Eyes: Fill in any sparse areas on your eyebrows, keeping the front of it darker than the tail (that’s how Kate has her eyebrows done). Then make sure your prime your eyelids and lower lash line to make your shadows last all day. Take a white eyeliner pencil and smudge this on your brow bone and the inner corner of your eyes; this will act as a base for your highlighter color. Take a pearly off-white creme eyeshadow and apply this over the white pencil from before. Use a warm-toned matte taupe/brown color and concentrate this on the crease on your eye. Slowly start blending this upwards towards the highlighter color and blend the two together. Then take a rounded smudging brush, and picking up a dark ashy-brown shadow, apply this on your outer-V. Use a fluffy blending brush, with a bit of the lighter brown eyeshadow, and blend blend blend so there’s a smooth transition between the colors. Take a shimmery peach color and apply this on the inner half of your lid, staying under your crease. Take the white eyeliner pencil again and rim your waterline. Then use a black eyeliner pencil and line as close to your lashes as possible, but make sure you don’t touch your lower waterline with the black pencil (as Kate always does!) Gently smudge a black eyeshadow over the black liner to prevent smudging and also to smoke the liner out a little bit. This is option but you can apply natural looking false lashes. Curl your lashes and apply mascara.

Face: Apply a water-proof foundation, and make sure there is no SPF in it since that reflects light in photos (it will make your face look really white!). Concealer any blemishes, redness and your under eye circles. Take a concealer that’s a shade or two lighter than your skin tone, or an illuminater, and create a triangle between the bottom of your eyes and the side of your nose; make sure to stop above the apples of your cheeks and at the outer corner of your eye. (If you’re confused just check out the Youtube tutorial!) Blend this out really well into the rest of your skin. This will brighten up your whole face and diminish your dark circles further. Many celebrities do this trick, especially Kim Kardashian. Set the makeup with a face powder, and apply a rosy pink blush just on the apples of your cheeks.

Lips: Kate had a very natural pink lip so line and fill in your lips with a nude lip liner. Apply a pink lipstick that’s about the same color of your natural lips. Use a lip brush to smooth out any creases and create a more defined edge. Blot the lipstick to make it last longer. Apply a bubblegum pink gloss.
