De här har ständigt legat i min spellista de senaste veckorna (eller mer), presenterade i stigande ordning enligt det totala antalet genomlyssningar:

9: This One’s For You med Fläskkvartetten och Robyn (6 lyssningar). Voices of Eden har flera bra gästspel, men den här är min favorit för tillfället.

8: Dschinghis Khan med Dschinghis Khan (8 lyssningar). En schlagerklassiker från -79 som fortfarande är kul. Trots att jag bara förstår något enstaka ord har jag utbyte av de säkert fåniga men fonetiskt lyckade ordvändningarna i texten.

7: 0918.00 med Tarmvred (15 lyssningar). Jag vet inget mer om Tarmvred än att det är någon svensk snubbe, från Göteborg tror jag. (Jag är för lat för att googla just nu.) Egentligen gillar jag IntraventrikulärBrosch bättre (80 lyssningar), men den får vila för tillfället.

6: Getinghonung Pronvencale med Hot Soup (16 lyssningar). Hot Soup vet jag ännu mindre om. Jag köpte deras skiva med Cornelis-tolkningar på måfå och den här är den enda jag fastnat riktigt för, men den är å andra sidan riktigt bra.

5: Fuck You med Lilly Allen (19 lyssningar). Den här hittade jag via Sommar med… någon sportsnubbe tror jag det var. En tennisspelare kanske? Precis som med flera av Nellie McKays låtar gillar jag kontrasten mellan den softa musiken och den riviga texten. Den skulle passa bra till ett bildmontage av Jimmie Åkesson, Göran Hägglund och några andra intoleransmånglare.

4: A Fifth of Beethoven med Walter Murphy & the Big Apple Band (31 lyssningar). En perfekt mix av Beethoven och lite skönt sjuttiotalsgung.

3: Jag sitter i dig med Freddie Wadling (65 lyssningar). En av de tre bästa låtarna från Jag är monstret. (De andra är Disko Kebab och titellåten.) Å andra sidan är det bara Bär ut mig, käre Jesus som jag inte tyckte var en bra låt på den skivan.

2: The Hand That Feeds med Nine Inch Nails (121 lyssningar). Riktigt bra rock helt enkelt. Jag kan inte sitta still när jag hör den.

1: Ghost of Love med David Lynch (140 lyssningar). Från filmen Inland Empire. Trots att texten är väldigt repetitiv lyckas David Lynch (som framför den med hjälp av en Vocoder eller liknande) få varje rad att låta intressant.

A música não é ruim… mas o produtor pegou uma câmera caseira JVC, um VHS e saiu filmando a Ângela Roro Super Saiyajin e o Eduardo Araujo (da Jovem Guarda) pelas ruas da Grande Maça (Nova Iorque porra)… Parece aqueles vídeos de turista brasileiro quando chega dos esteites…

10º – Jan Terri – Losing You

O cantor Tommy Seebach e seu grupo dinamarquês no meio do mato com instrumentos musicais e uns figurinos que são meio hippes meio faroeste tentando imitar roupa de índio, umas dançarinas empolgadas… Os anos 70 eram até interessantes, saca a cara de alegria do Tommy quando as gatinhas entram, dançam e passam a mão nele…

O ator David Hasselhoff filmou os efeitos do uso de drogas pesadas, sem mais…

8º – David Hasselhoff – Hooked on a Feeling

Boy Band já uma coisa estranha, cinco caras que dançam como crianças, dançam ensaiado, lançam modas cretinas e são lideradas geralmente por um pateta… As mais famosas são os New Kids on the Block, o NSYNC e Os garotos da rua de trás…O Brasil teve várias delas, como Dominó, Polegar, Twist e Bros… Agora imagine uma versão russa disso, marcando a música com batidinhas de mão e no maior climão amizade colorida… Diabos, um deles É o Macaulay Culkin!!!

O refrão não é Não engorde, Não engorde, Não engorde… é Novi god (Ano Novo)… O nome do grupo é Стекловата (Steklovata), deveria querer dizer “os cinco orelhudos” (só tem quatro ai mas são cinco no total) mas significa “Lã de vidro”!!!!

7º – Steklovata – Novi God

Caraca… A Índia tinha que ter um representante nessa lista… eu não iria colocar Golimar porque é um remake do Trailler do Michael Jackson… Este tem personalidade… Daler (ਦਲੇਰ ਮਹਿੰਦੀ) é um artista indiano e seu clipe tem efeitos especiais no melhor estilo Vila do Chaves e Power Rangers… Destaque para a dança que imita bonecos de posto de gasolina!

6º – Daler Mehndi – Tunak Tunak Tun

Os japoneses, claro, tinham que ter seu representante…

A produção visual é bem feita, psicodélica e tal… mas um kabuki aboiolado (Bakatonosama) com problemas mentais e quatro garotas bonitas fazendo caretas para parecerem retardadas ou velhas sem dentadura é complicado… O detalhe é que pra entrar nesse grupo cada garota tinha que ter menos de 1,5 m….

5º – Mini Moni e Bakatonosama – Aiin!

Muitos desses mereciam o primeiro lugar…

Se pelo menos cantassem mal, usassem uma montagem mais escrota que essa e uma letra bem mais nada a ver, com cenas to tipo uma loura sentada uma cama com garotas jogando baralho, tentando ser sensual mas com cara de caceteira, um grupo com dancinha ensaiada imitando minhoca e uma sombra tocando violino no meio não acrescentando nada… Isso sim seria bem tosco… Será que alguém seria capaz de filmar uma coisa dessa?

Com tanta BOSTA música produzida aqui tinha que ter um representante brazuca….

4º – Sheila Melo – Água

É Sheila, na Playboy você é excelente…

Esse é muito forte, quase leva o primeiro lugar, o ator australiano Santo Cilauro e sua criação Zladko “ZLAD!” Vladcik com um teclado Casio, visual bizarro, parecendo o Belchior do espaço, falando errado com sotaque do leste europeu (romeno ou moldávio presumo eu) e conotações eróticas “I put my (Ha) port plug in your socket “.. Tem como companheira a Bete Coelho de peruca rosa…

A desgraça do refrão é grudento… Eletronik, Supersonik…

Interessante como ele faz a contagem regressiva a partir do numero cinco…

Direto da Suécia, um dos piores… na verdade quando comecei a montar essa lista esse clipe foi o primeiro que me veio a cabeça… a dancinha de trenzinho, os caras cantando no espaço sideral, os passinhos, gravado em um HOSPÍCIO com toda certeza!…

Só não levou porque os caras são…. digamos, afinados…

2º – Armi e Danny – I Want To Love You Tender

Sabe o ator Leonard Nimoy? O Dr. Spock seu nerd! O nome dele não é Spock!!… Pois é, ele teve uma carreira de cantor também… imaginar um desconhecido em um clipe tosco é ruim, mas um cara famoso por uma das séries mais nerds da porra conhecidas das últimas décadas em um clipe tosco é um bônus… e se ele estiver em um MUITO TOSCO ai é inevitável que não leve o título de pior clipe de música EVER!

Com vocês, Leonard (acho que pra fazer o Spock ele só botava orelhas pontudas) contando a história de Bilbo (sim, aquele do Senhor dos Aneis) e suas dançarinas com alguns problemas…

Juste pour le plaisir la chanson original du groupe allemand formé pour l’eurovision 1979 avec Moskau. Ensuite la version de Berry Kôbô qui est finalement a peu près aussi kitch. en pour finir la version Nolife tournée suite a un paris perdu. Notez quand même la fidélité avec celle des Berryz Kôbô. Et pour finir une reprise d’un groupe de metal Die Apocaliptyschen Reiter mais uniquement en audio et c’est deja beaucoup trop.

So, today I was blasted with quite a bit of music from different groups. When I say different groups, I mean, like, two or three.

Although I will say one thing… Edo no Temari Uta II is pretty much better than anything I’ve heard from Buono! thus far. I fucking love this song way too much for my own good. It’s got that oriental, classic Japanese feel to it while still managing to sound a bit modern. Which is what I guess they were going for, with what the song is about and all.

Also, Maimi’s hot. Much hotter than Miyabi, who I still think is hot. I’m starting to like C-ute a lot more now… Eheheheh…

Now, this song I’m not as big on… I don’t like the whole Latin feel, though I will admit that these girls actually have decent voices. Especially Maimi. This song could grow on me, but if Yuna Ito’s Koi wa Groovyx2 was any precursor to how I’ll treat Latin songs, I don’t think it will.

And may I add… Maimi has hot thighs.

Why, hello there, Miyabi, we were just talking about you! She looks pretty hot in this PV, I must say, but despite my love of certain styles of club music, this song was oddly horrible and annoying to me. I’m not liking Berryz as much as I could be, really… I just don’t think this style really suits them. I’m not going to go avoiding them like the plague or anything, but I don’t think this song’s gonna grow at any time soon.

Oh, god, here we go… This song is pretty catchy and interesting at first, but it gets old. FAST. I could’ve seen myself liking it if it was a bit shorter (as if it wasn’t short already), but this is just making me start to hate Berryz even more than Dakishimete Dakishimete did. I’ll be trying something else from them soon, but I’m not liking how things are looking.

AND ANOTHER ONE FOR C-UTE! I rather like the aggressive backing track this song has, and the vocals are pretty good for… Most of the song. Those “My Darling” and “I Love You” lines annoy the shit out of me, but at least Maimi looks hot here. Again. They’re what keep me from loving this song a LOT more. And may I add…

At 2:48… OH, GOD! WHAT THE DEAR SWEET FUCK IS THAT?! MY EYES ARE MELTING, OH, LORD, IT’S HORRIBLE! She isn’t photogenic in the least, it’s rather sad… No offence to any Kanna fans out there, but that girl is just… Blargh.

Oh, what do you know, there WAS another Berryz song I listened to today… Either way, I’m not a huge fan of the arrangement, and while the vocals are okay… I just can’t sit through the song. As much as I hate to say it, I think Berryz Koubou is turning out to be the first H!P group that I actually hate, within a reasonable doubt. Or whatever the term is.

So what have I learnt from all of this random song listening? Maimi has some hot-ass thighs. Hell, Maimi’s just hot altogether. The highlight of the Hello! Project. I’ve also learnt that C-ute is pretty much shaping up to be my second favorite Hello! Project unit. I’ve also learnt that Berryz aren’t really my cup of tea, unfortunately, but you can’t love them all… We’ll see how things go. I’d say this was my most adventurous day so far, I listened to quite a few new songs. More than I usually would when just starting out with a new artist/unit. Well, when it comes to idols, at least.

Countdown! The Top 100 Hello! Project PVs

So … we’ve been at the halfway point for a while now. My original plan was to do this every year, and that certainly doesn’t look feasible at this point. Though getting through half the countdown in one year is some progress, I guess. The countdown covered only PVs up to and including 2007, so all the fantastic videos from 2008 weren’t included.
