Eh oui, terminé le jeu. Alors pourquoi partie 1? Parce que y’en aura d’autres Y’a tellement de choses à faire dans ce jeu après avoir terminé l’histoire principale !

Oui donc, je disais, jeu terminé en environ 34 heures avec des persos aux alentours du level 67. Le combat final n’était vraiment pas bien dur, et je dirais même que je l’ai trouvé plus facile que le combat précédent.
J’en suis donc maintenant au post-game et je pense aller faire un tour dans l’Item World pour monter un peu de level, avant de débloquer quelques persos.
D’ailleurs je trouve bien dommage qu’après le dernier combat, on ne puisse plus utiliser Master Big Star et Salvatore ! Enfin, Master Big Star c’est pas grave, mais Salvatore je l’aimais bien

Que 2 personnages créés parmi 8. Il reste donc 2 places ! À choisir parmi les personnages que je vais débloquer, mais en attendant j’hésite à faire une archer et une magic knight.

Arrivé avant-hier avec un CD comprenant 21 musiques chopées dans les 3 Disgaea.

Pour le moment j’en suis à environ 14h de jeu, et je n’hésiterai pas à dire que ce jeu est génial !

Je ne peux que le comparer au 1, puisque je n’ai pas eu l’occasion de jouer au 2. La base du gameplay est donc restée la même, avec toutes les particularités qui démarquent cette série parmi les T-rpgs, et bien sûr, quelques nouveautés, ce qui rend le tout terriblement fun !
L’humour si particulier à Disgaea est resté dans le même style, et je dirais même qu’il est encore plus prenant dans cet opus ! Du grand n’importe quoi pour notre plus grand plaisir !

Bref, je crois que ce jeu va rester un long moment en ma compagnie…

Así es jovenes lectores de este su blog pitero y de confianza, resulta que si ustedes tienen su archivito grabado en su ps3 con 300 horas de juego en Disgaea 3 y quieren tener la opción de sacarle los chingados trofeos ya pueden descargar el parche con solo insertar la copia de su juego en su aparato.

Como recordaran y si no lo hacen aquí está la nota, NIS America había mencionado que el archivo no era compatible con la nueva versión del juego que ahora traia los pinches letreritos, ah pues que siempre no resulta que el archivo si corre a toda madre asi que no teman por sus horas de existencia perdidas en el juego, e incluso escuche que los trofeos son retroactivos, esto quiere decir que si ustedes ya hicieron una de las pendejadas esas de requisito para desbloquearlos automáticamente lo harán.

Yesterday started with me waking up at 1:30, nice. I had to be in Jamestown at 2 for a dentist appointment, lameeeeeeee.

So I go to dentist and she put’s some stuff in my mouth and then goes “Now you can’t drink or eat for an hour”. Then, as she turns to her desk to do some paperwork or something I look over and see the faucet with the little cups of water and just drink it, not even thinking about what she just said at all. She looks at me and I’m like “fuckkkkkkkkkkk” lmao

After that it was time to kill some time til my class started at 4:30 so I went to Wal Mart and the mall. Always a good timekiller.

And before I knew it, it was time for my class to learn about proteins and fats, for 3 1/2 hours… Ughhhhhhhhh.

I have no idea what I’m going to do today. I borrowed Prototype from Wade last night so I’m probably going to play that one quite a bit, and then I bought Disgaea 3 the other day so I might be playing that one for a bit too. Ahhhhh the life of an unemployed bum lol

Good Smile Company’s latest nendoroid is demon delinquent Raspberyl from Disgaea 3! Preordering start this Friday. She comes with a book, a chunk of meat and 3 different faces. I loved Raspberyl the most in the game… which you should all play if you haven’t already! I can’t say the figure is among the best I’ve seen, but she looks pretty cute.

Disgaea 3.  Yes, it’s supposed to be bizarre.

The first one was awesomesauce – and probably the last console game I spent any serious amount of time with (I casually VERY casually play the Wii Super Mario these days).  Didn’t even realize there was a second one.

Very curious to see how the visuals look on a PS3, and how the load time is.

Not that I’ll ever get a PS3…except if we decide we want a Blue Ray player, from what I hear the PS3 is the best one out there, so there’s not reason not to get it over any standard player.   ??

Phantom Brave is getting a Nintendo Wii port of it’s PS2 game. The port will most likely feature more character cameos, and will also include a new element. Unfortunately; Nippon Ichi fails to listen to it’s fans plees of a port that has WiFi and Online battles. Personally, if you want Phantom Brave, try the PS2 version and don’t waste your time with a un-needed Wii Port. A DS port would have been a better idea, but who knows, it isn’t out yet so all we can do is wait for more information.

Quick Synopsis – Defeat your father, the Overlord, who broke your Slaystation Portable which had millions upon millions of save game hours.

This is probably one of the most obsurdly awesome games of the disgaea series and the genre itself. The plot is completely off the wall and allows the player to laugh at almost every single character in the game due to their wacky jokes, puns, 4th wall breaking and references to pop culture/gaming/anime (approx over 40 references). Some of the weapons make a homage to movies, tv shows, and games. There’s even a character that acts like “The Rock” who calls people Jabronis.

Although the 2D sprites have not changed very much from the previous games, they still retain that dangerously fuzzy cuteness (sort of). Both the english and japanese voice actors have done an excellent job in portraying the characters to the point where either choice is equally good. Personally, Mao’s voice is plain awesome just because of his hilariously evil laughs and the “I’ll mess you up” quote.

Most fortunately, gamers can beat the main storyline in about 15 hours or so without much grinding (repeating levels to upgrade your platoon of doom). Of course, the main temptation to any SRPG like this game is make your characters awesomely strong through the use of item worlds (upgrading items/equipment) and class world (upgrading characters directly). However, beating the main story mode is only the beginning for fun. There are about 8 endings total in this game along with 7 side missions for unlocking new guest characters. Nonetheless, there are 19 unlockable generic classes in case one does not like the standard generic classes. On top of that, each class has 6 tiers, each better than the last. And for those perfectionists, one can try to beat the last superboss on the hardest difficulty, Baal in the form of a shroom.  Before I forget, there are also legendary skills that can be unlocked for each weapon class.

There is an immense amount of playability and customization, since just about every class is pretty much equal (sorry, there is no class that rules them all).

As of now in Japan, there are 13 Downloadable characters for about 200 yen each.

For those who loved Final Fantasy Tactics or Disgaea itself, give this a run and it will probably be your money best spent. Do not let the graphics put you off, cause you would be missing the point of the game itself. What would normally be a 15 hour game can be easily expanded to 100+hrs. New Game+ option is a very nice feature too.

Although I have beaten the main story, chances are that this is one of those games I will always fall back to when I’m bored, or simply want to conquer hordes of demons who are 20+ levels above my party.

This haul is quite a bit smaller then the last one, and I believe it will also quite a bit smaller than the next BUT these are still a lot of items to get in one day so it seemed post worthy. Especially because there are a few items here I waited a long time for, either because I had to hunt them or because I had to wait for the release, or a price drop. First on the bottom right is Disgaea 3 with the bonus soundtrack (I never listen to the bonus soundtracks I don’t know about the rest of you). Do I own a Playstation 3? No, there aren’t enough video games on the console that appeal to me yet so I’m waiting for price drops as I wait for my games. BUT Disgaea 1 and 2 became a pain in the butt to find for a while and I didn’t want to risk buying my PS3 and then finding out it costs $80-$100 to find a decent copy of Disgaea 3. I don’t think that will be the case for the 3rd game (like it was for the first) but I don’t want to have any regrets so better safe then sorry. Atlus games tend to be unpredictable so they’re probably the only types of games I’d buy for the PS3 ahead of time, and even then only certain ones.

Next is Midori Days volume 3 which took FOREVER to track down! I watched the anime ages ago and loved it but felt the story probably had more to it so I vowed to read the manga. Now…I got distracted by other manga series and before I knew it tracking down volumes 2 and 3 of this series was a major pain. I found volume 2 on eBay at retail but alas I had to wait many months to find volume 3 at retail price. I actually would have been willing to pay up to $30 for this volume because the only one I ever saw up for sale was from some idiot on amazon who thinks he is going to get $700 for a single volume of manga. Now that it’s in my hands I’ve ordered volumes 4-8 and I plan on reading them all at once when they arrive.

One Piece: Unlimited Adventure for the Wii. I’ve been interested in this game since it first was released. I’m a HUGE One Piece fan and this one is more Adventure oriented to boot (not a fighter game like the others). But I was still unsure of if it was worth $40 so I decided to wait until the price dropped to $20. It recently did that on Amazon right before it sold out so I swooped in and bought what I believe was their last copy. Whether it is AWFUL or entertaining I have no regrets since I paid only $20.

Mikuru version 1 by Max Factory, this character is from the anime series the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. This figure became a big pain in the butt to find at retail price and I had actually given up on finding her but I saw one on eBay and on a whim bid up to retail price and was (of course) outbid. But I got a 2nd chance offer on eBay at $55…which I naturally accepted. I’ll be doing a review on her shortly (right after I take pictures of Moka and Usopp from my last haul).

A small (trading?) figure of Chi bi Kaiyodo. Kaiyodo doesn’t always put out the best quality so as cheap as this figure looks I’d believe it’s an authentic Kaiyodo figure. So why did I want such a cheap small figure? well it was cheap (#1) and small is good for my quickly filling shelves but…I think that is a wonderful pose and I love the prop. Were this a gorgeous 1/8 PVC figure I think I’d melt over it. Although oddly enough the seller’s marketing tactics to SELL this figure really turned me away from it, for the description they put

“Sexy Chobits sitting on the sofa waiting for you…

please order me and I’ll arrive at your doorstep to service you.”

Kind of bothers me that sellers seem to think that the best way to sell stuff to anime fans is to make it sound perverted. Seems like some sellers automatically put “SEXY” in at the front of the title of every anime figure they sell. It’s ridiculous, one time I came a cross a figure of Edward Elric that was titled “SEXY Edward Elric Full Metal Alchemist Figure!” Now Edward Elric is a lot of amazing things…but sexy is not one of them.

I like the Chi figure but she isn’t worth her own figure shoot so here are a few images below, since there will be none later.

I got my North American version of Disgaea 3 in the mail yesterday from Play Asia. I was so happy I got it the morning after my birthday, and very conveniently just before  the weekend! I’ve been playing and loving the strategy awesomeness. You can see the trailer below.
