The way we’ll get these titles out on DVD is by reminding Disney that each of these title have a strong, vibrant fan base that is itching to spend money on new, legal DVD releases.  We do this by sending letters and e-mails, or by making phone calls.  The major element that gives these tactics weight is by shear strength in numbers.  To that end, the more of you there are each month writing to Disney, the more likely it will be they will respond to our requests.  So, we need to grow our numbers and find new members.

From now to April 7, 2012, we are going to be holding a huge membership drive.  We need more people following us on a regular basis on our web site, we need more followers on our social media sites like Facebook, Twitter and Google+.  When ever a Disney representative looks at any of our accounts, regardless if it is Google+ or Facebook, they should see a strong, active group of Disney fans who are committed to getting unreleased titles on DVD.  They need to see a strength in numbers, and know that we are very serious about our commitment to seeing this thing through.

So, here is what we are asking you each to do.  If you are not currently following us on Facebook, Twitter or Google+, please start doing so.  Next, post about the various accounts, or “share” our pages with others.  When you do this, please don’t just simply hit the “share” button, add a line or two about who we are and why you follow us.  Then, especially for the next few months, please be active in commenting or posting on Facebook, Twitter and Google+ and share with us unreleased Disney shows or films that you want to see get released and why they matter to you.

In the month of April, we are going to have a big e-mail event.  However, it is going to be different then past e-mail events (more details later) and it is very important that we have as many Open Vault Disney members both joining this next e-mail event and showing a presence on our various social sites.  If we are successful, we will hopefully go into the Summer in a better place as a campaign.  As always howvere, we can’t do anything with out each of you!  So let’s get out there and grow Open Vault Disney!
