SS501 Kim Hyun Joong talks about the “greed” for strong character role in acting.

He was on KBS Happy Together on 26th November when he revealed, “After Boys Over Flowers, there are many proposals coming in for me to appear in movies and dramas. But I want to try a role of a psycho.”

He continued, “I can also do the role as a dumb person, and try the role as a murderer. Actually my personality is not that of a prince. But I thought I have to keep the balance between the role and my personality during acting.”

He also talks about his ideal type of woman Lee Hyori and her kiss performance with TOP during MKMF last year.

He recalled, “I was thinking why they have to do it on the forehead and then on the lips for the ad lib.” and when asked “Did you change your ideal type of woman after that?”, he answered “no.”

The 2 met during the filming of Sunday Night Family Outing, and he revealed his afterthoughts, “See her features after the makeup was washed off, I thought Noona aged a little from the past.”

Hello. This is the master of the fansite and I will be giving you a long message for the first time. We have gotten lots of questions about A’ST1’s disbandment. For us to be able to answer all of your comments is too much and will be very bothering for some, so we have put up this message.

A’ST1’s disbandment is true. It’s not easy for us to say this as well. As a fan, who would like that word? We have thought and thought by ourselves before we wrote this. While A’ST1 was promoting, we followed them more truthfully then anyone else. We do not think that we are in fantasy when we see them, or that we are in a dream. We faced reality.

Truthfully, we don’t think that this group is number 1. We tell even just a single person about this group to raise their fame. We buy albums and spread them out to people around us, and the friends of those people. We watched people who thought members of this group was a joke. We even tried to keep rumors quiet and correct them if it was false. We don’t care if we name ourselves having a intimate relationship with this band, this proves how much time we spent with the group. We savour these boys and think them as family. We carefully thought about writing this, and we decided it would be best to tell all of you fans. Eunice’s would have more and more questions with this matter as time goes by, so before DSP’s official statement, we decided to release this news early, as the problem would get worse as time goes by.

As a conclusion, we have heard this news from the members themselves. They could’ve told us because they trusted us more than other fans, or because it was time to tell the news, and believed that we could post this news up on the internet and spread it. Because of that reason, we have told this news to everyone. If people think we were careless about releasing this information, we would feel bile. We also know that the current leader, Park Jung Jin had posted something indirect on his minihompy about this matter. But I wonder what more we need to say about this. This isn’t from the members mouths. Do you wan’t to hear that we are one only with 6 members? Or that everything is a rumour and that we don’t need to worry? To be honest, isn’t that just to make fan’s feel better? The thing that would be right for this situation is to support the 6 members no matter what aspect and what situation they show. If the members are planning something new, we would have to cheer them and thank them. With the situation like this, we want to be friendly with fellow fans, cherishing and leaving memories with them. Because of this one message, we don’t want to leave a bad memory with all of you.

This is so heart-breaking. I would have never thought that Tomo would be the one leaving A’st1. Actually i have never thought that any of the members even considered leaving after debuting. OMG…my second favorite member…the funniest guy in A’st1…

If you’re a DSP lover, i’m sure you are all thinking of Kara. It’s sad and good at the same time that A’st1 seem to follow the same path as their sunbaes. I wonder if Tomo will get replaced…maybe, maybe not.

**Satoori is a dialect that are spoken in different parts of Korea. Seoul Korean is considered the standard language while the rest of them are considered as dialect.

Group SS501 member Kim KyuJong talked about an incident arising from his quick-to-come satoori.

Recently Kim KyuJong attended to KBS 2TV ‘Happy Together 3’ filming and said “I almost got into a fight because of satoori”, making the others curious of what happened.

Kim KyuJong spent his student years in Jeollado, he came to a theme park in Seoul for one of his school trip. It was the school trip high season, therefore the theme park is crowded with a lot of other students who came from various places. One student bumped into Kim KyuJong and that student asked Kim KyuJong “Are you okay?”

Kim KyuJong replied in Jeollado satoori “Amshirongdo ahnyeoyo” which means ‘I am fine’, however the Seoul student didn’t know what it meant and mistaken it as a intonation of insult and asked Kim KyuJong “What?”. Kim KyuJong said to that student once again “Amshirongdo ahnyeoyo” and that student became even angrier. The misunderstanding was solved just before the fight broke out and before the situation got worse. Kim KyuJong’s method of resolving this misunderstanding will be revealed in ‘Happy Together 3’ on 26-Nov.

Meanwhile, Kim KyuJong will talk in satoori unknowingly if he is angry. He said the interesting satoori “Ahdda, Dijigae (Ah~ Really?)” making the rest of the guests laugh.

SS501 member Kim Hyun Joong and comedian Lee Hyuk Jae started a competition to imitation designer Andra Kim.

Recently in KBS2 “Happy Together 3″ filming, Kim Hyun Joong and Lee Hyun Jae started a competition to imitation Andrea Kim’s voice, causing everybody in the studio to laugh.

Lee Hyuk Jae was usually the champion for imitating Andrea Kim expression, gesture and voice tone.

For his own pride, he performed voice imitation in “Happy Together 3″ and requested to compete with Kim Hyun Joong.

On the basis of Andre Kim’s expression and voice tone, both of them added in their own performance and causing an uproar of laughter.

Especially when Kim Hyun Joong perfect imitation of Andre Kim’s voice tone and expression, the studio went into another round of laughter.

After the competition, Lee Hyuk Jae admit defeat and praised Kim Hyun Joong’s voice imitation.

I mentioned before how skinny the Kara members are at the moment. Seems like it’s a DSP thing.

Their newly debuted group, Rainbow, is just like that. Those girls are so skinny that they don’t really have a healthy image. I do believe they are healthy, in order to have an idol’s packed schedule, being healthy is a must, thus I do believe they are healthy. But look at the image they’re presenting.

They’re all pretty, but so skinny!

I said before that I didn’t want to say anything about Rainbow til I leaned more about them, but I can’t bring myself to doing so. This has been bothering me for a sometime now.

Their English. Not only Rainbow’s but Kara’s as well.

Gosh, at first I couldn’t even bring myself to listen to a full Kara song cause their English was just horrible.

Pretty Girl is my favorite Kara song, but the English threw me off a lot before I got used to it. Wanna and Mister also have horrible English.

I don’t have a problem with accents. But in DSP’s case it seems like their artist don’t even know basic English and are just pronouncing stuff they have no idea what it means.

If they aren’t the best with English, why put it so much in the songs.

Say, didn’t you get bothered by Rainbow’s

“Hot pleats, skirt. Cherry color lip gloss.”

“Velvet sunglasses.”

“Baby pink tote bad.”

“Skinny [...] Body line.”

And those random English words in the middle of the song. To be honest, I didn’t even know it was English until I saw the lyrics!

Did you understand Everyday or Everybody perhaps? What about Spotlight and Stylish?

It was impossible to understand it!

The only part in English that I actually understood was “Pretty sweety sexy”.

I do admit their “I wanna gossip girl” was really catchy.

I don’t even know who’s who in the group yet.

Props to them for the two girls with short hair that don’t try to look like they’re guys.

SMent totally irritated me with Amber. Like, she’s got so many fangirls already, all saying “I turn bi for Amber” and such things. Nothing wrong with that, Amber is just pissing me off overall -.-

Back to Rainbow, what was with those pictures of them wrapped in a blanket? That was so pushing it!

Going for the male fans is totally normal, but really, what’s with it?

Some folks are asking me from time to time if and when the NastyXTC thingy will ever see the public light. Atm, the short answer still is: I really dunno.
While the original NastyXTC design was mainly a transient EQ sort of thing, I extended it concept wise to become a rather complete “transient workbench” solution in a small but flexible modular effects system. Despite of the amount of work necessary to accomplish this, there are still some essential and fundamental technical concepts not yet really explored by me.
On the other way around, the actual existing design and implementation of NastyXTC was already the blueprint for some other plug-in parts and therefore I rather see it as an unfinished “technology study” (for the moment) but you could spell it “vaporware” as well of course.
However, if this will someday actually show up in a dedicated plug-in release or not remains unclear for still a while.

SS501 Kim Hyun Joong and newcomer talent Jung YoungHwa have been chosen as the new MCs for MBC ‘Sunday Night’.

Kim PD said during a press conference on 23rd November, “Kim HyunJoong and Jung YoungHwa will be for the new corner on ‘Sunday Night’ called ‘Korea Ecosystem Rescue Centre, Hunters’ to be aired on 6th December.”

This will be a corner where celebrity MCs will go out to capture wild boars. The PD added, “Even right now, the MCs are working hard with the qualified professionals capturing the wilde boars in KyeongSan IlRyeong. Every week, the 7 MCs will get training for about 2D1N and go out to hunt for the wild boars. This week it will be IlRyeong, and next week it will be in AhnDong.”

The PD added, “There are about 170 thousand wild boars in our country, the population has increased 4x than before. If the government do not do something to control the population, it can pose as harm to the ecosystem in our country. We want to bring awareness about the ecosystem in our country and also bring down the population of wild boars through this show. The captured wild boars will either be given to nursing homes or given to the less fortunate to be eaten.”

The other MCs on the show are Hwang JungEum, Jung GaEun, Han JiMin and Han HyoJoo etc.

Kim SuJung “Kiss on lips with SS501 Kim HyunJoong is really…”

In ‘2009 Style Icon Awards (SIA)’ held on 11-Nov, child actress who stole (?) the lips of ‘Flower Boys’ Kim HyunJoong, appealed of her injustice.

Kim SuJung explained in an interview on SBS ‘One Night’s TV Entertainment’ on 18-Nov about her kiss on lips with Kim HyunJoong. At that time, Kim HyunJoong won the viewers choice of Best Popular Icon Awards and went up on stage to receive the award and Kim SuJung was the award presenter.

At the moment when Kim HyunJoong was about to say his words of expression on the win of this award, Kim SuJung requested to him “Please give me a kiss” and received a kiss on the cheek with this bold request. After which, she also received a kiss on the lips, making all the female fans jealous of her. At that moment, Kim HyunJoong pointed to his own lips when suddenly being requested for a kiss, and he was unable to hide his embarrassment.

In the interview on that day, Kim SuJung explained the situation “I said I want to kiss him (on the cheek), but Kim HyunJoong oppa misunderstood that I wanted a kiss on the lips and kissed on my lips.” Kim SuJung added “My mother came and scolded ‘Do you know how many fans oppa has?’” and showed a worried look that draws a smile to others.

Popular group SS501, 2PM, Big Bang, 2NE1 and others will participated in a charity concert.

On 22 November (Sunday), 4pm, at Seoul Olympic Stadium, Nong shim group organize a ‘Nong Shim 2009 Love Concert’. 13 groups of artist will be participated in this concert, they include SS501, 2PM, Big Bang, Beast, MBLAQ, Brown Eyed Girls, Rainbow, 2NE1 and others.

Nong Shim concert was started since year 2000 and has already been held for 10 years. Each year the most popular singers will perform to present their love. Nong Shim group spokesperson mentioned: “In these 10 years, through the yearly concert, each concert has around 8000 audiences, it fulfilled our theme to spread the idea of love sharing. Through the participation of popular idol groups, we hope that they could convey the importance of love sharing to the youths and teenagers.”

Five-member boy band SS501 is taking the Taiwanese music industry by storm, sweeping Taiwan’s music charts with their newly released mini-album “Rebirth”.

The album has been ranked No. 1 in album sales on China’s largest online music website, BOOKS.COM for four consecutive weeks and placed first on G-Music Asia Chart and Five Music Asia’s Current Chart for two weeks straight immediately after the album’s release on October 30.

They also topped the RBT Charts of Taiwan’s top three telecommunication companies including Chunhwa Telecom, Far East Tone Net and Taiwan Mobile two weeks in a row.

The boy band, back to the Korea’s music scene after a 19 month break, took their first win on major broadcaster KBS’ music show “Music Bank” last week with their title song “Love Like This” from the album.

They have been one of the most popular K-pop acts in Asia since their debut in 2005 and have had numerous hits singles in Korea and Japan.
