If you’re still reeling from the hoopla of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, you’ll get a second dose of runway drama (behind-the-scenes this time) during tonight’s premiere of Bravo’s Launch My Line, 11/10c. Hosted by Dean and Dan Caten of DSquared, the show pairs wannabe fashion designers with real experts (you can read the rest of the recap here).

It looks incredibly bitchy, and also confusing. The boys introduce the contestants to the types of fabrics they’ll be using…you’d think they’d at least know that, right?

With his new website, designer Roberto Cavalli has just reveiled his first online store, which is transactional in 46 countries across Europe, the US and Asia.

Cavalli partners with global Internet retailing site for leading fashion & design brands Yoox Group, which has established itself amongst the market leaders with the Multi-brand stores yoox.com and thecorner.com as well as with numerous Mono-brand stores all “Powered by YOOX Group.”
Yoox also powers Emporio Armani’s, Diesel’s, Dsquared’s and Miss Sixty’s online stores.

Il y a quelques temps je vous parlais du Fashion Studio sur le site d’H&M, il vous permettait de créer des looks sur des mannequins virtuels.

D’autres sites se mettent à cette tendance dont ce nouveau magazine de mode en ligne, Mode Actually, qui dispose d’un onglet “Fashion Simulateur”. Kézako me direz-vous? Ce simulateur vous permet de composer des tenues ultra fashion et glamour avant de finaliser votre achat en boutique. Le site a fait des choix d’exception avec des marques comme Elie Saab, Pucci, Gucci etc… Votre mannequin virtuel peut donc arborer des tenues de défilés mais aussi des pièces classiques vendues par les partenaires du site. Partenariats prestigieux avec des enseignes comme Colette ou encore Montaigne Market.  Si vous vous sentez l’âme d’une prescriptrice de la mode, vous avez la possibilité de vous créer un profil pour partager vos looks, plutôt sympa!

Rien est à vendre en direct sur le site, il vous permet juste de faire des essais de toutes les tenues dont vous pouvez rêver et après craquer en boutique si vous en avez envie (ou plutôt le budget pour!).

Ik kom erachter dat ze jonger is dan mij! Dat had ik niet verwacht. Had haar niet veel ouder geschat, maar

jonger! Ze is geboren op 30 november 1989 in Georgia. Ze staat onder contract bij Ford Models. Ook heeft

ze dit jaar voor het eerst voor Victoria Secret gelopen. Ik denk dat we nog veel meer van haar gaan horen.

Wow, hoje foi lançado oficialmente, no canal da própria gravadora no YouTube, o clipe de Lady GaGa para o single Bad Romance.

A versão oficial contida no álbum relançado “The Fame Monster“, foi lançada no MySpace oficial da cantora em 21 de Outubro. GaGa explicou que a faixa é uma das que escreveu em 2008 durante uma turnê.

Essas canções foram inspiradas em monstros, e um deles, o Monstro do amor, resultou na música.^“

Sem dúvidas, não só o melhor videoclipe de Gaga, como também o mais bem patrocinado do show business. Mas vindo dela, ícone de moda,  não é nenhuma novidade.

GaGa foi patrocinada no video por grandes grifes mundias, tais como:

STARBUCKS OPENS IN SWEDEN. One of the most buzzed about pieces of news this past week is that Starbucks is (finally) coming to Sweden. For years fashionistas have been craving the world famous coffee chain that gained popularity after celebrity style icons like Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Nicole Richie and Lindsay Lohan were seen with the trademark Starbucks takeaway-cups seemingly glued to their fists. It’s even been seen on the runway as Dsquared accessorized their models with Starbucks cups for their A/W 2009 show.

And while things aren’t going too well for Starbucks on the other side of the pond (around 1000 Starbucks have shut down in the US because the chains popularity has dwindled) the coffee chain has chosen to expand to new countries and open at Arlanda airport right outside Stockholm in the beginning of next year.

While I’ve had the opportunity to get Starbucks during my visits to the US (and while living in Prague) I often opt for other coffee chains because I think Starbucks is way overpriced. And I always remember my uncle joking about Starbucks being like rocket fuel, apparently it’s an excellent laxative. No doubt the secret behind how Hollywood stars stay skinny.

Para o Verão 2010, o que se busca é um jeans de “gente grande”, pensado, elaborado, cheio de técnicas, processos industriais. Um jeans mais especial, mais autêntico…

Estamos na temporada em que a alfaiataria, antes reservada aos ternos bem cortados e de caimento perfeito, é aplicada ao índigo nosso de cada dia, e mostra que, embora a qualidade custe caro, se for verdadeira, estamos dispostos a pagar o preço…

São permitidas diferentes tendências, silhuetas e lavagens. Pode o jeans claro, desbotado, mas pode o jeans bruto também, super escuro, e até mesmo o black jeans.

Vale o jeans tratado, desgastado, relaxado, retalhado, patchwork (Balmain)!! Pode ter efeito de pintura (manchas, borrões, cores mil nas peças), como as de Alexander McQueen, Moschino, Cavalera; pode ser degradê, em azul (Rick Owens) ou em cores fortes (DSquared, Cavalera).

Pode calça curta, pode shorts, pode colete… pode até gravata, um pouco de tudo. Mas tem que cair bem, não adianta achar legal e sair por aí com uma calça curta, que te “encurta” ainda mais… uma jaqueta croped que parece “sumir” com sua cintura… Tudo depende de seu tipo físico, que deve sempre ser respeitado para que sua silhueta esteja equilibrada e harmônica.

Surprisingly, I’m on a lipstick kick lately. My lips are really dry, and for some reason, lipsticks are lately less irritating to my chapped smoocher. I’m a total gloss girl; I never ever wear lipstick, but I’m really into it lately. After the jump, some shades I can’t get enough of.

DSqaured for MAC Nude Rose ($14): This is sold out everywhere! I cannot get my hands on it, and am so frustrated because I am obsessed with it. I fell in love with the lipstick the model in the Style Black promo shots is wearing. A MAC sales rep confirmed with me yesterday that it is in fact Nude Rose. Must have!

Bobbi Brown Creamy Lip Color in Rose Garden ($22): Hydrating and sheer, this goes on smooth and easy and makes my lips feel supersoft. It’s shinier and more sheer than a traditional lipstick, but not at all tacky. Slightly flecked with shimmer, the color looks like your natural lips, but better. It was love at first application.

MAC Please Me ($14): A pretty, demure pink, this is a comparable alternative to MAC’s Angel shade (which is a tad pinker and frostier). It’s a pink tinted with rosy-nude undertones. It’s chicly matte, without sacrificing creaminess. At this price point, you can’t beat it.

Yesterday I was lucky enough to come down with a fever and some kind of virus, which meant I finally got to take a day off early and review the purchases I made from the M.A.C. Dsquared collection (available since Oct. 1st)! Hooray for being sick!

Lip Conditioner in Fuchsia Fix

This was the first product that caught my eye when I first saw the DSquared collection, and I can’t say I’m disappointed. In fact, I pretty much love it!

Fuchsia Fix isn’t as bright as I expected, but honestly I’m okay with that. It gives lips a nice flushed pink color and a good amount of shine, and moisturizes at the same time. There’s no sticky feeling like with some glosses – another plus. I could wear it every day! Well, scratch that, I have been wearing it every day! One quick thing – it doesn’t last super long – you’ll need to reapply at least a few times throughout the day, especially after eating/drinking. But that’s not a huge problem, since it’s super easy to apply, just like any tinted lip balm – no mirror required!

Greasepaint Stick

To be honest, I bought my first greasepaint stick more or less on a whim – I wasn’t really sure what it did, or even what it was. Luckily, I managed to figure it out, ha!

Lined with Greasepaint Stick (mascara's a crazy mix of a bunch of different kinds, it took me forever to un-glob it ;P)

In case you’re wondering about the color – it’s technically black, but there’s definitely some purple in there, and some very pretty sparklies It’s *super* smudgeable right after you apply it, but once you’ve let it set for a little while, it won’t budge. My eyelids are somewhat oily, but it didn’t fade through the day.

If you’re really into heavy liner, this is the stuff for you. If you’re really into thin, precise lines… not so much. It does come with a nifty little sharpener built in the top, which keeps lines from getting too thick or messy.

Dolce & Gabbana

Em um primeiro momento do desfile, mistura de jeans, alfaiataria e tecidos leves, tendo rendas e transparências. Na modelagem, cintura marcada e ombros levemente arredondados. No segundo momento, uma fusão de estampas: onças e manchados. A renda aparece novamente, aplicada de maneira localizada nas peças, como blusas e mini-saias. Nos acessórios, maxi colares, bolsas e sapatos pretos.

Etro

O desfile da Etro misturou modernidade com um clima 70’s. Muita alfaiataria, em peças de tecidos leves, como camisas com transparêcias, blazers e calças. Os vestidos esvoaçantes receberam estampas e babados. A cintura alta, usada com tops, deixa pedaço da barriga à mostra. Para terminar, caftãs com abertura frontal, usados como cobertura dos looks.

Fendi

Com looks de cintura marcada por bermudinhas e saias de cintura alta, a coleção mostrou peças bem femininas, trazendo transparência em algumas combinações. Na cartela de cores, uma mistura de tons nude, preto, pastéis e coral. Destaque para os acessórios, como as sandálias de amarrações em tiras de tecido transparente e detalhes de metal, em bolsas, cintos e pulseiras.

Marni

Muita sobreposição, com cardigãs compridos, coletes, blusas e bermudas. As peças são mais descontraídas e soltas do corpo, em comparação ao que outras marcas vêm mostrando. Porém toda essa mistura dá certo, e nas cores, tons terrosos e cinzentos e algumas estampas bem coloridas. Nos pés, sandálias com meias, e nos acessórios, maxi brincos e muitas pulseiras. Na cabeça, bandanas.

Missoni

Nas peças, vestidos, mini blusas, saias e casaquinhos. Tudo em tons pastéis e acizentados, misturados ao azul e o rosa. Nos acessórios, tramas e fios, aplicados em bolsas e sapatos.

Salvatore Ferragamo

As peças vestem mulheres. Saias godês ou mais ajustadas, são usadas junto a camisas ou blusas com transparência. Preto, branco, amarelo, roxo e vermelho.

Trussardi

Com uma coleção baseada em looks no estilo it girls, a Trussardi trouze peças modernas, como calça cenoura, ombros marcados e vestido jeans. Nos pés, sandálias abotinadas.

Versus

Os micro comprimentos foram unânimes. Nos vestidos, detalhes de franzido e busto marcado, ou então detalhes de recortes localizados. Nos tecidos, uma mistura de leves com outros mais estruturados ou com brilho.

Dsquared

A marca que priorizava o jeans, desta vez surgiu com umas peças um tanto quanto inusutadas. O vinil, por exemplo, apareceu em cores fluo, em vestidos e mini saias. Moletons, padronagens xadrez e biquinis também tiveram sua vez, ou seja, mistura total!
