Mozart Project

Prague, Czech Republic: September 7th, 2014

Prague is just fantastic, I can’t believe how much I love this city so far. It reminds me of a mix of Florence and Paris, in good ways and bad: kick ass transit system, gorgeous ancient architecture, a rich culture, but also lots of tourists and nothing seems to be clearly marked (I love Europe, but I still don’t understand the whole ‘street sign on the buildings’ thing). 327 more words

Mozart Was a Drunk

Did you know that Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was a procrastinator and a drunk?  Me neither.  I read that somewhere recently.  Not exactly those words, but what I read indicated that Mozart wrote “Don Giovanni,” a two act opera, the same day it was performed for the first time, while suffering from a massive hangover.  916 more words
