The BBC visits Lorain Avenue in Cleveland to find out how the missing girls cases impacted a community

Ohio prosecutors have said they plan to seek aggravated murder charges that could carry the death penalty, against the man suspected of imprisoning three women for about a decade.

The charges relate to alleged forced miscarriages suffered by one victim.

Ariel Castro, 52, was arraigned in court earlier for the kidnap and rape of Amanda Berry, 27, Gina DeJesus, 23 and Michelle Knight, 32.

Ms Berry escaped on Monday and was able to raise the alarm.

Cuyahoga County prosecutor Tim McGinty said the murder charges were based on evidence from one of the women held captive in Mr Castro’s house that he had impregnated her, then physically abused and starved her in order to induce miscarriages.

‘Private prison’

“I fully intend to seek charges for each and every act of sexual violence, rape, each day of kidnapping, every felonious assault, all his attempted murders, and each act of aggravated murder he committed by terminating pregnancies that the offender perpetuated against the hostages during this decade-long ordeal,” Mr McGinty told a news conference.

“My office will also engage in a formal process in which we evaluate to seek charges eligible for the death penalty.

“This child kidnapper operated a torture chamber and private prison in the heart of our city,” he added.

Earlier on Thursday, Mr Castro appeared in court in Cleveland, handcuffed and dressed in blue overalls. He did not enter a plea.

He is charged with four counts of kidnapping, covering the three initial abduction victims and Jocelyn, Ms Berry’s six-year-old daughter, who was apparently conceived and born in captivity.

The former school bus driver also faces three counts of rape, one against each woman.

Cleveland rescue: The mystery of 2207 Seymour Avenue

Ariel Castro’s house at 2207 Seymour Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio, is yet to give up many of its secrets.

What lies inside the run-down clapboard house where Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight are said to have spent their captivity?

The house appears to have been the scene of a double life – as Mr Castro’s home and as a kidnap den where he is alleged to have held three women captive for almost a decade.

The two-storey building stands right in the middle of a tree-lined street in Cleveland’s West Side neighbourhood – a working-class area home to a close-knit community.

Few details have been confirmed about what it contains, but some facts are known.

Mr Castro bought the house in 1992 for $12,000 (£7,750), according to the Cuyahoga County Auditor’s office. In 2012, it was valued at $36,100 (£23,300).

The property currently faces repossession over the non-payment of taxes, with Mr Castro owing some $2,501 (£1,615) in taxes for the period 2010-12.

The property has four bedrooms, a bathroom, a 760sq ft (71sq m) basement, two porches and an attic. There is also a detached garage.

The continuing investigation and charges of kidnap and rape levelled at Mr Castro centre on what happened to the women while they were in the house.

Ariel Castro’s son, Anthony – who says he visited the house just two weeks ago – told MailOnline that the doors to the basement, the attic and the garage were always padlocked and family members were not allowed to go there.

Anthony Castro described his father as a violent and controlling man, who beat him and nearly killed his mother in the early 1990s.

After years of abuse, his mother decided to move out of the house in 1996, taking him and his three sisters with her, Mr Castro said.

“It’s astonishing to even think… that I was so close to that. That I was physically at the house two weeks ago while that was going on, it’s a lot to grasp,” he said.

What did Ariel Castro’s neighbours know?

Police are yet to release any pictures from the inside of the property, but one law enforcement official has described the conditions there as “abysmal at best”.

“They (the women) had no ability to leave the home or interact with anyone other than each other, the child and the suspect,” the official told the New York Times.

Media reports also suggest that the authorities have discovered chains and tape inside the house allegedly used to restrain the women.

A police report suggests the women were all initially kept chained in the cellar, but eventually allowed to live on the second floor of the house.

One report cites the victims as saying the “big inside door” of the home was usually locked when Mr Castro went out. On Monday, he apparently forgot to lock it as he went to a nearby McDonald’s.

Even so, Amanda Berry was afraid to break open the locked storm door because “she thought Ariel (Castro) was testing her,” said the police report.

Instead, she tried to get the attention of neighbours to help; her screams were heard by Charles Ramsey who lived across the street and came to the rescue.

Police say officers were sent to the house twice, in 2000 and 2004.

In March 2000, Ariel Castro reported a fight on the street – but no arrests were made. In January 2004 police went to the address after Mr Castro, then a school bus driver, reportedly left a child on a bus. No-one appeared to be in the house.

An investigation later found no criminal intent by Mr Castro, police told local news site Cleveland.com.

Several miscarriages

Rather than celebrating their birthdays, in a bizarre ritual, the captor would apparently give his victims cake to mark their “abduction day”, one victim’s cousin was quoted as telling US media.

In recent years, the kidnapper was occasionally seen walking in the area with a young girl – apparently Jocelyn, whom he fathered with Ms Berry and with whom he also visited relatives, reported the New York Times.

One cousin from Ohio said Mr Castro had visited with a well-presented girl a couple of years ago, whom the suspect had introduced as his granddaughter.

Apparently the suspect had insisted Jocelyn was not told the names of Ms Knight or Ms DeJesus in case she repeated them in public.

Episode 6: The Pod

“More like new kid,” a voice from my left, “you gotta earn your stripes.”

A woman. A pretty woman. Pretty enough that I momentarily forgot about Ace and smoothed back my hair and smiled at her.

“Hi,” I held out a hand damp with the blood running down my arm, “I’m Henry. And you are?”

Blonde hair pinned up, strikingly beautiful face, Wonder Woman figure. In a too-big button up shirt and snugly fitting shorts and sneakers. Her legs went from earth to infinity. She glanced at my hand, smiled. “Molly Morgana. Maybe we could shake another time. Besides, I think Knife may need our help.”

Knife was on the floor of the office, locked in deadly combat with the pink skeleton that was Ace, a.k.a. Aleci Jin Baxter, cross-dimensional smuggler xenomorph. Ace musta still been running low on energy, because he hadn’t yet melted through the floor. He was cuffed, but he had his big clawed feet digging into Knife’s stomach as Knife tried to flip Ace onto his back, and there was a lot of growling, hissing and snapping going occurring on both sides.

To prove to Molly that I was All That Is Man, I stepped over Ace, took him by the shoulders and hauled him upright. Ace upright in his natural form was eight foot tall, two foot taller than me, with one extra limb in the form of a naked pink tail. The first I knew about the tail was a squeezing around my calf, and then the ceiling was flying and I crashed down hard on my back. Ace leapt for the door. We were in an office, an office with a potted rose by the desk. Through the door I could make out a broad hallway, but nothing else. Knife lunged for Ace and missed. Molly, who Ace had knocked aside, had a moment where she pulsed blue, and then Ace stopped dead in the doorway.

He turned slowly.

“Hello,” he choked, his eyes wide and bugging downwards as if he were glaring at his mouth. “I’m sorry to have caused y’all trouble. And sorry, miss, for knocking you aside. By way of apology, Imma let you lock me up now.”

Ace bowed his head. I muttered, “What the actual…”

“It is not him speaking,” Knife said, moving towards Ace. “Molly here possesses formidable psychic ability.”

“I’m a super human,” Molly told me brightly, “a super super human, actually. I have a lot of useless talents.”

Wow. Super wow. “Seems pretty useful to me.”

We followed Knife and Ace down the hall. It was too wide for just humans, the doorways double width and ten foot high. Offices branched off left and right, variously decorated versions of the one with the potted rose. One I saw was so full of plants that only the shape of the desk could be made out. Others were simple and plain, with only a few photos.

At the end of the hall we turned into a shallow foyer where huge bucket seats lined one wall and small human chairs lined another. A counter was set into the wall opposite a dark glass door. I could faintly make out a pedestrian bridge leading onto an avenue beyond the glass. A cluster of buildings hunched across the avenue. The air was fresh, smelling slightly metallic. Definitely piped around the office. A very cute 20-something girl with headphones on sat behind the counter, looking bored.

Knife grinned at the girl. “Clacey. J’ai un fugitif pour toi.”

“Très bien,” she nodded. She slid a slip of pink paper over the counter to Knife. Her big hooded eyes found me. “Et vous? Vous êtes nouveau?”

“Non, non,” went Knife, “Il parle anglais.”

“Oh,” went Clacey. She snapped her gum. “In that case, are you new? Recruit, arrest?”

“Recruit. My name’s Henry Falcon.”

“Oh la la,” Clacey sang. “Le faucon. Papa Defoe sera très heureux.”

Knife chuckled. Ace flinched and Knife slammed him against the counter. “Non, non, non, Ace. Don’t move. Is there a holding cell free?”

“They’re all free.”

“And is Defoe-”

A plump pink face appeared around the corner leading to what I assumed were the holding cells. The face had beetle eyes and small eyebrows and moustache which had apparently been drawn on with black marker. The hair was combed over to conceal a balding spot too large to be concealed by such a small amount of hair.

“Knife! Bring him through here, you and Clacey can get him settled in his cell. You know to activate the safety locks? I assume he needs a breath of gas.”

Frowning, Knife hauled Ace into the hallway. “Yes. Do you think I’m stupid?”

“Ohhhh,” went the plump man, “I never meant it like that. You’re too sensitive. And you call yourself a man!”

“I’m not a man! I’m a wolf! Y faut pas êt’ si bête!”

Knife stalked away. Clacey slipped from behind the counter and hurried after him. I glanced at Molly. “I don’t understand a word of French.”

She smiled softly in return. “You will. Let me introduce you to Daddy Defoe.”

The plump man, hearing his name, drew fully around the corner. White shirt, sharply ironed slacks, string tie. Detective material. He held out a hand to me, saw the blood, and said, “Parlez vous anglais? English, yes? You should have that injury looked at. Perhaps Morgana could find you a handkerchief.”

Molly leant over and plucked a polka dot handkerchief from Defoe’s shirt pocket. She passed it to me. I pressed it up under my shirt sleeve against my shoulder and tried to look like it hadn’t hurt to have my skin opened by a flying piece of brick.

“Thanks,” I said to Molly, nodded at Defoe. “Henry Falcon.”

“Oh, Falcon. Falcon, I like that. That’s a strong name. Ah hah,” Defoe wriggled a finger my way. “I can see big things in your future if you stick with us, Falcon. You want to join us, then, at the IDA?”

Either the joke, the coma dream or the terrifying reality continued. I struggled to smile. Calm and confidence, the tools of a soldier, no matter how much you had to lie to pretend they were real. “Yeah. I’ve heard good things. I hope I can be an asset to you.”

“Mais oui,” Defoe chortled, “with five hundred thousand employees spread over four hundred thousand planets and one of the highest mortality rates in the known multiverse, your presence alone is sure to be an asset. But with a name like Falcon… I could do things with a name like Falcon.”

“Sir. Highest mortality rate…?”

“Si.” Defoe’s eyes narrowed. “You must be at least partly suicidal to be here, to be able to answer l’appel du vide. Don’t tell me you’re having second thoughts about it.”

“Uh, no.”

“Good. Because it’s when you get soft that you make mistakes. Don’t get soft, Falcon. Stay alive.”

Stay alive. By not caring if I died.

Why did he have to tell me that, just as life was getting interesting?

I was shown the holding cells. Ten of them in a row, various sizes. The smallest was the size of a shoebox, the largest a barn. Still, the preference seemed to be for human-sized bodies.

Molly and Defoe, who I learnt was the chief of what he called the pod, then showed me the warehouses connected to the offices. I learnt there were so many IDA agents that they had a world of their own, a world BUD had claimed since no life had ever spawned there. It was largely shallow ocean, towns and cities built on the warm surface.

The massive number of employees in the Interdimensional Detective Agency were split into pods. Each pod was composed of one office, which enough room to serve fifteen agents and secretaries and one chief. Each office was connected to a dormitory shared by the employees, which might be from fifteen different worlds. Then there were the warehouses, two of them, one full of doorways to different worlds and a file-based database with information about those worlds. The other warehouse contained props and costumes to help agents blend into alien cultures. Each pod serviced twenty unique worlds. Some had life, some had none. Some connected to BUD sovereign worlds, which Molly explained were worlds which had signed the Interdimensional Travel Convention. My Earth was not one. I was a little disappointed.

Agents in each pod pursued cases only for the worlds their pod serviced. They might confer with other pods when necessary. Eight pods made up a town, a hundred towns made up a city, sixty three pod cities made up the world. A sixty fourth city was given entirely to administration.

“Worlds are assigned a sequential number as they are discovered,” Molly explained as we strolled past rows of costumes, suits and armour and dresses and coats and hats and leaves and odd bits of horn. “Each pod is assigned worlds by sequence rather than by a common element. So, rather than having a bunch of sentient plant worlds or a bunch of places where the United States conquered the planet, we have worlds #250864 to #250883. We’re more familiar with some than others. Mainly we’re active on planets with sentient lifeforms, because it’s the smart ones who gets themselves in the most trouble. Also worlds where a large quantity of rare resources have developed, such as naturally occurring high-density carbon fibres.”

“They exist?”

Molly nodded. We’d left Defoe behind to argue in French with Knife about how to keep Ace alive and in his cell. “Everything exists,” she said, “somewhere.”

And that was another lovely thing. Molly. She was American, mid-west, or at least what I would call mid-west. Her America was a little different. For one, everyone had super powers. I asked her if I went to her world, if I would also have super powers.

“Sure,” she agreed, and she looked me up and down and smiled. “You’d have super strength, right?”

I’d just spent two months in hospital and my once strong body was thin and soft. I appreciated the compliment. “Uh huh. What’s your power? Human sock puppets?”

“Mm. I do a bit of everything. I’ll show you one day soon.” Molly caught my eye. “If you’re serious about being a detective, maybe you want to do a case with me?”

I spent a second too long staring at her. She laughed.

“I’m not like Knife; I don’t bite.”

“Ha. No, no, of course not.” I forced myself to look away from Molly. There were some nice dresses on the wall. Yeah, I was all over dresses, me. “I just hope you’ll be an asset to me. I mean, uh, I hope I can help your assets. Man!” I stopped, took a deep breath, glanced at Molly who was laughing quietly. “What I mean to say is, thank you.”

“You’re welcome. Oh, by the way. Just so you know, Henry, I don’t date.”

Yeah, saw that coming. “Oh yeah?” Wait a minute. “You mean, at all?”

She shook her head, blonde hair bouncing on her shoulders. “Not at all.”

“That’s kinda weird. Uh. Not weird, uh, odd. That’s an odd choice. Why is that, Molly?”

“I don’t see the point.” She shrugged. “I don’t like to put myself out there like that.”

“That’s a shame,” I said, my bubble of an ego popping in my chest. I gave her a smile I didn’t half mean. Didn’t quite need that kick in the guts. My mouth started speaking faster than my brain. “Personally I love putting myself out there. Even just a little. Getting shot down, bang. Gotta love it.”

I walked away from her then, because I’d been assigned quarters, and hell if I was gonna stand here making any more of a fool of myself.

“Oh Henry, I didn’t mean it that way!”

I turned to her, pacing backwards, hands up. “Hey, it’s no big deal. I just met you. It’s uh, you want to be upfront, I appreciate that. Now I been here two hours and I really gotta use the can. That’s not too alien, huh? Can you point me in the right direction?”

I knew where they were. Molly knew I knew. She pointed them out anyway. “Third door on your right.”

My quarters in the pod were small, perfunctory. But I had a privacy the army lacked, and my sister’s place had lacked almost as much. A bed, a small desk, a wardrobe. Stock human issue stuff. Five of the six walls were painted silvery grey, the last was wallpapered dark blue with a sparrow motif. It was kinda nice. Kinda relaxing. I sat on the bed with my head in my hands trying to think what I could say to make it up to Molly. There’s nothing quite like making a big freak out of yourself on the first day of a new job.

There was a knock on the door, and Knife let himself into the room. He whistled. “Whoo, you got a nice place.”

“Yeah.”

He took a seat on the desk. “I heard you got turned down by Molly.”

“That’s one way to put it. I didn’t even ask her out.”

“Oui, I didn’t believe you moved so quickly.” Knife frowned lightly. “Don’t worry about it, eh? She does this to everyone.”

“Right.”

“And she must feel bad about it. She asked to be assigned a mission with you.”

The opportunities for embarrassing myself seemed endless. But still, that night, as I lay on the bed thinking of all the things I had seen that day, feeling the good ache of hard work in my body, knowing that if I could prove myself then I would have a job to defy all expectation, an entirely unfamiliar sensation came over me.

Hope.

It was an early Saturday afternoon when we decided to take the kids for a walk and some lunch on beautiful Pacific Coast Highway in Laguna Beach.

As we were walking we heard a strange chant and percussion-type music behind us.  It was  a procession of Krishna worshippers coming through.  In Hinduism and other eastern religions, Krishna is an avatar, or a physical representation of the supreme god Vishnu.

One of the members of this faith came over to me to invite my family to their family friendly temple.  Having studied the Bible and Christian apologetics more intensely in recent years I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to engage in theological discussion and see where these folks come from.

From the very beginning I told her that I worship the One and only Triune God as revealed in the Bible.

This led to a startling revelation.  The woman informed that she too is a Christian (Catholic) and that she worships Krishna and Christ… and that Krishna and Christ really come from the same “root word.” This of course is the opposite of truth.

She went on to explain how their supreme god is incarnated in different avatars, our Savior Jesus Christ being an example, and how they invite everyone to worship their personal avatar collectively with them.  Everything was about positivity and love, blah, blah, blah… Again the opposite of biblical truth.

Whenever a syncretic discussion of this sort ensues, I highly recommend to Christians to focus on one part of the Gospel: the depravity of man.  

I am referring to the fallen state of man, the evil that men do, the suffering and depravity that exists in the human race.  Expose their way of tackling this most central issue and how man can be redeemed.

She said she believes in the purity of the human soul (whatever that means) and that our mind is merely under influence.

Really?  If that is so, if the human soul is that pure, how is it that a Boston Marathon bomber or a Newtown shooter premeditated and carried out such evil acts out of his “pure” heart?  Why can’t one’s purity overcome such “influences?”

Of course she had no coherent answer, because the real answer lies in human hate and disobedience toward the Real God, our Creator. These people are blinded and they are not able to see their fallen nature.  If they stopped for two minutes to analyze the anger, the jealousy, the adultery, the greed that we all harbor in our hearts, they would realize that we are not pure at all.  They would realize we are in dire need of a perfect Savior.

There is no faith or religion on this planet that is able to resolve this depravity of man, other than the faith that claims that the perfect God Himself redeemed us via His Own sacrifice.

The most ironic thing is that the various avatars and incarnations of the gods of their religions suffer from the same shortcomings as humans: sexual desire and sin, jealousy, hate, war, etc. The very beings they worship are not perfect beings.

Be aware that they quickly turn the discussion to extremely abstract terms.  Instead of wrestling with real issues like why murder and adultery exist, they will go off on abstract tangents of dualism influence, mind over matter, meditation for purity, and such.

Instead of wasting precious time in discussing things in complex philosophical terms, be simple, and be direct.

Man was created in the image of God, but man fell due to disobedience and deserves eternal death.  In His Sovereignty and by grace, God made possible the redemption of man only by believing and obeying Christ, the perfect God-Man who redeemed us by His sacrifice.  Believers in Christ are saved from damnation and are made perfect again in the image of God upon their glorification.

That is the simple and direct gospel that non-Christian worshipers must hear.

How much more simple is this “foolishness” (1 Corinthians 1) compared to thousands and millions of gods and their stories and abstract explanations?

If only there were a toggle switch powerful enough.

The first is the case of abortionist Kermit Gosnell. The depravity of his operation is unfathomable. The slaughterhouse that lined his silken pockets operated freely. For decades, he flaunted his atrocities in a world willing to give him cover. Gosnell and his cohorts drank the blood of progressivism, which both empowered and protected them. Their shared cause obscured their brutality, and rationalized it as the price of “choice.”

The bottom line, apart from the millions it generated for Gosnell’s retirement, was an unending stream of tiny, broken bodies, many with spines snipped by killers whose consciences were seared by deception and sin. Other victims, some dismembered by suction, were stacked in the fridge next to bologna sandwiches and bottles of pop.

Unfathomable, indeed.

Gosnell committed mass murder and called it service to women. Others subscribed to the rationale; when Gosnell’s day in court came, so-called journalists never showed up. Reporting the story would have exposed the sordid reality of progressive pogroms. So courtroom seating reserved for the press remained empty, day after day. With a handful of exceptions, the media thought it more noble to suppress the story of mass murder than to risk the future of their beloved holocaust.

God help us.

The Benghazi case is strangely similar. Today, the on-the-ground account was heard for the first time since the consulate attack in September of last year. Whistleblower testimony confirmed two things millions already knew: (1) military assistance was withheld from those in mortal danger (2) President Obama and then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton fabricated and/or authorized fabrications and/or endorsed fabrications of the facts.

They then peddled these fabrications without compunction.

Like Kermit Gosnell, they found in their cause a rationale so powerful, it obscured the brutality of the bottom line, which was dishonor and death to Americans who served with valor. And, as in Gosnell’s case, the rationale found willing accomplices at every turn. The press, those in the President’s party, and even adoring citizens turned a blind eye to the truth.

Their obeisance will cost them. One day, it will devour their last morsel of freedom.

God help us.

Ariel Castro will be charged with four counts of kidnapping and three counts of rape in the case of the three women in Cleveland, Ohio. Onil and Pedro Castro do not face charges at this time.

CLEVELAND — The man at whose home three women were found after a decade of captivity was charged Wednesday with multiple counts of kidnapping and rape.

Ariel Castro, 52, faces three counts of rape and four counts of kidnapping involving victims Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus, and Michelle Knight. The three vanished between 2002 and 2004. Castro was also charged with kidnapping in connection with Berry’s six-year-old daughter, Jocelyn, who was also found at the home Monday and is believed to be Castro’s child.

Authorities revealed little about their investigation into the case, which is on-going, but said they had gathered hundreds of pieces of evidence. The felony charges against Castro came 48 hours after Berry – now 27 – made a frantic flight from Castro’s Seymour Avenue home early Monday evening. Authorities say that may have been the first opportunity any of the victims had to escape captivity.

Castro is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday at 8:30 a.m. Additional charges could be filed at a later date. Police reports say Castro allegedly lured all three into his car on three separate occasions.

Castro’s brothers, Pedro and Onil, were also arrested Monday. But Victor Perez, chief deputy prosecutor for Cleveland, said there is no evidence that either – who did not live at the Seymour Ave. home – had any involvement in the crimes against the three women or Berry’s daughter. Both face Thursday court hearings on outstanding misdemeanor warrants, Perez said.

Earlier Wednesday, Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus returned to their Cleveland homes, where they were surrounded by family and friends. Knight was still in a Cleveland hospital Wednesday.

DeJesus, wearing a lime green hoodie, stepped from a car, and gave a thumbs up as the crowd chanted “Gina! Gina!” A woman then pulled her into a tight embrace and hustled her inside through a forest of flowers and balloons.

Nancy Ruiz, DeJesus’ mother, thanked those who had helped the family over the past nine years. “Even the ones that doubted, I want to thank them the most,” she said. “They’re the ones that made me stronger, the ones that made me feel the most that my daughter was out there.”

Gina’s aunt, Sandra Ruiz, called on friends, relatives and the media “to give us time and privacy to heal.”

“There are not enough words to say or express the joy that we feel with the return of our family member, Gina,” she said. “And now Amanda Berry, the daughter, and Michelle Knight, who is our family also.”

Ruiz also called on the community to help search for Ashley Summers, another young woman from the area who went missing at the age of 14 in 2007.

Psychiatrist DID warn police about Holmes: Cache of documents reveals James Holmes text threats and how he kept a Batman mask in apartment

James Holmes text messaged and emailed threats to his psychologist and kept a Batman mask and dozens bottles of beer and liquor at his apartment, a new cache of documents released today reveals.

On June 12, University of Colorado – Denver psychologist Lynne Felton called campus police and reported that Holmes, who had been her patient but stopped seeing her, had been harassing her and that she believed he was having homicidal thoughts.

Officers responded by deactivating Holmes’ student ID card, which blocked his access to building at the Anschutz Medical Campus, where he had been a student.

The revelations came today after Judge William Sylvester unsealed search warrants from the investigation into the July 20 2012 shooting at a midnight screening of ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ that killed 12 people and left 58 wounded.

Holmes has pleaded not guilty and his lawyers claim he is mentally ill. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.

The new documents show that police seized chemical formulas, bottles of chemicals and a Batman mask from his apartment.

They also found 50 cans and bottles of beer and liquor, including Bacardi 151 rum and Jim Beam Black bourbon.

Holmes appears to have kept few personal items at his apartment.

“Help me, I’m Amanda Berry.”

With one frantic 911 call on Monday evening, three women missing for years were found in a Cleveland house where they had been held against their will by three brothers, police in Ohio said.

“I’ve been kidnapped,” Berry, who disappeared a decade ago, told the dispatcher. “I’ve been missing for 10 years and I’m out here. I’m free now.”

Authorities heaped praise on Berry, now 27 and the mother of a 6-year-old.

“The real hero here is Amanda,” said Deputy Police Chief Ed Tomba.

Berry and two other women, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight, went missing between 2000 and 2004 in separate incidents. The women were all between the ages of 14 and 20 when they vanished.

Neighbors and relatives celebrated the happy ending, but for some, the years had taken their toll. Berry’s mother died in 2006, not knowing whether her daughter was alive or dead.

Three suspects are under arrest — former school-bus driver Ariel Castro, 52, and his brothers Pedro, 54, and O’Neal, 50, Cleveland police said. A search warrant related to the arrest was executed by police at an address on Seymour Avenue in Cleveland, police said.

Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson said at a Tuesday press conference that there are many unanswered questions: “Why were they taken, how they were taken and how they remained undetected in the city of Cleveland for all this time?”

The three women were taken to nearby Metro Health Medical hospital, along with Berry’s child, officials said.

All three women were released from the hospital Tuesday morning, the hospital said in a statement, after reporting earlier in the morning that they had been in “fair condition.”

“The nightmare is over,” said Cleveland FBI Special Agent in Charge Stephen Anthony. “These three young ladies have provided us with the ultimate definition of survival and perseverance. The healing can now begin.”

The three disappearances had stumped police in Cleveland and shaken the community for years. Berry was reported missing on April 21, 2003 after she phoned her sister to say she was getting a ride home from her job at a fast food restaurant. About one year after that, 14-year-old DeJesus vanished while walking home from school.

Police said their records showed two visits to the home in recent years. In 2000, they responded to a call about a fight from Ariel Castro. In 2004, after Castro was accused of leaving a child on a bus, authorities went to the house but no one was home.

Authorities said they never stopped looking for the missing women, running down tips and even digging up two backyards. The break came when Berry summoned the courage to escape.

Neighbor Charles Ramsey said he was at home when he saw a man from across the street running to the house next door. When Ramsey went outside, he said, he saw a young woman who said she was trying to escape the house.

“This girl is kicking the door and screaming,” Ramsey said. “She says, ‘I’ve been kidnapped and I’ve been in this house a long time and I want to leave right now.’”

When the door would not open Ramsey helped kick it down, he said, then allowed Berry to call 911. The young woman carried her child through the broken door, and told Ramsey it belonged to her captor. It’s unclear who is the child’s father.

Police then entered the house and brought out DeJesus and Knight, according to Ramsey.

Police said they have not fully debriefed the victims.

“You can only imagine the scene last night at the hospital with the family and the friends…it was chaotic,” Tomba said.

‘Can I help?’ Neighbor Charles Ramsey tells of role in discovery of missing women

Neighbor Charles Ramsey has told how he heard screams coming from an Ohio home and went to investigate — a decision that led to the discovery of three women missing for years.

To the neighbors, the house on Seymour Avenue in Cleveland seemed normal. There was nothing to indicate that inside — in addition to the resident they had come to know — were women who had disappeared in separate cases about a decade ago.

That changed on Monday.

“This girl is kicking the door and screaming,” Ramsey told NBC station WKYC-TV. “So I go over there … and I say, ‘Can I help? What’s going on?’ And she says, ‘I’ve been kidnapped, and I’ve been in this house a long time. I want to leave right now.’”

Ramsey, who lived across the street and let the woman use his phone to call 911, described being stunned when he realized that the woman was Amanda Berry, who had been missing for 10 years.

Ramsey told reporters he had barbecued with the 52-year-old man who lived in the house. Police said that the man and two of his brothers, ages 50 and 54, had been arrested.

There were more surprises to come for Ramsey, other neighbors and the police. Also found in the house were Gina DeJesus, 23, who had been missing for nine years, and Michelle Knight, 30, who had been missing for 11 years.

Neighbor Mike Iwais, who has lived for years in a house just a couple of hundred feet from where the women were found, told The Plain Dealer newspaper of his shock.

“I used to see him walking around all the time,” the paper quoted him as saying. “But I never saw nothing crazy. This is unbelievable. It’s a miracle they found him, and it’s a miracle those girls are alive. It’s a blessing from God.”

Ariel Castro padlocked the doors leading to his basement, his attic and his garage and never allowed his family inside, his son has exclusively revealed to MailOnline.

Chilling photographs from 2001 show a grinning Castro, who is accused of holding three women captive for a decade, standing in front of a locked door – behind which unimaginable horrors may have been unfolding in the basement.

By that point, one of his alleged victims, Michele Knight, had already been missing for a year.

In an interview with MailOnline, his son Anthony Castro, 31, has spoken of his shock at his father’s alleged crimes and revealed how Ariel Castro asked him just weeks ago whether he believed the kidnapping of Amanda Berry – one of his victims – would ever be solved.

‘If it’s true that he took her captive and forced her into having sex with him and having his child and keeping her hidden and keeping them from sunlight, he really took those girls’ lives,’ he said.

‘He doesn’t deserve to have his own life anymore. He deserves to be behind bars for the rest of her life. I’m just thankful they’re alive.’

Among his infrequent contact with his father, who separated from his mother in the 1990s, one recent conversation particularly stands out in Anthony’s mind.

In mid-April, he says, his father asked him whether he thought police would ever find Amanda Berry, who escaped the Cleveland home on Monday afternoon.

When Anthony said he thought Berry was likely dead because she had been missing so long, Ariel responded: ‘Really? You think so?’

At that time, according to police, Berry was locked in the basement of his father’s home.

‘The house was always locked,’ remembered Anthony, who appeared visibly tired but reacted with poise throughout the interview. ‘There were places we could never go. There were locks on the basement. Locks on the attic. Locks on the garage.’

Ariel Castro, 52, was arrested with his two brothers, 54-year-old Pedro and 50-year-old Onil after Berry, now 26, dramatically escaped from the house on Monday, a decade after she vanished.

Berry was rescued from the home, along with 23-year-old Gina DeJesus, who disappeared in April 2004 at age 14, and 32-year-old Michele Knight, who vanished in 2000 when she was 20.

The women and a six-year-old girl who was born to Berry while she was in captivity were whisked away to hospital. They have now been released and are in a safe location, authorities said.

Details have started to emerge of the horrors they experienced in the house, with authorities reportedly discovering chains and tape to restrain the girls inside the home.

Police sources also told NewsChannel5 that there were multiple pregnancies among the three women but that they suffered miscarriages after they were beaten or because they were so malnourished.

The Castros’ close links to the long-running investigation have also emerged. Pedro Castro told a TV crew last July that a police forensic excavation being conducted in the neighborhood for Berry’s body was ‘a waste of time’.

Speaking to MailOnline on Tuesday, Anthony Castro, a banker who lives in Columbus, Ohio, depicted his father as a violent, controlling man who nearly beat his mother to death in 1993 while she was recovering from brain surgery.

Speaking to MailOnline from his apartment, which is dotted with numerous family pictures, Anthony said his father was secretive and barred him from entering certain rooms when he wasn’t around.

Anthony said he last visited his father’s home two weeks ago, though he was not invited inside. He said he never suspected that his father could be keeping three women captive in the basement.

‘The only thing I can express is a tremendous level of shock,’ he said. ‘To those girls, it’s beyond comprehension what happened to them. It’s just a nightmare. I just feel so horrible for them. Unspeakably horrible.’

Ariel’s ex-wife Grimilda ‘Nilda’ Figueroa – Anthony’s mother – moved Mr Castro and his three sisters out of Ariel’s house in 1996 after years of violent abuse.

Anthony said he now speaks with his father just a few times a year – and seldom visits his house.

‘I haven’t been at that house for longer than 20 minutes for longer than I can remember,’ he said. ‘And we’re talking since high school. Late 90s.’

Anthony said neither he nor his three sisters have had much of a relationship with Ariel Castro.

‘Having that relationship with my dad all these years when we lived in a house where there was domestic violence and I was beaten as well… we never were really close because of that and it was also something we never really talked about,’ he said.

Oh humility, you elusive little slut. Humility is the difference between the bravery, and I do mean bravery, in asking for help when you truly need it and being so stubborn and head strong you sink silently into the sand-trap of your own demise.

Recently, I was asked to speak at a meeting.  In my mind this could go either of two ways. Firstly, I could do what I naturally am inclined to do, to preform and be the spin doctor of my own personal brand of bullshit. I would tell my story sooooo well, sooooo heart-wrenching and captivating that the whole room would be on the edge of their seats, knuckles white from their fists clenched on the edge of their folding chairs, coffee untouched, coins passed to the front in solemn reverence to me, their fearless leader.  I would touch on the bitter and calamitous lows, give them a high to end all highs by making their hearts soar with hope and dreams of a better tomorrow, all the while being riotously funny/ endearing and raucously entertaining. Forget anonymity. After my share Oprah and Diane Sawyer would be clamoring for my story. Begging me to grace the masses, at large, with my experience strength and hope. Or, or….. I would share my story to a room of dead silence. Not even tempered by crickets or a clearing of the throat or a conciliatory nod or charity laugh. After sharing, men in white coats would suddenly appear in every doorway and I would be 302-ed/ Baker acted/ involuntarily committed never to be seen from or heard of ever again.

In truth, and much to my chagrin, it was neither. I told my story and was received mainly with understanding, acceptance and some indifference. I was loath to admit that most likely I didn’t cause any spontaneous revelations, break any hearts, or make any lame children walk or help cripples to dance. I was at best mundane and at worst forgettable. Today I am grateful to be mundane. At least I am not being subdued in leather restraints or investigated by homeland security.

If you are being investigated by homeland security you are doing something wrong.

The Sound and the Fury, written by William Faulkner, the corrected text published by Vintage International in 1984, but originally published in 1928 and (the Appendix) 1946.

It is shocking how long it took me to get into this book. I don’t really like to know too much about a book before I read it, but without some background information, I found this book almost impossible. However, once I figured out that the stream of consciousness narration would not last the whole novel, I was able to move ahead and even enjoy parts of it.

I find myself wondering what about this book makes it one of the best American books ever written. The only two answers I can come up with are: 1) It is historically important to an understanding of the South between the Civil War and modern times; 2) It is important to literature for the advancement of stream of consciousness writing and various other (then) experimental types of writing (change in point of views, experimentation with punctuation, etc.). It was difficult to enjoy, certainly, but there is a kind of brilliance here, none the less. If you enjoy American history or  literature for literature’s sake, this is a good read. If you want to chill at the beach, don’t bother packing it.

For one thing, it is almost completely depraved. If books succeed based on whether or not people love and identify with the characters, then this book–like a lot of other literary fiction–makes no sense to the masses. There are some beautiful passages, but not enough for me to like it for that reason. What I did like, eventually, was the way the four sections worked together to make a whole story; one you wanted to see come to a conclusion (which, again like lots of literary fiction, sort of did and sort of did not). I enjoyed how we started out on one day, back-tracked to a day in the past when a very pivotal event happened, came back to the day before the first day, and ended with the day after, and how it mattered who was dictating the events of each day.

I have to say I do not agree with Faulker’s adding the Appendix some twenty years after the publication of the book. I think it’s a bit boring and unnecessary. I don’t think he adds anything to the book with the family history, even though he claims it is the “key” to the novel. We already get or feel or understand all that he adds later.

About the innovative use of language: The first section is narrated–in stream of consciousness–by a severely mentally handicapped character. I think you can see how it is then extremely challenging to read and follow. The next section is narrated–again in stream of consciousness–by a neurotic character who is slowing deteriorating into depression and eventually suicide. A little easier to read, but not by much. Lots of people consider this an even more difficult section than the previous. Third section, finally some narration that is not stream of consciousness (swooping between Jason’s thoughts and what is happening around him), but is still narrated by a greedy, cold-hearted racist. Last section finally has an outside narrator. Faulkner also uses italics, lack of punctuation, lower case letters, and writing dialect to create a pretty crazy piece of 1920s literature. As a modern reader, I find tricks like these to be more distracting than effective (especially the dialect). Because of all these bells and whistles, I strongly suggest a character list before delving into the first section. Faulkner is also a bit the king of run-on sentences.

And when I think about it, the majority of story in this novel is what I might think of as back-story. In other words, there’s not a whole lot of plot development, just mainly character development and musings on the deterioration of the old South.

“Because no battle is ever won he said. They are never even fought. The field only reveals to man his own folly and despair, and victory is an illusion of philosophers and fools” (p76).

“You cant know and he said Yes. On the instant when we come to realize tragedy is second-hand” (p116).

“They all talked at once, their voices insistent and contradictory and impatient, making of unreality a possibility, then a probability, then an inconvertible fact, as people will when their desires become words” (p117).

“It was nothing. Just sound. It might have been all time and injustice and sorrow become vocal for an instant by a conjunction of planets” (p288).

“Along its quiet length white people in bright clumps moved churchward, under the windy bells, walking now and then in the random and tentative sun” (p290).

“Dilsey sat bolt upright, her hand on Ben’s knee. Two tears slid down her fallen cheeks, in and out of the myriad coruscations of immolation and abnegation and time” (p295).

The title is to have come from Shakespeare’s Macbeth: “Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow, / Creeps in this petty pace from day to day / To the last syllable of recorded time, / And all our yesterdays have lighted fools / The way to dusty death. Out, out, brief candle! / Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player / That struts and frets his hour upon the stage / And then is heard no more: it is a tale / Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, / Signifying nothing.”  But there is also this: “Jason told him, his sense of injury and impotence feeding upon its own sound, so that after a time he forgot his haste in the violent cumulation of his self justification and his outrage. The sheriff watched him steadily with his cold shiny eyes” (p303).

In the morning hours of May 2, 2013, Jerusalem Time, the political news everybody had predicted since the elections in January was announced. Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, the spiritual leader of the Ultra-Orthodox Shas party announced that Arieh Deri is returning to lead the political party. Deri has recently announced his intentions to stand against the ultra-secular government leading Israel while Minister of Finances Yair Lapid made unprecedented antireligious declarations in the Knesset. Jewish-Wars are in the air.

Shas was founded in 1984 by dissident members of Agudat Israel. In the last elections, the party won 11 seats (out of 120) in the Knesset, the same it had in the previous one. Yet, it lost its place in Netanyahu’s secular coalition; this is seen by Shas as a disaster since its educational system depends heavily on its being part of the government.

Since its foundation, the party has been under the ideological leadership of Rabbi Ovadia Yosef. He was born in 1920 in Iraq. In 1973, he was elected Sephardic Chief Rabbi of Israel, a post that he held for seven years. He is widely recognized as a prominent Talmudic scholar and leading Halakhic (Talmudic Law) authority. Both Shas and Yosef are considered a threat by the secular segments of society.

At first, Yosef looks as the epitome of the unholy alliance between Jewish Ultra-Orthodoxy and Zionists; created in the 19^th century, this alliance allowed the foundation of the State of Israel. After all, he was the first prominent rabbi to proclaim himself “Zionist.”^*

Yet, two other parts of his doctrine transform him into undesirable in the eyes of Jewish secularists. First, he opposes a secular state. Yosef opposes bringing civil actions to Israeli courts because they decide outcomes by applying Israeli law rather than Jewish-Halakha. Rejecting the legal system equals rejecting the foundations of the State of Israel, and thus discloses the party’s intention of founding a future Halakhic state, based on the Talmud.

Second, he is promoting a cultural unification of the various Jewish liturgical traditions. This is extremely important; he preaches the unification of all traditions according to the “Shulchan Aruch” published by Yosef Karo in 1563. The name means “Set Table” and is the most extensive Code of Jewish Law. It generally follows Sephardi traditions. Shortly afterwards, Rabbi Moses Isserles published his notes to the “set table,” usually known as “mappah” (tablecloth). The combination is an acceptable way of solving liturgical discrepancies among the bulk of Jews, namely Sephardic and Ashkenazi. This scares the State to death; as often analyzed in this website, Israel favors policies of “Divide and Rule.” Unification of Jewish traditions is a real threat to the Humanist-fanatic state.

Shas is an Israeli ultra-orthodox religious political party representing Sephardic and Mizrahi Haredi Jews; Avigdor Lieberman represents Russian immigrants, occupies the second place in the Likud Beiteinu list after Netanyahu and is ultra-secular. He is what Shas-voters will call in a derogative manner a “hyrax-eater.” The latter are not kosher; thus this equals to calling him a pagan. He is unlikely to put a kipah upon his head unless threatened with a weapon; in that case, he wouldn’t be smiling the way he does in the poster. Text reads: “Only a strong Shas will prevent assimilation.”

Killing Shas

Since the late 1980s, Shas has been targeted by the State of Israel as an undesirable party. Since its views are legal, the State adopted a different tactic: entrapment. In the Zionist Paradise, entrapment is the State’s favorite way of achieving revenge, its highest value. Shas got political prominence thanks to a charismatic follower of Ovadia Yosef. Aryeh Deri became the political leader of Shas and a government minister at the age of 24. His becoming prime minister in the near future seemed a fact. Alas, in 2000, he was entrapped in a bribe affair and sent to jail. He was replaced by Eli Yishai, who lacks the charisma of Deri. Shas strength deteriorated. Other leaders of the party were framed using similar tactics; nobody had warned them that the State uses illegitimate means.

In late 2012, Deri decided to return to politics, and was placed second on Shas’ list behind Eli Yishai. Regardless of the situation, Deri makes smart decisions. Shas campaign is not centering on his return despite its being the main news of this campaign but in the evils of the secular state. On December 27, 2012, Aryeh Deri said about Likud, “once the party of the people, it has turned into an arrogant and haughty party that represents Russians and whites,” and cost Netanyahu’s party valuable votes. Lieberman with a “kipah,” Netanyahu as a leader obtuse to social needs. “Revenge” is the word, “religious war” is the reality.

Since Deri returned, Shas had been led by a troika. Yishai, Deri, and Atias (see picture above) had an equal weight on political decisions despite Yishai formally keeping remaining head of the party. Following their failure to increase power in the elections and their remaining out of Netanyahu’s government, Yishai’s fate was set. A journalist described their recent relations as “they were stabbing each other occasionally with short knives; now they are using axes.” Deri will be from now head of the party, Atias will lead the list in the Knesset, and Yishai was demoted to be the director of the party’s educational system (in Israel, education is defined by “streams,” like secular, socialist, Ultra-Orthodox, Arabic, and others). Deri is in a desperate quest to save the party.

In a recent interview, Noam Chomsky said he never expected much of President Obama, adding, ”The one thing that did surprise me is his attack on civil liberties. They go well beyond anything I would have anticipated, and they don’t seem easy to explain.”

Maybe the reasons for Obama’s transformation from a Chicago law professor into a world-class totalitarian thug is that he is a creature of the Central Intelligence Agency; that both his parents were CIA payrollers; that the CIA financed his college education and gave him his first job afterwards—-so that we may well have a president beholden to this international criminal organization, an agency that has left a trail of blood, turmoil, and assassinations around the globe.

According to the May 6th The New Yorker, when General James Cartwright, vice-chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, asked at an Obama Situation Room meeting why the U.S. was building a second air force in the form of a CIA drone attack fleet, Obama told him, “The CIA gets what it wants.” That Obama holds this view is reinforced by Cameron Munter, President Obama’s former ambassador to Pakistan. Munter questioned whether the drone strikes in Pakistan weren’t having a blowback effect on the Pakistani public. Writing in the magazine, Steve Coll says Munter learned under Obama: “It was what the CIA believed that really counted.”

Reporter Coll says America’s drone war is a major factor in why U.S. relations with Pakistan have “collapsed.” Today, he writes, “the U.S. has surpassed India as the most hated nation in Pakistan.” Coll adds, “Obama seems unwilling to confront the possibility that drone strikes may be creating more enemies than they’re eliminating.”

So far, the drone strikes are believed to have killed 3,000 people, not one of whom got a fair trial in the American tradition. The attacks are being made in countries where the U.S. has never officially declared war: besides Pakistan, in Somalia, Yemen, and even in the Philippines. Obama has turned the whole world into an American shooting gallery.

The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution for the U.S.A. [hereafter the U.S. Constitution, or Constitution] are jointly the contract of specific performance between the U.S. citizens as the parties on one side of the agreement, and the U.S. government, its officers, employees, agents, and subcontractors as the parties on the other side of the agreement.

The duty to take care is affirmative. So is the duty faithfully to execute the office. A President must carry out the obligations of his office diligently and in good faith. The elective character and political role of a President make it difficult to define faithful exercise of his powers in the abstract. A President must make policy and exercise discretion. This discretion necessarily is broad, especially in emergency situations, but the constitutional duties of a President impose limitations on its exercise.

The “take care” duty emphasizes the responsibilty of a President for the overall conduct of the executive branch, which the Constitution vests in him alone. He must take care that the executive is so organized and operated that this duty is preformed.

The duty of a President to “preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution” to the best of his ability includes the duty not to abuse his powers or transgress their limits — not to violate the rights of citizens, such as those guaranteed by the Bill of Rights, and not to act in derogation of powers vested elsewhere by the Constitution.

According to Beck (see the video provided), we have reached the “beginning of the end for so much of this administration… This is much bigger than we thought.” A massive cover-up continues and Janet Napolitano, who Glenn feels will get jail time for her role in this cover-up, is going to be the first to fall. Will Barack Obama soon be impeached for his role in covering-up US government ties to terror in our own country?

This report from Beck contains much more new information, including news that unnamed and heroic federal law enforcement agents are deeply involved in investigating this cover-up, and several other news organizations have censored reports from their own reporters and investigators.

Before Glenn Beck’s report even came out, Rush Limbaugh, the nation’s highest-rated radio talk-show host, was already the latest public figure to suggest that President Obama could be impeached, over his actions related to the so-called “sequester.” This time, his regime decided to release what could end up being “a total of nearly 10,000 illegal immigrants“ from jails and prisons… before any budget cuts even went into effect!

On Limbaugh’s Feb. 27th show, stated:

“The president of the United States has opened up the jails. The president of the United States, because of budget cuts which have not happened yet, has released 500 or so illegal immigrants, and, by definition, of law, they are criminals… Janet ‘Big Sis’ Napolitano says that because the sequester is gonna cut 1% of their $2 billion detention budget, they will no longer be able to afford to detain as many as 30,000 criminals….

In what used to be considered, if we can remember this far back, normal, sane times, this is an impeachable offense. This is in direct violation of the oath of office. Defend and protect the Constitution of the United States and the people. We’re opening the doors of prisons before the sequester has even happened, before there have even been any budget cuts. This is so childish, except the consequences are real for people that live nearby these detention centers. This is on-the-ground, hard, cold reality…

Let’s not forget, thanks to Obama’s various executive orders, ICE, the immigration people, no longer detain any illegal aliens unless they’ve been convicted of a serious crime. That’s who we’re talking about here. You have to commit a serious crime before we detain you, if you’re illegal. So this isn’t just a bunch of discriminated against freedom fighters that have been wrongly jailed finally seeing freedom at all. These really are convicted criminals that are being released.”

Of course, this comes hot on the heels of the latest impeachable offenses by President Obama — this time, this time, trying to impose gun control on our country. The American people have been successful (so far) in stopping Congress from passing new laws that would violate the 2nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution… but now Barack Hussein Obama is threatening to impose “gun control” by Executive Order in order to BYPASS Congress!

At his press conference recently, Obama floated the possibility of using “executive action” to enact policies aimed at “reducing gun violence,” stating that, “I’m confident that there are some steps that we can take that don’t require legislation and that are within my authority as president.”

In response, a U.S. Congressman is now threatening to IMPEACH OBAMA if he takes such actions against gun rights. Rep. Steve Stockman (R-TX) has threatened that he would file articles of impeachment against President Obama if he institutes gun control measures with an executive order:

“I will seek to thwart this action by any means necessary, including but not limited to eliminating funding for implementation, defunding the White House, and even filing articles of impeachment… Any proposal to abuse executive power and infringe upon gun rights must be repelled with the stiffest legislative force possible. Under no circumstances whatsoever may the government take any action that disarms any peaceable person — much less without due process through an executive declaration without a vote of Congress or a ruling of a court.”

Stockman warned that such executive orders would be “unconstitutional” and “infringe on our constitutionally-protected right to keep and bear arms.” He concluded by claiming that an executive order would be not just “not just an attack on the Constitution,” but also an “attack on Americans. If the president is allowed to suspend constitutional rights on his own personal whims, our free republic has effectively ceased to exist,” he said.

Constitution Lawyer Michael Connelly recently published a comprehensive list of what he calls his “dirty dozen of impeachable offenses” committed by President Barack Hussein Obama — “offenses that subject him to being impeached by the Congress of the United States”. He emphatically states, “President Obama has actively attempted to subvert, ignore, and completely destroy large parts of the Constitution. I believe the President of the United States is well aware of what he is doing, and it is completely intentional.”

Connelly’s “dirty dozen” list has been viewed online more than 25 MILLION TIMES — it’s time to force Congress to TAKE ACTION and IMPEACH OBAMA, once and for all!

Constitutional Attorney Connelly listshis “dirty dozen” of Obama’s impeachable offenses:

1. President Obama has appointed numerous people to cabinet level positions without the advice and consent of the U.S. Senate, as is required by the Constitution.
2. The push by Pres. Obama to pass healthcare legislation in the Congress of the United States that he was fully aware was unconstitutional.
3. Despite the fact that the United States Senate refused to pass the Cap and Trade bill, the President has ordered the Environmental Protection Agency to use regulations to implement key portions of the bill, including those regulating so-called greenhouse gases… in direct defiance of the will of the people of the United States, the will of Congress, and the Constitution.
4. Obama has placed a moratorium on offshore oil drilling or exploration off both the Atlantic and Pacific coasts of the United States and in parts of the Gulf of Mexico. He has also prohibited new drilling exploration on federal land in any states in the United States… in direct defiance of several court orders issued by Federal Judge Martin Feldman in New Orleans.
5. Instead of allowing American companies to drill for oil domestically, Obama hasbetrayed the American people and authorized loans of billions of dollars to countries like Brazil and Mexico so that they can drill for oil, and then sell that oil to the United States. Obama has also refused to approve the keystone pipeline from Canada to the United States that would not only lessen our dependence on oil from countries like Venezuela and Saudi Arabia, but create thousands of new jobs in the United States. The decision on the pipeline is one that belongs in the hands of the members of Congress, not the President.
6. President Obama has abdicated his responsibility to enforce the laws of the United States against illegal immigration. He has virtually declared our southern border an open border by declaring certain areas of federal land in states like Arizona as off-limits to federal, state, and local authorities… He has also ordered the border patrol not to arrest most illegal immigrants entering the country, and has stopped deportation proceedings against thousands of people in this country illegally. He is in effect instituting the so-called “dream act” bypassing the Congress of the United States which has sole authority over immigration matters.

7. The President and his Attorney General Eric Holder have clearly violated their oath of office by joining with foreign countries such as Mexico, Bolivia, and Columbia, in lawsuits against the sovereign states of Arizona, Georgia, and Alabama to stop them from enforcing the federal immigration laws.
8. President Obama has ordered the Federal Communications Commission to adopt regulations giving the federal government control of the Internet and its contents, including providing Obama with a kill switch that gives him authority to shut down the Internet if he sees fit. This is in direct violation of a decision by the United States Supreme Court that the FCC has no Constitutional authority to control the Internet.
9. Obama has unilaterally declared that the Defense of Marriage Act passed by the Congress is unconstitutional, and further declared that he will not have the Justice Department defend it against lawsuits. His administration has also refused to enforce laws against voter intimidation and federal law that requires states to purge their voter registration lists of deceased individuals and those that are registered illegally. In addition, the Justice Department is refusing to allow states to enforce laws requiring proof of identity by voters at the polls. Obama has essentially said that he is the supreme ruler of the United States, and that the Congress and the Federal Judiciary are irrelevant.
10. It has been widely reported that acting through the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms the Obama administration was involved for months in getting legitimate and law-abiding gun store owners along our southern border to supply weapons to straw buyers who the government knew would deliver them to the drug cartels in Mexico. The administration has, in effect, armed our enemies, and one border patrol agent has already been killed by one of these weapons. Now, Obama continues to impose gun control laws by Executive order so he will not have to deal with Congress. The administration is also refusing to cooperate with the committees in the House of Representatives that are investigating the entire operation. It is even defying Congressional subpoenas.
11. The President of the United States is not authorized by the Constitution to take our nation to war without the consent of the Congress of the United States. The President committed members of the United States military to combat missions in a foreign country (Libya) without the consent of Congress. He based his authority on a United Nations resolution, and a resolution by the Arab League. Now, administration is taking the position that it can ignore Congress as long as it has United Nations approval or NATO approval. The White House also insisted that language be included in the recently passed National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) that gives the President sole authority to order the military to arrest and indefinite detain American citizens on U.S. soil if the President suspects them of terrorist ties, followed almost immediately by another unconstitutional executive order titled the National Defense Resources Preparation order. It includes language that appears to give Obama the authority to declare martial law in peacetime, and take over the allocation of everything from food and fuel to transportation and health care. This violates the Constitution in a number of different ways.
12. Since taking office the President has used executive orders, laws pushed through Congress in the dark of night, and administrative actions by his departments to nationalize and control automobile manufacturers, banks, insurance companies, and portions of the healthcare industry. This is designed to take our country from a free enterprise economy to a socialist economy. There is absolutely no authority in the Constitution of the United States that allows the President to do this.

This “dirty dozen” list of impeachable offenses committed by Barack Obama is just the TIP OF THE ICEBERG! It’s time to GET HIM OUT OF OFFICE!

It’s THE LAW that every year, the President is REQUIRED to submit a budget to Congress. He is REQUIRED BY LAW to submit a budget no earlier than the first Monday in January, and no later than the first Monday in February.

The law (31 U.S.C. 1105(a)) reads: “On or after the first Monday in January but not later than the first Monday in February of each year, the President shall submit a budget of the United States Government for the following fiscal year.”

So, President Obama sent his budget to Congress by February 4th… right?

WRONG. In fact, the White House is now saying Obama’s budget “will probably come out April 8.” And it’s NOT the first time this has happened — in fact, it’s the FOURTH time in five years the president has FAILED to submit a budget on time!

Obama’s NEVER late on picking his Final Four bracket teams… but he’s almost ALWAYS late on obeying the LAW and submitting a budget to Congress in time!

Do you GET that? President Barack Obama has BROKEN THE LAW over and over and over and over again — with impunity! It’s not a felony… but it IS a misdemeanor… which is an IMPEACHABLE OFFENSE!

This is only the latest reason to impeach Obama — and we’re not the only ones calling for his impeachment!

Add another big name to the list of people who believe that Barack Hussein Obama has met the Constitutional requirement of “high crimes and midsdemeanors”, and should therefore be IMPEACHED. This time, it’s rock legend and gun-rights defender Ted Nugent:

Referring to Obama, Nugent says, “There’s no question that this guy’s violations qualify for impeachment. There’s no question.”

He blasted “the criminality of this government, the unprecedented abuse of power, corruption, fraud and deceit by the Chicago gangster-scammer-ACORN-in-chief. It’s so diabolical…”

He called the probe into the fatal onslaught at the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya, “the most recent outrage” worthy of the Obama administration.

“When you’ve got the secretary of state of the United States of America who was brought in for questioning regarding the murder, the slaughter, the predictable slaughter of four American citizens in Benghazi, what kind of subhuman numbnut would not know you need security in Benghazi 24/7?” Nugent asked.

“And why does Hillary Clinton know that she’s got the backing of the president and the government overall when she has the audacity to scold those elected officials who ask proper questions. The hearings are over. Nothing [is the result]!”

Militia Hired by State Dept. Warned It Wouldn’t Protect Stevens’ Movements in Benghazi

(CNSNews.com) – The February 17th Martyrs Brigade, a Benghazi-based militia with Islamist elements that the State Department hired as a “quick reaction force” (QRF) to protect the department’s mission in Benghazi, warned the State Department that it would not protect the movements of Amb. Chris Stevens when he visited there last September.

That warning was relayed to the regional security officer (RSO) at the U.S. Embassy in Tripoli–the top security adviser to the ambassador–in an internal State Department email dated Sept. 9, 2012.

That was one day before Stevens departed Tripoli for Benghazi–for what was scheduled to be a five-day visit.

“[O]n September 8, 2012, just days before Ambassador Stevens arrived in Benghazi, the February 17 Martyrs Brigade told State Department officials that the group would no longer support U.S. movements in the city, including the Ambassador’s visit,” said a report on Benghazi released last week by the chairmen of the House Foreign Affairs, Intelligence, Oversight, Judiciary and Armed Services committees.

In a footnote, the report attributed this information to an “Email from Alec Henderson to John B. Martinec, ‘RE: Benghazi QRF agreement,’ (Sep. 9, 2012 11:31 PM).”

The fact that the militia gave the State Department prior warning that it would not support the ambassador’s movements in Benghazi raises new questions about the way the department handled security in Benghazi and its subsequent unwillingness to make department personnel available to congressional committees that are investigating the Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attack.

The State Department’s Accountability Review Board (ARB) report, released on Dec. 18, had revealed that the February 17 militia was no longer protecting the movement of U.S. vehicles in Benghazi at the time of Stevens’ September visit to the city. But it did not say that this information had been delivered to the regional security officer in Tripoli the day before Stevens traveled to Benghazi.

“At the time of Ambassador Stevens’ visit, February 17 militia members had stopped accompanying Special Mission vehicle movements in protest over salary and working hours,” said the ARB report.

A Senate Homeland Security Committee report issued on Dec. 30 also included some additional details the ARB report had not. It said: “In early September, a member of the February 17 Brigade told another RSO [State Department regional security officer] in Benghazi that it could no longer support U.S. personnel movements. The RSO also asked specifically if the militia could provide additional support for the Ambassador’s pending visit and was told no.”

A footnote in the Senate committee report attributes this information to an email sent to Charlene Lamb, who was then the deputy assistant secretary of state responsible for diplomatic security. The email was sent Sept. 20, 2012–nine days after the Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attack in Benghazi. The footnote says: “REDACTED, e-mail message to Charlene Lamb, ‘Ambassador’s protective detail in Benghazi,’ September 20, 2012.”

Back on Oct. 10, 2012, when the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee held an initial hearing on the Benghazi terrorist attack, it took testimony from Lamb and from Eric Nordstrom. Nordstrom had served as the RSO in Tripoli, but left Libya on July 26, 2012, when he was replaced as RSO by Martinec–more than six weeks before the Sept. 11, 2012 Benghazi attack.

Martinec was the RSO in Tripoli, and thus Amb. Stevens’ top security adviser, in the weeks leading up to the Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attack in Benghazi. He was the RSO who received the internal Sept. 9 State Department email stating that the February 17 militia had warned that it would no longer support the movements of U.S. personnel in Benghazi–including the movements of Amb. Stevens. Martinec was also the RSO at the U.S. Embassy in Libya when the Benghazi attack occurred.

But–unlike Nordstrom, who did not get the warning from the February 17 militia and who was not the RSO at the U.S. Embassy in Libya when the Benghazi attack occurred–Martinec did not testify in the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

Nor did the committee take testimony from the as-yet-anonymous RSO who was on temporary duty in Benghazi in September 2012 and, who, according to the Senate Homeland Security Committee report, heard directly from the February 17 militia that it would no longer support U.S. movements in the city.

The State Department’s Accountability Review Board concluded that the number of State Department security people on the ground in Benghazi had been inadequate even in the period that preceded the February 17 militia’s declaration that it would no longer protect the movements of U.S. personnel in the city.

“Overall, the number of Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS) security staff in Benghazi on the day of the attack and in the months and weeks leading up to it was inadequate, despite repeated requests from Special Mission Benghazi and Embassy Tripoli for additional staffing,” said the ARB report.

Not only was the State Department facility in Benghazi understaffed, according to the ARB, it was also staffed with less experienced officers.

“Furthermore, DS’s reliance on volunteers for TDY [temporary duty] positions meant that the ARSOs [assistant regional security officers] in Benghazi often had relatively little or no prior DS program management or overseas experience,” said the ARB report. “For a time, more experienced RSOs were sent out on longer term TDYs, but even that appeared to diminish after June 2012, exactly at the time the security environment in Benghazi was deteriorating further.”

Both the ARB report and the Senate Homeland Security Committee report concluded that the Americans on the ground in Benghazi during the terror attack, including the State Department security officers, acted with great courage.

“The board determined that U.S. personnel on the ground in Benghazi performed with courage and readiness to risk their lives to protect their colleagues, in a near impossible situation,” said the ARB report.

“While our country spent Sept. 11, 2012, remembering the terrorist attacks that took place 11 years earlier, brave Americans posted at U.S. government facilities in Benghazi, Libya, were fighting for their lives against a terrorist assault,” said the Senate Homeland Security Committee report.

On Sept. 10, 2012—the day after RSO John Martinec at the Tripoli embassy got the email telling him that the February 17 militia would not support the ambassador’s movements in Benghazi—there were only three temporary duty State Department Diplomatic Security officers deployed at the department’s compound in that city. Stevens brought only two more with him when he went ahead with his trip to Benghazi that day—bringing the total number of State Department security personnel in that city to five.

The ARB report “found that plans for the Ambassador’s trip provided for minimal close protection security support, and that Embassy country team members were not fully aware of planned movements off compound.”

Revealed: what happened to Ambassador Stevens’ body

It was revealed for the first time today that the body of murdered Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens was recovered by a secret two man Special “Ops” team that was not affiliated with any of the other security entities involved in the Benghazi attack.

This team, acting under their own initiative and armed with their own weapons, undertook this mission despite very little intelligence available for this exceedingly hostile and volatile environment. The information came to light this morning on WVOX’s Vernuccio/Allison radio show.

The previously undisclosed information was provided by former Army Ranger Jack Murphy who is the co-author along with Brandon Webb of Benghazi: The Definitive Report.

Murphy described in vivid detail the events of the attack including the fact that the hired gate security unit who came from a local militia brigade were armed only with cricket bats and fled the scene when the first RPG hit the front gate of the Temporary Mission Facility (TMF) around 9:40 PM Benghazi time.

He went on to describe the rescue of the TMF personnel by members of the nearby CIA Annex led by former Navy Seal Tyrone Woods. The rescue unit operated under an informal security agreement with the State Department but the effort was initially resisted by the Chief of Base at the annex. Within ten minutes of their arrival at the TMF, Woods and his team secured the survivors of the attack and the body of Sean Smith, a State Department Communications specialist and returned to the annex without being able to locate and recover Ambassador Stevens due to the intensity of the fire in the building where he was last located and the presence of both attackers and looters who were swarming through the compound.

(CNN) — Several Yemeni men belonging to al Qaeda took part in the terrorist attack on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi last September, according to several sources who have spoken with CNN.

One senior U.S. law enforcement official told CNN that “three or four members of al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula,” or AQAP, took part in the attack.

Another source briefed on the Benghazi investigation said Western intelligence services suspect the men may have been sent by the group specifically to carry out the attack. But it’s not been ruled out that they were already in the city and participated as the opportunity arose.

The attack on the compound and subsequently on a “safe-house” to which Americans had been evacuated left four U.S. citizens dead, including the ambassador to Libya, Chris Stevens.

If the AQAP members were dispatched to Benghazi, it would be further evidence of a new level of co-operation among jihadist groups throughout the Middle East and North Africa, counterterrorism analysts say.

According to one source, counterterrorism officials learned the identity of the men and established they had spent two nights in Benghazi after the attack. Western intelligence agencies began trying to track the men in the aftermath of the terrorist attack, but were always behind in their manhunt.

They were later traced to northern Mali, where they are believed to have connected with a fighting group commanded by Moktar Belmoktar, a prominent jihadist leader, according to a senior law enforcement source.

The trail appears to have then gone cold. In early 2013, jihadists were driven out of many areas of northern Mali in a French-led offensive.

Another source briefed on the investigation had previously told CNN that Belmoktar had received a call in the aftermath of the Benghazi attack from someone in or close to the city. Whoever made the call was excited.

“Mabruk, Mabruk!” he repeated, meaning “Congratulations” in Arabic.

There is no proof the call was specifically about the attack, but the source says that is the assumption among those with knowledge of the call. One source says the phone call was discovered when a Western intelligence service trawled through intercepts of communications made in the wake of the attack.

CIA officials told CNN they had no comment on whether any call had been intercepted.

One other source briefed by Western intelligence told CNN a call was intercepted but said only that it was placed to an AQIM commander, not specifically Belmoktar.

Belmoktar is an Algerian terrorist operative linked to al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb who claimed responsibility for the attack on the In Amenas gas facility in southern Algeria in January this year. Some 38 people were killed during a three-day siege there.

Chadian troops supporting the French intervention in Mali claimed in March that Belmoktar and others in his group had been killed during an operation in the remote Adrar des Ifhogas mountain range.

There has never been any confirmation of his death, and one source briefed by Western and regional intelligence officials told CNN that Belmoktar may have started operating in the “desert triangle” straddling the borders of Algeria, Niger and Libya.

I myself did not know him, but he who sent me to baptize with water said to me, He on whom you see the Spirit descend and remain, this is he who baptizes with the Holy Spirit. And I have seen and have borne witness that this is the Son of God.”

A lamb was used as a sacrifice during Passover. (Ex.12) A lamb was led to slaughter in the prophecies of Isaiah. (Is. 53:7) A lamb was offered in the daily sacrifices of Israel. (Ex. 29:38-42) (Num 28:1-8); Heb. 10:5-7) John the Baptist used this expression as a reference to the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus on the cross to atone for the sins of the world, a theme which John the Apostle carries out in his writings (Rev. 5:1-6,7:17) **sin of the world-  In this context “world” refers to humanity in general, not specifically every person. Humanity is hostile toward God, not everyone will be saved, but Jesus sacrifice is the only atonement for human sin and its effectiveness is not limited by time or place.

Paul refers to Jesus as the second Adam who became “a life-giving spirit” (1 Cor 15:45) It is after Jesus returns to heaven that He sends this heavenly Helper to dwell with His people on earth. (John 14:26) The baptism of the Holy Spirit occurs with the new birth that constitutes helpless sinners as sons and daughters of God (1 Cor 12:13) the baptism also empowers them for Christian service (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:8)

Although, in a limited sense, believers can be called “sons of God” (Matt. 5:9, Rom 8:14) John uses this phrase with the full force as a title that points to the unique oneness and intimacy that Jesus sustains to the Father as “Son.” Jesus is the Son of God. “Son” carries the idea of the deity of Jesus as Messiah. (John 5:16-30, 2 Sam.7:14) This is John’s way of reporting the heavenly voice that accompanied the heaven-sent spirit, as recorded in Matt 3:17, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.” While “Son of God” was used variously by Jews (2 Sam. 7:14; Ps.2:7) and Gentiles (Mark 15:39), the Baptist’s witness, that of the last of the old order (Matt.11:11-14) is clear. Jesus is the Son of God, the “only Son from the Father (v.14)

Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.

Now, what’s on your partially sanctified mind today? This is a question that an elder in the church would present to a young R.C. Sproul, teaching him about the nature of sanctification. The truth is our minds are partially sanctified on this side of eternity. We’re in desperate need of God’s sanctifying work, just as we were in desperate need of God’s saving work. So let’s take a stab at defining what sanctification is, and what it means to us in our daily lives.

Regeneration is the New Birth given from above to God’s elect. (John 3:3) Sanctification is the process by which God conforms us to the image of His Son throughout our lives. (Rom.8:29) When were saved were given new desires from God. We desire God Himself, holiness, prayer, worship, love for others and the glorification of God’s name in the world. After were saved we begin the sanctification process, where we walk in the new desires God has given us. God calls His chosen people to holiness, and at the same time He provides this holiness for us. (1 Thess. 4:4; 5:23) In sanctification, the Holy Spirit “works in you, both to will and to work” (Phil. 2:12,13) Over a period of time Christians become increasingly Christ like, as the moral profile of Jesus (the “fruit of the Spirit”) is formed in them. (2 Cor. 3:18;Gal 4:19; 5:22-25)

I was saved by grace sometime in the last three years. (I don’t know the date or time) I recall hearing people’s dramatic conversion testimonies and feeling so condemned because I didn’t have one. I thought salvation was an emotional experience, where I would be sanctified and glorified immediately after I was justified. Unfortunately, I also made this same mistake when it came to my sanctification process. I would hear about “the second blessing”, and about people being “baptized in the Spirit”, and feel so hopeless because my struggle with sin was still present in my life. I was mixing my justification with my sanctification and those two with my glorification. I wanted to be saved, sanctified and glorified all the in same day, like receiving a spiritual happy meal! I’ve had to learn that our growth in sanctification is never a straight, bee line shot of success and victory. We all have dry seasons, failures, stumbles and we all struggle daily with our flesh. (We seem to grow more in our times of struggle, than we do in our good times, because in the former we learn to depend on the Lord, just saying!) In theology we must be careful to separate sanctification and justification, just like we should separate Michael Jordan and Lebron James. If we don’t separate sanctification from justification, we run the risk of being retarded in our spiritual growth.

Oh, what bondage do we put ourselves in when we try to find shorts cuts around our sanctification process! Watch out for the heresy of perfectionism. There’s nothing more condemning than the false teaching that you can be a perfect Christian once you’re at a certain “level” of sanctification. There’s no instant fix in this process; it’s a day to day grind. Some “christians” think that if they reach a certain pious level of spirituality they will be more sanctified than others, but this idea lives on the hills of heresy. In our country we want our sanctification process to be microwavable, but the truth is our sanctification process requires hard work, and dependence on the Lord. The Holy Spirit works in us, but we must work as well toward imitating His fruit. Once were regenerated we must seek the Lord, and chose this day whom we will serve.

In closing I want to encourage my brothers and sisters in Christ to be immovable during their sanctification process. Endure till the end, and always look to Christ for grace in your time of need. (Matt. 24:13; Heb. 4:16) Sometimes I feel like yelling the old infomercial battle cry, “Help, I’m in sanctification and I can’t get out!” And while I find it a painful process, I’m still thankful to be worked on by my Creator. God has given me a responsibility now to devote myself to Him. He works in me, and I work, out of love, for Him. There is no level of holiness we can reach by short cuts; we are already righteous in Christ. But how can we just sit by and not pursue holiness after our Father has so graciously given us new life? We can’t just say, “I can’t do it”, and become spiritual couch potatoes. (Phil 2:12-13) We have been given certain means of grace, and we’re called to utilize them in our Christian walk. We are called to put on the new self, to die daily to our old self and to have our minds renewed by the Word of God. (Eph. 4:22-24) We must strive to know our Lord’s Word, and make an effort to be obedient to it. I cannot perfectly follow God’s law, nor can I perfectly live out the fruit of the Spirit. But I can pray, study, repent and practice those fruits, all the while depending on the Lord to finish His sanctifying work in me. (Phil. 1:6) Never give up, and never stop looking up!

**- There are four heresies too be wary of while studying sanctification, activism, quietism, antinomianism and legalism. Activism is the heresy of self righteousness; it focuses on self will sanctification, with no grace given by God to us for help in our process. Quietism is the complete opposite; it focuses on God doing all the work for us in our process. You know, “Let go, and let God.” Antinomianism is the heresy that teaches people that they can do anything they want because their under grace. Legalism is the opposite; it teaches that you can and cannot do certain things in order to become more holy. Watch out for any type of these heresies in your Christian life. We have been set free from the condemnation of the law by grace, and we strive to be obedient to the law, out of love, because it pleases God.

The morning after pill “Plan B One Step” has been in the making for at least 13 years. I remember research about it being presented back in my medical school years.

It took this many years but the progressive agenda has succeeded in its goal. As of this month, girls as young as 15 can walk into a pharmacy and grab a Plan B off the aisle without a prescription.

A progressive judge has pushed the FDA into approving this non-solution to a moral problem, and parents don’t even have to know about it… until the side effects and potentially dangerous complications of Plan B will affect their daughters.

One can consult a site like drugs.com for non-medical professionals, and see some of the adverse effects of this pill that contains a hefty dose of a synthetic reproductive hormone which will prevent implantation of a fertilized egg. We are talking about an abortifacient pill, one that effectively gets rid of the product of conception.

The moral argument will not do for the progressives.

How about a medical argument?

There is a reason why hormonal contraceptive pills require a prescription normally. There is a reason why hormone replacement therapy after menopause is controversial. That reason has to do with increased mortality in certain situations and medical conditions.

Now levonorgestrel will be available to all comers after age 15 over-the-counter. My main concern is with young women at risk for thromboembolic events, like those who have clotting disorders and are not yet diagnosed, and who possibly engage in other behaviors like smoking. They may form a clot after taking Plan B and suffer a potentially deadly pulmonary embolus.

What happened to the Hippocratic Oath which says “do no harm” first when treating a patient?

Our society is so blinded by Satan that it will bypass even earthly reason in excusing sin.

Christians who hold to biblical truth are forbidden from engaging in sexual immorality af any kind. That includes premarital sex and sexual experimentation. God has ordained sex only for marriage, and any attempt to remove it from marriage is a SIN.

Plan B does not solve a problem. It creates and sustains a moral problem and it potentially may cause serious harm to young women’s health.

Progressives will disagree as usual.

(NaturalNews) Most people feel that a time of great change is upon us. But what kind of change is unfolding, exactly?

To answer that question, we must examine current trends and attempt to understand where they are headed.

Here’s my look at ten of the most sociologically-charged trends that I believe are leading us into a spiritual crisis (followed by a spiritual awakening, as you’ll see below).

#1) The rise of human engineered genetics

Abandoning the seeds of nature, human scientists continue to play God with plants, animals and even humans. In doing so, they challenge the laws of nature and have already given rise to “superbugs” and “superweeds.”

Superbugs are resistant to all known chemicals and drugs, and superweeds are resistant to all known chemical herbicides. Genetic pollution is rampant. No one knows where this takes us, but many understand that such reckless science puts the future of life at risk across our entire planet.

#2) Reality escapism via gaming, social networks and computer-human interface devices such as Google Glass, VR helmets

Turning to techno-immersion devices, more and more people are escaping reality and “living” in virtual worlds, or living in “augmented” versions of the real world. Though such devices and social networks promise connection, they actually deliver isolation, social detachment and depression.

As these devices become more capable of sensory immersion, the problems they foment will only become more extreme, leading to extreme isolationism, escapism and truly delusional life experiences. People will live and die in “the Matrix,” so to speak.

On the up side, immersion devices have tremendous therapeutic value and training value. They could theoretically be used to teach the fundamentals of liberty, consciousness, economics and philosophy, but history has shown they will most likely be exploited by corporate interests and abused by users to escape reality rather than enhance it. (Just look at where television ended up taking us…)

#3) The demonization of normalcy

Any idea that used to be considered “normal” is being increasingly demonized. For example, understanding mathematics and the laws of economics now makes you a “fringe whacko” in any discussion about the national debt or budget deficits.

Expressing the existence of human consciousness will earn you a sharp rebuke from conformists who insist there is no such thing as consciousness. This group already includes many the world’s top physicists such as Stephen Hawking.

Ideas like “we should be responsible for our own actions” are becoming increasingly alien across society. Even a heterosexual lifestyle is now being thought of as “abnormal” by the new metro-sexual trendies. Everything normal and natural is being marginalized and replaced with radical, anti-consciousness ideas such as “it’s okay to murder babies right after they are born, just call it a post-birth abortion.”

Normalcy is the new “closet.” If you are normal, hide it away, lest you be incessantly berated by your peers for not conforming to their “new wave” of freakish ideas.

#4) The rise of “omission journalism”

Journalism is increasingly becoming more about what is omitted from the news rather than what’s in it. As mainstream media institutions pursue agendas of social shaping rather than reporting factual news, they use the power of omission to make sure the people aren’t aware of the most socially-relevant stories.

For example, in our modern time there are two huge stories the media isn’t reporting because it’s practicing “omission journalism.” Those stories are the abortion murder trials and DHS bullet stockpiling.

When watching the news, an informed observer must now ask himself, “What are they NOT showing me?” Therein lie the real stories that will never be reported.

#5) The “Idiocracy” effect of self-selected procreation that multiplies the number of people least qualified to advance humanity

I call this the “Idiocracy” effect, named after the movie of the same name (by Mike Judge). It simply means that humans who are least qualified to advance humanity are the most likely to have the most offspring.

Put simply, smart people have fewer babies, but the idiots procreate in massive numbers. This ultimately skews the demographic profile into a society filled with people of very low cognitive function who nevertheless represent the voting majority. From there, the downfall of society and the rise of the idiocracy is only a matter of time.

In a hundred years, this article you are reading right now will be incomprehensible to even high-level scholars of the future because it uses big words like “demographic” and “cognitive.” Anyone who can do basic algebra will be considered a genius.

#6) The censorship and criminalization of knowledge

Today, publishing truthful knowledge about nutritional supplements, colloidal silver or natural medicine is considered a criminal activity. Any coherent physics analysis of WTC building 7 is also met with sheer derision.

One of the trademarks of the insane society into which we have already entered is the censorship and criminalization of knowledge. Any who speak the truth, who attempt to preserve knowledge, or who counter lies with truth are immediately branded whackos, conspiracy theorists or terrorists.

The purpose of this ploy is to eliminate all knowledge from society’s memory so that reality can be instantly reshaped at will by the governing tyrants. A population which has no connection with actual history, knowledge of natural medicine or even awareness of their natural rights is far easier to control than a well-educated population with a sense of factual context.

#7) Selective dehumanization: The abandonment of any value for the life of a newborn child or any adult who disagrees with you

Dehumanization is a key trend to watch. You see it right now with the idea that sufficiently young children have no “life” and no value and can be terminated as a “choice.” You also see it with the increasingly radical rhetoric in the mainstream media, where guests on CNN and other broadcasts call for the violent shooting of anyone who disagrees with them.

These are signs of dehumanization, and they will be extended and multiplied until all those who disagree with the governing status quo are labeled “animals” and dealt with accordingly.

Do you understand the moral depravity we are headed towards, and the moral decay we are in the midst of?  Not all lifestyles are equal!  Before you just put me off as some kind of religious nut, which I may be, or not.  Read this over and think about it.  Look at what is happening to us as a nation.
