U kunt kletsen wat u wilt, maar Van der Vlies van de Staatskundige Gereformeerde Partij is opgevoed dat hij geen leugens mag vertellen en dat komt dan zo nu en dan ook in de openbaarheid…

Waar anderen, niet-gelovigen, Dijksma zouden uitmaken van een Breezermevrouw (we houden het verdomme netjes hierzo), dan bedoelt Van der Vlies daarmee in zijn woorden: dom en dwaas!

Het zal he je maar gezegd worden door een parlementariër die zelf op de woorden van anderen let en niet zal rusten voordat andere parlementariërs hun woorden kuisen en een betamelijke keuze maken ten aanzien van de te kiezen woorden die, in samengesteld vorm, tot zinnen leiden waaruit dan in welvoeglijke taal het debat zal plaatsvonden!

En ja, waar gáát ‘t over?!!!

SGP: Dijksma deed dom en dwaas

DEN HAAG -  De SGP is boos over een recente toespraak van staatssecretaris Sharon Dijksma (Onderwijs). Ze gedroeg zich daarin dom, dwaas, kwalijk en ongepast, vindt de partij van Bas van der Vlies.

Dijksma zei: „Op school moet je mogen zijn wie je bent. In die zin is de school niet alleen de plek die fysieke veiligheid biedt; ook de geestelijke vrijheid dient er te worden beschermd. Op alle scholen zeg ik daarbij. Ook de islamitische en streng christelijke. Als kinderen daar bijvoorbeeld te horen krijgen dat het niet goed is om vrienden te zijn met mensen die niet gelovig zijn, kan dat niet door de beugel.” Dat kon Dijksma niet maken, vindt de SGP: „Met het op één hoop gooien van christelijke en islamitische scholen zet zij het christelijk onderwijs in een kwade reuk.”

„De staatssecretaris stelde dat op deze scholen geleerd wordt dat het niet goed is om vrienden te zijn met ongelovigen. De SGP vindt dit volledig ongepast, al was het maar omdat de burgerschapsproblemen die spelen op islamtische scholen, niet mogen worden geassocieerd met christelijke scholen. Die functioneren al vanaf het ontstaan van de parlementaire democratie zonder problemen in het onderwijsbestel.”

Dijksma zei ook dat de rechtsstaat zwaarder weegt dan enige geloofsopvatting. „Dom, want de vrijheid van godsdienst staat niet tegenover de rechtsstaat, maar is er onderdeel van”, aldus de SGP.

Em setembro foram entregues os prêmios da Veja São Paulo — Comer & Beber. Ontem à noite foram distribuídos os do caderno Paladar.

Prêmios, em qualquer área, são referências. São sistematizações.

Por isso, exigem regras prévias que classificam e generalizam: tornam possível a comparação. Afinal, sob olhar rigoroso, tudo pode resultar, numa perspectiva ou noutra, incomparável. O mesmo vale para listas de “melhores livros”, “melhores discos” ou “melhores restaurantes”.

Daí precisarmos abstrair diferenças. Se não o fizermos, viveremos — tal qual Funes, famoso personagem de Borges — num mundo de individualidades absolutas e de pleno relativismo.

Prêmios também implicam inclusões e exclusões. E são sempre passíveis de críticas e rejeições.

Quando se limita tanto — caso do prêmio Paladar, que determina um conjunto fechado de 50 e poucos pratos, 30 e poucos restaurantes — é possível fazer uma longa lista do que não podia ter ficado de fora e perguntar o motivo de certas escolhas.

Quando se abrange tanto — caso do prêmio da Veja SP, que define um universo amplo de restaurantes: quase tudo que há na cidade — é possível questionar a diversidade de critérios em que os jurados se baseiam e duvidar se todos de fato conhecem todos os lugares.

A concepção dos dois prêmios é diversa. O da Veja supõe a presença constante e regular dos julgadores nos restaurantes: trabalha a longo prazo e fotografa com grande angular. O do Paladar valoriza o aqui e agora e fotografa com zoom.

Pessoalmente gosto de ambos. Porque ambos são o que prêmios são: referências.

Não à toa, a Veja SP Comer & Beber virou o verdadeiro guia gastronômico da cidade e o Paladar virou revista para ser melhor guardado. Não à toa, são respeitados dentro e fora da área.

Mas é óbvio: nem todos concordaremos com seus resultados. Sempre há o desconforto com uma ou outra escolha — ou com todas.

Na Veja, que elege “restaurantes”, suponho que o voto deva considerar tudo: da hora da reserva à saída do restaurante. A comida é fundamental, mas não é o único objeto de avaliação. E isso é bom. Porque comer fora envolve um conjunto grande de movimentos — além, claro, da mastigação. Um mau serviço ou um atendimento displicente pode jogar fora a boa qualidade da comida.

No Paladar, que elege “pratos”, creio que deva se restringir ao que foi comido. E, dadas as características do prêmio, naquele dia e naquele horário. O entorno continua importante e merece ser declarado, mas não pode determinar a escolha.

O primeiro “comentário blogueiro” aos resultados do Paladar 2009 destacou a diversidade da opinião dos eleitores. Acho que a variação de voto — e falo aqui especificamente como jurado dessa edição do prêmio, e não como teórico do assunto — resultou, em muitos casos, da irregularidade de nossos restaurantes. Pelo menos quatro pratos que receberam votos — um deles foi o vitorioso em sua categoria — estavam intragáveis em minhas visitas.

E se prêmios são referências, esta é uma questão séria que mereceria melhor discussão. Pagamos 60, 70 reais por um prato e ele pode chegar à mesa cheio de sabor ou totalmente sem gosto. Temperado na medida exata ou carregadíssimo de sal. Claro que todos podem errar e sempre é possível devolver. Mas onde está o controle de qualidade dessas casas? O próprio crítico do Estado, Luiz Américo, falou recentemente disso em seu blog.

Outra questão que o rali do prêmio Paladar levanta — ou, pelo menos para mim, levantou — vem da má qualidade de muitos dos pratos provados. Havia dias em que eu chegava em casa arrasado. Ok, o dinheiro desperdiçado não era meu. Mas quantas vezes já saí de restaurantes com a sensação de injustiça? E quantas pessoas não são lesadas dia-a-dia?

São Paulo tem restaurantes incríveis. Come-se muito bem por aqui, apesar das altas contas. Mas tem também muita coisa ruim, embalada em decorações modernas e bacaninhas.

Também por isso prêmios são referências. Para que as pessoas normais (ou seja, todas aquelas que não vão a 30 e poucos restaurantes diferentes no prazo de 17 dias) tenham alguma base na hora de escolher onde farão aquele jantar da sexta à noite ou onde comemorarão os dez anos de casamento.

Por isso, guardo a edição anual da Veja SP Comer & Beber. Por isso, guardarei a do Paladar.

No final das contas, entre abstrações, generalizações, inclusões e exclusões, calculo que todos ganhamos com a sistematização de avaliações e as comparações que os prêmios oferecem. Desde que, claro, não acreditemos que o gosto e a experiência alheia possam substituir a nossa.

Dois comentários para encerrar.

Primeiro. Um júri popular elegeu o melhor couvert. Claro que também entrei no site do Paladar e dei meu votinho eletrônico. Dividido entre meus dois couverts preferidos (Picchi e AK), acabei por votar no AK.

Segundo. Não vou reproduzir aqui os comentários sobre 50 e poucos pratos que provei. Todos os textos de todos os jurados estão (ou estarão) na página do Paladar — os elogiosos e os críticos, os que levaram o voto e os que não o levaram. Mas me dou o direito de deixar aqui quatro listas:

— a dos melhores pratos que provei durante a maratona;

— e, triste, a dos piores;

— a dos restaurantes que visitei nessas semanas e, hoje, tenho a impressão de que não consigo viver sem eles;

— a dos restaurantes a que não tenho, hoje, qualquer vontade de voltar.

Alguns discordarão. Claro. E ainda bem. Eu mesmo posso, amanhã, discordar. Ainda bem.

Gobble Gobble, right? Its gonna be a good day. Just me and the Rents. I have perfected the holiday “me” over the years. Keep your head down, do what your told and you can actually have a holiday without and argument. At least for the most part. Sometimes it doesn’t matter, its in the air and there is no where to hide.

I am probably gonna be cleaning all day. The flu took a lot out of me and I haven’t had a chance to do laundry this past weekend. Yippee! (cough, cough)

If all goes well these next few days, my Dom friend and I might be getting together this Sat for some fun. I know you all love that. (I do too!)

Well, I know everyone is on holiday so i will keep it short and sweet.

With the unfortunate loss of Al Harris and Aaron Kampman for the season following the win over San Francisco, changes are going to have to be made moving forward to continue playing at the level we were at. Right now, more than ever, is when experienced coordinators with good football minds earn their paycheck. What sort of changes might we see out of Dom Capers?

Replacing Aaron Kampman:

Replacing Aaron might be easier than fans realize. This is one place where the 3-4 scheme really shines. The fluidity of the scheme allows for very different player types to be successful in the outside linebacker role, bringing different skill sets to the table. Many of the players that play OLB have to be hidden by scheme to some degree, and Kampman was no different. Clay is one of the rare 3-4 OLB’s that seems equally at home in virtually any role.

It was obvious that one of the places that Kampman was schematically hidden was in pass coverage. He dropped on occasion, but generally that was limited to little zone drops. He was not left in trail technique coverage on fast TE’s splitting the seam, and did not move over to press and bracket cover a WR. This is in very sharp contrast to Clay Matthews, who is trusted to do all of these tasks.

Kampman was also helped rushing the passer both by occasionally playing a 3-3-5 defense that put his hand in the dirt, and by overall maintaining a consistent launch point without an excess of twisting and stunting. In other words, things that he has been comfortable with. It has helped, though it has limited some of the overall defensive options.

Replacing Kampman most likely will be rookie Brad Jones, though Brady Poppinga and Jeremy Thompson could see time as well. Brad couldn’t be more different than Kampman, which could work to Dom’s advantage in a very big way. Hopefully this is where Dom Capers separates himself from former DC Bob Sanders. Brad is not the kind of player that can or should be plugged in to do the tasks that Kampman did the same way he did them. But on the flipside, he does open up a lot of things that were not previously possible.

Brad Jones is extremely fast and agile, and is especially noted for his ability to drop into coverage. Like Clay he can drop extremely deep from the 3-4 OLB position, and has the ability to stay with WR’s and TE’s, at least when he has some help. Dom almost surely will be much more comfortable with him in coverage, and won’t be consistently making an effort to have him rush the passer, limiting his coverage to the bare minimum as he was with Kampman. Of course the effect of this will be to enable more blitzing/zone blitzing. Clay will likely get to rush more, but I think that the biggest beneficiaries will be the ILB’s, I suspect that we will see them rush a good bit more.

Having been a 3-4 OLB, Brad likewise was not married to a small little plot of land on the line most of his career. I suspect that his launch point will not be as rigid as Kampman’s was, and be more like Clay, who moves around in the formation a great deal. This is greatly aided by the defensive line; they are playing at a level where the OLB’s don’t have to be extra DE’s on run plays, freeing the OLB’s up to shut down any attempts to bounce run plays outside, or pursue the tackle quickly. Every one of our top 4 defensive lineman can hold his ground in the face of a double team. Brad’s quickness will allow Dom to move him around a bit to probe for pass rushing weaknesses, and to allow for more stunting and combo rushing, where instead of an every man for himself, the LDE (typically Jolly) attempts to open a lane for the OLB moreso than plow through himself. The faster the OLB, the more effective that is.

While changes will be necessary, changes can be made to insert Brad Jones into the lineup without a big downgrade in defensive quality. Brad has a different skill set and will have to be used a different way, but the overall effect should hopefully be minimized. however it may change the way things “look”.

Replacing Al Harris:

This should almost be rephrased “replacing Tramon Williams”. Replacing Al should be the easy part, plug in Tramon, but replacing Tramon will be a task.

Dom can go two completely different directions with this. He can do exactly what Bob Sanders did, and literally replace Al with Tramon, placing him at the RCB spot over the split end on the sideline, or he can take the approach to keep Tramon doing what he has been doing, at least in nickle+ defense, only moving him over to Al’s spot on base defense. Either option should be equally viable, the route chosen will largely depend on how Dom adjusts to cope with the changes.

Al’s position at RCB is unique in that the route tree used by most teams is somewhat more limited. Few QB’s roll to their left. The timing of read progressions and pass patterns cuts out a good amount of intermediate routes, and if the QB turns to watch his split end, he is also watching his best pass protector, turning his back on some of his worst.

Though our defense plays all sorts of different coverages, if you had to group them into classifications, Al would be more of a man guy, Tramon more of a zone guy, and Woodson more of a rover. Al played the least amount of underneath zone of the 3. When rolling a S into the box or forward out wide, and using a CB as a S in a cover-2, 3, or 4, (forms of sky and cloud coverage), Al was typically a bail corner covering a deep zone, with LB’s or S’s covering underneath. Tramon bails much less, instead if one corner is used in the short zones more than others, Tramon is that guy. Whereas Woodson does a little of everything, generally in an effort to have him where the offense most wants to go.

When Tramon did fill in for Al last season, he did an excellent job basically doing Al’s job. In fact there seemed to be some differences where we might actually have had better pass defense, as we did run a little more zone during that time, not necessarily becasue Tramon is better in zone, but because he seems at home doing either, whereas Al definitely (at least in Sanders’ defense) was more at home in man.

One thing that we will likely see, with the hopeful return of Chillar soon, and Jones at OLB, is return to sparse dime defense. Prior to Chillar’s injury Green Bay rarely ran dime defense, even agaisnt 4-5 WR sets. The 4th CB did not see the field a whole lot.

If we do put Tramon in Al’s spot and replace Tramon, likely an increased amount of LB/S bracketing will be required. Which could mean less play in the box by Bigby and more zone drops by the LOLB. If we replace Al’s spot and keep Tramon in his, we are probably looking at 2 different players dedicated to the sideline, either CB shallow S deep, or CB deep S/LB shallow in distinct zones.

Whichever direction Dom goes, replacing Al wil surely stress our secondary.

The Potential Positives:

While the negatives of these injuries are obvious, some positives may be taken away.

Tramon will be a free agent again next year. This year he played for just over the tender amount. This is his time to grab hold of the starting job for good (even if Al returns, I don’t think that he will return as a starter). This gives Ted and his staff 6 games to determine just how much Tramon is worth, and if he is a viable starter. I’d like to think, if he makes the most of this situation that Ted will not tag him again, instead giving him a full starting CB contract while his value is still on the low end of starting CB’s.

It also gives Ted a chance to evaluate Bush as a defensive back. I doubt that he gets another chance. He’s been developing too long, this is a seize the moment or go away couple of games for him. If he can hold his own as the 3rd CB, he’ll likely stick. If someone else is given a shot after he is, because he didn’t seize the job, I suspect that this will be his last year. He have replacements at ST gunner now; his hold on a roster spot is much more tenuous than it has been.

With free agency on the horizon for Kampman, few Packer fans seriously thought that he would return to the team. The prevailing though being that he would be franchise tagged and traded (similar to Corey Williams) to a team that runs a 4-3 defense. With this injury he now has very little trade value and almost surely will not be franchised, chances are he simply leaves as a free agent.

This means that Kampman will need to be replaced long term this offseason. That task is much easier if Brad Jones (or Jeremy Thompson/Brady Poppinga) shows that they belong on the field this season, and that they are the long term solution. If not I suspect that free agency and/or higher draft picks will be used to fill this spot.

Young guys stepping up to fill an injury void and impressing is one of the primary ways that players become full time starters in this league. Lets keep our fingers crossed that we have the good fortune of that occurring at both spots for us. The players behind our lost starters are certainly physically talented enough to do so, it remains to be seen thather they put it all together.

Today, I was working on a UI enhancement task where I had to do some DOM manipulation. Basically task was changing color of some SPAN elements in DOM depending on their value like if it’s value is XXX then show in RED color and so on. As always I was using IE to test my Java script code written to do the job. In JS code, I used “innerText” property of SPAN element to get the text of that element and then did the comparison to change the color and It worked fine. When I ran same JS code on Mozilla, it didn’t run (I mean it got executed but didn’t changed color of SPAN elements to RED L) . On debugging the script, I was surprised to see value of innerText property being returned null. When googled around it and found that only Mozilla doesn’t support this property L. Mozilla has another property “textContent” which has same value as innerText in other browsers.

Solution was simple, use an ORing of both the values instead of putting if-else block in code to use textContent if the user is running Mozilla or innerText for any other browser.

RICS анкетира 430 от членовете си от цял свят. От института определят като проблемни имоти тези, за които има съдебна заповед за принудително отнемане или се рекламират за продажба на стойността на ипотеката върху тях, като вероятно ще донесат по-ниска цена от пазарната си стойност. „Офертите за проблемни имоти вероятно ще се превърнат в по-голяма характеристика на глобалния пейзаж на пазара на недвижимости в идните години, тъй като рефинансирането на заеми и подобреното ценообразуване създават прозорец от възможности за банките да намалят част от експозицията си към заеми за имоти“, коментира старши икономистът на RICS Оливър Гилмартин, цитиран от Ройтерс. Не може да се твърди, че банките са се разбързали да отнемат имоти с просрочени ипотеки през третото тримесечие, като по-малко от една пета от оценителите регистрират увеличаване на заповедите за отнемане, колкото и през предходните три месеца. Прогнозата на института е през четвъртото тримесечие ситуацията с проблемните активи леко да се подобри, като се очаква ръст на сделките с проблемни имоти да има в 19 от 25 страни поради стабилизирането в ОАЕ и Южна Африка. За разлика от тях Русия, САЩ, Испания и Ирландия може да станат свидетели на най-големите повишения на продажбите на проблемни активи през периода от октомври до декември. От RICS са попитали членовете си също да оценят нивото на интереса от страна на фондове, специализирани в покупки на проблемни активи. Става ясно, че интересът расте в 18 от държавите, като начело е Китай.

Meus irmãos, confesso que fico sem entender qual a edificação que algumas mensagens atacando práticas de pastores e igrejas pode trazer a quem lê.

Quantos ateus, anticristãos, devassos e inimigos da cruz devem saltar de alegria quando lêem “cristãos” atacando “cristãos”?

Por quê não entrar em contato privado com tais pessoas e expor as idéias segundo a Bíblia? É melhor do que fazer uma execração pública. Muitas vezes, os escárnios e piadas feitos, por exemplo, sobre uma pessoa que ora em línguas, ou sobre outra que cai no chão, sooam mais cruéis do que aqueles feitos por não-crentes…

Nesse contexto, é fundamental o que diz 1 Tes. 5:19-22:”Não apagueis o Espírito. Não desprezeis as profecias; julgai todas as coisas, retende o que é bom; abstende-vos de toda forma de mal.”

Parece-me que muito “cristão” hoje em dia não está levando em conta esses conselhos. São aqueles que apedrejam praticamente tudo que é relativo às manifestações sobrenaturais do Espírito Santo. Eles falam dos DONS como se não fossem nada, quando na verdade são presente de Deus. Devemos examinar tudo, não desprezar tudo.

Uma coisa é ter cuidado com falsos profetas, com manifestações espirituais malignas,  se passando por homens de Deus.  Outra diferente – e antibíblica! – é desprezar tudo aquilo que a Bíblia disse que ocorreria, como milagres, sinais, prodígios, profecias, visões, sonhos, etc.

Vocês acreditam mesmo na Bíblia, na promessa de Jesus de enviar o Espírito Santo para nos ensinar?

Ou vocês acham que o Espírito Santo tem data de validade, e seus sinais só valiam para o tempo dos apóstolos? Não é isso o que ensina a Bíblia.

Se alguém nunca teve  uma experiência sobrenatural, DESCRITA NA BÍBLIA, como pode ter tanta certeza para acusar alguém?? Realmente, peço a Deus o dom de discernimento.

Amigos, se vocês não acreditam nos dons espirituais dos quais Paulo falou em 1 Cor. 12, sinto informar, mas quem está vivendo um Evangelho capenga, pela metade e distorcido são vocês! Está na Bíblia, faz parte da promessa!

Paulo chega a alertar em 1Cor. 12-1 “A respeito dos dons espirituais, não quero, irmãos, que sejais ignorantes.”

Lá em 1 Cor 12 tem a lista de dons: palavra da sabedoria, palavra do conhecimento, fé, dons de curar, operação de milagres, profecia, discernimento de espíritos, variedade de línguas e interpretação de línguas.
Irmãos, se vocês não acreditam nessas coisas, o problema está em vocês.

Digo mais, esses dons estão acessíveis a mim e a vocês. Peça-os! Se você não pede, lamento dizer, está sendo ignorante quantos aos dons espirituais.

É a Bíblia quem diz, não eu.

Lá em 1Cor. 12:11 Paulo diz que o dons são divididos pelo Espírito “como lhe apraz, a cada um, individualmente.” Não é porque eu nunca tive uma visão de Deus que vou duvidar de todos que dizem ter tido uma visão. Uma coisa é examinar e fazer prova, outra diferente é generalizar e achar que os dons não ocorrem mais.

Elias era homem sujeito às mesmas paixões que nós, no entanto Deus fez grandes maravilhas através dele. Não ache que é só para os outros, é para os que buscam.

Você sabe o que é um dom espiritual? É o oposto de uma benção material. Ora, quem fala tanto contra o materialismo dentro da igreja, deveria buscar com oração e jejum dons ESPIRITUAIS?

Existem pessoas possessas realizando sinais malignos, se passando pelo Espírito? Claro!

Existem pessoas falando em línguas estranhas ou dançando pela sua própria vontade e emoção, na carne? Claro!

Existem profetas profetizando pensamentos humanos? Claro!

Mas não sejam meninos na fé, nem ignorantes, não queiram mudar o que a Bíblia diz, nem mesmo um til, NÃO APAGUEIS O ESPÍRITO!

E tem mais, quanto aos fariseus, TUDO QUE ELES FALAM, FAÇA, SÓ NÃO FAÇA O QUE ELES FAZEM. Se tem gente pregando com más intenções, não importa, Deus lidará com eles. O que importa é que a Palavra não volta vazia, e muitas pessoas que abrem o coração estão sendo abençoadas!

Muitas vezes vocês que estão se portando como fariseus, não como profetas! Censuram toda manifestação espontânea, entregando um fardo pesado.

Não esqueçam que o pecado contra o Espírito Santo não tem perdão. Tenham calma antes de julgar, ore muito antes e peça confirmação de Deus. Não baseiem seus julgamentos em teorias. Peçam discernimento, pois o que vocês estão escrevendo é muito sério.

Por fim, uma passagem pesada:

Jak można tak nazwać kolor? Otóż jest to coś a la barwa miąższu dojrzałej brzoskwini (tej bardziej żółtej odmiany). A jak ktoś jeszcze nie jest pewien, to zapraszam do oglądnięcia sobie rzeczonego blasku kalcytu na ścianie w naszej kuchni. Malowaliśmy i sprzątaliśmy w sobotę duży pokój i kuchnię do upadłego, tj. do pierwszej w nocy. Pozbyliśmy się m.in. intrygującej większość Gości rury.

A w niedzielę zasłużone rozciąganie mięśni na basenie oraz partyjka w Mystery of the Abbey w Domu Rodzicielskim. Polecam tę grę (nie tylko dlatego, że wygrałam) – trochę trzeba pogłówkować, trochę umieć zadawać pytania, zabawa na tyle sympatyczna, że Mąż wytrzymał u Teściów ponad 4 godziny.

Z dzisiejszych ciekawostek: straciłam szansę, żeby nasze mieszkanie zagrało w “W11″. Domofonem zadzwonił chłopak, który szukał lokalu w okolicy, w którym będzie można 14 grudnia nakręcić fragment odcinka. Półwsie Zwierzynieckie – strzeżcie się!

A dlaczego odmówiłam? Bo nie było w pakiecie z wynajęciem mieszkania grania głównej roli! Trupka bym mogła zagrać. Całkiem przekonująco, jak sądzę.

Taka jestem cholernie zamknięta w sobie, spięta i wybuchowa. Mam dość robienia wszystkiego samej. Czasami życie mnie przerasta, a czasami nie mam ochoty wpuszczać go do domu, zostawiam więc za progiem a w domu dryfuję w marzeniach o spokojnej codzienności. Niby tak na pierwszy rzut oka jest wszystko w porządku – mam prace, dobre dziecko, dom i piękne miejsce, w którym możemy się oboje od nowa wychowywać.

A jednak coś nadal jest bardzo nie tak.

Czeka mnie jeszcze długa droga do momentu, kiedy usiąde i odpocznę prawdziwie.

I Den norske kyrkja (Dnk) er siste sundag i kyrkjeåret alltid domssundagen. I forslaget for ny tekstbok i Dnk har ein ikkje teke med namnet, men ein har innhaldet med seg. Siste sundagen skal ein bruke på å ’samle saman trådane’ og hugse på den domen som står framføre oss. Den katolske kyrkja (Dkk), derimot, brukar siste sundagen i kyrkjeåret til å feire Kristi kongefest. (Sjå meir her.) Sjølv meiner eg at begge delar høyrer saman. Dette ser vi kanskje best av evangelieteksten i Den katolske kyrkja (Dkk) på onsdag som var; Luk 19,11-28. Her møter vi historia om kongen som reiser bort, og gjev tre av tenarane sine eitt pund. To av dei investerte pundet, og sat igjen med høvesvis ti og fem pund. Den tredje, derimot, hadde gøymd bort det eine pundet i frykt for Herren. ”Herre, sjå her er pundet ditt!” sa tenaren. ”Eg har hatt det liggjande i ein klut. Eg var redd deg, for du er ein streng mann, som tek ut det du ikkje har sett inn, og haustar det du ikkje har sått.” (Luk 19,20f) Til dette svara kongen:

”Etter dine eigne ord dømer eg deg, du låke tenar! Du visste at eg er ein streng mann, som tek ut det eg ikkje har sett inn, og haustar det eg ikkje har sått. Kvifor gav du ikkje pengane til ein som driv med utlån, så eg kunne få dei att med renter når eg kom heim?” (Luk 19,22f)

Poenget med denne teksten er ikkje at kongen var grisk. Det ein må spørja seg er: kva var dette pundet? I innleiinga til likninga (Luk 19,11) står det: ”Medan dei høyrde på dette, fortalde Jesus endå ei likning; for han var nær Jerusalem, og mange meinte at Guds rike snart skulle koma til syne.” Likninga handlar altså om Guds rike. La oss difor lesa evangelieteksten for Dkk:

Dette heilage evangeliet står skrive hjå evangelisten Johannes i det sjette kapitlet. Ære vere deg, Herre.

33b ”Er du kongen over jødane?” 34 Jesus svara: ”Seier du dette av deg sjølv, eller har andre sagt dette om meg?” 35 ”Er vel eg jøde?” sa Pilatus. ”Ditt eige folk og overprestane har gjeve deg over til meg. Kva har du gjort?” 36 Då sa Jesus: ”Mi kongsmakt er ikkje av denne verda. Var mi kongsmakt av denne verda, hadde mennene mine stridd for meg, så eg ikkje skulle bli overgjeven i hendene på jødane. Kongefesten, står det i denne artikkelen, har ei direkte kjelde i 1880-talet, då mange var bekymra for sekulariseringa i verda, og kanskje spesielt Europa. Poenget eg prøver å få fram ved å ’kombinere’ denne og Dnk si feiring av domssundagen er nettopp at domen har sin bakgrunn i Kristi kongsmakt, som ikkje er av denne verda.

Men la oss sjå litt tilbake på teksten om dei tre tenarane. For det eg har lyst til å dra fram i dag er ikkje berre Kristi kongsmakt, men kva konsekvensar dette får for våre liv, og det ansvaret som fylgjer med dette. Som det heiter i Spider Man: ”With great power comes great responsibility.” Dette kan ein kanskje ikkje overføre direkte til oss, då vi ikkje nødvendigvis har makt. Men vi kan kanskje seie det slik: Dersom du har fått Guds gåve har du eit ansvar til å investere den. Det handlar ikkje om å vere grisk, men å overlevere det vi har fått, dele det med andre. For å skjøna dette, må vi sjå på forskjellen mellom det materielle og det åndelege. Det fyrste vi må seie er at vi ikkje er gnostikarar. Det er ikkje nødvendigvis ein motsetnad mellom desse to. Men dei er ikkje heilt like. Dersom du delar eit brød i to, vert brødet du sit igjen med mindre. Kvar gong ein deler noko materielt vert det mindre. Det åndelege, derimot, vert multiplisert ved deling. Ein åndeleg sanning vert ikkje mindre av at ein delar det med andre. Du får ikkje mindre del i himmelen ved å dele evangeliet med andre.

Dei to fyrste tenarane tok imot gåva si, og delte den med andre. Dei investerte Guds rike i verda. Den tredje tenaren, derimot, heldt fast på dette, og nekta å dele den. Men Gud ynskjer ikkje ei lang rekke frelste einskildsindivid. Han ynskjer eit folk. Dette folket består sjølvsagt av einskildsindivid, men desse individa skal ikkje vera skilde frå dei andre. Ingen i Guds rike er seg sjølv nok. Vi må dela det vi har, både det åndelege — og det materielle. For, som sagt er det ikkje noko motsetnad. Spørsmålet er om vi som kristne ser på oss sjølve som ’spirituelle materialistar’ eller ’materialistiske spiritualistar.’ (Med ’spirituell’ meiner eg ikkje New Age…) I den fyrstnemnde gruppa menneske er materialist substantivet og spirituell adjektivet. Desse er kanskje folk som bruker religionen som eit shoppingsenter, der ein kjøper mest mogeleg til seg sjølv. Religiøs-kristen konsumkitch. Den andre type menneske er dei som — sjølvsagt ikkje perfekt — er åndelege fyrst, men ikkje ser på det materielle som ein motsetnad til det åndelege. Poenget er at dei set Kristus i førarsetet. Vi må hugse på kven som er ’sjefen’ — kven som sit i dommarsetet. Men husk; Kristi kongsmakt handlar det ikkje berre om tvang og rå makt. ”Til dette er eg fødd, og til dette er eg komen til verda,” seier Han, ”at eg skal vitna om sanninga. Kvar den som er av sanninga, høyrer mi røyst.” (Joh 18,37)

Det vi då kan dra fram, er at Kristi kongsmakt ikkje berre er knytt til makt, slik det ofte har vore i jordlege makter oppetter historien, men den er knytt til sanninga. I ”Men Without Chests,” det fyrste kapitlet i boka The Abolition of Man, bruker C.S. Lewis ein metafor om mennesket som var lånt av Platon: ”As the king governs by his executive, so Reason in man must rule the mere appetites by means of the ’spirited element’. The head rules the belly through the chest.”^[1] Fornufta, rasjonaliteten er hovudet, kongen — det styrande prinsipp i mennesket. Men ein kan som kjent ikkje stole fullt og heilt på sitt eige hovud, på sin eigen intuisjon utan Gud. For som det står i Salomos ordtøke: ”Age for Herren er opphav til visdom, å kjenna Den Heilage er vit.” (Ord 9,10) Som Geoffrey Chaucer sa det i ”The Parson’s Tale” frå Canterbury Tales, I. 262: ”God sholde have lordschipe over reson, and reson over sensualite, and sensualite over the body of man.”^[2]

Og med dette i sinnet bør vi gå ut i verda, dele evangeliet med folk og leve til ære for Faderen og Sonen og Den Heilage Ande som var, er og vera skal éin sann Gud, frå æve og til æve. Amen.

Ontem uma amiga me falou de uma papelaria que está vendendo tudo a preço de custo porque foi vendida. Fui levar o carro pra arrumar a pastilha de freio (eu entendo de carro ta? rs) e aproveitei o intervalo pra dar uma passadinha por lá, pra ‘curiar’ as coisinhas. Na infância eu amava ir em papelarias antes do começo das aulas. Adorava pelo menos ver aquele tanto de coisa colorida nas prateleiras: lápis, mochilas, adesivinhos da moranguinho, canetinhas mágicas e caixas de lápis de cor com 258 cores da Faber Castel.

Andando entre as prateleiras tive uma emoção súbita: avistei um pacote de papel de cartas! Sempre, na hora do recreio, os meninos iam bater figurinhas de futebol e todas as meninas saiam da sala de aula com aquelas pastonas cheeeias deles, para trocá-los com as outras, e eu me lembro bem das regras: um grande se trocava por quatro pequenos, ou dois médios. Um médio por dois pequenos. Se fosse importado, não importava o tamanho, valia mais. Se tivesse cheirinho, também.

Me lembro de um dia tão feliz! O dia em que meu pai comprou de aniversário pra mim uma pasta cheia de uma moça que estava vendendo numa conferência pra ajudar a equipe dela. Fui pra casa e fiquei as três semanas seguintes analisando, contando e cheirando todos eles.

Ê Ciumêêêra danada! Não, não e não. Nem adiantava vir pedir: “não troco, não vendo, não dou e não deixo mexer”. Aí, ficaram guardados e os anos de passaram. Passaram, passaram e estão todos ali, no meu guarda-roupas, dentro da mesma pasta, na mesma posição, com os mesmos cheirinhos…e nunca fizeram jus ao nome: papel de carta. Quem sabe não dou eles pra uma menininha um dia. Enquanto isso deixe-os lá!

Mas falando nisso, tem gente que não tem/teve papéis de carta guardados. Tem gente que brincou tanto na rua que nem teve tempo pra essas ‘frescuragens’. Isto é coisa de quem foi criado no carpete. Mas tem gente que tem pastas e pastas cheias de dons. Dons natos ou descobertos mais tarde que estão engavetados há muito tempo.

O meu maior receio era de alguém vir pegar e amassar os papéis. Caso isso acontecesse precisava passar o papel com ferro pra ele voltar ao eixo normal. Dava um trabalhão. Eis o grande motivo pra que escondamos o dom:Medo de pessoas que não sabem valorizar, admirar e cuidar daquilo que a gente considera importante pra nós. Depois, haja paciência pra desamassar para que o dom volte a ser reutilizado sem o medo de ser afetado de novo, né?

I Coríntios 7:7 “No entanto cada um tem de Deus o seu próprio dom; um, na verdade, de um modo; outro, de outro”.

Os meus papéis de carta são diferentes dos seus. Isso significa que eu não sou você e você não sou eu. Tem gente que tenta sugar por osmose o dom de outra pessoa. Isso não é possível. Se Deus não fez ninguém igual não vá tentar copiar,ok? Pirataria é crime! Vá tirar os seus dons da gaveta e usufruir deles. Além disso, não troque seu dom por nada, mesmo que a outra opção seja ‘importada e com cheirinho’.

Dom não é pra contentamento pessoal, apesar da gente se sentir pleno quando está fazendo o que gosta. Dom é pros outros. É algo que você sabe fazer, que vai completar o que o outro sabe fazer. Dom é pra servir. É pra se arriscar, deixando que a vida escreva, mesmo que o corretivo seja necessário de vez em quando. É se deixar amassar, pra virar um aviãozinho e voar até onde precisa chegar.

O seu dom é pra mim, e o meu dom, pra você.

Quanto aos meus papéis de carta…podemos negociar…

It sure has been a while since I have posted anything here.  Some may know and this may be news to others.  I am a retired GySgt from the USMC and my medical care comes from the VA system.  Well long story short because of Hep C and a shot liver I am in a rehab (90 days) program in the VA hospital up in Temple, Texas. For  this 90 day program I have now been here almost 140 days granted I am getting medical care at the main hospital while I am here and I don’t have to travel all the way to San Antonio for doctor appointments but I can’t help but make the following statements and inform you the general public what is going on here.

I recently either read somewhere or heard somewhere in the paper or on the news all this money the Obama organization had given the VA system.  Well, I’m here to tell you what I SEE them doing with that money.  Remember I have already said that the VA system has been giving me good health care..  on that note.  They have just installed an extensive Wireless system throughout the whole Domicilliary (DOM as it’s called) however, there is no indication and I was even told by one of the installers that it is not for our use but will be for staff only.  I can only surmise that they are probably going to take the clipboards away from the nurses that do bed checks at midnight and give them PDAs or something like that.  If it’s there, why can’t WE use it.  I have my Clearwire connection that works here just as well as home but there are other residents that have no connection at all, PLUS the hallways around here in the DOM are full of brand new furniture, Desks, Cabinets, Credenzas, etc.. They are going into all of the office spaces where in some cases they are replacing furniture that was just installed last year.  So, in a nutshell, that is what I see them doing with all the millions of dollars that the VA health care system received under the OBAMA administration.  What’s an old GySgt to do but kick back and sigh!

Już chyba tradycją się stało że ludzie goszczący u nas nam gotują, dzisiaj odwiedził nas mój brat i oświadczył że zrobi nam naleśniki… Zaczęło się niewinnie przygotowaniem produktów a potem schody czyli ciasto co było za rzadkie okazało się że przyczyną była biała sypka substancja którą wszyscy jednoznacznie wzięliśmy za mąkę… do tej pory nie wiemy co to jest ale naleśniki nie wyglądały jak naleśniki i nawet nie smakowały podobnie, młody dodatkowo się oparzył i znowu praca kucharza spadła na moje spracowane w kuchni plecy…
