Senatorii au fugit luni de responsabilitatea votarii controversatei legi privind introducerea pasapoartelor biometrice, coalitia nereusind sa-si mobilizeze proprii alesi, spre hazul Opozitiei, transmite Antena 3. De doua ori s-ar recurs la procedura de vot si tot de atatea ori nu a fost intrunit numarul minim de 69 de voturi necesar pentru caracterul organic al acestui act normativ. Drept urmare, masura a fost adoptata tacit in plenul Senatului, in varianta venita de la Guvern. Problema a fost astfel pasata Camerei Deputatilor, fara ca senatorii sa fi votat efectiv aceasta lege.

„Voi vota împotriva introducerii paşapoartelor biometrice, indiferent care va fi poziţia politică a partidului sau a Guvernului. Am mailul plin cu mesaje împotriva introducerii acestor paşapoarte. Adrian Nastase: “Se fac presiuni din exteriorul tarii pentru realizarea acordului de imprumut cu FMI”

Adrian Nastase a facut aceasta importanta declaratie, azi 16 martie 2009, intr-o discutie la Realitatea TV, insa rugat fiind sa detalieze, a inceput s-o scalde. Desigur, Cosmin Prelipceanu s-a dovedit “neprofesionist” cand l-a intrebat ce anume vrea sa spuna. Nu la fel a fost aseara Adrian Ursu, care a “ratat” sa dezvolte fraza lui Mircea Geoana referitoare la uriasul imprumut: “Eu stiam de la Washington despre acesta, inca inainte de a se incepe in Romania discutia despre acest subiect”. Si o spunea in conditiile in care personaje din PSD se tot plang ca nu au fost consultate din timp asupra “cererii” Romaniei adresata fondului pentru un imprumut masiv.

FMI nu exclude falimentul Ungariei, in ciuda imprumutului deja luat

Ziua in care accesul la internet va fi interzis

Proiectul de lege intitulat 'Telecom Packet' a fost adoptat de catre Parlamentul European, astfel incat incepand cu luna septembrie 2009 accesul la Internet se poate bloca sau doar restrictiona, in anumite conditii. Scopul declarat al legii propuse de Comisia Europeana vizeaza reformarea sectorului telecomunicatiilor. Pachetul Telecom cuprinde mai multe amendamente care vin sa avantajeze serviciile telefoniei mobile, dar in acelasi timp, aduc atingere unui principiu fundamental al utilizarii internetului, si anume libertatea.

Marea Britanie a fost abolita la 1 Ianuarie 2009 prin Tratatul de la Lisabona!

Al saselea si ultimul tratat al UE a inlocuit, in mod formal, Marea Britanie prin Uniunea Europeana pe data de 1 ianuarie 2009. Asta cu un an inainte de termenul limita dictat de catre Cancelara Germaniei, Angela Merkel. Tratatul de la Lisabona are suprematie in fata Constitutiei britanice*, prin urmare, aceasta din urma este abolita! Presedintele Bancii Mondiale, evreul Robert Zoellick: “Ce-i mai rau, va urma de acum incolo”

Intr-un interviu acordat Daily Mail, Robert Zoellick estimeaza ca economia globală va suferi o contracţie de la 1% la 2% în acest an, nivel nemaiîntâlnit din 1930, adaugand ca schimburile comerciale internaţionale vor înregistra la rândul lor o scădere dramatică. Acest pronostic vine în completarea declaraţiei preşedintelui FMI, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, care susţinea că economia globală va înregistra prima sa contracţie după 60 de ani. “Prin urmare, acestea sunt timpuri grave si periculoase”, a spus la final Presedintele Bancii Mondiale.

Dupa incrancenata disputa politica legata de prezumtivul imprumut acordat de FMI si Banca Europeana, nici nu vreau sa ma gandesc ce s-ar intampla daca negocierile cu aceste organisme ar esua. Intr-o asemenea situatie, prejudiciul adus Romaniei ar fi urias. Iar costurile crizei ar deveni mult mai mari decat in situatia in care respectivele organisme de decizie in materie financiara nu s-ar fi implicat sau nu ar fi existat. Pentru ca neincrederea in capacitatea Romaniei de a functiona ca o piata sanatoasa in plan economic, atractiva sub aspect investitional ar crea un blocaj mult mai dramatic decat ne putem imagina. Iar leul s-ar prabusi literalmente, antrenand toate consecintele posibile in plan social.

Va rugam sa ne binecuvantati si sa sprijiniti actiunea, cu rugamintea de a permite anuntarea ei de catre preoti in Biserici, pentru ca un numar cat mai mare de credinciosi sa poata lua cunostiinta de aceasta actiune - pe care o consideram o datorie a tuturor crestinilor.

Senatorii, bombardati cu mesaje pentru a nu vota pasapoartele biometrice

Scandalul pasapoartelor biometrice a declansat o reactie fara precedent. Senatorii romani au fost supusi, ieri, unui bombardament de sms-uri si emailuri in care li se solicita sa nu voteze astazi ordonanta de urgenta care instituie introducerea actelor de identitate electronice. Apelurile militantilor impotriva aprobarii acestui act normativ au fost trimise parlamentarilor atat pe adresele publice ale acestora (create pe serverele Senatului sau Camerei Deputatilor), dar si pe adresele lor private.

Consiliul European de la Laeken din 2001 a propus o regândire a conceptului de "gestionare integrată a frontierelor", în contextul creării spaţiului Schengen.
Azi Parlamentul European a adoptat un raport care analizează propunerile Comisiei Europene referitoare la noi măsuri pentru sporirea securităţii şi facilitarea călătoriilor cetăţenilor care provin din ţările terţe. Raportul a fost adoptat cu 600 voturi pentru, 46 împotrivă şi 30 de abţineri, informează un comunicat al biroului român de presă de la PE. În ceea ce priveşte "Protecţia datelor şi probleme legate de datele biometrice", raportul PE arată că "siguranţa datelor biometrice nu este absolută şi acestea nu sunt în toate cazurile corecte". Prin urmare, deputaţii europeni consideră că ar trebui să existe întotdeauna proceduri alternative, iar profilurile de risc ar trebui elaborate mai bine.

Noul Cod Penal, garant al imoralităţii

Noul Cod Penal, a cărui elaborare a fost începută de Monica Macovei, a fost finalizat şi aprobat de Guvern la 25 februarie 2009. Nici bine nu fost aprobat şi lansat cu surle şi trâmbiţe ca o nouă reformă de succes a cabinetului Emil Boc, şi lacunele sale au “transpirat” în presă. Iar cele mai flagrante două modificări ale noului cod penal sunt neincriminarea prostituţiei şi a incestului.

Campanie ateistă în Marea Britanie pentru a semăna îndoiala în existenţa lui Dumnezeu

La începutul anului 2009, mesaje ateiste au fost promovate timp de o lună pe 800 de autobuze din Londra şi din cele mai importante oraşe britanice. Afişele anunţau: „Probabil că nu există Dumnezeu, aşa că nu-ţi mai face griji şi trăieşte-ţi viaţa!”

Senatul a amanat pentru luni votul in cazul pasapoartelor biometrice

Plenul Senatului a hotărât, miercuri, să amâne pentru luni, 16 martie, votul final pentru OUG prin care se introduc paşapoartele electronice, raportul suplimentar al Comisiei juridice a Senatului neîntrunind numărul necesar de voturi pentru a fi aprobat.

Monahul Filotheu in senatul Romaniei, a cerut schimbarea Ordonantei privind actele biometrice

Monahul Filotheu Bălan, de la mânăstirea Petru Vodă, a fost prezent, astăzi, 11 martie 2009, în plenul Senatului unde a împărţit materiale împotriva introducerii paşapoartelor biometrice. Monahul Filotheu susţine o varianta organizatiei APEL, prin care paşapoartele electronice să fie emise la cerere, pentru cei care doresc să călătorească în Statele Unite ale Americii, în caz contrar să rămână doar paşapoartele obişnuite.

România în regimul FMI

Detaliile măsurilor ce vor fi negociate începând de astăzi sunt încă secrete, dar din experienţele recente ale statelor care au accesat astfel de finanţări reiese că ne aşteaptă o perioadă de austeritate. Concret, în ţările est-europene, aplicarea măsurilor impuse de Fond a avut drept consecinţe creşteri de taxe, îngheţări sau chiar reduceri de salarii, majorarea vârstei de pensionare şi neacordarea celui de-al 13-lea salariu pentru bugetari. Mai mult, în Ucraina s-a ajuns şi la tăierea subvenţiilor pentru gazele livrate populaţiei!

Free trade agreements (FTAs) are supposed to help American businesses improve their profits, create more jobs and build their industries by opening new markets for export of their products with foreign countries under rules based trade. The US has FTAs with 20 foreign nations, including six added in 2006, Bahrain, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Morocco, and Nicaragua.
