Congratulations to the America people.  You have successfully elected the one person that can, and will, completely destroy the Constitution.  Thanks to electing Obama, we are losing all our freedoms one by one.  The government now controls our energy usage thanks to Cap and Trade.  The government now controls our thoughts and the expression of those thoughts thanks to the Hate Crimes legislation.  The government will soon control our choice of doctors, medical procedures, and general lifestyles thanks to the health reform bill.

 Is this the change that you wanted America?  For all the faults that George Bush had, he wasn’t intentionally trying to destroy the foundation of this nation.  Obama is doing this on purpose.  Having grown up surrounded by communists he was doomed to at least lean in that direction.  So it is no surprise that with every situation that comes up, he looks to his communistic philosophies for the answer.  In every case, he is wrong.  Communism does not work.  Just look at the fall of the Soviet Union and the horrible conditions in Cuba as examples of how bad communism can turn out.  Even China has started to implement more capitalistic solutions to problems because the old communistic approach doesn’t work.

 I read an article this past week about a “Constitutional Congress” meeting in Illinois.  This meeting had a lot of people with a large range of differing philosophies, but one major goal.  They want to preserve the original intent of our founding fathers.  They want to resurrect the Constitution.  They drafted a document that restricts the federal government from stealing our freedoms.  Especially our freedom of speech, religion, and gun ownership.  The document also calls the Patriot Act unconstitutional along with all these energy initiatives and the health care reform.  I agree with most of what they came up with but I don’t understand how it can make a difference.  Unless the American people start demanding that their representatives actually represent them in Washington, congress will just keep doing what they have been doing this past year.  How can we actually implement and ratify the document that was produced?

 The only solutions to our issues are voting out the current representatives or impeaching them.  I think we need to start impeachment proceedings.  Maybe if one or two get impeached, the rest will finally start to pay attention.  I would prefer to vote them out of office, but that would mean putting up with a lot of them for another couple of years. 

 The only other possibility is the Supreme Court.  If our current justices would actually do their job, none of these pieces of legislation would make it into law.  Since every single one of these bills undermines something in the constitution, the Supreme Court needs to strike them down and declare them unconstitutional.  But they have made it abundantly clear that they do not want to hear anymore cases related to our first amendment rights.  They recently chose not to hear a case concerning a valedictorian’s right to mention God in their commencement speech.  By refusing this case, they allowed a blatant violation of an individual’s right to free speech.  This is inexcusable.

 Our country is in a world of hurt right now and unless we act soon to take our country back from these communists, we will lose our country for good.  Come on people wake up and fight for this country and the constitution.

On y glane des informations sur son cheminement et ses préoccupations artistiques ; il n’oublie toutefois pas de souligner ce qu’il doit à son « salopard » de père, aux lunaires Casso et Éléo, à son épouse Élisabeth, au flamboyant Fabrice, au marchand d’art Leo Castelli… Il en profite également pour bousculer quelques clichés, comme ceux de la « folie créatrice », du rapport entre artiste et folie ou de la vie de bohème. Autant d’éléments qui font de l’Intranquille un portrait qui paraît honnête et nuancé.

Un témoignage qui laissera peut-être les aficionados sur leur faim, mais qui constitue une bonne porte d’entrée dans l’univers de cet artiste.

we all have our stories that we would like to hide. that we would like to keep secret. that still keep the lights on all night. that still keep the creeky boards around. but these stories are important to let out. for our development. for the development of others. and to share and to promote intimacy and vulnerability. without these stories there is no connection. no truth exchanged.

I think Brian Chen may be just winding us up in this article where he complains about Open Source/FREE software not being compatible with MS Office formats. Now even I know that Microsoft’s version of a document standard is completely different to every one else’s, so what is needed is Microsoft to make MS Office compatible with the Open Document standard.
Come on Brian there are enough people trolling Linux users without you taking a cheap shot across the bow as well.

Microsoft Word is one of the most widely used word-processing programs.Word processor programs primarily allow users to create and edit text documents. Typical use may include writing an essay or report, creating a resume, or writing notes. In addition, work can be presented in the form of inserted tables, diagrams or pictures.

Our second grading lesson is about Microsoft Word. As I remembered our teacher said that MS Word is used to create a document. In that particular file or data, we may enter, edit data just like inputing some text. Then after we create a document, we can save the contest and stored in the computer or other storage device. After saving it, we can access it anytime and the documents can be transformed into a hard copy through printing it.

Here are some of the basic application in MS Word.

How to select and copy information

• First open the document or file you wish to copy. Highlight the information (word, phrase or the whole article) by holding down the left button and drag the mouse until to the last letter of the word of the document.

• Then point the cursor to the highlighted document then, click the right button and select copy.
  
• Next is open the target word document then point the cursor to the place you wish to paste a certain
  copied document. Click the right button of the mouse
  and press paste.

Adding tables to a word document

• Go to the pull down tables menu.
• Select insert. Then choose the number of rows and columns you wish to insert in your word document.
• After it, you may now insert the data/information you wish to place in a particular cell.You can always add another row to the bottom of your table using the Tab key. The new row will have the same format as the previous row.

Adding word art

Word Art is a text-styling feature that is available in the Microsoft Office suite of products. It allows users to create stylized text with various “special effects” such as textures, outlines, and many other manipulations that are not available through the standard font formatting.

• To add word Art to a document select insert menu on the main toolbar and click word art. And this will show.
  

   

• Select the text style you want and click. Then type the word or words to be styled and Press OK.

Adding hyperlink to a document

Hyperlink (HyperText Markup Language (HTML) is a way of connecting a certain word, phrase, and even a sentence to another documents, website address and graphics. It is use to link to another address.

Microsoft Word allows the user to add a hyperlink.

• Simply highlight the word you want to be linked.
  
• Point the cursor to the highlighted word.
  
• Click the right button then select hyperlink.
  
• Then browse the file if it was saved in your pc or just simply put the URL of the file.

There are a vast amount of companies and organizations that utilize document scanning services in our region, and in this article we’ll look at some of those types of organizations and what they use scanning services for.

The vast majority of document scanning services are able to scan images of various sizes – often from items as small as a receipt to huge A0 drawings. The storage of paper documents can take up a huge amount of space, and while people may not wish to scan their documents or drawings and then get rid of them – they will be able to store them in a more remote location, and be able to utilize more local space for other things.

We feel though, that more importantly, once document scanning services have been used to scan documents/drawings etc., they are extremely easy to access and view by whoever needs to see them. When one considers that up to 5000 large documents can be archived onto a single CD ROM, then it becomes apparent just how much easier it is to store some documents this way, rather than having to sift through many real documents – saving time and money in terms of man hours.

In order to make the viewing process as easy as possible, many document scanning services convert documents to the popular PDF format file. These are considered a good option because they can be easily opened by anyone who needs to see it – the PDF reader is free to download too. As part of this file type, there is the PDF Searchable file, which as the name suggests allows the document to be searched. This is something that can save many businesses and organizations a great deal of time in the long run; it uses Optical Recognition Software which recognizes the letters in a printed document and converts them to searchable words, letters and numbers.

There are a huge range of industries that use document scanning services, from financial and legal, through to construction and local authority. Paper documents continue to be a very important way of keeping track of all manner of events and plans, but the huge amount of space they take up means that the ability to scan documents has become invaluable in speeding up activities in all manner of organizations.

Scanning documents is not always a cost effective option for some organizations though, which is why some firms provide a scan-on-demand service, which means certain regularly used documents can be scanned and stored for retrieval.

Readers, I owe it to you to provide an update on my writing status.

My NaNoWriMo novel is coming along fine, I suppose.  I am about three days behind the recommended schedule, but I feel that when it comes to crunch time, everything will come together.  That final crunch is always invigorating, and my determination will most certainly ensure that I complete my goal.  Disregarding word counts, and whether or not I will meet them, I would like to discuss another matter.  I have been bothered by my failure to provide a title to my novel as of yet.  When I hear others discussing their novels, and they actually have titles for them (fancy that!), their novel sounds far more orderly and finalized than say, my title-less novel.  I wonder, do other novelists enter their writing with a title in mind right at the beginning? Or does it come as they write more?  I feel like I have written enough to reach a point where I can give it a title, now at 19,500 words.  To be honest, I can’t even imagine having a title for my novel until I reach the final chapter.  I feel like I would give the work a title, but then so many plot points would occur in such a different way than I planned that the title wouldn’t even represent it well enough.  I can’t help but feel a bit irked whenever I open up my novel, and the document hosts the name “Oblate Nun Novel”.  This makes me feel so amateur in comparison to other writers.  Is it just me, or is a novel just a clump of words until it’s given a title?  When is it really best to categorize the novel under a short group of words, the selling point of the novel? And also, I feel like the creativity level that it takes to come up with a title is far greater than the level one uses throughout the writing process.  Such short phrases are so detrimental to the entire novel.  I think I will devote a few days to the development of a title, that way the condensed words will accurately depict my novel, but also peak interest.  But not yet, maybe it is too soon!  Who knew something so little could be so conflicting?!
