Day 22 seemed to have a common theme today of water.

Firstly, Erk went for a trip on water by going on a ferry ride on Sydney Harbour. Orange Tim spoke all about Sydney’s water supply system. Squeak’s eyes probably went to water after deciding on a car for Mrs Squeak and Ben was back after having water in a bag fed to him.

Erk had lots of FAIL but got an episode out, Orange Tim had lots of drinks, Squeak was back with lots of news and there were lots of cursing from DNA studios between Drue and Ben, something that was missing from the previous days’ shows with Orange Tim and Erk making guest appearances.

Two part Hydrogen + One part Oxygen = Water! Everything you wanted to know (and probably a lot of stuff you didn’t want to know) about Sydney’s water storage and supply awaits you!

It was a strange day for the Erk Pod children shows and Erk Pod itself on day 21 of NaPodPoMo. On Erk Pod 157, Erk turned the air blue with a quality rant in an unusual episode. This was possibly a result of NaPodPoMo. Squeak was sounding not quite himself and Ben wasn’t himself and missed his own show. Orange Tim took us on a cruise on HMAS Sydney II while Erk and Drue combined on a Benless DNA on a medical based show.

We are now in the single figures on the countdown to the end of NaPodPoMo!

On day 20, Erk went for a walk through Newtown and had the episode in the can by 2am. Squeak talked about going car hunting with Mrs Squeak. Da Novemba Despatch with Podcast Agent Drue, Orange Ben and Tim the Trader was a 2 hour quality rant fest.

Today is day 21 and if we aged ourselves a year for every episode we have done this month, we’d now be legal to drink alcohol in the US! Yay!

Despatches from Agent Orange – episode 20. Insert language warning here

No show notes today, decided that a guest or two would make up for it though. (At least I think that’s what Agent O told me to write).

Over the last few days, the Erk Pod Podcasting Commando Team have crested the summit of the mountain of NaPodPoMo aka Nannapoopoo and are on the downhill run to the finish line and the podium. All of the crew (with the possible exception of Erk) are looking forward and counting down.

In summary, Squeak has had some HR issues with his announcer guy and had some laptop FAIL again. But the news has still been weird and wacky. Erk joined Squeak on episode 15 to boot the announcer and on episode 16 to talk about his time in the NSW Rural Fire Service.

Ben & Drue have alternated between red hot and having a computer doing the work for them. Ben still wants to haunt people who don’t send comments. The studio has been re-arranged. Drue and Ben received a care package of Aussie music from an Englishman – how does that work?

Meanwhile in the deep bunker housing Orange Tim, Orange Tim tells us why he is called Orange Tim. He has a Voice Over Chick and dipped into his vault of Emergency Services recordings. He has been finding it tougher to podcast daily seeing as though he is no longer on holidays.

Moving from road to rail, Erk took listeners to work. He has been doing a mixture of recordings from locations and also at the Erk Pod HQ. He appeared on another NaPodPoMo podcast and provided another podcast with their episode for the week in what has been a massive week of Echo by Erk.

Day 15 of NaPodPoMo is the halfway point of NaPodPoMo and we marked the celebration of it went off with a bang touched with a tinge of sadness for a friend. Orange Tim spoke of earth shattering ka-booms and explosions with some handy hints about LPG. Erk exploded at Squeak’s Announcement Guy while at the same time talking to some fun people at Bar Camp Sydney. Drue and Ben ripped into the listener feedback in what was possibly the cleanest DNA yet? Or was it?

On day 14 of NaPodPoMo, Erk spoke to Donut Boy about hamster wheels, Orange Tim spoke to Pip about being a Kiwi, Ben and Drue spoke to each other after re-arranging the office/studio and Squeak had a punchup with Squeak after thankfully recovering from his laptop FAIL.

What will day 15 bring? Apart from the fact that it is the halfway point of NaPodPoMo, who knows?
