Quite the piss poor, I-feel-like-disowning-you “performance” by the Sharks in their 7-2 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks. The Sharks should have just stayed home in their cribs and choked on their pacifiers rather than “play” tonight.

Give me a damn break. This was disgusting. Absolutely putrid. Um, helllllooooo? Um, hi? You little children play professional hockey. Sounds kinda cool when you think about it. How about you actually play the game. And try. Just try.

What the hell happened during this long layoff to make the Sharks play like a beer league team? They allowed three, THREE shorthanded goals. Two of them were on the same power play!

Nobody wanted to play, everyone played with jocks on their heads. Turnover after turnover, fail after fail. If there was any doubt left about our defense, those were put to rest. From now on, if anyone tells you the Sharks defense is good, go ahead and tell them to remove their secret Ducks jersey or to go watch the NBA.

What a joke. Jason Demers played his worst game of his career. Dan Boyle felt like playing with an injured foot because this was a big game. He did end up scoring very late in the game, but it’s refreshing to know he waited 56 minutes to do something with his life. He finished with a -4 rating.

Also joining Pimple — I mean Boyle — with a -4 rating were Thornton and Dany Heatley. For all the great stuff they’ve done recently, this game shat all over it. Good gracious, it was atrocious. They must be stunned to know you have to play defense too. What a concept!

With five minutes left to go in the second period, the shots were 26-7 Chicago. What in the blue hell is that about? Seven shots after 35 minutes? I could get eight shots on net by doing cartwheels the whole time.

At that time it was 4-0 and after the fourth, Ryane Clowe took it upon his messed-up-nose self to take a penalty. Brilliant. What a smart hockey player. Take a penalty and you show those bad guys you can beat them even with a man down. Ryane Clown. Blow me up a balloon while you make a joke of yourself.

Let’s go ahead and give credit to Chicago. They came in with an exceptional gameplan and their coach Joel Quenneville and perfected it. Sharks coach Todd McClellan was lost in the Tao of Joel’s stache.

This is the Blackhawks’ eighth win in a row and they’re no signs of slowing down.

Frazer McLaren managed a +1 for the Sharks. Ha ha ha ha.

-En las luchas, todas califican, pero va muy enfocada a lo que son los PPV, pues son las más importantes. No se incluyen house-shows ni RAWs ni Smackdowns ni AAA ni CMLL grabados para tele, a menos que sea evento grande.
-Habrá algo de lucha indie (ROH, CZW) pero como la lucha japonesa es poco accesible, sus apariciones son mínimas.
-Cuenta mucho, además de la calidad, la magnitud o el impacto de las cosas. Así, puede que Danielson vs McGuinness haya sido mejor que alguna de WWE, pero se le dan puntos a ésta por ser de un Wrestlemania.
-No me gusta mucho la música indie, pero trataré de incluir un poco de todo.
-Le batallé, pero decidí incluir compilaciones musicales si lo ameritaban. Discos en vivo quedan fuera.

As you can tell from the title, the contents will be the thoughts of your average anime/manga fangirl. As such, expect silliness, some immaturity, yaoi, a few perverted thoughts, and spoilers for several anime and manga series. Many people are watching the news closely for signs of major events, I am one of them. I made a bad call on 11/22. It was a prediction. It was wrong. I apologize to anyone who may have been stressed out over this, and I truly hope you accept my apology. November Twenty-Second, Two-Thousand and Nine…

First things first, the disclaimer:

I support the SEO efforts for the DoD public websites. One of my primary duties is managing the sites’ search engine. Although I’ve been working in web for over 10 years, I’m fairly new to the intricacies of search engine technology. In addition to trying to understand search logarithms, semantic search, and crawling/indexing patterns, I have the unique opportunity to peer into the minds of site visitors.

I use the keyword search data to help improve site navigation and content search optimization, and to help improve site search results for more frequently searched terms. What you will find here are some of the more interesting terms people are searching for on the many public sites the DoD manages – specifically, the ones that return no results.

I’d been tweeting select search terms for a couple of months, but at the suggestion of a few friends, have decided to move the No-Results Search of the Day to its own blog. I encourage comments. And if you are a search engine manager, I encourage you to share odd, weird, and out of context searches from your site.

While everyone is getting excited about the prospect of disclosure possibly coming next week on 11/27, they are overlooking the fact that there will be OVERT Alien/UFO presence manisfested on 11/22, which I think is a much bigger deal. However, just the fact that they are finally coming out in the open denotes that they’ll be appearing for a reason, which may forbode dire events preceding their 11/22 arrival.

If the “Unveiling” started on 11/11 after 4 months of silence beginning on 7/11, then this 11/22 event could correspond to the 1st Trumpet of the Seven Trumpets detailed in Revelation 8:6-7. This is BAD, very bad. Here is what we can expect if 11/22 is the 1st Trumpet: “When the first angel blew his trumpet, there came hail and fire mixed with blood, which was hurled down to the earth. A third of the land was burned up, along with a third of the trees and all green grass.” This would be catastrophic no doubt, and we are getting all excited just because a president is going to tell us there is Alien contact? We should see it with our own eyes, at least on the T.V. before he even gets to telling us about it.

I’m not the only source predicting a “fire from the sky” event, so did the movie “Knowing”. We have established now that 11/22/2009 is the “EE” date from the movie, which was the day the aliens were warning of, a day where the sun scorched the earth with a massive solar flare on “EE“, 11/22/2009. I would also remind you that the 7/22 SOLAR eclipse is exactly 4 months from 11/22, could this have been a warning-sign? Now the “fire from heaven” could be a solar-flare, nuclear arsenal deploymment, the “Aliens” themselves, or a whole plethora of possibilities. All I can say is, we earthlings may be quite a bit fried and frazzled by the time full disclosure arrives, as to be discerning about the “story” that is put forth.

As such, it would be remiss were I not to urge your immediate departure for entertainments of a lighter nature, perhaps a joke of the day website or a video of a fluffy kitten launching itself claws extended at the face of an unsuspecting small child on YouTube, for having given sufficient warning, I am unable and unwilling to assume any responsibility for your safety hereafter.

Obviously all of this tosh is completely dependant upon the presumption that I will, at some future date, return.  That is by no means a given.

You’d think the skull and crossbones would be enough to let him know that it probably wasn’t the best idea.  Maybe the warning, both in print and as read by a narrator, would make him stop and think that perhaps this might not end well for him.  Letting him know that these are professionals performing under the supervision of other professionals should have raised some type of red flag.  All he had to do was watch the subsequent show to see how it would ultimately end.  I’ll start dialing 9-1-1 because he didn’t listen to the warning and did try this at home.

So where did all this (misguided) audacity and bravado come from?  After watching a bootleg vhs tape in the early 90s, he decided it would be a blast to start a backyard wresting league.  Performing under the persona Hill Street Heathen for about five years, his signature move was a flying elbow off the garage through a burning table.  Perhaps it was one too many 2×4s to the back or steel chairs to the head, but when Jackass first premiered in 2000 he took to it like a hipster embraces ironic detachment.  He watched ever episode learning his craft and finely tuning his marketable skills – gracefully walking a tightrope over an alligator pit with raw chicken hanging from his jockstrap, effortlessly crashing shopping carts into bushes, and efficiently taking a sledge hammer shot to the groin.  However, 2005 and the advent of Youtube tempted him to reach new levels of (pardon the pun) jackassery.  Now, in a matter of seconds he can upload video of all of his stunts that he was saving to show to that special somebody.  Every car jump attempt, rail slide effort ending in a nut shot, and firework experiment will be on display for millions to see with the mere click of a button.  Little does he know, though, that his “stunt” attempts will almost certainly land him on the Fail Blog for the world to watch, critique, and shake their head in disapproval to.

All he had to do was listen to the warnings and not try this at home.  Hopefully he will enjoy the next few months in traction and finally take the warning to heart for next time (because obviously there will be a next time).  Perhaps one day he too will reach the level of infamy of the likes of the Afro Ninja and other Youtube immortals who have tried this at home and failed.  But hey, who knows, maybe he will be offered an opportunity for web redemption on Tosh.0.

As always, I’ve been perusing our dear Internet for ideas on how to improve this place’s visibility and appeal. My findings were quite useful, probably because I’m such a noob that nearly anyone’s advice is more than I already know. Check out this neat quote I found:

This is the summary of an article on the top ten weblog design mistakes. I’ll interact with several of those points here, but you can click the link if you want it from the horse’s mouth. As they say. Sounds kind of offensive to me. Some of the points, while valid, were ones I chose to ignore because I’m not running a professional blog. I have strong preferences too, and where better to exercise them than on my own website? But I do care about you too. How can I serve you?

The first mistake was a lack of author biography on many blogs. Which I’m guilty of. I’ve been meaning to update that, so I’ll do that now. I’m supposed to write something that will get you to trust me – my expertise and my sincerity. My natural instinct is to let the writing speak for itself, but I guess it makes sense that you would want to know more about where I’m coming from.

I’m going to take a rain check on the author photo, however (I don’t understand that idiom either, could someone who runs a blog explaining such things enlighten me? I’m too lazy to Google it. My, my). I prefer to let your imaginations roam freely, but I will start you off by disclosing that I have brown hair. Do I have a peg leg? Is my hair naturally brown or just dyed currently? Am I Asian? Indian? Hmm…stick around.

Apparently my titles are inadequate. They’re too cute and humorous (aw, thanks for saying I’m funny! See, what you don’t understand is that I’m practically a prostitute for humor permeation. An out-of-business prostitute, ugh). Titles should be far more informational, for they’re the most valuable words I type. People on average only read the first three or four words of a title, according to the article. And they don’t want to be messed with. I think I may politely decline on this point too, however. I like my titles. I’ll count on the tags to pull you guys in.

I haven’t done too much with links yet (although you’ll notice an increase already in this article), but because I plan to this next warning is also useful. I need to be clear about where my links lead. I like this line: “Life is too short to click on an unknown.” How true. And yet not…one could argue that life is too short to only click on what you know. Those “life is too short” arguments are typically fallen. But point taken. I think I’ve been doing a decent job; you’ll find on my title page that I explain the difference between clicking on the Writing tab at the top and clicking on the categories list to the right. I also detail how to subscribe to the RSS feed, because up until recently I myself did not know about this feature and its capabilities. Even now that I know about it and use it to keep up with the news (in theory), I’m terrible about checking it. I’m sure you’re more diligent, so to be added to your subscription list would truly be an honor.

Good reminder to keep my most popular posts accessible, so new readers can get the best first, and also to link to other posts from entries that reference them, so readers can get the whole picture. Obvious stuff, but like I said, I’m a noob. I’m also completely guilty as charged of “mixing topics”. But I did tell you in my disclaimer that I wouldn’t keep these linear. I will completely knowingly wander around a bit, or a lot. I want to, so like always, the desire will trump the logic. I hope you’re okay with that. If you ask nicely, I could write a really focused post on a topic of your choice.

Here’s a helpful hint for Mac users: When clicking on links, hold down the command key to open that link in a new tab so you don’t lose the original article. There’s no telling how long a simple ‘Back’ function will take. If you have a PC, I’m sure there’s some equivalent. I’m not a hater, I used Windows for eighteen years of my life. Yes, I was using a computer from the day I was born, yes.

Mixed topics are, at present, a characteristic of this blog. You get a little of everything. I have been told it makes the entries seem more ‘real’. You may think differently. Never fear, I plan to diversify. At least I’m not putting posts in numerous categories. I would not have thought that anyone would be guilty of that, but there wouldn’t be a warning if there weren’t the mistake, right?

Funny story: I was at the contract-signing for my new job (English teacher, detailed here) and as we were going through the contract, the staff member mentioned that every clause in the document is there because some past employee has attempted said activity. That’s hilarious, considering how comprehensive the contract was. For example, I’m required to wear a dark suit to work. “It doesn’t have to be black – it could be navy, or dark ash…we just ask that you don’t show up looking like a pimp.” Haha. I would’ve liked to see that. Maybe not a funny story? Okay. Mediocre recollection of an amusing occurrence.

I’m supposed to write like my future boss will read this. Or my future wife (that wasn’t in the article but I think it goes right along with boss and might be even more worthy of consideration). I understand that. But I take it with a grain of salt. The chances that either of them will ever view this is quite low at present. The chances that they’ll be offended is significantly lower. I tend to think I’m a naturally inoffensive guy, except to easily-offended people. But on the other hand, I can never know what someone will take issue with. I do have strong opinions. You can call me out if you want. We can talk.

And finally, having a domain name owned by someone else. Yes, WordPress. I’m alright with that. Sure, it screams newbie. I’m not doing this for a living; I don’t consider it worth paying any money for just yet. At least WordPress is better than Geocities. What the heck is a Geocity.

Those are the top ten weblog mistakes I found, as told by Mr. Nielsen. I’m sure there are many more I’m committing as we speak (merely an expression used here for endearment). Ah well. Live and learn. Live and earn.

Before when I was in the bathroom I had a great idea for a new wing I could add to this building. I’m really excited about it, so maybe it’ll already be started by the time you read this. I’m thinking about calling it ‘Introductions’.

Again I may be over-hypothesizing, but the perfect “PI years” window is between late Monday afternoon 11/16 and early Wednesday Morning 11/18, depending on your time-zone.

The optimal Pi-time would be in the early-morning before sunrise in Israel on 11/17, which is a perfect 3.1415 prophetic years from 12/21/2012. November 17th is also 3 years, 1 month, and 4 days from December 21st, 2012. But the pi-zone could be anytime through 11/18.

This is also lined-up with the Leonids meteor-shower -set to peak early Tuesday morning, Nov. 17. So we have signs in the heavens as well as important numbers lining up. Add up all these factors, and you have a strong confluence of indicators that the time is ripe for something to happen.

Of course, it could be any number of scenarios or events by 11/22. Aliens, Acts of War, or a catastrophic event…
