<title><![CDATA[Les nouveaux mots du dictionnaire Oxford]]></title>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p style="text-align:justify;"><img class="alignleft" src="http://www.lingvo.ru/upload/images/dictsx3/255gif/OxfordAmericanDictionary-(En-En).gif" alt="" width="225" height="225" />Les réseaux sociaux, phénomènes de l&#8217;année 2009, ont logiquement des effets sur la mise à jour du New Oxford American Dictionary. C&#8217;est ainsi que des mots et expressions devenus courants dans Facebook ou Twitter débarquent dans le plus célèbre dictionnaire anglophone. Exemples :</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">&#8220;Unfriend&#8221; est un terme (verbe) utilisé par les membres de Facebook quand ceux-là retirent une personne de leur liste d&#8217;amis. Un mot anglais que même certains internautes français utilisent.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">&#8220;Hashtag&#8221; : petit mot précédé d&#8217;un dièse qui définit le sujet d&#8217;un message (tweet) envoyé sur twitter. Le hashtag permet ainsi de regrouper les conversations par sujet.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Le dictionnaire accueille également &#8220;intexticated&#8221; (automobiliste distrait par l&#8217;utilisation de son mobile) n&#8217;a pas d&#8217;équivalent français. Netbook (petit PC portable à bas coût) et sexting (SMS ou MMs à caractère sexuel) sont en revanche utilisés sur notre territoire.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;"><strong>En France, les Larousse et autres Robert ont eux aussi accueilli de nouveaux mots directement issus des Nouvelles Technologies de l&#8217;Information et de la Communication (NTIC)</strong>. Dans les éditions 2010, on peut désormais retrouver des termes comme Buzz, Geek, Web 2.0, Mobinaute, Peer-to-peer, Webtélé, Webradio, Blacklister, e-book  Hameçonnage, Multijoueurs, Adresse IP, Wi-Max ou e-learning. Des termes assez généraux, moins pointus que les nouveaux venus du Oxford, et à la définition &#8220;officielle&#8221; parfois un peu timide&#8230;</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Mais en réalité, a-t-on le réflexe d&#8217;ouvrir un dictionnaire papier pour découvrir ou vérifier la définition de mots si nouveaux ? Des mots et expressions largement expliquées dans des espaces numériques gratuits fort bien documentés au premier rang desquels on retrouve le fameux projet encyclopédique Wikipedia. Pour le mot &#8220;Geek&#8221; par exemple, si <a class="wp-caption" href="http://www.pcinpact.com/affichage/51404-petit-larousse-2010-geek-rfid/71764.htm" target="_blank">la définition du Larousse reste très limitée voire incomplète</a>, Wikipedia permet faire la différence entre <a class="wp-caption" href="http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geek" target="_blank">&#8220;geek&#8221; &#8220;technophile&#8221; et &#8220;nolife&#8221;</a>.</p>

The tie is optional because nothing beats a well-cut black suit and white shirt. I chose these cuff links because even with a &#8216;conventional&#8217; outfit, it&#8217;s good to let a bit of personality shine through. Not just because of the obvious physical reasons, but because to me he is the quintessential man: He is a modern day Renaissance man who is not afraid to try new things. He is also a great father and husband who loves his family.He knows who he is and has a confidence that is never arrogant or cocky. I had the great fortune to meet Mr. Jackman earlier this month in New York and he was exactly what he he seems like: Jovial, friendly, gracious and yes, very tall and very hot! <p>&#8230;Mind-boggling! They have the ability to look dead sexy (day or night) with such little effort but women have to work hard to look like they didn&#8217;t even try. I&#8217;m merely focusing on clothing here, but I think that&#8217;s why the menswear trend is so popular, because all a guy has to do to stop our hearts, is step out in relaxed jeans and a v-neck tee, or for evening, it&#8217;s always a great tux. And I will admit to swooning over both the guy and their clothes, because the simple fact is I want the guy AND I want to be able to wear clothes like he does.<br />
So my point is, Man is mind-boggling in his ability to make us want every aspect of his being inside and out&#8230;.and don&#8217;t get me started on scruffy facial hair just making me swoon even more. SO not fair.</p>

<div><strong>Answer: </strong>A <strong>fable</strong> is a short, pithy animal tale, most often told or written with a moral tagged on in the form of a proverb. Thus to convey a moral is the aim of most fables, and the tale is the vehicle by which this is done, providing both an illustration of and compelling argument for the moral.As a specific development in form and content of the animal tale, the fable is comparatively sophisticated and does not originate as a folktale, though it may make use of folk material, and once composed may be absorbed into a culture and exchanged as traditional oral folklore.</p>
<p>The oldest known fables are either <a href="http://urbanlegends.about.com/library/blaesop.htm">Aesopic</a> (Greek) in origin, or from Asian (Indian and/or possibly Semitic) roots — both dating back several centuries B.C.E.</p>
<p><strong>Example: &#8216;The Hare and the Tortoise&#8217; by Aesop</strong><br />
<em>A Hare one day ridiculed the short feet and slow pace of the Tortoise, who replied, laughing: &#8220;Though you be swift as the wind, I will beat you in a race.&#8221; The Hare, believing her assertion to be simply impossible, assented to the proposal; and they agreed that the Fox should choose the course and fix the goal. On the day appointed for the race the two started together. The Tortoise never for a moment stopped, but went on with a slow but steady pace straight to the end of the course. The Hare, lying down by the wayside, fell fast asleep. At last waking up, and moving as fast as he could, he saw the Tortoise had reached the goal, and was comfortably dozing after her fatigue. </em></p>

<p>Nous proposons une typologie inspirée des travaux du sociologue Italien Guido MARTINOTTI :</p>

<p>Cette typologie pourra sembler un peu &#8220;fourre-tout&#8221;, mais elle nous paraît renvoyer à la situation actuelle puisqu&#8217;elle définit les usagers non pas à partir de leurs caractéristiques physiques (âge, sexe) ou sociales, mais à partir de ce qu&#8217;ils font du et au sein du territoire.</p>
<p>Vaste question&#8230; Des usagers <em>rapportés </em>ou <em>embedded </em>au territoire ? Répondre à cette question c&#8217;est faire une place à l&#8217;innovation des usagers eux mêmes, c&#8217;est organiser les services des collectivités de manière à être en capacité d&#8217;intégrer ces innovations en plaçant le curseur à l&#8217;équilibre entre intérêt général et particularités créatrices.</p>
<p>On voit bien aussi que la notion même de <em>client </em>est ici totalement inopérante car beaucoup trop pauvre pour rendre compte des questions qui se posent. Le client achète un service ou fait défection (voir A.O <a href="http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albert_Hirschman">HIRSCHMAN</a>). Il prend rarement la parole pour défendre un produit. Le service public par sa nature même de <a href="http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bien_commun#Bien_commun_au_sens_.C3.A9conomique">bien commun</a> appelle plus souvent une <strong>prise de parole</strong> (qui peut aller s&#8217;exprimer jusque dans le vote, c&#8217;est là toute la différence). C&#8217;est à nous, fonctionnaires et élus, de savoir écouter et de proposer des organisations adaptées.</p>

<p>For instance&#8230;  THIS Thanksgiving (Happy Thanksgiving by the way), you are NOT going to eat as much and give yourself that uncomfortable feeling for the night that you do every other year.  Unfortunately, you get to watching the football games, maybe turn on a basketball game, you continue to eat the snacks that are put out before dinner, then dinner is served and you don&#8217;t want to feel like a bad guest, so you fill your plate and eat a great dinner.  Then, right after dinner you find yourself lounging in the Lazy-Boy chair moaning and groaning&#8230;</p>
<p>Sound familiar?  Has your company continued to try the same things that have gotten you to the point you are at as a company &#8211; only this time, for some reason, it will work better!!</p>
<p>How frustrating is it for you to continue to develop business or product or marketing plans for a specific product or company only to see the company fall back into the same trap that has gotten it to where you are now?</p>
<p>Sometimes the best thing for a company to do is get someone from the outside to look objectively at your business and pay them to tell you the truth from how things look from the outside.  Sometimes people are too worried about their job, don&#8217;t like conflict, not good at communicating, etc.  Whatever the reason, sometimes the best thing for your company is to hear the truth from someone who is not attached to your business.</p>

<p>The husband and I got into a heated debate last night over <a title="Read his letter to his fans..." href="http://cache.nba.com/2009/news/11/25/iverson" target="_blank">Allen Iverson&#8217;s retirement</a>. I argued that &#8217;ego&#8217; had to have been a factor in the gifted basketball player&#8217;s decision to leave the game. This accusation came across as cruel blasphemy to the diehard fan beside me on the couch.</p>
<p>&#8220;He doesn&#8217;t have an ego!&#8221; my husband spluttered. &#8220;He&#8217;s just proud and uncompromising.&#8221;</p>
