Dass ich jemals einen Blog erstellen würde, in welchem es um das Thema “YuGiOh!” geht, hätte ich in meinen kühnsten Träumen nicht erwartet. Dennoch gehörte ich ebenfalls zu denjenigen, die ihre Karriere gleich zu Beginn des Hypes mit einem “Kaiba-Starterdeck” starteten. Ich spielte es eine Weile mit einem Kumpel in Pausen (damals waren wir ca. 12-13 Jahre alt), der sich ein “Yugi-Deck” gekauft hatte und brachte meinem kleinen Bruder das Spielen mittels eines “geteilten” Decks bei (ich muss leider zugeben, dass ich nicht allzu viel Geld zur Verfügung hatte.) Das was mich an YuGiOh so sehr reizte im Gegensatz zu “Pokemon” was ich früher gezockt hatte, war dass es vielerlei Möglichkeiten gab, den Gegner auch in seinem gegnerischen Zug zu beeinflussen, was für mich damals total neu war.

Nur ein halbes Jahr später, wurde ich durch ein paar Klassenkameraden auf “Magic” aufmerksam gemacht und ich fand es durch die “Mana-Spielmechanik” um einiges “fairer” und es war nicht so stark vom Glück abhängig wie “YuGiOh!” “Magic” herrschte in unserer Schule vor und es wurde von vielen gespielt. Die “magische Ära” wie ich sie in Erinnerung habe, dauerte ca. 1-2 Jahre, dann flaute es allmählich ab, bis ich zu den letzten Magicspielern gehörte.

Eines Tages kam dann “Duel Masters” raus, ein Kartenspiel, welches das Spielprinzip von “Magic” aufgriff und auf zahlreiche komplexe Sachverhalte wie z.B. Spontanzauber verzichtete. Auch das Schildsystem war total neu. Man hatte nun statt der Lebenspunkte, 5 Schilde die von Kreaturen durchbrochen werden mussten und dem Angegriffenen einen Vorteil gewährten. So musste man überlegen, ob man angreifen sollte oder nicht, was dem ganzen eine total neue taktische Komponente gewährte.

“Duel Masters” spielte ich wie verrückt, da ich es als Neuanfang sah, im Gegensatz zu “Magic”, bei dem man gegen die “alten Hasen” der Szene keinerlei Chancen hatte, da es das Spiel schon so lange gibt, wie es mich gibt. Nichtsdestotrotz, schien das Spiel nicht so sehr Anklang hierzulande zu finden, wie es zum Beispiel in Japan der Fall ist. Ab dem 13. Erweiterungsset wurde der Vertrieb von Duel Masters im westlichen Raum eingestellt und ich kehrte Sammelkartenspielen vorerst den Rücken zu.

Die Zeit verging und ich bestand erfolgreich mein Abi. Während meiner Abwesenheit in der Welt der Sammelkartenspiele, hatte sich “YuGiOh!” als Nummer 1 unter den Sammelkartenspielen neben Magic im deutschsprachigen Raum etabliert. Auch ein sehr guter Freund von mir spielte “YuGiOh!” schon seit einiger Zeit auf Profiniveau, also dachte ich mir, dass ich wieder in die Szene einsteige.

Gesagt, getan! Ich baute mir ein halbwegs gutes Deck zusammen (ein Alien-Deck) und war wieder im Spiel. Mit der Zeit merkte ich, dass “Yugioh” abseits des Manasystems, sein eigenes System aus Kartenvorteil, Spielgeschwindigkeit, etc. entwickelt hatte und ich gab dem Ganzen noch eine Chance. Innerhalb eines Monat studierte ich sämtliche Karten, die es gab (www.ccgdb.com) und sah mir die zugehörigen Kombos an (www.yugioh.wikia.com). Zudem spiele ich auch wieder aktiv auf Turnieren mit.

Ich dachte mir, es wäre ganz gut dieses Wissen festzuhalten. Das ist der Grund warum ich den Blog erstellt habe.

Das Duel Masters Trading Card Game, ist mit eines der von mir favorisierten TCGs.
Wie ihr hoffentlich wisst, wurde schon vor mehr als 3 Jahren die Produktion von deutschen und englischen Karten eingestellt. ABER in Japan gehört dieses TCG immer noch zu den beliebtesten und ist in den TOP 4 der Sammelkartenspiele. Alle ca. 2,5 Monate erscheint eine neue Boosterserie in Japan von Duel Masters. Deutsche- sowie englischsprachige Communitys bestellen neue Karten aus Japan und spielen sie wie gewohnt.
Es wird ebenso für die Übersetzungen gesorgt. Die bekannteste deutschsprachige Community, ist das Duel Masters Europe Center ( forumprofi4.de/forum16800 ). Das Europe Center fusioniert Anfang 2010 mit dem Acashic forum aus Thailand.
Somit wird es viel viel leichter auch an neue Karten heranzukommen. Die Communitys wachsen Tag täglich und immer wieder alte Sieler, die Duel Masters aufgeben mussten,finden wieder zurück.

Hello!

So… half year is gone… mmm funny, i thought that it was going to last longer than this, the only thing that i know for sure it’s that until now, this year was a tough one, at least for me, but i`m not here to talk about that.

Shoot, i`m very tired, this is the first time that i write a complete dialogue sequence, but it`s not that easy, but it got along quite good, well you see, the other day, meanwhile i was downloading some interesting stuff, i started the whole “practice” project, it took all my strenght and my mind, i couldnt even play Pokemon Ranger, sadly, i wont be able to make that project public, as i said, it`s just an experiment, and it’s not worth it to make it public, it will only be called “practice” project, and i wont give further info about it, the fact is, that i didnt finish yet, most of the script is done, but there some things that i must fix, if everything goes well, i believe that i`ll start the true projects, i`ve got some good ideas that i want to give a try, so, until then i must work a little more, it`s a lot of work for a single person, so gotta be patient. As you`ll understand, i cant update the other roads yet, i must finish the “practice” project in order to move on, but i guess it wont take to much time more.

A great song without doubt! Wonder why they always cut the great Jap songs when they dub the anime, and then they replace it with some odd tunes… But, thanks to the fans, we are all able to enjoy the original music and some other things from Japan!

Talking about good things from Japan, i don’t how, i just got hooked again with Duel Masters, yes it`s truth i like the series, and i was just wandering around the net, and i found that Duel Masters had a movie, and i said, shoot how is that no one told me before?, well the fact is that the movie is in japanesse, just as the movie of Ultimate Muscle, another good anime that i cant watch the movie cause i dont speak japanesse, and no group has subbed anyone of those, so i`m in the shadows, both movies are up at youtube, btw thank you uploaders!, but as i said, they arent subbed…. hope that some day one fansub team take the job…

Talking about Duel Masters, i didnt know that there was manga about it, but it`s true, and it looks rather cool, the trouble is that the manga is not scanned (it seems, i havent made my special search yet) so im dissapointed once again, and there is more, i was just checking and i found that there were also a Duel Masters Game for the Ps2…. darn it, where was i? oh well, the good thing about this one is that it was lereased in english, so in my next shipment this game will be for sure, the only matter now is money…

Talking about duels, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5d`s season 2 just finished, i`ve got no idea how the hell did Yusei defeated Godwin`s Earthbound Inmortal Wiracocha Rasqa, and i looks like i wont find it out for a while, i cant watch it on the net, cause i dont want to spoil myself, i only saw yugioh 5d’s up to episode 31, this wednesday will air episode 65….. shoot….

At least my copy of SMT: Devil Survivor arrived well, but i havent tried it out yet…. oh that reminds me, tomorrow comes up Harvest Moon: Frantic Farming!

Oh well, it`s getting late, i must work in the project, at least a little, today i`ve been out almos all day until now, so i`d better get working, so i believe that the next post will be on next month, i`ll see if i can find something interesting until then…

I use to dream having this way back in high school, now I don’t have to dream anymore I got it on my desktop and downloaded two of my very favorite card games. Yu-gi-Oh and Duel Masters. You can click the image below and start downloading. Take note this two games are hard to find, It took me a day or two to find them but you can download it for free. The thing is you have to be a forum member before you can do that and you have to gain some DPs(Download Points) in order to download more. So what I did is I created two accounts and registered to that site because they provided 1 DP for each sign up, easy isn’t it? XD

Cuando todo parecía indicar que Duel Masters desaparecería de la revista mensual Corocoro con el final de su más reciente saga (Duel Masters FE), la editorial Shogakukan ha confirmado que para el siguiente número de la revista kodomo que saldrá a la venta el día 14 de Junio comenzará la siguiente saga de esta obra de Shigenobu Matsumoto y Kôichirô Maki que recibirá el título de Duel Masters SX.

Duel Masters FE es un manga de Shigenobu Matsumoto y Kôichirô Maki que lleva publicándose desde el año 2005 y probablemente conste de un total de 11 o 12 tomos. Años atrás ya fue publicada la serie original titulada Duel Masters que abarcó un total de 17 volúmenes.
