Después de ver este demo reel me quedo sin palabras, les comparto este buen trabajo de un artista joven con muy buena pinta.

1. I could subscribe my blog on blog communities sites to increase traffic
Yup. Silly of me for not thinking of it before. But after reading Problogger’s article about increasing traffic I went right away and put my blog on all the sites he mentioned and my traffic did indeed increase. Thanks you, new visitors from near and far.

2. Illustrator Josh Holinaty
He’s one of those artists I like in first glance. His works inspire me and I love his style. I found out about him by reading this Kitsune Noir post.

3. The Fourth Kind Trailer
Dan brought to my attention the trailer for this new crazy film starring Milla Jovovich. It’s supposed to be a documenting and dramatizing strange cases of alien abductions in Nome, Alaska. In the trailer, the victims claimed they see a white owl looking at them, which they link to the abduction. Strange enough, my late grandmother once mentioned seeing an owl in the window and linked it to death. Oh well. Anyway, the trailer is really worth watching. I liked how it was produced.

4. Bored to Death title animation
Found out in The Art of the Title Sequence. Bored to Death is a new comedy series about a writer that turns to the private detective business. Click here to watch.

5. The evolution of Apple ads
Found here on the Web Designer Depot website.

6. The new Chrome themes really suck
I do not endorse calling the mere replacement of the background image a “theme”. And that’s why the new feature in Google Chrome browsers suck. Don’t get me wrong, I’m addicted to Chrome, but the Firefox themes are way better, because they really change the way your browser look, including icons and sizes of menus. But I’m sure they’ll get there eventually with Chrome too. In the meantime, I’m sticking with the regular light blue theme.

7. And finally, I uploaded my demoreel on Vimeo. No more annoying Aniboom embedding crap.

Okay, I’ve been collecting some of my work, and I made a demoreel out of it. Twas fun to dig through the old stuff, some of it made it in, some didn’t. I cleaned up Bob and gave him a decent texture this time around, just like the girl. Other things you will find in this reel are my version of Link, even though he’s not actually finished yet, and a remake of my old pixar spoof animation. I wanted to clean the animation up a little, but instead ended up just redoing the whole thing with the new rig. It’s still not perfect, but last time it took me about a week to finish it. This time, it took just a few hours.  Have a look!

On a side note, I think I’ll be updating the gallery soon as well. There’s a bunch of new stuff piling up.

Not worthy to make a new post for, but I’ve made a new animation last afternoon, it’s about stickman doing a silly dance to a song. It’s a tiny bit out of sync, but still funny.

Haven’t been able to post/do anything during my last week of school, it was all demoreel cramming time. Man, the week was brutal As for my demoreel – overall I’m proud of it, but I wasn’t able to completely finish one so the last piece is still a Work in Progress, and I feel that I could still polish up my other animations for sure!

Since I’ve been done school, I went to go get DS Lite from Pacific Mall (I knoww, kinda late and why not get a DSi? Lots of reasons!) thanks to my friend Niki for accompanying me Or else I probably would be lurking around the windows going, “should I buy it…I want to buy it..hmmm…”

I got to draw a bit! Yay! Learned some new stuff when my friend Alvin came into class Friday to give a short digital painting demo – yay!

Anyway, hope you enjoy my demoreel, it’s what I have to show for of the last 14 weeks of my program – feel free to critique!

Hello folks,

cleaning my computer and hard disk i found this old demoreel of 2001 … unfortunately it was a web compression so quality is really bad..but still it was interesting and emotional to remember all those projects and time spent learning…  sometimes i even think some old projects were better, more creative, spontaneous than now…  do we lose spontaniety by getting experience and technical knowledge?
