Such an awesome band we saw the other night! It was my second time seeing acid mothers temple. If you don’t know about them they are a psychedelic Japanese jam band. Probably some of the nicest most patient guys I’ve ever met. My boyfriend and I bought a snare head that had custom drawings from Kawabata(the guitarist) and signed by the band. I posted a photo below. Never seen anything like it in my life truly original.

Check out this video in which Brian Frasier-Moore (the drummer of Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet Tour) talks about his TAMA signature snare! Brian is also sampling the snare so we can get a first taste of what it sounds like!

There are 3 prototypes, Black Nickel hoops and lugs 1) with black sparkle paint & silver chrome sparkle band, 2) with chrome inlay & black sparkle paint and 3) with natural bubinga wood & chrome inlay.

You can take a closer look of it at the 2010 NAMM where it will be officially introduced to the public! Brian is gonna be there as well, so make sure to drop by the TAMA booth and say hi!
