Hello, Happy Sunday!

I’ve just changed the layout of my wordpress page to optimize image viewability and realised that I have a plethora of broken links.  So firstly, apologies if you cannot view any sets of images at the moment, I’m currently in the process of fixing this!

I took the decision to delete my flickr page for a few reasons; mainly because of the safety of my high-res images.  Generally speaking, the internet is not a safe place to house any artwork because it’s so easy to… “borrow”.  Granted that! You hope that people use your work and say it’s by you – helping to increase exposure!

My problem with flickr was that it allowed anyone to access my high-res versions, no questions asked.  I’ve used deviantART since the beginning of my photographic career and respect that they give you the options of which sizes anyone can have access to – plus they work directly with the Creative Commons charity!

In the future, my high-res images will still be housed on my deviantART account and sets of images will be on my facebook fan page.

My website is currently in the process of being put together so, I’ll keep you updated when this is set up!

I finished my Contemporary Literature paper last Friday. Now, I just need to send it through e-mail or print it before leaving it on Sir June’s table. Afterwards, I’ll get my grade.

From Wednesday to Friday (or Saturday morning), I’ll be out for COPRE (College Press Conference) so I won’t be, in theory, able to go online for updates and such. Cross your fingers so I may be lucky enough to win something.

Earlier, I finished typing my autobiography for a Theology class. I’ll be (hand)writing it tomorrow.

I was planning to update this place with an old article last published on Aklan Collegian, or the autobiography actually (but I haven’t passed it yet so I won’t publish it anywhere else), but this will have to do for now.

The last week, though tedious, brought out new sources of creativity for me and thus I had the following poetry as products of my wit. Special thanks to the people mentioned. Hopefully, this continues throughout the year.

Tap-tappity-tap-tap. Finally, this piece broke (hopefully) my literary rut. I’ve been having a bad case of writer’s block (or writer’s laziness, to be more precise) for a few months but it all ended earlieryesterday when I risked my lifeskipped lunch just to come up with something new.

See how desperatedetermined I am?

Bottomless. Looks like I wrote my first sociorealist poem. I was hoping for another horror and macabre (or just something creepy and strange) piece but I get this. Well, maybe it shares some elements with the latter genre. Is there a hint of dark romanticism? I fail at noticing those things on my own work.

Who says annoying iced tea commercials can’t inspire a bored and desperate writer? /rhetorical question.

A két bolgár lány nem csak rajzol de rajzaival egy történetet is ír. Galériájukban különböző technikájú, más-más tematikájú munkák mellett található egy világ, amelyet ők alkottak meg. Kitaláltak egy jó pár szereplőt és rajzaikkal megírták a történeteiket. Érdekfeszítő szereplőikét és különleges rajzstílusukat ajánlom mindenkinek. Csodálatos lett az eredmény és kíváncsi vagyok, hogy tetszik-e, valamint hogy ki tudjátok-e találni melyik híres magyar versről is van szó… Akinek már egyszer meséltem, az ne árulja el. Hey guys, sorry for not updating at all recently but things have been crazy. I’ve been looking at different universities and trying to complete insane amounts of homework and writing articles for my school newspaper. Oh and I’m moving in a week. I’ve been updating my deviantart a lot though lately, so you can go there to see some pretty pictures.

Tomorrow I’m taking a vow of silence to raise awareness for children who do not have their own voice. I am not talking or using facebook or twitter for 24 hours. Please go to www.iamsilent.com to take the vow yourselves.

Also my friend recently told me about this awesome comic called Alien Loves Predator. It is a really funny comic about Alien and Predator living in New York City. I am slowly making my way through all of them. Here’s one of my favourites:

I also bought the Dr. Horrible one-shot yesterday and it is amazing. Joss Whedon is so so awesome.

I highly recommend buying this, and I myself am now setting out to obtain the two variant cover ones as well.

Edward Woodward died today, aged 79, in hospital, of pneumonia. Sad. He was a really talented actor. He will be greatly missed.

The ex has looked at my dA page again and put up more bondage pictures. I can’t deal with it. Trying to push all the negative out of my life, need to be strong and move on, try not to let the depression win.

I have three interviews in as many days next week. Hopefully I’ll actually get one of those.

The last couple of days I’ve felt numb but teetering on the verge between happiness and depression, but slightly more on the happy side. Right now, though, the see-saw’s going back to the D-side. Do not want.

Ever had a moment where you’re just blindly surfing a social instant messenger, and you randomly get invited into a conversation of about 5 or more by that contact you barely ever talk to? Well, I’m coincidentally having that moment right now, and it was pretty damn random.

Speaking of random, I actually got back into deviantart not too long ago. Promoting this blog to my online chums hopefully will bring a fair bit of traffic, and possibly a comment or two. But alas, deviantart can get incredibly spammed up with a plethora of pointless deviations made by random people… Man, why so many? :/

Nothing much else. Gonna attempt to draw a Blastoise and a Caterpie tomorrow. It should be some fun.

Como podem perceber, Tuthoya’s Chronicles está saindo do papel. As páginas da primeira parte estão prontas, resta finalizar a capa e mais alguns pequenos souvenirs, rs.

Bom, vou explicar um pouco sobre TC; pra quem não sabe, TC faz parte do universo de Therium, o mesmo de Final Adventure, jogos feitos no RPG Maker. Se passa um ano antes do FA 2 e um ano depois do FA original (penso que logo terminarei o “remake” em RPG Maker 2k3 mesmo).

Serão 20 páginas por número, dividos em 2 partes de 10 páginas. A periodicidade eu ainda não sei… Talvez bimestral ou trimestral, hehe.

TC vai contar a história de Jean e da secreta cidade de Tuthoya, a cidade dos misticos.
Serão contadas as histórias de alguns personagens que não apareceram no Final Adventure 2, mas que são principais no primeiro, entre outras coisas legais que foram esquecidas, rs.

Vai contar também, como Jean conheceu personagens como Amnetika e Su Mei (ainda não tem muita coisa sobre ela).
Ah sim! Sem contar que vai ser algo 18+ (mas nada de hentai harcore, ok?)

Enfim, vai ser muito legal.

I’ve been reading a lot about a site called deviantART recently, and so I went to go visit the site and was amazed! Not only is there a lot of fantastic artwork there, from photography to illustration to poetry to photomanipulation, there is also a lot of FREE STOCK.

I have slowly been leaning towards photomanipulation, first starting with filters, then textures and then last weekend, after a week of intensive tutorial reading I decided to give it a try. The theme was the four seasons. I wanted to personify each season in a photograph. My first one was Winter, which I will post another day. Second try: Autumn. I was amazed at what i was able to accomplish with some patience and the stuff.

I have always loved fantasy and surreal artwork, and have always wished I could draw – a gift that was never given to me. But creativity was, and the ideas were there. I first expressed them in photography, and now I can take them to their next step. I am so excited and can feel my creative juices flowing.

So, I too, have put up a page on the deviantART site, and will use that to showcase my photomanipulation.

Here goes a new adventure!

I wanted to take more pictures in costume for this, but time wouldn’t allow for it   Oh, well.  Maybe I can take more shots for the next tutorial.

Which reminds me:  I need to do a makeup tutorial for a character I forgot to put on my “Completed Cosplay List” on dA…

As BarrieV over at JPH!P has said, “We have entered the period after the single and albums releases”… and now, I say…. we’ve hit a loll. Things are starting to get boring. I hear less and less news these days… and their next concerts will be held in early December, so we’ve got a ways to go. I still have some little things to talk about, so here’s episode 5 of my random SCANDAL talk. xD Expect many fragments of thoughts I’ve had about SCANDAL ahead, so if you’re bored, this may be interesting. If you’re entirely amused already, and idle chit-chat will be a waste of time… I dunno.

Haruna…was in a movie! Our little SCANDAL communities have known for a good while now that our very own Haruna Ono was in a movie called “The Backdancers!” a while back, yet not too long before her days of SCANDAL. The movie came out in 2006, and was apparently about a group of four female back dancers who were at the peak of their careers, and nearly forced into retirement…anyhow, a few months ago, a fellow SCANDAL fan discovered Haru’s part in the film, and….well, there we have it. Here’s some cute pics of Haru from the film~ She played the role of Mika~ (In the second pic, Haru is the girl in the white jacket, in the bottom right corner)

Yumemiru Tsubasa came with awesome stickers! ….In certain cases…. I came across some interesting pictures while browsing Google Images Japan last night…. and for a few minutes was convinced there was some new or underground/foreign single floating around! What I found were pictures of stickers that apparently came with copies of Yumemiru Tsubasa when bought from certain stores, and each store gave different kinds.
