Hej på er.

Igår fikade jag, Klara och Dina på String, dock pratade vi om lite för deprimerande saker. När jag kom hem var jag väldigt låg och kände mig precis på bristningsgränsen, nära att liksom gå i kras. Och inte blev det bättre av att skolan spottade mig i ansiktet. Men jag bröt inte ihop. Fick bara en liten attack.

Nog deppat! Helgen vecka 48 (bobhundbobhundbobhund) ska bli rolig. Jag ska köpa kläder, se på bio, skriva julsaga och läsa om Frida Kahlo, ska träffa vänner, jag ska spela in, jag ska fira Evelina.

Jag har helt enkelt inte tid med något tråkigt.

I don’t know about anyone else but a story that was probably started in someones head on the internet has been saturated beyond belief now. I get Google Alerts all day everyday if a story about Johnny pops up and the last 3 days OMG! It has been a non stop deluge of stories about sex scenes or should I say “possible” sex scenes that “may” happen between Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie IF the rumors are true about them both doing the movie The Tourist which apparently has had serious issues with getting off the ground. So really the likelihood of this actually being true…. probably “slim and none”.

First of all Johnny has so many projects lined up squeezing another in is almost impossible.. Second… I may be in the minority but I just can’t see and don’t really want to see a pairing of Johnny and Jolie. Johnny being one of the most non public people (meaning he doesn’t like the attention would rather be just treated like everyone else) thinking about doing a film with someone that seems to want to be the center of attention and drags her children in it too is just weird… I think..
The news wire on the internet is like a huge regurgitating monster!! I think anyone can start anything.. rumor wise and within a 5 hour period it will start to multiply worse then rabbits and pretty soon it’s all you can hear about someone!! 2 days ago a small “rumor” started about Jolie and Depp signing up for this movie… today.. it’s the only google alert out there!!! So far I have not read anything that denies or confirms by Depp’s camp.. I for one.. no matter that I am always happy to see him on the big screen… don’t want this to come to fruition… at least not with Angelina Jolie…. Maybe Vanessa could do it… ?? Just a thought……………….
Most amazing thing.. I just saw on MSN.com that they too are buying into what is up to this point.. still a rumor.. Nothing has been verified by the Depp camp. The she said he said mentality just doesn’t fly if you are supposed to be reporting the “news”.

I enjoy watching movies with people in them BEFORE they got really famous. Watched Platoon today. Johnny Depp, Willem Dafoe, Charlie Sheen, John C. McGinley , Forest Whitaker…all brilliant in gritty, realistic roles. The movie itself is brilliant too. Once dinner is done, I think I’ll take a look at the special features. But more on that later.

Meatloaf for dinner tonight. Just finished it, and shoved it into the oven to cook. I’m especially proud of it because it’s so symmetrical. Things like that bug me. Used extra garlic, and less tomato. Let’s see if the family even notices. I’ll guess no.

Until dinner is ready, I’ll be picking on a bag of peanuts I picked up yesterday. I’m rather fond of peanuts. I don’t care if they’re technically legumes, in my mind they’ll always be nuts. Legumes don’t taste that good.

Tonight I watched the Depp movie Secret Window. I’ve seen it before but I like watching movies more than once, especially the movies with Johnny:) as he is my favorite actor.  I like this movie! And with Johnnys charisma makes it even better! The ending is a bit unexpected I think and the way they’ve filmed it is great,  the beginning is really cool. This movie is definitley worth watching if you like slowpaced thrillers and a interesting perspective on a writer, and Johnny never disappoints in his movies either, we all know that..  And let’s not forget that it’s based on a Stephen King book!

And just one last note, hehe… I love the way Johnny look here, the glasses, the hair, the clothes. Even though they’ve tried to make him look a little worn out, he still looks so hot!

The sexiest man alive: Johnny Depp…… HUH??? But my wife says I am… dangit… she lied to me’s!!!!!!!!! What do you think???

Today’s meal is beef stroganoff. I have adapted it from an old family recipe and cheapened it in doing so. It’s a good one dish meal, easy to make, but does take some time and preparation.

Needed:
1-2 lbs beef ( of some kind. The recipe origionally calls for cubed steak. I used the stew cut from the local kingsoopers. Cost about 3.50 a pound)
1 tbs garlic
1 onion
1 lbs mushrooms
1 can tomatoe soup
Worshtishire sauce

First thing is to marinade the beef. This isn’t entirely necessary but will definately pay off in the end. I used janes crazy salt, garlic pepper rub with Sierra Nevada double IPA. Marinade for as long as you want, I did about 4 hours.
Next oil the LAN and begin brazing the meat. Do this for 10-15 minutes or until all the meat is well browned.
Next throw in the garlic, onion, mushroom, and tomatoe soup. Let this simmer for 45 min or until the meat is tender. Add worshtisher sauce to taste, usually about 1-2 tbs. Thus can be served alone of on rice/egg noodles/mashed potatoes etc.
The cost for this meal was $7 for two pounds of meat, the onion was $.50, the soup $.80, mushrooms were $2.50. This yielded about four servings. So per serving we have $2.75, not bad for such a classy entree.

There is so much more to a man being “sexy” then the way he looks. A truly sexy man has more layers and more qualities other then being gorgeous. Some of them all they have to do it open their mouth and sexy leaves the room!! Not sure why People Magazine has such a bad track record on the Sexiest Man Alive issue.. They have only been right twice so far as long as they have been doing it.
Johnny Depp has been chosen this year to make him one of three that have been chosen twice… Now the question is… WHY WHY WHY were the other two chosen twice before Johnny? Are they basically oblivious? I mean I really like George Clooney.. he’s great, Brad Pitt.. yeah.. very nice… But JOHNNY is the WHOLE package.. totally.. He is a sweet, humble, talented, gracious, loving, family man, smart, AND funny. And to top it all off.. ain’t too bad to look at either which is just a cherry on top..

To a “few” of us.. Johnny has been #1 for a very very long time.. and doesn’t appear that it is going to change…. ever…

Now I know I’m a Dude,  and I know dudes shouldn’t be talking about sexiest men alive,  but if I was to talk about it ( I am already), then scrawny, goofy Johnny Depp would not be in my Top 200..  What say the masses ?

I really believe that friends are very special and meant to be treasured and loved. Johnny Depp does it in this flaky “throw away” world we seem to be living in. While most change friends, wives, and husbands as fast as you change your underwear.. easily discarding people like yesterdays garbage, Johnny still has his best friends that he has known since he was about 12!! He still is tight with them, he brings them into his projects, which all in all I think he does so he can spend time with them more then anything else.

Tim Burton is one of his best friends and Johnny and Tim’s wife Helena co-chaired an event in New York City last night at the Museum of Modern Art where they are displaying all the incredible creations that come out of Tim’s brain. Now that one is a brain you could most definitely get lost in.. and it might be scary.
But the man is pure genius, and the team of Depp-Burton has created some of the most memorable characters in the film industry. The really cool thing is it looks like this exhibit shows the beginning stages of all of their collaborations.

Johnny really seems to rally around his friends and always is careful not to upstage them when it is the friends “time” not his. He comes… he supports… he loves… They really broke the mold with him…. DAMMIT!!!!
Last month he was presenting the award to Keith Richards at the Scream Awards, few months before that he was supporting Tim at the ComiCon Event in Los Angeles.
I’m not sure if I have ever seen anyone go to the lengths he does for his friends, family and fans… his 3 F’s!
He seems to hold those three groups close to his heart and appreciates everyone and everything he has.
So many could take a page from his book that is a given.

Idag har det varit stora städdagen. Hyllor har dammats, golv har bonats, speglar har putsats, skåp har torkats, klosettskålar har polerats, diskar har diskats and so on. Jag har rusat omkring som självaste Askungen här i lägenheten. Fast där slutar också alla likheter. För Askungen hade ett par schyssta musvänner som sydde henne en klänning, en god ”Salagadoola mechicka boola, bibbidi bobbidi boo”-fe som pimpade en pumpa och så gifte hon sig med supersnygga prinsen och levde lycklig i alla sina dagar.

Själv sitter jag alldeles ensam på 22 (visserligen välstädade) kvadrat, i halvtrasiga mjukiskläder och glufsar i mig en Gorbys pirog klockan 01 en vardagsnatt. Men vafan, jag tänker inte sitta här och deppa ner mig. Imorgon är en ny dag. Och då slipper jag åtminstone städa.

The Sun announced today that Johnny Depp has in fact agreed to return for the next installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies (to the tune of $35 million), tentatively titled “On Stranger Tides.” The poster might look something like this:

Why might it look something like that? Why, because Disney has acquired a novel of the same name (whose cover I borrowed for the background), written by magnificient maestro of historical fantasy, Tim Powers. Interviewed by the LA Times, Powers had this (followed after the jump; beware, may be something of a spoiler) to say about Disney’s acquisition of his novel:

“I’ve watched all the movies several times, of course, and I think the clear thing they would use is the trip to the Fountain of Youth,” Powers said. “My main character doesn’t overlap with Jack Sparrow at all [in personality or circumstance]; they’re totally different characters. I suppose they might overlap the Geoffrey Rush character Barbossa and Blackbeard. The only thing I feel certain they will hold on to is the Fountain of Youth since they telegraphed that at the end of the last movie.”

Powers goes on to say that he’s not too bothered as to whether or not the movie strays or rings true to his book, hoping to enjoy the film (and its box office success) as part of the audience and in royalty checks. Indeed! Disney, one of the largest companies in the world can apparently shell out $35 million on one dude; not to mention the rest of the cast and crew and the cost of production.

Jeepers Mousketeers; give that sort of budget to the Methuselah Foundation and they’ll build you a freaking Fountain of Youth! The Foundation was founded by this guy, Dr. Aubrey de Grey:

A Beard that Awesome Has to Be Trusted

Dr. Aubrey de Grey, who has been kicking aging’s ass since 2000 after winning a Phd from Cambridge in recognition of his book, The Mitochondrial Free Radical Theory of Aging. Frankly I think he would make an awesome pirate. You hear that Disney? Cast this guy in your movie already! He has a real English accent and everything.

Idag har jag vaccinerat mig mot svininfluensan. På vägen dit så tänkte jag att visst vore det inte väldigt bra och passande om dom som producerar vaccinet, vet ej vilka, om deras slogan var “Vi skyddar dig med all kraft vi har mot svinen”? Precis som i texten till Kents nya låt Hjärta? 

Klara spekulerar kring atomer. Jag tänker på sudd och om varför de alltid försvinner. Jag vill också tänka bra, rätt, vackert och klokt. Men det gör jag inte. Varför är jag en purjolök medan alla andra är guldklockor från La Perla? Varför känner jag mig  falsk, korkad och bortskämd när jag egentligen har ett väldigt bra liv? Jag menar, jag har underbara vänner, skolgång, eget rum och egen dator, mina föräldrar är fantastiska, jag har lyxen att kunna fika i veckorna och jag har nyss klippt mig. Och ändå känns det som om något fattas eller är fel. Varför? 

Jag skyller på vädret. Såklart. Vem blir inte deprimerad av tunga moln och sura gator? En plaskig trottoar och svidande regn är inte bra för hälsan, inte inte inte alls. Tänk dig en gråmulen måndag i ett regnslaskigt November. Lägg på lite tidig morgon och matteprov så har du Depression No. 1. 

Suck. Men jag kan stå ut. Jag har banne mig härdats i 13 vintrar och en till kan väl inte skada? Jag tröstar mig med tjocktröjor, stearinljus, te och vänner. Det hjälper lite. Lite som en filt när man fryser.

Förlåt för deppet, men jag känner mig bara så förbannat trött, dåsig och lealös, nästan. Är det vaccinet? Jag säger som alla andra: Jag vill ha en sovmorgon. En lång, REM-sömnfylld sovmorgon (då jag ibland hinner vakna till kalas & konserter) men annars bara vilar, sover, kurerar mig, för att till slut vakna i ett soldammigt och vårluftigt rum, snygg och fräsch, och vara en 1) starkare 2) smartare 3) snyggare & 4) snällare person. 

Tänk vad bra. Men det är ju inte så, tyvärr. 6-7 timmars sömn är det jag har och man tager vad man haver. Puss och hej.

Uma fonte do tablóide ” The Daily Express” afirmou que quando Depp ficou sabendo da dívida de quase US$ 7 milhões (cerca de R$ 12 milhões) em impostos não pagos de Nicolas, enfiou a mão no bolso e ajudou o velho amigo.

So today we will try a soup, cookin poor Asian style. I found this recipe online oddly enough and spiced it up Jew style. It was an inexpensive hit at my place, let’s hope it works for you:

4 cups chicken broth
4 eggs (beaten)
1/4 cup of fresh chipped chives (green onions)
Ginger spice to taste
1-8 tsp salt
1 small can of sweet corn

Now prep is simple. Bring broth to a rolling boil, cut off the heat and very slowly pour in the eggs from at least a few inches above the lip of the pot. Make sure as you’re doing this that the soup has some swirl going, otherwise the eggs will clump into an unattractive mess.
Once all the eggs are added, throw in your chives, corn and spices. Let it all simmer a bit and you’re ready to go.
At this point you can also add some corn starch, this will thicken the soup considerably, making a great consistency.

So our ingredients were chicken stock $2.50, eggs $.17 each, chives $.50, and canned corn $.50. This will make 2 servings, so per serving our cost is $2 per meal. Not bad at all, and rather tasty.

Die fanden dann heraus, dass der junge Mann sich nur auf seine entsicherte Gaspistole gesetzt hatte. Da hat er noch mal Glück gehabt, dass es keine scharfe Wumme war. Die hätte ihm doch glatt den A… durchlöchern können! Die Polizei prüft nun, ob der Einsatz für den A… ein paar Euro mehr kosten darf.

Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow

Jerry Bruckheimer is developing a new movie based on The Lone Ranger, the popular western hero from radio plays and movie serials, and Johnny Depp is attached to play the Native American sidekick, Tonto.

Bruckheimer said to expect Depp to do for Tonto what he did with Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean.

“[Pirates writers Ted] Elliot and [Terry] Rossio worked on that also with some other writers and with Johnny [Depp],” Bruckheimer said in a group interview last week in Santa Monica, Calif. “So they’re creating something that has a kind of true-to-the-western [feel], but adding other additional elements like we did with Pirates so it won’t be just a straight-ahead western.”

Depp’s choice to play the Native American sidekick fits the actor’s quirky tastes. Bruckheimer has his work cut out for him finding a lead who can make a good Ranger to a superstar Tonto.
“We’re still creating a pretty wide net and figuring it out,” Bruckheimer said. “It comes down to who is available when we want to make it. We have a wish list.”
The Lone Ranger is in development for a tentative 2012 release date.
