The Home automation is a new technology that allows the management of all housing resources. The term “Home Automation” results from the junction of the Latin word “Domus” (box) with “robotics” (automated control of something). たのしみな新譜のとこに載せわすれていたアルバム。10月中旬にstiff slackさんから日本盤が出るそうです。ボーナストラック2曲。たのしみです。なので洋盤のオーダーやめてみた。

90年代のエモ/USインディロックらへんをすこしでも知ってるひとなら、みんなempire!を聴いてその空気を感じるはず。でもなぜなぜ。
すごくおおざっぱに言うと「雰囲気」だろうけど、この言葉ひとつで片づけてしまうのと簡単すぎるので、その雰囲気ってのを別の言葉にするならなんだろう。ぼくの中でなんとなく当てはまるなとおもうのは「不器用さ」かなーとおもう。
リアルタイムじゃないしたいして詳しくもないけど、2000年すぎくらいからのエモってシュっとしてるっていうかスマートなものになった気がして。いやこれは洗練されたって言葉にも言い換えられるから悪いことじゃない。でもぼくはどうも深く入り込めない感があります。
empire!といったら華のないビジュアル、なよなよ？したひねり出すような歌声、けっしてスムーズには感じない演奏（ライブ映像も見たけどそんなかんじに見受けられました笑）。でもそこがいい。そしてアルペジオを中心に奏でられる、胸にくるメロディ。いちばんは曲のすばらしさだけど、ぼくは彼らの不器用さも通してエモーションとか、バンドの魅力を感じてるんじゃないかと思います。

ワイルドライフ / ヘッドライツ

The goal here was to design a product (something like the famous Violet’s Nabaztag) with one accessory who can control home appliances.

So I choose to design the white semi-sphere which is the voice of the whole system, with a tactile tablet and a stylet.

The basis, which is inspired by the architecture of chinese temples, permits to recharge the products.

The ideogram means hapiness in chinese. Once you have turned the product on by rubbing the white tactile surface of the semi sphere, the ideogram lights will come on.

This tactile tablet links Zaojun to the appliances of your house so you can control them remotely.

Peppermill Records: a fun little netlabel based in the mountains of British Columbia, attempting to make interesting musical art.

E’ con queste parole che si descrivono i ragazzi di questa net label che si diverte a lanciare curiosi progetti musicali liberamente scaricabili. [sia canzoni che artwork; la maggior parte dei lavori sono sotto licenza Creative Commons BY-NC-ND]

Navigando tra le pagine del loro sito potrete trovare dischi da scaricare per intero con un click o -in caso di release composte da piu’ cd-  anche disco per disco [o canzone per canzone], alcuni li potrete sia scaricare che ascoltare in streaming, altri ancora forniscono le istruzioni per assemblarvi personalmente l’artwork.

Per quel che riguarda i concept si va da dischi creati in 30 giorni [contenenti 30 canzoni realizzate da 30 artisti diversi sparsi per il globo che danno il loro apporto al progetto e poi lo passano al prossimo artista al termine della giornata] ai dischi che hanno il treeplanting come tema, ad altre piccole sorprese.

Molti gli artisti interessanti coinvolti, e ce ne sono di piu’ o meno noti [non mancano all'appello Venetian Snares, Daedelus, Populous..] e, parlando di generi e stili musicali, vi consiglio di dare un ascolto voi stessi.

Non e’ tutto: organizzano pure festival in bellissimi scenari naturali…!

Una delle cose che la rende un’etichetta interessante e’ la loro propensione ai progetti collaborativi: quindi se avete qualche esperienza artistica, potete inviare materiale tramite il sito per prendere parte ai progetti, o, chissa’, per rilasciare una vostra creazione sotto la loro etichetta.

Un’ultimissima cosa: se vi piace quello che fanno e come lo fanno, fate del passaparola [che e' di grande aiuto, visto che non ci lucrano sopra].

Il domicilio di una persona è il suo castello. Mentre la maggior parte di noi non può equipaggiare i nostri castelli con i tradizionali mezzi di sicurezza come fossati, torrette, cancelli di ferro e fanciulle, si è ancora in grado di rendere sicuro la vostra casa con l’uso delle più moderne tecnologie. Questa opzione high-tech potrebbe non essere così  impressionante da vedere come un alligatore in un fossato, ma è comunque un mezzo efficace per tenere fuori le orde di invasori. No, non sto parlando di laser o un altre cose molto complicate (o pericolose, se è per questo). Quello che vi serve è una porta con serratura RFID.

La tecnologia RFID è già utilizzata come strumento di sicurezza in diversi luoghi, così non si tratta di fare un grande salto per portare questa tecnologia in casa. È possibile impostare un blocco porta RFID in vari modi, ma qua vedremo il modo più semplice. Una cosa importante da ricordare è che è assolutamente consigliato impostare questo sistema con un’alimentazione di emergenza, in modo da poter accedere a casa propria anche se si verificano interruzioni di corrente elettrica. Restare chiusi fuori è già abbastanza grave, ma rimanere fuori casa quando invece si poteva avere un metodo alternativo per entrare, è peggio.

Questo sistema per la creazione di una serratura RFID è un metodo standalone, il che significa che non ha bisogno di essere collegato a un computer per funzionare. Anche se l’idea di avere la vostra casa tutta cablata per collegare il computer potrebbe suonare interessante, potrebbe essere complicata e sconveniente. Invece questo è un sistema molto più versatile che vi salverà da alcuni problemi di cablaggio per collegare il computer alla porta (a meno che non si desidera mantenere il computer a destra dalla porta) È possibile trovare le istruzioni su come installare questo tipo di sistema qui.

La domótica es la automatización y control centralizado y/o remoto de aparatos y sistemas eléctricos y electrotécnicos en la vivienda. Los objetivos principales de la domótica es aumentar el confort, ahorrar energía y mejorar la seguridad.

El concepto domótica se refiere a la automatización y control (encendido / apagado, apertura / cierre y regulación) de aparatos y sistemas de instalaciones eléctricas y electrotécnicos (iluminación, climatización, persianas y toldos, puertas y ventanas motorizados, el riego, etc.) de forma centralizada y/o remota. El objetivo del uso de la domótica es el aumento del el confort, el ahorro energético y la mejora de la seguridad personal y patrimonial en la vivienda.

Ejemplos de Dispositivos de un Sistema de Domótica

Los Dispositivos

La amplitud de una solución de domótica puede variar desde un único dispositivo, que realiza una sola acción, hasta amplios sistemas que controlan prácticamente todas las instalaciones dentro de la vivienda. Los distintos dispositivos de los sistemas de domótica se pueden clasificar en los siguientes grupos:

• Controlador – Los controladores son los dispositivos que gestionan el sistema según la programación y la información que reciben. Puede haber un controlador solo, o varios distribuidos por el sistema.
• Actuador – El actuador es un dispositivo capaz de ejecutar y/o recibir una orden del controlador y realizar una acción sobre un aparato o sistema (encendido/apagado, subida/bajada, apertura/cierre, etc.).
• Sensor – El sensor es el dispositivo que monitoriza el entorno captando información que transmite al sistema (sensores de agua, gas, humo, temperatura, viento, humedad, lluvia, iluminación, etc.).
• Bus – Es bus es el medio de transmisión que transporta la información entre los distintos dispositivos por un cableado propio, por la redes de otros sistemas (red eléctrica, red telefónica, red de datos) o de forma inalámbrica.
• Interface – Los interfaces refiere a los dispositivos (pantallas, móvil, Internet, conectores) y los formatos (binario, audio) en que se muestra la información del sistema para los usuarios (u otros sistemas) y donde los mismos pueden interactuar con el sistema.

Es preciso destacar que todos los dispositivos del sistema de domótica no tienen que estar físicamente separados, sino varias funcionalidades pueden estar combinadas en un equipo. Por ejemplo un equipo de Central de Domótica puede ser compuesto por un controlador, actuadores, sensores y varios interfaces.

¿Como actúan los Sistemas de Domótica?

Los sistemas de domótica actúan sobre, e interactúan con, los aparatos y sistemas eléctricos de la vivienda según:

• El programa y su configuración
• La información recogida por los sensores del sistema
• La información proporcionado por otros sistemas interconectados
• La interacción directa por parte de los usuarios.

La Arquitectura

La Arquitectura de los sistemas de domótica hace referencia a la estructura de su red. La clasificación se realiza en base de donde reside la “inteligencia” del sistema domótico. Las principales arquitecturas son:

• Arquitectura Centralizada – En un sistema de domótica de arquitectura centralizada, un controlador centralizado, envía la información a los actuadores e interfaces según el programa, la configuración y la información que recibe de los sensores, sistemas interconectados y usuarios.

• Arquitectura Descentralizada – En un sistema de domótica de Arquitectura Descentralizada, hay varios controladores, interconectados por un bus, que envía información entre ellos y a los actuadotes e interfaces conectados a los controladores, según el programa, la configuración y la información que recibe de los sensores, sistemas interconectados y usuarios.

• Arquitectura Distribuida - En un sistema de domótica de arquitectura distribuida, cada sensor y actuador es también un controlador capaz de actuar y enviar información al sistema según el programa, la configuración, la información que capta por si mismo y la que recibe de los otros dispositivos del sistema.

• Arquitectura Híbrida / Mixta – En un sistema de domótica de arquitectura híbrida (también denominado arquitectura mixta) se combinan las arquitecturas de los sistemas centralizadas, descentralizadas y distribuidas. A la vez que puede disponer de un controlador central o varios controladores descentralizados, los dispositivos de interfaces, sensores y actuadores pueden también ser controladores (como en un sistema “distribuido”) y procesar la información según el programa, la configuración, la información que capta por si mismo, y tanto actuar como enviarla a otros dispositivos de la red, sin que necesariamente pasa por otro controlador.

Medios de Transmisión / Bus

El medio de transmisión de la información, interconexión y control, entre los distintos dispositivos de los sistemas de domótica puede ser de varios tipos. Los principales medios de transmisión son:

• Cableado Propio – La transmisión por un cableado propio es el medio más común para los sistemas de domótica, principalmente son del tipo: par apantallado, par trenzado (1 a 4 pares), coaxial o fibra óptica.
• Cableado Compartido – Varios soluciones utilizan cables compartidos y/o redes existentes para la transmisión de su información, por ejemplo la red eléctrica (corrientes portadoras), la red telefónica o la red de datos.
• Inalámbrica – Muchos sistemas de domótica utilizan soluciones de transmisión inalámbrica entre los distintos dispositivos, principalmente tecnologías de radiofrecuencia o infrarrojo.

Cuando el medio de transmisión esta utilizado para transmitir información entre dispositivos con la función de “controlador” también se denomina “Bus”. El bus también se utiliza muchas veces para alimentar a los dispositivos conectados a el (por ejemplo European Instalation Bus – EIB).

Los Protocolos de Domótica

Los protocolos de comunicación son los procedimientos utilizados por los sistemas de domótica para la comunicación entre todos los dispositivos con la capacidad de “controlador”.

Existen una gran variedad de protocolos, algunos específicamente desarrollados para la domótica y otros protocolos con su origen en otros sectores, pero adaptados para los sistemas de domótica. Los protocolos pueden ser del tipo estándar abierto (uso libre para todos), estándar bajo licencia (abierto para todos bajo licencia) o propietario (uso exclusivo del fabricante o los fabricantes propietarios).

Elección de Sistema de Domótica

No existe ningún sistema de domótica que es el mejor para todas las situaciones, desde todos los aspectos. Cada uno se los sistemas de domótica tienen sus ventajas e inconvenientes, sin embargo, hay una gran oferta en el mercado y para cada situación hay uno o varios sistemas que se adaptarán a la mayoría de los criterios que se puede exigir de un sistema de domótica.

Para una elección de sistema de domótica adecuada (para una vivienda o una promoción de varias viviendas con zonas comunes, etc.) es preciso tener en cuenta los siguientes aspectos:

• Tipología y Tamaño – La tipología del proyecto arquitectónico (apartamento, adosado, vivienda unifamiliar), y su tamaño.
• Nueva o Construida – Si la vivienda no se ha construido todavía hay prácticamente libertad total para incorporar cualquier sistema, pero si la vivienda esta ya construida, hay que tener en cuenta la obra civil que conllevan los distintos sistemas.
• Las Funcionalidades – Las funcionalidades necesarias de un sistema de domótica suele basarse en la estructura familiar (o la composición de los habitantes) y sus hábitos y si el uso es para primera vivienda, segunda vivienda o vivienda para alquiler, etc.
• La Integración – Además de los aparatos y sistemas que se controla directamente con el sistema de domótica hay que definir con que otros sistemas del hogar digital que se quiere interactuar.
• Los Interfaces – Hay una gran variedad de interfaces, como pulsadores, pantallas táctiles, voz, presencia, móvil, Web, etc. para elegir e implementar. Los distintos sistemas disponen de distintos interfaces. .
• El Presupuesto – El coste varía mucho entre los distintos sistemas, y hay que equilibrar el presupuesto con los otros factores que se desea cumplir.
• Reconfiguración y Mantenimiento – Hay que tener en cuenta con que facilidad se puede reconfigurar el sistema por parte del usuario y por otro lado los servicios de mantenimiento y post venta que ofrecen los fabricantes y los integradores de sistemas

Orange s’associe à Sagem Communication et à Thomson dans une société commune, Soft at Home. L’objectif est de délivrer un middleware standard de communication pour les équipements numériques de la vie quotidienne. En ligne de mire : Microsoft, jugé coûteux et peu à l’écoute des opérateurs.

Orange s’associe à Sagem Communication et à Thomson afin de créer les prochains standards de communication entre les différents équipements numériques de la maison. «Notre ambition est de battre Microsoft, n’hésite pas à dire en souriant Georges Penalver, directeur du marketing stratégique et des Orange Labs, pour le groupe France Telecom. L’association prend la forme d’une société baptisée Soft At Home, détenue à 60% par France Telecom, 20% pour Sagem et 20% pour Thomson. Cette société établira les standards de communication entre les différents équipements numériques : passerelle haut débit, décodeur TV, TV, caméra, appareil photo, cadre photo numérique, téléphone, mobile, chaîne Hifi, etc … Par exemple, il sera possible de prendre une photo de ses enfants sur la plage, et qu’elle soit transmise de façon transparente jusque dans le cadre photo électronique de leur grand-mère à des centaines de kilomètres de là.

La passerelle haut débit devient l’élément central

La société Soft at Home emploiera de soixante dix à quatre vingt personnes. La passerelle haut débit domestique va devenir l’élément central de communication de la maison, en intégrant de nouveaux services. “ Notre objectif est de faire en sorte que les développements que nous devons réaliser en tant qu’opérateur ne soient pas répétés par vingt équipes de développement de par le monde, ce qui serait un gâchis, résume Georges Penalver. D’autres opérateurs et industriels sont donc les bienvenus pour ce qui doit devenir un standard de fait. “Cet accord n’est pas une simple manifestation franco-française comme le Minitel, elle réunit le numéro 1 mondial des passerelles et le numéro 1 mondial des décodeurs IP avec l’opérateur qui gère le plus grand parc homogène de passerelles haut débit au monde (LiveBox), insiste Georges Penalver.

Une plate-forme Open Source

Orange est en discussion avec des opérateurs en Chine, en Amérique du Nord et en Europe du Nord. La première plate-forme logicielle devrait être fournie avant la fin de 2008, avant que les premiers effets de la standardisation ne se fassent sentir en 2009, pour un réel décollage en 2010. Cette plate-forme reprend le logiciel actuel de la LiveBox, et utilisera des briques logicielles en Open Source sur un socle Linux. Côté standards de communication, il ne s’agit pas de réinventer ce qui existe déjà. Le protocole SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) constituera donc un élément indispensable. Dans ce cadre, le protocole UMA exploité par Orange ne constitue qu’une étape. Le logiciel sera vendu sous forme de licence aux opérateurs et aux industriels. François Josserand, anciennement chez Thomson, a été nommé PDG de Soft at Home.

前作Crumbleよりバンドとしての音が前に出た作品。それによってもっと人の温度をかんじたり、ポップさ、ちょっとわーっていう部分もあったり、楽曲に幅が出ています。前作のcarthagoやmorningのように曲単位ですばらしい！ってのよりも、始まりかたや終わりかたがきちんとできていたり、全体の流れをたのしむアルバムかなとおもいます。そしてこのひとの声は相変わらずやさしくてずるいくらい。

オフィシャルサイトもあたらしくなって、もうさすがにリリース決定だろうということでの紹介なのですが、Active Suspensionはどうしちゃったのだろう…。こないだausくんとPokettの話したとき、ASってつぶれたんじゃなかったでしたっけ？みたいに言ってたけど…。このリリースからまた活動を再開してほしいです。

轟音ダイナミック。買って聴いてください。いや、ほんとに。

とまあこんな感じです。

Active Suspensionというフランスのレーベルからリリースの1曲約20分の3インチCD。

CDケースの中の普通だったら歌詞カード入ってるところに、その3インチCDを収納するための組み立て式のクラフトケースみたいのが入ってます。もったいないから実際に組み立てはしないけど、なんかこういうのうれしい。

最初はチリチリしたノイズと波打つシンセだけですが、徐々にずーんとした音やらピアノやらぐるぐるした電子音やらが混ざり、10分過ぎくらいから「to see your smiles again」と力の抜けたつぶやくようなヴォーカルが入ります。ぎりぎりまでおさえておさえて、最後の1分半。混声ヴォーカルにギター、ドラムなんかも加わり壮大な盛り上がり。

人によっては20分は長すぎるとか、最後が大げさすぎるとか思うかもですが、ぼくは素直にすばらしいと思ったし、1曲通して聴いたほうがぐっときます。いちおレーベルのサイトだと分けて聴けます。

Domotic気に入ったので、これからあいさつはドモティックと言おう。

今日はいろんな人のオフィシャルサイトをチェック。
画像には特に意味はありません。

・Headlights
　　久しぶりに見たら、きちんとなってました。
　　1stEPであれだけすてきだったから、と期待しすぎるのは良くないなと思いつつ
　　いつかの日か出してくれるであろうアルバムにやっぱり期待。

・Gift Anon
　　一方、mp3.com（昔の）でキレイ系エモバンドを探してる時に偶然知って以来、
　　ずーっと気になっているこの人たちは相変わらずサイトに変化なし。
　　まあでもちょくちょく新しい曲は作っているようなのでいっか。

・Cosmicdust
　　同じくmp3.com（昔の）でAstrobriteに似た感じってことで知りました。
　　日記はかかれているようですが、新しい曲はないみたいです。
　　現在公開されている曲の中にはエレクトロニカのもあるんですが、
　　やっぱりWithout You、Samsara、Love Youのようなシューゲイザーの曲は
　　ぐっとくるし、単純にすごいなと思います。

・Confusion Ends.
　　mp3.com.auで知りました。
　　こっちも進展なし。
　　でもこの人は天才（な気がする）。

・Biffy Clyro
　　この間、渋谷陽一Radioで流れてたの思い出してチェック。
　　流れてた曲あんまりだったなとか思いつつサイト見たら
　　相変わらずのデザイン…。
　　すんごい趣味してるよなあ・・笑わせたいのか・・？

・Ariel Kill Him
ニュース見たら、デイヴィッドさんがニューバンドを作ってました。
◆ここで曲聴けるんですが、なんだかAKHよりも若くなってますね。
本業？のAKHも新譜リリースのようで、こっちは安心の内容。
大好きなエモアーティストです。
この画像はアイコン作ったから使ってね、みたいなことが書いてあったので。
