Want an innovative gadget that’s easy on the eyes, as well as practical for your everyday needs? The miShare is the gizmo your looking for! The biggest issue i see with iPods that people have is that unless you have a masters in computer hacking it’s near damn impossible to share your beats with your bumping crew. That is of course until now! Say your friend is flaunting a new album that you really want but can’t be bothered to download, just pry his iPod out of his hands, connect it to yours through the miShare, press the button and have away with his music. It’s like swapping Pokemon cards, but you have nothing to loose, everything to give and don’t look like a dweeb. Ah, however there is one downside (too good to be true, i knew it!)-the unit doesn’t work with iPhone or iPod touch, BUT there will be a firmware update coming up soon! (ta-da! Sorry, what was that? I was distracted because my favorite narrator was  hypnotically describing this epic sounding app. Oh, what is the Biophilia app you ask?  It’s an innovative multimedia exploration of music, nature and technology by the musician Björk. She basically got together with “artists, designers, scientists, instrument makers, writers and software developers to create an extraordinary multimedia exploration of the universe and its physical forces, processes and structures – of which music is a part. Each in-app experience is inspired by and explores the relationships between musical structures and natural phenomena, from the atomic to the cosmic. You can use Biophilia to make and learn about music, to find out about natural phenomena, or to just enjoy Björk’s music.” I looked at the reviews and they’re all high, not one low review, not even a troll rater. Wow. If you have a iPhone or an iPad I’d jump on this and it’s only 1.99, the price of a Coke for each app+song. I hear some of you saying, well what if i don’t like this bojerky music, then what? You really don’t have too, the interface for the entire thing is an experience to behold, the intro alone is worth it.

Sweet mother of god! This amazing piece was made with over 100,000 toothpicks and took Scott over the course of 35 years to complete it’s final design! It depicts San Francisco and tours you around different part’s of the city through ‘ball runs’. I’m glad people can do things i have no time/talent to do, makes this world that much more interesting. This drawing machine above was the brain child of inventor/designer/craftsman Sandy Noble. He calls this design a Polargraph which is nothing more than a pen attached to a string that’s moved by two motors that are placed at parallel ends on the top of the work to be draw. Mr gravity and some nifty software assist the pen’s arched back-and-forth movement across the canvas, which results in beautifully textured drawings. When you’re dealing with the overly crowded iPod/iPhone case market the difference between a successful product and a fail one is it’s ability to stand out from the crowd. These cases are literally available everywhere in almost an infinite variety of designs and colors, but somehow this fantastically retro Cassette Cover jumps out like a colored pencil in a HB deck.  To clarify things, the design itself isn’t that original but the execution is a nail on the head. Since the conception of the iPhone camera, it has aspired to be what it could never quite be: a DSLR! Yeah, there have been plenty of apps that have pushed the phone forward with simulated focusing F-X and faux filters but it never became what it wanted to be. Just like Pinocchio wanting to be a real boy. Well faux no more my friends, the iPhones wishes have been granted, (Jiminy Cricket didn’t help with this one) with the SLR mount you get photos that soar far above everyone’s dodgy phone photo’s. The adapter attachment for the phone lets you mount your Nikon SLR or Canon EOS lenses to your iPhone 4, giving you bloody powerful depth of field and manual focus, word! Nike has just released for mankind’s foot wear consumption, one of the most iconic shoes ever! With a limited 1500 pairs, Marty Mcfly’s fresh kicks can be yours, yes yours! Only for a measly $10,000-35,000 dollars, i mean who needs a house when you can get these shoes, seriously.  The shoes are being auctioned on Ebay so you better hurry, they’re being sold fast. This is how Corning envisions the future; a bright lovely world where technology works with you and doesn’t give you a billion headaches, oh and everything is made from glass. Now, i have an Iphone and i can say that the screen gets pretty smudgy and I’ve broken cups and mirrors before (i know, i have bad luck) so realistically Corning’s world would be covered in finger prints and shards of glass! Still a very cool concept for a friendlier world.

In this experiment sunlight and sand are used as raw energy and material to produce glass objects using a 3D printing process, that combines natural energy and material with high-tech production technology.

As a old school Mario fan i flipped out when i saw this awesome invention! Even better, they explain how to build it through a couple instructional videos on their site.
