]]> <![CDATA[Time to Take Out the Halloween Box]]> http://houseofparadise.wordpress.com/2011/10/11/time-take-out-the-halloween-box/ Tue, 11 Oct 2011 19:35:36 +0000 houseofparadise http://houseofparadise.wordpress.com/2011/10/11/time-take-out-the-halloween-box/ I dug the Halloween box out of storage the other day.  I found my bedazzled black T that says “Happy Halloween” in orange jewels, my jack-o-lantern dish towel, the front door adornment, other random bits and bobs, and of course, the obligatory plastic jack-o-lantern, trick-or-treat bucket. The cutest thing of all, however, is the doggie costume Jack wore when he was two.

Riley who is a fierce lover of animals took to the idea of wearing the costume with enthusiasm, but had little patience for the idea in practice.  Maybe I’ll put her in it for a little while every day so she can get used to it…Ok, ok, maybe I just want her to wear it because she looks so dang cute in it.  Those furry puppy ears make me want to smush her face with kisses–just like I did to her brother two Halloweens ago!
