Sebenarnya ini bukan masalah ideologi atau kesadaran dari suatu renungan… Melainkan kegembiraan saya ketika mengetahui bahwa saldo di rekeningku sudah lebih dari cukup untuk nge-purchase seunit digicam .  Saya langsung siap-siap berangkat ke Bandung Electronic Center untuk membeli kamera digital yang sudah lama saya idam-idamkan.  Kebetulan ada seorang rekan yang ingin ditemani ke BEC untuk hunting produk Sony Ericsson.  Entah mengapa saya dipilih sebagai mahkluk yang pantas menemaninya, mungkin karena dia tahu kalau saya ini SONY and Sony Ericsson minded jadi bisa dijadikan konsultan :p… Tapi hal yang membuat keberuntungan bagiku tidak lain karena doi punya motor, jadi saya ga perlu naek angkot 3 kali dari kosanku yang terletak nun jauh disebelah selatan bandung (kabupaten loh, bukan kotanya), Dayeuh Kolot…

Sebelum ke BEC kami mampir di Sony Ericsson Service Center @ jl. karapitan buat ngambil earphone HPM 82 ku yang udah ngendep di sana hampir 3 Minggu.  Bukan kesalahan Service Centernya sih, soalnya waktu clerk-nya nelpon buat konfirmasi pengambilan barang, saya masih berada nun jauh di sulawesi menikmati hangatnya sunset pantai losari bersama keluarga di saat libur lebaran.

Selagi menanti antrian, teman saya kemudian mengintrogasi saya dengan berbagai pertanyaan mengenai produk Sony Ericsson, kebetulan prototype tiap class dari Walkman hingga Cyber-shot dipajang di berbagai meja bundar yang tersebar di tengah ruang tunggu itu, jadi lebih mudah ngejelasinnya.  Kalau dipikir-pikir, saya sepertinya lebih cocok jadi sales dari pada mahasiswa informatika (semoga aja ga ada yang mikirin.. hehehe) .  Kami kemudian bergegas menuju BEC setelah earphoneku sudah berada dalam tas denimku.

BEC ramai seperti biasanya, berbagai perbincangan transaksi dan tawar-menawar terdengar riuh memenuhi ruangan.  kami berdua langsung menuju ke 3rd Floor untuk melakukan searching.  tidak sulit menemukan kamera digital itu, setelah membanding-bandingkan harga dengan counter lain akhirnya transaksi dilakukan dengan cashier pada counter terakhir.  Sebenarnya counter itu menawarkan harga 25 ribu lebih mahal, namun kilau warna biru dari casing stainless steel kamera digital itu cuma kutemukan di situ. (that’s my fave color).  Setelah transaksi, cuci mata (ngeliat gadget lho…), ngemil en Shalat, kami langsung kembali menuju peradaban dayeuh kolot.  Terjebak macet beberapa kali, namun Alhamdullah tiba dengan selamat.

Setelah saling mengucapkan terima kasih, segera kubuka pintu kamar dan langsung merebahkan diriku di atas kasur.  Melelahkan, namun kotak berbentuk trapesium khas packaging Digital Still Camera dari Sony mampu mengembalikan semua energiku.  dengan lincah tanganku membuka dus tersebut dan langsung memasukkan batere Lithium-Ion NP-BD1 kedalam body Cyber-shot DSC T2 dan langsung menekan tombol power .  logam yang menyelimuti body kamera itu terasa dingin di tanganku, terlihat kokoh dan solid.  setelah melakukan skimming manual book, beberapa aksi jepret pun kulakukan, kebanyakan dengan mode macro, dan Sony Ericsson W950i-ku yang menjadi korban pertama.

Kehebatan asisten baruku ini sangat memuaskan, berikut daftar skill yang doi miliki…

Good day Blog World.

Let me share with you one thing about me, I am no techno freak, even though my future career would required me to be one. (Sorry for using the word freak, I cannot use any word to fully describe the type of person who are really into gadgets and gizmos. Don’t worry, when I say freak I mean of it in a good way c:) Well, maybe I am for I secretly drool over these shiny objects, which make man’s life less miserable. If only I could afford all the gadgets and gizmos, I would. But unfortunately, most of the time I AM BROKE. I don’t have enough moolahs to spare and I don’t want my parents to know any of my life scenarios.

I wonder, what should I call those people who are no techno freak like me but secretly wants to be a techno freak..? Anyway,  I would contemplate on this stupid question of mine later on.

Don’t get me wrong but as I have stated before, my course required me to be a techie. I am enrolled in an IT course, which is exposing me more into techie-ness (whatever that means!). For the record, I do own a laptop, some cellular phones, some mp3s and some  personal gizmos that would helped me make my life a breeze. And for another record, I haven’t bought any of these gadgets with my own money. (Haha!)

Oh how I wished that I could have bought an iPod Touch or an iPhone. I drool over having a PSP or a Nintendo DS Lite.  An old school Gameboy would do. I am not a fan of Wii but it would be fine. I secretly dreamed of having a kick-ass Blackberry phone. And oh let us not forget my ultimate dream of owning a DSLR camera, any brand would be acceptable. YUMMY..!

As I was browsing the Internet, I suddenly stumbled into this new Sony Cybershot T Series Cameras. I so love how they look like as well as its specs. But with the price, I am not sure though (hehe!). Well, it’s a little less pricey as compared into other brands and models. And I am so inlove the first time I laid my eyes on them. You think it’s a sign?

And the one which I fell the hardest, I believe the color is sooooooooo ME…!

Sadly, DSC-T77 is little bit pricey for me. So I find an alternative that looks equally lovable as the DSC-T77, the DSC-T2.

If only I could afford to buy all of those. Alright, maybe one of those. I really have the eye on DSC-T77 maybe because it is GREEN but whatever. I love how the DSC-T700 looks like but sadly they don’t have the GREEN one.

From this very moment on, I would try my very best not to purchase unnecessary goodies nor treats for myself and would try my very best to save my money for this Camera Fund. I would dare not ask help from anyone, financially of course, and will prove to the world that I could support myself by buying a treat that is a little higher than my actual budget.

Oh God could I do it? Maybe I should just ask my ‘rents to buy me one for my birthday would come very soon. Hahaha

Bueno, así rapidamente comentar que ayer nos pasamos por Akihabara a buscar las dichosas cámaras. Al final después de varias vueltas y cafés con hielo, nos decidimos por comprar esta en un Yodobashi:

Es una Sony DSC-T2, de 8.1 mpx y 4 GB de memoria interna. Así como cosa graciosa, la pantalla digital es táctil. La tontería debe costar unos 350€, pero a nosotros nos salió por 160, incluído el descuento del 5% para gaijines. De hecho se nos pusieron de corbata cuando vimos que la chica del mostrador nos grapaba una especie de justificante de compra al pasaporte, y le plantaba unos sellos… aunque por lo que hemos podido averiguar esto no implica ningún problema en aduanas, ni límite de uso, ni nada. Simplemente es que nos ahorramos los impuestos nipones por no ser de aquí.

Con cámara en mano (que no ciento volando), procedo a enseñaros nuestro flamante apartamento-piso-manshon (マンション, como dicen aquí):

El día de hoy ha sido bastante más parado. A mi me han despertado a las 11:30 para decirme que llevaban estudiando un par de horas ya… Resulta que tenemos un “examen” de acceso en la academia que va a determinar si nos meten en la clase de los retards o en la de los bichos raros, y claro, todos como locos empollando porque el katakana está algo oxidado ya xD

Después de eso hemos salido a cenar, pero nos ha pillado la lluvia al poco de irnos, así que hemos entrado a una tienda de bentos preparados (弁当) y hemos cenado tan felices. Mañana toca irnos a hacer el examen a las 2 del mediodía o por ahí, así que ya contaremos qué tal ha ido.

Parece ser que Sony quiere recuperar esa chispa que hace que todo lo que lleve su marca se venda, y claro, copiando a la marca número 1 en captar clientes sólo por su diseño, pues llevan un buen camino. Hablamos de Apple, como no.

Ahora bien, creo que hay un límite….
