The share of U.S. credit card holders who are 90 or more days delinquent fell to 1.1 percent in the third quarter, down nearly 6 percent from the second quarter, according to a new report by TransUnion, one of the leading credit-reporting agencies.

Mississippi topped all states with a 13.4 percent quarterly drop in its delinquency rate.”

How to find your face shape:
There are many ways to find your shape, from the simple (tie your hair back and trace your face shape on the mirror with lipstick) to the silly (put a towel over your head and have your husband guess the shape). But a true measurement of your face shape is in, well, its measurements! Write down these measurements on a piece of paper to determine your face shape:

1.) Measure your forehead at the widest points
2.) Measure your face across your cheekbones
3.) Measure your jawline at the widest points
4.) Measure your face vertically from hairline to chin

Oval — Length is equal to one and a half times the width
Round — Width and length are almost the same, within a half inch
Long — Longer than it is wide
Pear — Wide chin with a narrower forehead
Heart — Wide at forehead and cheekbones, very narrow at chin
Square — Forehead, cheekbones and jawline are about the same width
Diamond — Wider at cheeckbones, narrow at forehead and jawline

How to Find the Perfect Pair of Earrings:

Oval – This face shape is the most versatile and you can wear nearly any style of earring. So go for it and have fun! Try anything from the round Jasmine Filigree Earrings to the funky Lily Flower Earrings. If you have a narrower face, you might want to veer away from long, thin earrings, especially when worn with your hair up, since it may exaggerate your face shape. E’ divertente e non serve grande attrezzatura.
La cosa importante è usare alte velocità di scatto e sopratutto il flash, che consente di “congelare” l’istate.
Se non hai un flash esterno puoi usare anche quello a bordo della macchina.

Un buon consiglio è poi quello di fare tantissimi scatti, anche a raffica. 

Per chi non l’ha mai fatto e vuole provare a cimentarsi, questo video è un buon tutorial.

This picture is of the Gloucester River above the falls pictured in the last two posts.

There are a series of falls along this stretch of the river, including a section I have been unable to reach because of the drop. One day I hope to trace the river upstream and locate the last section of the falls and get some photos.

The area photographed includes some great little spots for a dip on a hot day.

I’ve been taking cocoa breaks at night. Helps relax me. Gives me energy to keep going. I have a lot of sound editing to do before Thanksgiving. The good part is the record is all done and all i have to do is edit the loops.

I just wanted to quickly share a little realization I had yesterday…

So I’m in this Italian cafe, looking forward to having a nice cappuccino & a sweet biscuit to accompany. But which biscuit do I choose? Ah, the conflict of decisions, we are all faced with having to make choices and sometimes the prospect of making the wrong choice can be immobilizing – however big or small the potential effect of that decision may be.

My initial preference was a jam drop shortbread cookie…but then I settled on the chocolate biscotti…only to spend the whole cafe experience wishing I had gone with the jam drop cookie. By the time all was gone I found myself feeling frustrated and unsatisfied.

Frustrated that I hadn’t enjoyed the treat mindfully.

Unsatisfied because I felt that I would have enjoyed the jam drop more.

So in feeling this discontentment I took a moment to explore the situation a little more…

“How can I avoid this sensation in the future?”

I’ve been here before. A small example, but relevant nonetheless…

Last time I came to the conclusion that I should always just go with my initial preference. Yet obviously I ignored that advice – as here I am. So what more is there to learn?

I thought about the people who inspire to be a better person. Particularly this ‘loony’ yogi character I met in the park the other day. What would he do?

“Accept his choice and enjoy whatever he has for what it is – enough”. Don’t you just love it when a suitable answer magically joins your previously confused consciousness?

“The ideal isn’t to make the right choice, but to accept and be content with the choice that you make. Stop weighing up the options and just enjoy the chosen possibility for what it is.”

I wanted to share this because I am proud – not so much of the answer itself – but of the thought process behind it. I considered what I had already learnt in the past from similar situations – but built on it. That’s progress.

Too often do I just settle for things as being a result of a mistake, rather than having learnt enough from the previous experience.

When you find yourself in the same state over again there is more to learn.
