DIALux evo beta has been released since a week and many people are asking

Is generation 5 “evo” better than generation 4?

Actually DIALux evo is much more faster with better rendering, better handling of complex model and has different concept of construction, applying material, light and making the calculation.

Is DIALux evo ready to replace the current generation 4?

DIALux evo have not yet had all functions of DIALux 4

Daylight calculation, emergency lighting, street light and sport complex could only be done by DIALux 4.10 at the moment but will be implemented if future version of DIALux evo
