Freakuency is a new decentralized radio online in a testing level which is started after long discussions , little steps of development , searching for resources , sharing skills. We are definitely convinced that was the right way to start a radio project. A horizontal way with all of us participating in a beautiful decentralized process with one purpose: starting a new online radio project collective related to electronic music interests.

Finally we succeed , our efforts came out with results and our little radio is online. Techno , minimal dj sets , house tunes , progressive attitudes , underground concepts , supporting local scenes and artists , drum n bass , dubstep as well as electro releases are occupying the self organized DIY “studios of our decentralised radio , broadcasting from everywhere.

Our project is open to new contributions and ideas , the only thing you have to do is to send us an open letter to our email address , describing your ideas. If you re willing to do it we will be glad to reply to you as soon as possible. The day schedule of our radio is an open process for discussion , with our collective discussing every new idea and possibility. So feel free to share your ideas with us

for new ideas and suggestions you can mail us here freakuencyradio@gmail.com and you can listen online here

Pohon flamboyan yang kutanam 5 tahun lalu

Kini telah tinggi melebihi keponakanku yang pandai berlari

Berbunga rimbun merah jingga kala berseminya

Berpadu dengan senja yang masih saja indah

dan akan selalu indah

Entah burung apa terkadang turut menghias

Sekedar singgah dari perjalanan mencari makan

Bersemi memanjakan mata

Syahdu dengan suara merdu

Flamboyan yang tumbuh bersemi 5 tahun ini

Kini telah tinggi dan berbunga merah jingga

Tapi senja telah pergi

Tertutup gedung tinggi dan bukit gersang nan angkuh

Tapi lukisan flamboyan dan senjaku telah terpatri

dalam segenap rasa dan jiwaku

Pada sebuah bingkai lukisan abadi

Menggantung rapi di langit hati

Bersama kisah ‘Bidadari yang Terluka‘ dan ‘Siti Nurbaya‘

Excerpts from GLOBAL WARMING IS A MYTH IS CARBON DI OXIDE THE VILLAIN? Such terms as carbon credit

Excerpts from GLOBAL WARMING IS A MYTH

IS CARBON DI OXIDE THE VILLAIN?

Such terms as carbon credit find a place in newspapers almost daily. I don’t know what is all this about. To me CO2 sustains life on earth. Has the level of CO2 in the atmosphere gone up? Has it been proved experimentally?

Before Industrialization

The whole of America and most of the old world were inhabited by a comparatively small population, a majority of whom depended upon meat and fish. Farming depended entirely on rain water as big dams were unknown. The grasslands of America and Australia didn’t produce food grains. Coal and other fossil fuels were not commercially exploited. In those days we may presume that a proper balance existed between CO2 and other ingredients of the air like N2 and O2 in spite of forest fires, the like of which we witnessed in California recently.

After Industrialization

Commercial exploitation of coal began first followed by oil and natural gas, resulting in increase in the level of CO2 in the atmosphere. Simultaneously two other developments followed: increase in population (both human and animal) and corresponding growth in food grains production. Big dams were constructed and more and more areas of land were brought under cultivation. Mechanization and the use of artificial fertilizers made leaps and bounds in production of food grains, fruits and other commercial crops. The Prairies of North America became the granary of the world. Compared to grass, food grains and sugar fix a large quantity of CO2. The major items responsible for such CO2 fixation are:

food grains like wheat, corn, rice, oats, soybean etc

underground vegetables like potato, tapioca, beetroot etc

fruits like apple, grapes, banana, dates, cherry, pineapple etc

sugarcane etc

Experts can calculate the total quantity of CO2 produced by industry and that absorbed by vegetation as mentioned above and the marine vegetation in order to find out whether the net balance is favoring CO2 concentration in the air. An easier way would be to experimentally ascertain the percentage of CO2 in the atmospheric air (being heavier than air CO2 is available near the surface of the earth). If CO2 level increases O2 level should decrease. In my childhood (I am 70+) O2 level was 20% as mentioned in my text book. Has it changed? An atom of carbon combines with two atoms of oxygen to form CO2 which is absorbed by the leaves of the plant to form starch. In the process two atoms of oxygen are released into the atmosphere. We may say that each carbon atom burnt ultimately results in the release of two atoms of oxygen, thus resulting in increase in the level of O2. Level of CO2 dissolved in the ocean water should also be checked. If this level increases, fishes would die en mass. Has this happened? If the level of CO2 dissolved in ocean waters decreases, plant life in the ocean cannot produce enough starch by photosynthesis. This will be a hazard for fishes and other marine life.

The volume of animal and hence plant life in the oceans is much more than that on the continents. This is because the area of the oceans is seven times the area of the continents. Also, the oceans are deep. Hence the volume of water is very much more and can contain a large population of marine life. The necessary starch has to come from plant life. So, the total bio mass in the oceans is considerably higher than that in the continent. The carbon di oxideàPlant starchàAnimalsàCarbon di oxide cycle is there in the watery medium, just as in our atmosphere. All the gases, including nitrogen, will be present in dissolved state in the oceans too. Here industrialization has not affected the ‘atmosphere’ of the ocean. This fact has to be recognized in any discussion on Global Warming.

[The percentage of various components of atmospheric air as obtained from the websites is given below:

Nitrogen 78.1

Oxygen 20.9

Argon 0.9

Neon 0.002

Helium 0.0005

Krypton 0.0001

Hydrogen 0.00005

Carbon di oxide 0.035!!!!!!!! (Poor, innocent CO2 has been maligned unnecessarily)

Methane 0.0002

Ozone 0.000004

This would suggest that the percentage of oxygen has slightly increased. If this is true it augers ill, as forest fires may become uncontrollable with increase in the level of oxygen in the coming years. Therefore, this line should be investigated separately by experts. My guess is that with unchecked use of nitrogenous fertilizers, the total bio mass in the earth could have increased. The requisite extra nitrogen must have been drawn from the atmosphere along with CO2 releasing extra oxygen into the atmosphere as pointed out above.]

The importance of proper scientific study cannot be over emphasized. Mother Nature maintains her balance, whatever her children may do!

It’s wordpress and it’s on my iPod! Can you imagine? ! That should explain any grammar or spelling errors! It will probably also explain why this is all in one massive chunk too because I havn’t 1found the enter button… So anyway I’ve decided to just ditch the whole limit of one blog a day thing because I just need to get some stuff out!

Oh and I just found enter

Anyway I just started relistening to my top 25 tracks from back in the day! And it’s rewoken some old memories! Like when I used to kid myself that my whole life could be explained in song lyrics… Glasvegas that’s all I’m saying…

So I dunno I’m feeling a bit shitty at the moment for no real reason… I want to talk to someone new. Like never met them before like when that guy commented me last night…

Once again I gotta say I’m sick of being lonely, I’m sick of wanting what I can’t have, and most of all I’m sick of talking all the time and never saying anything!

And once again, this title means something and for once I’m gonna explain it. That phrase ‘there’s plenty of fish in the sea’ annoys me! If I wanted a fish I’d go to an aquarium, but where do I go for an adventure? Or someone new? Or just something to make you feel alive?

And to answer the questions I’ve been getting all day, yes I will ask Will out if that group gets 1000 members. Why? Because I want to do something to make me feel alive again.

Random blog. Sorry.

Jack out.

OTHER PEOPLE’S DREAMS

For years everyone flees,
for years everyone returns,
Chasing after the sun,
Prisoners inside cycles,
everyone is involved,
So what are you still dreaming of,
For years they all hide it,
for years they all know,
A stone is turned over,
In the nights and the days everyone is already talking,
Why do you still remain…

Better to run to the fire,
to demand rather than to beg,
From what are you scared?
There’s nothing to think about that he says,
there’s no time more beautiful,
Bring the day…

For years they ask,
for years they don’t listen,
Keeping everything in the stomach,
It piles up and it gets stronger
and in the end it finishes,
What are you talking about,

Better to run to the fire…

On the outside you are always quiet,
But inside it burns and consumes everything,
All the words that disappear
You will find them in the dreams of others…

For years they are opened yet remain closed up,
held by the wind,
Every tragedy chases differently,
it comes it speaks,
They return to the open wound…

Better to run to the fire…

On the outside you are always quiet…

For years everyone flees,
for years everyone returns,
Chasing after the sun.

DJ FREEDOM

www.mixcraftmedia.wordpress.com (01)

Of course I am my own favorite DJ. I listen to my own mixes, play them for others, remix a multitude of songs weekly and although my releases are not being played by every DJ or radio station, the respect by many is there. You should also know I didn’t get into this for the status just the respect and the music.

DJ culture has long been the backbone of nightlife: if you have the right DJ spinning it can be the difference between a lot of folks sitting around talking over drinks or crowds rushing in to hear the best music-regardless of the atmosphere (although flashing lights are nice).

My list is just that-my opinion, lumped in with the millions of others. Only consider these guys not just because I say so but I have heard them all spin LIVE and I have at least one or more of their mixes. Ahh, now we separate ourselves from all the other bloggers online. Yes indeed!

Check them out. You’ve probably danced to one or more of their tracks if you have gone to a party at ANY major city in the U.S. Or how about the last wedding reception. Or the New Year’s Eve party. Their records are everywhere in EVERY DJ’s crate and their fame doesn’t stop there. You can hear them spin live if you live in NYC, or attend the WMC in Miami each year in March. Among my all-time favorites. Just ask Fatman Scoop!

He claims NJ as home, runs one of the most respected super club brands in the world in NYC known as Pacha, and does residencies in Miami (where I hear he has been living for a while), Ibiza (THE dance music capital of the world) and endless other places. He also has a hot dance label, Subliminal and one of the most annoying dance anthems ever, “I Like To Move It” under the name Reel 2 Real. She plays a party-oriented style of hip-hop, R&B, dancehall/reggae and club that is always upbeat and floor-ready. I’ve had the pleasure of hiring her for a party recently and she brought the house down-more than all of the DJs on the bill (we won’t say any names). He has probably been doing it longer, but Danny gets props for being credible for keeping the marathon sets alive and well.
Scar

Across the earth across
my hands
open, old, and deep
a forgotten time

once there were fresh buds bursting forth
once this wound was not a wound,
but a beginning
a birth and becoming

and now the pebbles scatter, freckles across
boulders shaken to the core
can I break through their dark solidness?
through the scar?

beneath,
where I dare not go
where the rawness remains
anxiety, newness

the opening of eyes, rimmed with phlegm and trickling tears
an infant
the child of the universe
was this me? it wasn’t, was it?

because here I am, kneeling in dust, fingers curled over the edge
of the earth
peering into depths so dark
my eyes fail

to open this past, I need to feel,
to reach my hands down and in,
and touch the warmth
the magma singeing the center

still I hover at the edge
of the scar

Hola ~

Ah, that takes me back to two years ago. Good old CP days =]

Before I continue the three-part series on failure, I need to address a few issues;

~I know some have suggested just leaving the blog review page always open to nominations and getting them done as time goes by. The problem with that is if I have a long list of people to review, I’ll get bored and won’t end up doing any of them.

~I know 98% is a great mark, but I’m just using that as an example. My feelings then (“Ach! I cannot believe I got THE EASIEST question wrong!!!”) would match failure-like emotions.

Anyways, on with the show.

~*_*~*_*~*_*~*_*~*_*~*_*~*_*~*_*~

Part 1: Your Failure

Part 2: Dealing with Failure

Part 3: Dealing with Other People’s Failure

Part 2: Dealing with Failure

Instead of letting failure eat away at you, you should take action and kill the failure weed from destroying your crops.

But, what should you do?

One of the biggest issues with failure is that of misconception. Overreacting, exaggeration, so on.

You make out the mistake as more than it really is, as you can see I did with my 98% “failure” in part one.

Instead of blasting the thing out of proportion, look at the mistake carefully and realistically. Sure, 98% is an annoying score to get, especially when the one mistake you made was so simple, but 98% is still a phenomenal score.

Sure, I broke that promise, but instead of destroying the trust between myself and Bob, it brought us even closer together and helped us learn lessons.

Lessons.

That’s another thing you can learn from failure.

You know that saying…”Learn from your mistakes”?

It is one of the truest things you can ever live by.

Now you know why you made that mistake on that exam, and if it ever pops up again in later years, hopefully you’ll not make the same mistake twice. [Myself, on the other hand, made a similar mistake three times throughout the year; on a test and two exams]

Oh, I see where I went wrong. I should stick by my words and treat my friends with more respect. If I keep my promises, perhaps I can be a better friend.

And I might never face failure again.

But what about the failure of others…?

To be continued

~*_*~*_*~*_*~*_*~*_*~*_*~*_*~*_*~*_*~

By the by, festive changes will be attacking the blog on December 1st.

Josh

The days of doing business as we have been doing in the past are gone. We can no longer afford to continue using traditional approaches in managing our companies. Executives or organizations that insist on clinging to outmoded ways of thinking will find themselves standing on the sidelines as new traditions are being established by forward thinking business visionaries. The business leaders of the future are awakening, sensitive to the personal responsibility the public now demands from the business community.

All of us share certain values and beliefs. We value the human spirit and believe that modern society must change in a deep and fundamental way the way it thinks, if we are to have a sustainable future. We also believe that the most effective leverage in achieving such a global transformation is through the business community.

It is doubtful that the business community would take this leadership role out of altruism. However, we believe that if business leaders recognize a need to operate responsibly, and feel that their personal values are in accord with organizational values, they will begin doing business in a new way—establishing new traditions in business communities around the world.

From deep depths I called to you to come to me
with your return the light in my eyes will come back
it’s not finished,
I am not leaving the touch of your hands
that it may come and light up/wake upon
hearing the sound of your laugh.

From deep depths I called to you to come to me
the moonlight I will again light your way to me
they’re spread out and melted again
the touch of your hands
I whisper, ask in your ears:
Who is it that calls to you tonight – listen
who sings loudly to you – to your window
who put his soul so you’d be happy
who will put his hand and build you your home
who will give his life, put it underneath you
who will be like dust living at your feet
who will love you of all your lovers
who will save you from all evil spirits
from the deep depths.
