Langsam wird konkreter, was man sich bei Springer unter geldwertem Content vorstellt: Die Welt am Sonntag gibt’s neu als E-Mag. Zitat Thomas Knuewer: “Ein großer Schritt für Springer, ein kleiner für den Rest der Welt.” Persönliches Urteil: Der gratis verfügbare Probeartikel ist (technisch) hübsch animiert, der Text gut lesbar, aber ausser als Screenshot nicht kopierbar. Da er als Bild wiedergegeben wird, kann er auch von keiner Suchmaschine erfasst werden. Aber das will man bei Springer ja auch gar nicht. Ähnliche (gescheiterte) Versuche gab es vor ca. fünf Jahren, zum Beispiel fmagazine.com.
