Our DIY wedding

On July 18th 2014, Paul and I got married. I knew beforehand, that I wanted to do a lot of things myself. So in the end, I created the invitations, the guestbook (which is actually a painting), my bridal bouquet, the boutonnieres, fans for our ceremony guests (it was the hottest day of the year so far), and our own personal stamps for sending out the invitations. 328 more words

Image It occurred to me yesterday while I was busy planning and booking our honeymoon reservations that I was desperate to tell someone what was going on in my head. I have more than annoyed all of my bridesmaids. First off, If you didn't notice I am Kaysie. I am engaged to the sweetest guy on the planet, Colton. We live together with our cat Olly. We are getting married on October 11th, 2014 and honeymooning at Walt Disney World where we also got engaged. Our Wedding and Honeymoon does not exceed $5,000. In this day it is HARD to host a wedding, reception, and honeymoon on such a tight budget. Being frugal it is so fun to see how cheap I can plan my dream wedding. I have tons of things to post including:

  • How to book a honeymoon for $5,000 or less
  • DIY wedding favors/ wedding decor
  • Honeymooning in Disney World
  • Disney Dining / Dining Plan
  • Being Plus size and feeling/knowing you're beautiful
