I know it is sometimes to believe everything you hear- but believe me when I say, I have something for you to do this weekend and/or next weekend if you are in or around the Orlando area.

You have 3 options:

1. THIS SUNDAY, December 6th at 9am.

2. THIS SUNDAY, December 6th at 11am.

3. NEXT FRIDAY, December 11th, at 8pm.

So, once you’ve picked your day, let me continue in telling you what you’re coming to.

My wonderful church, Northwest Community Church, is not your typical church. We have had a dance company at the church for a few years now, and we also have other great artists from around Orlando that are all helping and collaborating, and it ends up that we have freaking awesome productions that aren’t worth missing. This is free entertainment people.

I’m not going to lie to you, it is our goal that it will become something that speaks to you, rather than just entertainment, but you can rest assured you will at the very least have stimulated ears and eyes after it’s done.

This particular production has not only dance, but video and even La Nouba like things (silks and hoop things!) and it is done with excellence.

So please come out on one of the 3 days and see it for yourself. You won’t be missing out on anything, and I assure you, if you come on Friday, you will be wishing you had come on Sunday so you could go back on Friday night. It’s that good.

And if you are my friend on Facebook, I think you’ll be able to see this link, but you MAY have to be friends with Rory who originally posted the video.

But if you don’t trust me about this being totally and completely awesome and legit, look at this link:

http://www.facebook.com/janelleiscrafty?ref=profile#/video/video.php?v=1196471270539&ref=share

(I think you will be able to watch it if you’re on facebook, friends or not.)

So come out! December 6th at 9AM or 11AM and December 11th at 8PM!

Directions to the church can be found here: www.g12orlando.com

Still looking for clearance polo shirts? I used to look all over for them, but I used to run into a lot of fake Ralph Lauren polo shirts. I hate to get ripped off and when I part with my money I want to make sure I am paying for a quality product. Your money is probably very dear to you just like mine and I am sure you want to find quality clearance polo shirts.

Fake Ralph Lauren polo shirts have infiltrated not only the Internet but I have seen them even at the outlet malls that are so popular these days. Your probably a fan of all RL shirts not just the famous Polo label. I have been a fan for years and I usually feel my best when donning Ralph Lauren shirts. But, you can find RL shirts online and you do not have to pay the outrageous prices that department stores charge. Have you been in the major department stores lately? Holy cow, they are charging an arm and a leg, so no need to buy there. It’s a slap in our face when they try to swindle a little extra cash from out wallets.

I never imagined a shirt could cause 110 bucks, nor did I think I would have pay that kind of cash for a shirt. I used to buy on impulse when ever I entered the department stores. I needed to have the new stylish look, I wanted to look great and I wanted to people to know I could afford Polo shirts. Course, now that I have my own family, they come first. I am sure your clothing budget is probably the same as mine.

We want to look great but do not want to break the bank either. Well I have found a trusted source where I find clearance polo shirts at discount prices.

Change is the order of life. So we have to try different techniques. Otherwise, our life will get simpler, and you will feel bored.

In addition, combining techniques is better, because change is the order of nature. If Bach Flowers work for a particular period of time, then on some other day it may not work. At the same time you may need to be quickly healed by some other remedy, say for example either Mudra Healing or Reiki healing.

That’s why I am giving you a lot of healing techniques to work with.

In addition, for some, one set of remedies will work, while for others something else will work. What is important here is that we are healing the person as well as making him come out of the problem.

[on BELIEF and ACTION]

It is possible to know one’s beliefs by looking at their actions, but it is impossible to know one’s actions simply by looking at one’s beliefs.

For belief is different than action, and rare is the person who acts according to his or her professed belief.

Humans are mortal, by definition, and know for certain very little about things immortal.

Hypothesis and superstitions, often termed belief, aim to simplify what is supernatural, i.e., what is not of this earth.

One’s beliefs cannot change reality, they cannot explain the past or define the future. At most, a belief may shape the present, and only our actions can agree with our beliefs.

If our actions do not match our beliefs, then it is only the present that we disgrace in the name of the future.

A belief which does not match our actions is but another’s, whose existence is never real enough to call our own. In this light, it is only possible to say that actions exist and beliefs are as only as real as said actions.

The action which differs from belief must relinquish any ties to that belief, for they are separate, they are an ‘other’ unto each other.

A fool professes a belief and guides not his actions to follow. The wise guide their own actions accordingly, and in doing so, set forth a belief which no soul can dispute, as it is backed with action.

This is something that is rising up within my soul. The idea of purity is something that I see has b

This is something that is rising up within my soul. The idea of purity is something that I see has been lost by many in America, even by me in many areas, and we need to start picking up our swords and our shields and begin fighting for this once more. And I guarantee to all readers of this post that if you begin seeking purity and holiness, the world will insult you, make fun of you, and even churches will call you a legalist. But this isn’t legalism, this is holiness. This is the set apart life that we, as Christians, are called to live.

We must be pure in all areas, physically and spiritually. This world is full of tempting things and it tries to pull us in to take part in its ways. I’m going to be bold in this post and I have already been called legalistic for simply questioning if things are right to do. But this subject must be tackled head on and I’m willing to stand for truth.

I want to first deal with the question of what purity is before I go into what I’m saying. Purity is the untainted lifestyle of a man or woman of God. It’s pure white paint without a single drop of any other color in it. It’s gold without impurities. It is a new born baby’s skin that has no scars or blemishes. It is holiness. Purity is being in the world, but not of the world (John 17:14-15).

Are we watching movies with sex scenes? “Oh, it’s just one sex scene, but the rest of the movie has a good message.”

Are we listening to music that says worldly things such as sex and drugs? I’m not talking about the style of music, I’m talking about what they’re saying.

Are we playing abominable video games?

Are we laughing at perverted jokes or racists jokes?

Are we entertaining ourselves with the things God hates?

Are we cursing and speaking unwholesomely with friends? “I’m hanging out with sinners just like Jesus did.” Jesus hung out with them, but He didn’t act like them. In fact, He preached repentance everywhere He went.

And what about in our relationships? Are we pure in what we’re doing? Sex isn’t the only thing that makes a man and a woman become one flesh. I have decided that I am not going to even kiss or cuddle with my future wife until we are married. I have a past of lustful sin and I am not going to tempt myself. I’m not going to name specifics and say that stuff like kissing is a sin, but I will say that if there is any hint of sexual immorality, that is a sin (Ephesians 5:3) and in our modern American culture, kissing isn’t usually something that’s friendly. Maybe occasionally, but I’m usually seeing kissing as something romantic. You make the choice and pray about it, but realize those things.

Now I’m not saying this to make you feel more comfortable, I’m saying it so that I am not accused of hypocrisy. I am not fully pure in all areas of my life. Until recently, I have not seen “a little bit of sinfulness” in the movies I watch or in anything I do as wrong. But let me ask you this: If your glass of water had just one drop of a dangerous poison in it, would you still drink it? It is just a little bit. What could be the harm? It will kill you. In the same way, our little impurities taint everything we do. We must stop doing these things.

We are Christians. We are called out from the rest of the world. As Peter says in 1 Peter 2:11, we are to be “strangers in the world” and “abstain from sinful desires, which war against” our souls. We have a different nature than we used to. We have been reborn and given a new heart. What God loves, we must love, and what God hates, we must hate. The Apostle John says, “Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world—the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does—comes not from the Father but from the world.” (1 John 2:15-16)

Romans 12:1-2 -
Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

We take these words lightly, but why? We must begin taking these words to heart. We must be witnesses to the world. We must be lights in darkness (Ephesians 5:8). We’ve been given new knowledge and wisdom that we did not have before. Now we must let this transform our very lives. The word of God needs to take root in us. It is our bread. It is what we take in. It’s what sustains us. And if our food is God’s word, it’s going to be evident in our lives (John 6:48-50).

Christ is our King and we are His loyal people. Let us put on our armor, pick up our weapons and our shields and let us fight for His glory. We’re living in a world that is against our kingdom. This world is a threat to us and I’d rather die a martyr’s death for my King than give up my loyalty to save my own life. Let us bow down before our LORD’s throne, kiss His feet and declare that we will serve Him in every area of our lives because He is the sole reason we even live.

We want to have peace and happiness, but we’re not willing to fight for the One Who gives it to us. We always want to be encouraged and pitied in our sinful struggles instead of wrestling in prayer, fasting, and fighting with spiritual weapons so that we can have victory over them through the power of God, but that will be another post.

Let us show the whole world that we are servants of the God of all creation. Let us let them know that we are children of the Father. We are knights of a holy kingdom. We are men and women willing to die for the glory of our King. We are different, so let us express this ultimate difference in our purity.

May God be with those that read this. I hope these words convict people and they settle on the hearts and minds of my fellow family in Christ. Know that I love you and I say these things in love, to build others up with the wisdom God has given me. Sometimes it is better to be tough with one another so that we can grow.

The holiday is something everyone can enjoy; it is an essential break to allow unwinding and reconne

The holiday is something everyone can enjoy; it is an essential break to allow unwinding and reconnection with family and friends. Sadly though, all too often these wonderful breaks from working life can dig a little too deep into the pockets. Why waste an obscene amount of money on travel really? It would be far better spent on having a good time once you actually arrive!

The problem is many people do not have the first clue where to start looking when it comes to holidays. The majority of people do not understand that an amazing holiday does not have to cost insane amounts of money. Quite to the contrary, some of the best holidays are also the cheapest!

Exactly how cheap you can get a holiday obviously greatly depends on what type of holiday you want. A cruise around the Caribbean or a river crusie up the Nile might cost a little more than a weekend in Paris. However, the process of finding such holidays is actually essentially the same, particularly with the help of the internet. Even if you have the money to burn on a Caribbean cruise with Amazon adventure it still doesn’t mean you should waste thousands of pounds.

The key to any good search is comparison. The comparison of different carriers, comparing different resorts & accomodation, comparing different insurance options etc. The more information you have, the easier it is to barter with them. They want your money, and they will bargain if they are being upstaged by someone else.

Until recently the problem with this approach was that it was a real pain and very time intensive; many people simply ended up opting for an expensive travel agent. However, the power of the interent has changed everything; the actual process of locating good deals has changed little over the last few decades. In other words, you just need to log on and browse for the best deals, usually in resorts around the south coast of Europe, and you can get away with a truly amazing deal.

For more savings, it is a good idea to be a little flexible; if you are willing to accept any town in the region you wish to visit, and you can be flexible with your flight dates, you will save a lot of money. The same is true if you can manage to go a little earlier – holidays are usually a fair bit cheaper in June and July than they are in August. Plus it’s a lot less crowded (and cheaper) once you get there as well.

Holidays are traditionally associated with sitting by the pool or beach, sight – seeing and drinking a lot. However, if you would like something a bit different that you’ve never tried before then cycling holidays could be just what you need.

There are many different reasons to go on cycling holidays and one of them is that they are great exercise. Normally people put on weight when they go away but this is very unlikely to happen when you are doing so much exercise. It’s a great way to go on holiday and stay fit at the same time as well.

Another reason why people go on cycling holidays is because it’s an ideal way of seeing as much of the country you are visiting as possible. Normally it can be hard to see much of a foreign country because of traffic and slow public transport. However, when you’re cycling you don’t have to worry about either of these problems so have more time to explore.

Cycling holidays are a great way to meet new people while you are away. It can be quite hard to meet people when you are abroad because everyone sticks with their friends or family. When on cycling holidays you are normally with a group of other like – minded people so get a chance to meet others from all over the world.

It is very likely that cycling holidays are going to be a lot cheaper than normal holidays. Normally the price you pay includes hotels and any other costs so you are unlikely to be spending any more money. As you will be staying active you won’t be bored so won’t be spending money on entertainment.

You can guarantee that you will be seeing something different every day when on cycling holidays. This is because you are taken on different routes which normally offer the best scenery. Many people find this a lot more exciting than simply sunbathing for the duration of the break.

There are many different types of cycling holidays so everyone is bound to find something that suits them. You can either go around by yourself or whoever you have been travelling with, or you can go on guided tours in which case you will have the company of other cyclists. As well as this you can select your route depending on your fitness level and how you think you would cope. With so many reasons to go on cycling holidays it’s not surprising that so many people are trying them out.

Awe, don’t they look nice and harmless?

…yeah, probably at first glance. But don’t judge a book by its cover!

Okay, as I don’t want to pussyfoot arround any longer let’s get to business right now:

Why do Japanese people always have to carry their cameras with them?

I know this is probably the most poupular prejudice however the answer to this question is pretty obvious if you know a bit about Japanese (working) culture.

It is a matter of common knowledge that Japanese people are real workaholics (also see “Why Japanese people appear to be married to their work?”). Consequently they do not enjoy that much time for vacation compared with us. In my opinion this is simply related to their attitude towards work or rather their hierarchical thinking. You might guess that leading executives at least indulge themselves in holidays but thereby you are barking up the wrong tree. Especially CEOs seem to have a distinctive addiction to their work! For that reason normal employees do not even dare to take more days off than their superior thus they better wholly abandon holidays. So to speak they are monitoring each other as everybody shares this attitude. This extreme modesty ist deeply rooted in their culture and society so it is not easy to get rid of it. I shouldn’t wonder if some of them have to suffer from inferiority complexes. According to their thinking “minor” employees are not entitled to too much of holidays. It might harm their reputation among colleagues and within the company.

Dude, this is something I would call control freaks!!!

You see, as Japanese people only have few time for going on journeys they want to capture as many moments and impressions as possible. That is way they always make so many click-clicks of basically everything – even of those things that seem to be unspectacular to us.

I have a Japanese friend, named Yuma, who came to visit me in Dresden. We went to the Christmas market and he was so fascinated by a huge ugly plastic Santa Claus!!! Of course he wanted me to take a picture of him standing next to this thingy…

Why Japanese people appear to be married to their work?

Due to the unwritten laws at work each Japanese business man silently obeys to there is a kind of social pressure. Probably they do not even want to work that much but it is fair to say that they are forced by society because no one wants to expose oneself. Well, this would also answer the question Why they would rather die than losing their face in public. Being employed is regarded as to be a social status everyone should be aiming at. It is a virtue that brings you respect and acceptance among society. Therefor hard working people are easy to recognise: You will find them sleeping, snoring and slobbering on the train.

Another point I would like to mention is the high living standard of Japanese people. This means that food for instance is extremely expensive and in order to afford life they are forced to work hard.

Furthermore they ♥♥♥ prestige brands just like Louis Vuitton. No matter how much your income is, everyone is seeking for a Louis Vuitton bag! The size of the bag is unimportant, the main thing is the brand itself.

Why do they dress themselves so…well, individual?

The everyday life of Japanese students is dominated by school uniforms, discipline and homogeneity. Dyed hair, pierced eyebrows, lips, noses… and make up – things that hardly surprise anyone in Western countries are prohibited at Japanese schools.

But as soon as school is out they slip into completely other characters and clothes just to escape from this mishmash. In consequnce of this everyday homogeneity Japanese students seem to feel more individual by clothing themselves in an exorbitant way that nearly dwindles into indescribable indescribability. Whether they dress like their favourite Final Fantasy character or just …different.

And finally…why the hell do they have a liability to sadistic TV shows???

As we know by know, Japanese people tend to be real control freaks. They always have to be aware of containing themselves by day and in public. Never do they complain about something – you could even spit at them and nothing will happen! (Well, what they probably do is to dream about you being tortured because of your offence… Sort of scary, isn’t it?) They need a compensation for all the things they bottle up inside their souls. This finds its expression in daft and weird TV shows e.g. where candidates have to recite jawbreakers and are punished if they make mistakes.

I do not mean to pose a negative view of Japanese people. Quite the opposite, these facts help me to understand these baffling people a bit better. Above all they proof that Japanese are not necessarily “crazy” or something but some of them possibly have difficulties with making a racket independently of what teachers, executives, parents and the rest of society think. I guess that is why suicide rate in Japan is so high. Especially pupils and students are not able to measure up with this social pressure on the one hand and extreme self-control on the other one.

Finally ther is one thing I will never get is this one:

You know what I mean?

The first type of robe that you may find when shopping for your child is the hooded type. Typically, the hooded robe is a type that is considered to be full length. In addition to being long, there is a hood that is attached that will fit loosely on the head of the child.

You may find this type of robe composed in basic cotton, but it is more common to find them composed from a terry cloth material. The material is typically quite heavy. It is possible to get a shorter length robe that includes a hood that is composed of a more lightweight fabric, but these are often difficult to find.

The “Spa Robe” is another type of boy’s bathrobe that can be purchased. Basically, this type of robe is short in length and composed of materials like cotton, and even polyester. In some cases, they are composed of both cotton and polyester. This is the most common type of bathrobe when it comes to selections for children.

The robes that you find that have favorite cartoon and movie characters like Spiderman, Spongebob Squarepants, and Transformers are usually spa type bathrobes. These bathrobes are an effective means of covering the body until the pajamas can be put on, and even covering the body after the pajamas have been put on!

There are many different types of boy’s bathrobes that you can choose from when seeking to make this purchase. When selecting one for your child, be certain that the material is flame retardant. You should also ensure that the length is appropriate to the child.

Choosing a bathrobe that is too long can actually prove to be a danger to the child. In the same respect, you should be certain that the robe fits well. If you know the types of robes available, it will be easy to select the appropriate boy’s bathrobes.

different paint ideasDifferent Paint Kinds

In this day and age there are so many different paints to choose from that anybody that only slightly know what to choose can walk away with a headache. There are two major categories in which paint falls in and that is oil based and water based. Stains and also varnishes also fall in these same categories.

Paints that are oild based come in gloss, semi gloss, or matte. Oil based paint happens to wear well and makes for a good cleaning surface. It is good to use oil based paint on doors, windows, or jsut about anywhere that needs to have a finish that provides a protection. If you need a good washable surface you can also use oil based paint on ceilings and also on walls. It is never a good idea to paint over top of wallpaper because it makes it harder to remove from the wall.Click Here!

Water based paint is much easier to work with this is because the brushes and all painting tools can be cleaned using only water. It is the choice paint for walls and also for ceilings and for textured surfaces outside.

When painting any new surface it is best to use a primer. By doing this you will prevent any paint from being absorbed. It will also provide a surface for the paint to stick to. The primer the you choose should be manufactured by the same company. Also you can use a water based primer for an oil based top coat but it is not a great idea to use a oil based primer for a water based paint.

The number of coats the you will need depends on how porous the surface is, and the thickness of the paint you are applying. The quality of paint also has a factor to the amount of paint you will need also.

Image : http://www.flickr.com When you look at a situation with different perspectives is often like

Image : http://www.flickr.com

When you look at a situation with different perspectives is often likely to learn things that will help us. Whether it is a problem, or something on which we are curious. Often, we find the need to use a different perspective to what we feel stuck. Whatever your particular situation, the following are some views that may enlighten you. To maximize the benefits of exercise, you will need to find some time can not bein a quiet location. When you're in space, caught a few deep breaths until you feel your body relax. A pen and paper have to note the following observations and thoughts of others or while you exercise or after it's over.

* Imagine yourself sitting in a cinema, watching your life or your situation on the movie screen. See what you notice that you never noticed before.

* Imagine a mountain spectacular. You have high powerbinoculars to look down and see what actually happens in your life.

* Imagine yourself in a relaxing stay for the activities you love. Notice that your mind wander in the view of the situation is a problem, or if you feel stuck, or if you are simply curious.

* Imagine yourself sitting in a train moves slowly and you are watching the situation has slowly towards the train ahead. Notice what you see.

Let me share a recentexample of using a different perspective. One of my coaching clients had difficulty moving through his writing. He thought he was working at his computer in a public place. He was in his black coat. The kind that leads to employment. And he had his thesaurus sitting next to his computer. The vision he has power so he decided to buy a new thesaurus as an inn in his image. Unfortunately, coffee does not stay open later than necessary, but notcreate a space of his house so that gave him the feeling of being in the cafe. Animated, and his writing began to move.

It is an area of your life when you have a problem or if you feel stuck? Or if you're just curious? Where do you want something different?

Why not try one of these points of view or a different perspective, if one comes to mind? Not only will you learn something new, but you may feel relief from your mind.New energy.

This past Tuesday, I just got a new book titled The Bravehearted Gospel by Eric Ludy. I must say, it’s revolutionary, it’s bold, it’s uncomfortable, and I love it. It has awakened my soul. It seems almost native to me and is almost as if it’s the cry of my inner most being that has been waiting to burst out of me since I was born.

It teaches the “manly stuff” of the Gospel, as Eric puts it. It reveals the loss of boldness in the Church in the past few decades. It’s a call to go back to the historic Christianity where men and women were willing to die for the glory of God. It reveals the fluffy stuff and extreme femininity that exists in today’s western Church.

An emergent movement has risen up in the Church that desires to move away from the old, religious, traditional stuff that was in the Church. However, it is going in the other extreme and losing it’s power against sin and fighting spirit for justice. Instead we’re basing beliefs off of the philosophies of men such as Rob Bell’s teaching on “springy” truth. We need a healthy balance of femininity and masculinity. We’re going in the wrong direction and I am willing to stand against it even if everyone is against me and falsely calls me a legalist.

I’m a man and the desire to fight for truth and justice is ingrained into my very being. This attribute is often discouraged in modern times and it’s time for a revival of this feature to take hold in the heart of men (and women) in the Church to fight for what’s His. There is going to be no revival with fancy music, pretty light shows, and comfortable sermons. True revival will convict people and lead them to repentance. It will cause us to start seeking righteousness, holiness, and purity. Whenever we stop falsely calling truth – legalism, conviction – condemnation, and correction – judgment to selfishly defend our sins and turn away from the loving act of our family in Christ seeking to build us up (no matter how tough that is), then hearts will begin to soften and men will humble themselves before God and real revival will spread. True revival will have people on their faces crying out to God because they see the seriousness of their sin.

I believe that these two points have been widely redefined and wrongly taught in modern times: truth and love.

On average most first time photographs of the ocean are sky, sea, and sand. After you figure this out you will begin to want more variety because, like counting sheep, a hundred photos of sand will put you to sleep. Adding rocks and a sunset sky can really make things more interesting but will that give a portfolio the variety it needs to stand out among others?

Images like this can anchor portfolios but can become repititve.

Most portfolios don’t go beyond a sunset set sky, rocks and moving surf. You will need to show something more to hold a viewers interest while they look through your work. Once you’ve mastered capturing the light you might begin to crave other things that are the complete opposite of what you ordinarily see while visiting the sea. Just a quick walk around with an open mind before you pull out the camera will bring so many different opportunistic subjects to your attention. This goes beyond sea stacks, cliffs, and tide pools. Here is very useful list that may help you in your search to diversify your seascape portfolio.

The main colors orange and green here are not often associated with beach scenery.

Sea Caves – Dramatic Surf
Seasonal Waterfalls – Wild Life
Rivers – Stars/trails
Land – Flowers
Lagoons – Large Dunes
Recreation – Trees

Many of the subjects are only found in certain areas so might have to little bit of traveling but not much.
If you really don’t have any of these elements around there are many coastal ecosystems such as flood plains, coastal hills and forests you can include in your collection. Do not forget your portfolio should reflect your best work so creating a uniqueness to your portfolio is not something that can be achieved overnight. I see it as a life long work in progress.

Finding less often photographed beaches can help come up with new ideas.
