Usually the discount store focuses on one designer at a time, but by teaming with Neiman Marcus they were able to offer apparel, accessories and home décor by some our favorites! Who doesn’t love Rag & Bone, Lela Rose, Marchesa, Tracy Reese, and Derek Lam (just to name a few)? But even better is the price- and especially now with it being after the holidays, everything is 50% off!

Here are a few of our favorite pieces—

Tracy Reese:

Lela Rose:

I am a bargain hunter by nature and while my Mum used to scold me for telling everyone the bargain basement prices I had obtained, or letting people know it is in fact a Forever 21 necklace, not the YSL they had thought, I find bargains an achievement I wish to share. So once a month I will be sharing you my bargain purchases for the month.

In general, sales kill me, and I have once again spent more than I should have this month…but when you get bargains like this, can you blame me?

Zimmermann Copy Cat One Piece Bathing Suit $345 reduced to $45

A perfect cossie for an upcoming tropical sojourn to Boracay I think. Love the bright and bold sapphire colour.

Probably fake, but apparently with tags!

This pendant was from last season, but black and gold never go out of style and are a never fail option for me. Very YSL circa 70′s. Hey, even if it is fake, still a bargain!

See by Chloe Blazer, originally $580 reduced to $120 at Lane Crawford Annual Sale

It is always hot in Hong Kong – well at least 9 months out of 12, which makes work dressing quite difficult. I have been finding blazers are the perfect work wardrobe item, as office’s are usually freezing cold from air con, whereas outside is sweltering. Makes it easy to pop on a blazer. Plus this lightweight cotton one from See by Chloe makes a great work to dinner/drinks dress up companion.

Dianne von Furstenberg Maja Two Dress in red and white buds. $398 reduced to $180.

As above, another great work to play piece that can be worn in the Hong Kong heat. Plus love the red and white floral pattern, very Hong Kong colours. This dress was famously worn (twice at that, quell horror!) by Kate Middleton in green. Being DvF though, can’t go wrong with her signature patterns.

Tory Burch Crossbody Amanda Wristlet in Surf Blue. $210 on sale bought for $140, thanks to birthday voucher from a friend

More blue, more Tory Burch. I love the convenience of cross over bags, no carrying, no excessive weight, good for day or night. Birthday present to myself, with a little help from a TB birthday voucher from a friend.

“The man in the cool beautiful shirts.” F. Scott Fitzgerald’s most famous novel and the classic must-read about love, money and power in New York during the Jazz Age is a figure of style in itself. “The Great Gatsby” is also currently being re-made into a movie to premiere late 2012, starring Leonardo DiCaprio (as the title character), Carey Mulligan (as his love interest) and the kid who played the former Spider-Man. In this post we revisit party-hyped New York High Society, show you some photos that serve as style inspiration and draw some outfits and items from current fashion that fit the “Gatsby” style, in case you’re thinking about what to wear to encapsulate the memorable era.

Now, let’s get on to the pieces that encapsulate the New York Jazz Era, shall we?

Women:

The Spring/Summer 2012 Gucci collection is a bit older than current but its items can still be bought and they all look like they were taken from the set of “Gatsby”, with all their knee-length, gold, black, feathers and bright colors. Take a look:

Another recent item to go with the women’s list is this Dianne Von Furstenberg handbag (called a Haircalf Harper) that mixes geometric prints, a zebra print, some feather-like things and gold, blending perfecrly into a Gatsby-inspired look:

And for a final touch, consider a Jennifer Ouellette headband or headpiece with feather details or sequins that makes your look sophisticated, upscale and even more Gatsby-like. In the interest of channeling Daisy (Carey Mulligan’s character) you could wear a Swarovski crystal headband for a gorgeous extra touch.

(Thanks to Angelina H who once again guest blogged and helped me with the women’s fashion section)

Man:

Now, onto the male section of the post. Jay Gatsby is usually described as wearing bold, bright colors and fine expensive clothes. Gatsby, a “New Money” man (as said in the book) dressed more daringly than the men who were more conservative (such as Tom Buchanan, Daisy’s husband), though that doesn’t mean he dressed classlessly. On the contrary, Gatsby was always well dressed in expensive fabric and brands.

Suit-wise we were thinking about these two classic timeless Gucci and Ralph Lauren Black Label suits:

Moving on, Gatsby wore more colorful shirts than white shirts and I imagine them paired with bold and distinguished ties, as well as pocket-squares. Below are some that I think fit this list quite well:

(Just don’t think Etro is easy to pull off)

And now, just to finish the men’s section, take a look at some white suit and blazer alternatives. The first suit is from Dolce & Gabbana, as is the blazer following it.

And as a last treat, one of the songs used in the “Gatsby” trailer. The song is quite famous and is called “No Church In The Wild”. A collaboration between Jay-Z, Kanye West and Frank Ocean, though I (and most people I’ve heard) only like Ocean’s and Jay-Z’s parts, check it out:

We’re assuming it’s the same DJ/intern who has helped designer Dianne von Furstenberg pick out the chicest music for her latest CD, Proud to Be Woman Vol. 3. All benefits go to the charity Vital Voices, which fights for and celebrates women’s rights universally, and which Ms. Furstenberg happens to be on the board of (along with Sally Fields!).

Oh, and Ms. Furstenberg’s intern has much cooler taste in music than you do. Check out the listings below, and listen to some of the tracks available.

“… [Nigerian] women who travel abroad to purchase things for sale, generally may be wome

“… [Nigerian] women who travel abroad to purchase things for sale, generally may be women of means and paper qualifications but not of ideas”. – A beloved late “Uncle” on Nigeria’s women trend-setters.

In March 1980, members of the Ibadan Chapter of the Nigerian Association of University Women held a reception for five of our members who had just been elevated in their various endeavors. In proposing the toast to (Auntie) Mrs. Tejumade Alakija [nee Aderemi] who had just become the Head of Service in Oyo State (the first woman to do so in the state AND the country), another auntie and a honoree, Professor Bolanle Awe had recalled the young Miss Aderemi’s arrival in Nigeria, armed with a first degree from London University and a Masters from Oxford. Mrs. Awe was a student at St. Anne’s when news of Auntie’s arrival from England (“news of the event”, as she called it) was relayed to school. “News of the event” had nothing to do with the fact that Miss Aderemi (daughter of Late Sir Adesoji, then Oni of Ife) had come back with the fabled “golden fleece”, one of three Nigerian women – of five – in her time to have graduated from universities. It was what she wore on alighting from the boat, probably Motor Vessel Aureol that created “The event.” With her uncanny sense of her proper place in society and with her supreme confidence in who she was even at that young age, Miss Aderemi wore her beloved Yoruba ofi (aso oke), complete! Looking back in 1980, Auntie didn’t attach any importance to it because she said she wore only ‘up and down’ sewn from Nigerian fabrics throughout her stay in England.

There must have been newspapers around to record the occasion: men who arrived from England in the early 50′s with Mrs. Alakija’s kind of qualifications, even diplomas, would have people line the roads of their towns and villages prior to a grand reception at the town center! The arrival of a female graduate who also happened to be a princess of Ife, therefore, can only be imagined. I believe an entourage must have met her, possibly including her late father. Princess Aderemi caused a big stir because people who were educated those days generally threw away most things African: dressing, most of our foods, way of speaking and even their names. Another young lady arriving on the M.V. Aureol with a Secretarial Studies diploma (also a big deal back then) would have been attired as if to the races at Ascot: mid-calf dress plus gloves, plus, of course, a wide-brim hat – a classic – just as young Tejumade’s ofi that long ago day was also a classic.

Lipstick applied to the lower lips alone as well as whitish lipstick (“reigning” right now) and, I dare say, most of the women fashions in Nigeria, are fads. Wouldn’t it be nice if the so-called “wet lace” (or is it “dry”), “hand-cut lace”, etc. beautiful as they all must be because of their prices being enough to buy tokunbo (used) cars each, could be in fashion for some years? I am sure our women will throw them out after a year or so. These fabrics are so expensive abroad where they are manufactured that a yard or so may be part of a wedding dress with other less-expensive fabrics forming the major part of the dress. Designers also use them for those dresses sold in expensive stores and boutiques for thousands of dollars. I once bought a four hundred dollar-dress when the naira was king in the early eighties. I wore it for two weddings, two years apart in two different cities before passing it to my oldest girl who kept it for three years and went to a studio to have her picture taken wearing the cream and black chiffon dress. She passed it down to her immediate junior sister without wearing it after that. Then it was on to my next daughter before we finally cleaned and packed it away. It was no classic empirically speaking but has become one to our family because it is a fashionable dress whose life (still not at an end, hopefully) has justified the cost.

The three major Yoruba ofi – Sanyan (the khaki-ish colour with white lines); the Etu (the indigo/black) and the Alaari (red with lines of beige, green, etcetera, depending on which part of Yorubaland) – are all CLASSICS. I remember trying to convince my customer at Iseyin, Home of Aso Oke, about adding the wide-loom business to his ofi business some years ago so that he could cash in on the “silk” trade which was just coming on the scene. “Igbalode ni ‘yen, o ma a lo!” (That’s a fad. It won’t last). In spite of my testimony about the way women were going for them, including myself, the old man, an aso oke purist wouldn’t be sold on fads even if it would mean he could make quick money. By the way, a very good road that bypasses the death trap that leads to Oyo Town now links the ancient city to Ibadan if you veer left at Moniya after the IITA; it takes under an hour.

Most civilizations take pride in their heritage. These are just a few classics of other races: jewelry – pearls (freshwater or natural); the American Indians’ turquoise beads; clothing – the tuxedo, the striped suit, the Little Black Dress and the Indian Sari; drinks – Dom Perignon champagne; watches – a cartier; fabrics – the damask (though not the stiff type specifically made for Nigerian women) used for home furnishings, eyelet lace, gingham (“check” )and Oxford broad cloths; cars – the Rolls Royce and Cadillac, and while there are thousands of designer perfumes, ‘Chanel’ remains a classic. The great composers of western civilization left bodies of work that continue to awe, inspire, entertain, and prove classical. Even if you cannot do the waltz, listening to a Strauss number (any of the Strauss-es) will get you moving whatever you may be doing. So is our own late composer, Fela Sowande’s Onidodo, oni moin moin because, it, too, has been adjudged a classic by ears that understand music in other parts of the world. Of course there are many more classics in each category.

Price or cost does not a classic make as we can see from the lowly gingham and eyelet lace. Generation to generation, these fabrics are loved in the West where they originated and are used as kitchen curtains, table covers, shirts for men and women, children’s clothing etc. Here in Nigeria, they are popular as school uniforms in various “check” sizes and colours. Classics must appeal to every era and come out beloved. There is a black and white picture of my late father-in-law in Sanyan on [Osogbo] Osun Festival Day. Take the picture to an advanced color laboratory, colorize it, cover Papa’s head and the picture could pass for one taken by my husband, wearing his own sanyan at our daughter’s wedding! Almost fifty years separate the two pictures but they are exactly the same. A classic does not “reign” as we Nigerian women like to describe anything “in vogue” because it “reigns” and never goes out of fashion.

There are fashions that disappear quickly (i.e. fads) everywhere in the world; so it is not only in Nigeria that fashions come and fashions go. The minis of the 60s, the big afro of the 60s and 70s, the bell-bottom paired with tight tops of the 70s were all fads and, naturally, are no more. Some fashions are resurrected like Diane von Furstenberg’s wrap dress of the 70′s which is suddenly back in vogue but the really outrageous fads die, most likely never to be seen again.

In Nigeria, however, every fashion seems to be a fad and the women are proud of it. A couple of years ago, I got an old off-white damask that had seen life as an Iborun (ipele) and an old ofi that had seen life as a wrapper as inheritance. I had them cleaned and sewn up for some throw cushions because the wrapper already had moth holes. The last time that damask “reigned”, I think the vogue was three or four colours which was around ’75 or so. The single colour piece given to me, therefore, must have “reigned” before the colour-count era! The ofi wrapper was so big that I made not just two throw cushions but I also had an old harvest bench re-upholstered with some of the remaining fabric; it sits in the living room decorated with the throw cushions. While I am already enjoying the ofi, I prefer to keep the damask cushion for a while since it’s “reigning.” Besides, I could lose friends if a throw cushion in my living room is what somebody has on as ipele/gele at my house party even if mine is not as pretty as the modern one! Do not think I am kidding because a young lady who sold some lace fabrics and guinea brocade to me two years ago asked why I needed ten yards instead of the usual five for iro/buba and when I told her that the guinea brocade would be used to line the lace for two narrow windows in the house, she had said, “Auntie, one has to be careful about what to wear to your house because one may be wearing what your windows will be wearing!” All of us in the shop had a good laugh.

As I was writing this article, I decided to call an “uncle” to have his opinion on why he thinks women’s fashions change so often in Nigeria. In typical male fashion, he said dismissively: “I think it’s because those who show the way to you women are generally illiterates!” I was up in arms not because I am that much into what “reigns” but I had to raise a voice, albeit not a strong one, in defense of women. After all, there are young female professionals including lawyers and other degree holders these days selling laces and other high-end fabrics. “That’s exactly what I mean. You won’t find qualified attorneys anywhere else in the world hawking materials. You will find that those women who travel abroad to purchase things for sale, generally may be women of means and paper qualifications but not of ideas. Case closed.

The Comet on Sunday, July 2002.

UPDATES: 1. I can no longer recommend the Iseyin road referred to above. Like most Nigerian roads, it’s a big mess.

2. As many of us know, Dianne Von Furstenberg’s “wrap dress” of the 70s, back in the 80s is back again. What a classic!

3. I will update this story with a picture of the harvest bench in the next few days. Just occurred to me it’s never shown up in any family picture which I would not want to use, anyway.

4. The wide loom Aso oke are almost dead.

5. That beloved “uncle” an old Ibadan graduate, passed early this year.

Trends I love from the runway to you… Fall has a range of trends from feminine & soft to gritty

Trends I love from the runway to you…

Fall has a range of trends from feminine & soft to gritty & strong. The collections that inspired me the most are Haider Ackermann and Francesco Scognamiglio. The 80’s power dressing is huge and 20’s art deco adorns the runway but most of all it is all about the glamour and luxury. Screw the economy, let’s be beautiful, let’s be happy.

MESH & LACE

I saw the world thrashing all around your face, never really knowing it was always mesh and lace. Picture an ornate delicate web of fantasy woven to entertain your imaginations this fall finished with a dusting of jewels. Beauty shines through the black smoke of reality revealing innocence in the darkest of worlds. This style takes on many forms from volumous-layered skirts & dresses to skin tight body suits. Mostly black with occasional appearances of khaki & jewel tones set the mood. Sheer fabric, stretched meshes and lace reveal two personalities, dark & mysterious meet soft & feminine. I like to describe this style as warm ice… a cold exterior like a dominatrix hiding a warm nurturing heart glowing inside.

SOLID GOLD

The oldest of ornaments, an investment and standard of value also refinement & the finishing touch for this Falls collections. This season gold feels opulent, elegant & extravagant. This precious metal is the ultimate adornment making appearances in its malleable form across all of the runway shows for fall 2009. This style is about regal appearance, luscious fabric & texture, high society and being the star of the show in solid gold. This is an everlasting statement that carries over decades of fashion & trend with enduring integrity.

SCULPTURE

The root of this ornate and feminine style originated in Paris Couture houses in the mid 1900’s. As a trend captures motion, movement & form in fabric. In a time of mass production, virtual everything & a lack of human connection, it is both refreshing and inspiring to see this art form. A style that takes us back to craft, a beauty only created with hand sewing & talent that has been passed down for generations. It is creativity at it’s highest, combined with imagination & quality with a dramatic result in fashion. Rich bold colors combined with black are key for this look paired with satin silk and the most opulent fabrics to create the look of luxury. Folding, pleating & draping construct independent shape contrasting yet complimenting the human form seen in classic shapes as well as modern interpretations. This creating a sculpted style that is the heart of the trade, the art of dressmaking.

NEW ROMANTICS

It’s all started with the early 80’s club scene, feminist fashion that defines status strength & power in a women’s wardrobe. Bold shoulders, crazy hair & red lips create this dramatic character that crosses gender. Think Grace Jones & Pierre Cardin at a post punk new wave party. This style is about slick texture, color metallic, geometric shapes & most importantly the silhouette of the broad shoulders, known this season as the “bridge”. I hope this trend will lead us away from the waif models that took us through the 90’s & back to the amazons, sexy power at its best!

Boho Market

It’s amazing how much we can achieve when we put our minds to it. Having a positive attitude along with the drive and determination to succeed helps us to achieve our goals. In addition, if you happen to have a wonderful talent it makes the task so much easier!

If you’re ever looking for inspiration, you need look no further than my next interviewee, Giovanna, a recently-graduated fashion design student from Peru. I’ve known her only a few short months, but in that time I’ve been completely ‘blown away’ by her creativity and her total dedication to her design studies – it really is something to behold - especially as Giovanna had to leave her home in Peru to study fashion design in America. I was so impressed with this young lady that I asked if she’d agree to an interview for Catwalk Threads. I think it’s important to highlight new talent and hopefully this interview will give prospective employers, or anyone eager to plan a career in fashion design, an insight into Giovanna’s talent, creativity and the commitment required in order to succeed!

So, if you happen to be on the look-out for a super-talented fashion designer with an eye for wonderful textiles and design, or if you’d like to contact Giovanna for a custom order, don’t delay! Please send your email to: giovanna.fashiondesign@gmail.com. You can also see more of Giovanna’s work and design inspirations from her marvellous blog, Boho Market at http://www.bohomarket.blogspot.com

JUST FOR FUN:

What is your earliest fashion memory?

I think when I was seven. I remember that I loved drawing and I used markers and color pencils for rendering my little fashion figures; but I felt a little frustrated because the color pencils didn’t give me the shine I wanted, so after thinking what to do with that I came up with a great idea. I decided to start collecting candy and chocolate wrappers!! The candy wrap paper was shiny and colorful. So first I drew the figure wearing the evening gown and then I pasted the paper over it, trying to reach the shape of the dress. After that discovery, I also used magazine pages, yarn, etc. I had so much fun doing it and loved the result!

What is your most treasured possession?

The love of my family and husband.

What kind of music are you listening to right now?

I love music from different parts of the world. Right now I’m listening: The Swell Season these guys were the main characters of the film ‘Once’ which is a modern musical.

What makes you happy?

I love watching a good movie with my husband. I’m also very happy when I’m surrounded by my family or when I’m designing or painting.

Top three films:

Ummm..very hard question..I have so many…let’s see..”Cinema Paradiso“, “La vita è bella” (Life is beautiful) and “Once“.

Top three fashion icons/designers?

Jackie Onassis

Fashion Icons: I think the classic Audrey Hepburn, Jackie O. and Sophia Loren. And top three designers, well, I have more than three, but I’d say: Valentino, Dianne Von Furstenberg and Alexander McQueen.

How would your friends describe you?

I think they’d say that I’m not perfect and I’ll never be, but I treat everyone the way I like to be treated. For me it’s very important to be nice and polite with people, even if you don’t know them, there’s no reason to make someone feel bad. I’m shy sometimes, especially when I have to give a public speech. I also forgive easily; I don’t like to be angry with anyone. I’m very perfectionist and give 110 % when I’m working on something.

Tell us a little about the place where you grew up.

Giovanna's home town, Lima

I grew up in Lima, Peru. I used to live in a quiet, cozy and lovely town. Everything was very close, the little shops, the farmer’s market, the bakery, school, the beach, etc. I loved that! Peru in general is very beautiful; its architecture and landscapes are always an inspiration for me. People in Peru are very down to earth, friendly and genuine. We always receive tourists with open arms. I think every person should visit Peru, especially Machu Picchu which is located in Cusco, a beautiful city in Peru, and it is also one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. That place is just breathtaking.

ABOUT YOUR DESIGN COURSE/COLLEGE:

When did you realise that you had creative talent and what made you decide on fashion?

Inspired by Candy: designs by Giovanna

I always knew inside me that I wanted to be a fashion designer. I remember when I was little, people used to ask me: what are you going to do when you grow up? I always said: A fashion designer. I remember people looking at me surprised. However, after I finished high school, I got a job in a preschool and I discovered that I loved teaching; I think that was always on my genes since my mom is a teacher as well as my older sister. So I decided to study to be a teacher first and put on hold my fashion design career.

Are you interested in all aspects of design and textiles or do you want to concentrate in one particular area?

I think it is very important for a designer to be versatile. I love to keep exploring all aspects of design, but for now I’m focused on women’s clothing trying to incorporate on my designs, beautiful and exotic elements from different countries. I also love to create new patterns inspired by nature.

What and where are you studying and how did you decide on which course to take?

I just graduated from “The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising” in California; my major was Fashion Design. I knew what I wanted to study before going there. I made some research before applying to that school and after the first interview and the tour I decided to study there.

How easy/difficult was it for you to start meeting people and making new friends in your new country? How long did it take for you to ‘settle in’?

Bohemian/Floral trend by Giovanna

It wasn’t easy at the beginning, but I have met wonderful people here. Los Angeles is a multicultural city, which is fascinating for me, but sometimes you have to be careful on how you say things and how you receive them because you can be misunderstood just because of the differences in each culture and also the language. Los Angeles is a very charming city, but honestly at the beginning I felt that the vibe of the city didn’t go very well with my life style, but I always try to find a positive side of everything. After a couple of weeks, my husband and I found some little places where we feel like home. For example, “Los Feliz” area in West Hollywood is just a little, cute and cozy town where my husband and I usually hang out. I think ‘settle in’ is an everyday process; now I feel more comfortable here than before, but I still miss home.

What advice would you give someone thinking of ‘spreading their wings’ and moving to another country to study fashion? Are there things you would do differently. Any pitfalls?

I absolutely believe in following your dreams and take the opportunities that life offers you. I think moving to another country makes you grow up so much because you’re by yourself and you have to make your own decisions. I’m lucky to have my husband’s support, which makes everything easier for me. I think it’s very important to take chances in life to follow your passion, if you really love what you do, do it. Time doesn’t go back and even if you don’t succeed, at least you fought for it and that’s much more than not even trying.

Manga Pencil Drawing by Giovanna

I also think that you have to have a plan before moving anywhere. I mean, a place to stay, a job or something. It is good to be adventurous sometimes, but in this case I don’t think that would work. If you don’t speak the language, study before moving, at least the basics. If you already know the language, you’re ahead of the game. Moving to a different country is not easy, especially at the beginning, but the satisfaction of doing what you love is bigger than your fears.

Do you have to work a job in order to get yourself through college/university?

I had a part time job in my first year here, but I quit after a year and a half because I had so much homework and no time for anything else. Right now, I’m a freelance fashion designer, but I’m also looking forward to work for an established clothing company. In addition to my freelance designs, I’m working on some accessories and jewelry which I’ll be selling at Etsy soon. I’m very inspired right now.

Where do you get your design inspiration from?

I get very inspired by many things, nature, fabrics, prints, textures, art, different countries, crafts, photography, etc.

The fashion world is so competitive. What makes your designs stand out from the rest?

I think my attention to detail, the interesting colors and textiles I choose and the way I combine them to make them look cohesive. I also love to create my own textiles. My goal is that the woman who wears my clothes feels fashionable, feminine, sexy and special. Every design is made with all my love and passion and with consciousness about the fit. I pay a lot of attention on enhancing the women’s beauty. I also love to incorporate artistic details on every design.

Of all of your designs, have you any favorites?

I designed a little Spring/Summer collection that I love.

What’s your fashion forecast for 2009? Any hints on what to look out for or what we’ll be finding in our high-street stores this year?

Green is the new black, but green in the sense of environmentally conscious fashion. I feel very happy about it because as a designer I think it’s very important to use more eco friendly fabrics. I hope we keep doing this not as a trend, but as a something permanent. I also think that patterns such geometric shapes and artistic prints might be on fashion. I think that intricate details as well as new shapes especially on trousers and skirts are going to be hot this 2009.

Where do you see yourself in five years time?

Doing what I love and having my own business, discovering and learning new things, having the opportunity to share what I’ve learned and help other people. I’d love to live with my family, my husband’s family all together.

Every time I’m home for a weekend, my first priority is ALWAYS catching up on my television haha only cause I don’t have a TV in my dorm at school.

So today I started watching the new MTV show “Taking the Stage,” and I am a new fan. I was a little skeptical cause this show was created by Nick Lachey but it’s so refreshing to see a a show about a group of five kids who attend the School for Creative and Performing Arts set in Cincinatti, Ohio going after their dreams.

I know it sounds so cheesy, but going along with my theme of passion for this year, I’m all about this. What I love about this show is that it’s not “scripted.” This is a real school that is well known and these students are more caught up in their dreams instead of just drama. Because we ALL know that shows like “The Hills” and “The City” are fake. We can’t even deny it anymore… I liked Lauren back when she was LC but people say Whitney is never in the DVF office and Heidi and Spencer… enough said. No one gives a shit. But I’ve really started to take a liking towards Mia Carruthers who is an amazing singer and Jasmine and Tyler the dancers.

I’m gonna start watching this show regularly along w/ my Lost and Gossip Girl.

Listening to: Estelle – Come Over
