will gain a lot…

Finally, a gentlemen from Technorati Editorial, who kindly helped me in some of my difficulties, have said in it’s mail; “It is not always easy to write from the heart and open up to complete strangers what one feels about a transition.”

These expression have motivated my feelings. I appreciate it.

He also pointed out about the line in the beginning of this article and said: “Imagine yourself in a boat. You don’t know how to swim.” is a perfect metaphor.

Thanking him so much again, I feel obliged to respond to this as: If ”Imagining oneself in a boat with fear,cause of not knowing to swim ” is considered a ‘Perfect Metaphor’, Then me being in The Technorati should be considered as ” MegaMetaphor ”.

I’m afraid. Afraid of the responsibilities that I will come upon Technorati. Afraid of unexpected happenings that might kept me out of my goal.

Time is the best solution for the one’s who are afraid. Afraid of being inadequate. The way to overcome this negative feeling is to ‘do the best that can be done’.

Not to rush, slowly, patiently, and fearlessly move on the right path.

It’s about time to end this article. Then here comes the conclusion part.
In Turkish, the word ‘dede’ is ‘grandpa’. My granddaughter’s first call to me was ‘dedegi’, not ‘dede’.

I fall into astonishment, because I didn’t know the meaning of it. The word’s meaning was not known by major dictionaries also.

I founded the meaning myself. The suffix ‘gi’ was ‘dear’. She ment ‘dear grandpa‘.

Finally, I will end my first article by calling upon ‘The Big Community of Technorati’, that they have a ‘dedegi‘ among them now.

Technoratiansgi, ‘dede’ whose aim is to run slowly but continiously on these tracks is very happy for joining your community.
