As avitaminoses ou hipovitaminoses são uma família de doenças causadas pela falta ou deficiência de vitaminas no organismo e é classificada segundo a vitamina em falta, embora algumas vezes tenha nome próprio. Geralmente devem-se a uma alimentação incompleta, mas podem também surgir na sequência de outros problemas de saúde. As quantidades insuficientes de vitamina D, podendo ser devido à falta de exposição solar, provoca o raquitismo – atraso do desenvolvimento dos ossos nas crianças e o aumento da fragilidade dos mesmo nos adultos.

Hipervitaminose, ou envenenamento por vitamina, refere-se à condição de armazenamento de altos níveis de vitaminas, que podem levar a sintomas tóxicos. BMW, 7 Serisi’nin küçük kardeşi 5 Serisi’nin yeni versiyonunu dün tüm dünyaya tanıttı.

Dış tasarımı selefine göre daha kaslı olan yeni BMW 5 Serisi, markanın genlerine geri dönüşü simgeliyor. Yeni BMW 5 Serisi F10 ismi verilen ve 5 Serisi GT versiyonunda da kullanılan yepyeni bir platform üzerine inşa edilmiş. Yeni 7 Serisi’de bu platformu kullanıyor. Yenilenirken BMW 5 Serisi’nin boyutları da artmış. Uzunluk 58 mm artarak 4899 mm’ye ulaşmış. Aks aralığındaysa 2968 mm’lik uzunluk selefine göre 80 mm artış anlamına geliyor. Bu aks aralığıyla yeni BMW 5 Serisi sınıfının en üstünde bulunuyor. Ayrıca artan aks mesafesi arkada oturanların eski modele göre 13 mm daha fazla diz mesafesine sahip olduğu anlamına geliyor. Otomobilde sunulan 520 litrelik bagaj istenildiğinde arka koltukların 40:20:40 oranından üç parçalı yatırılmasıyla genişletilebiliyor.
Yeni BMW 5 Serisi’nin ön aksında çift lades formlu bağlantılar kullanılırken arkada çok noktadan bağlı aks yapısı tercih edilmiş. Otomobilde sunulan sistemler sayesinde süspansiyonun sertliği Normal, Comfort, Sport ve Sport + ismindeki dört farklı moda alınabiliyor. Bu sistemler süspansiyonun haricinde direksiyonun ve gaz pedalının tepkilerini, vites değiştirme karakterini, stabilite kontrol sisteminin müdahale derecesini de değiştiriyor.

Tüm yeni BMW 5 Serisi modellerlinde Fren Enerji Geri Dönüşüm sistemi bulunacak. Bu fren anında otomobilde bulunan pillerin şarj edilmesini sağlayacak. Lansmanla birlikte 2011 model BMW 5 Serisi Avrupa’da dört benzinli, üç dizel motorla satılacak. Dizel motorlar 520d 2.0 litre 184 HP,  525d 3.0 litre 204 HP, 530d 3.0 litre 245 HP olarak sıralanıyor. Benzinli modellerse 523i atmosferik 3.0 litre 204 HP,  528i 3.0 litre 258 HP, 535i turbolu 3.0 litre 306 HP ve 550i çift turbolu 4.4 litre 407 HP’lik versiyonlardan oluşuyor.

Sekiz kademeli otomatik şanzıman sadece 550i modelinde standart olarak sunulacak. Altı kademeli manuel şanzımanla donatılan diğer modellerdeyse bu sekiz kademeli otomatik şanzıman opsiyon listesinde yer alacak.
Otomobilin teknolojik donanımları arasında yaya tespitli gece görüşü, head up display, şerit uyarı sistemi, kör nokta uyarı sistemi, yan aynalarda park kameraları, opsiyonel geri görüş kamerası bulunacak. Ayrıca otomobilde dördüncü nesil iDrive sistemi de kullanılacak. Bazı versiyonlarda 7 inçlik bir ekran üzerinden bu sistem kontrol edilebilirken, opsiyonel olarak 10.2 inçlik ekran da satın alınabiliyor.
Yeni BMW 5 Serisi 2011 model olarak Mart 2010′dan itibaren Avrupa pazarlarındaki yerini alacak. Türkiye’ye geliş tarihiyse henüz açıklanmıyor.

After watching a snippet of Sissi in class, I went home to see the rest of the film on YouTube. It is the first of a classic trilogy of romantic films about the iconic Empress Elisabeth of Austria, also known as Sissi.

To my horror, the videos stop at 6/10! Grahhhh…

Nobody else has uploaded the original German version, so I had to make do with the version that’s dubbed in French (although I hate watching dubbed movies). Interestingly, while both versions do not come with subtitles, I could understand the German version better. Or maybe my brain just refused to process French dialogues delivered by a German-speaking cast?

In any case, the 1955 film is such a gem. The stunning Austrian landscape and Romy Schneider’s classical beauty blew me away. The film also brought back fond memories of Schloss Schönbrunn, the Habsburg’s summer residence in Vienna.

Time to hunt for the other 2 parts of the trilogy!

One of POP PROPHECY’s favorite shows on E! Chelsea Lately will be filming four episodes in Australia. We saw a quick preview on TV, and it looks hilarious!

Today is turning out to be a fantastic day.  Disney never gives me Sunday’s off but this week they actually did so today I am doing nothing but watching football all day.  And I threw a little laundry in there too.   They gave me the begning of this week off becuse they are getting ready to work us CP’s (aka college program kids) for the thanksgiving weekend.   One things I learned working here is that all the full time and part time staff get holiday pay but the college kids and international kids don’t so they love to schedule us instead of them.

I’ve also learned that if you want to visit Disney, the first few weeks in November is the best time come.  There is virtually no wait for all the rides  because it is right before the holidays.  I’ve been working at a quick service restaurant  inside Epcot the past few weeks and we will be busy for a couple hours in the middle of the day and that’s it.  Gotta love only having to wait for Rockin’ Roller Coaster for 5 minutes!

I finally get to go back to Wide World of Sports this weekend to work the Old Spice Classic which is a college basketball tournament and I’m pumped! I’ve missed being around college hoops so this will be my taste of it! Some of the schools playing are Michigan, Florida State, Xavier, Marquette and Alabam and Michigan is ranked 15th so it should be some interesting basketball!  If only Purdue was playing  so I could see my Boilers!

I’ll be sure to keep everyone posted on the results of the tournament.  Some of the games are actually going to be televised on EPSN so I am hoping I can talk to some of the guys that work for them.  I would love to be able to free lance the live events that go on around Disney World.

Very much looking forward to tonight but I can’t decide what to watch!  There is the MLS Cup, the American Music Awards, Da Bears, and Amazing Race! I think I’ll have to set a few TV’s side by side, one for sports, and one for the AMA’s.

Thats all for now, I have to go tend to my farm! I can’t believe I am actually addicted to farmville…be my friend and help my farm!

Last night was the wrap party for the make-over I was on. It was held at a bar in Santa Monica called The Daily Pint. I was really excited to go to the party because 1.) I’ve never been to a wrap party 2.) I couldn’t wait to see all the familiar faces I had spent all those hours with again! and 3.) they finished filming their last girl yesterday so it was a big celebration for everyone involved.

I got to see the beautiful  *** again, host of the make-over show, and also got to meet her adorable husband. I have a great photo of them, but can’t post it here (yet!). I also noticed when I walked into the bar, that a few people were staring at me as if they knew me. I didn’t think anything of it, but I met them as the night went on and found out that they’re editing my tape this week! So they know all about me. It was kinda weird meeting strangers who already knew so much about me. Here are some photos I can reveal with some of the friendly faces I got to share my time with during that life-transforming week:
