I attended the third annual The UnFancy Food Show this Sunday in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It’s a play off of the Fancy Food Show at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Manhattan. The space outside of The East River Bar was a little cramped, but I thoroughly enjoyed the food selection.

One of my favorites and pictured below is Mama O’s Premium Kimchee. They are a mother and son team that makes fabulous kimchee. Who knew Kimchee could taste so good? And this is coming from someone who lived in South Korea… I had to take a tub of kimchee salsa home to share!

Their kimchee retails in three stores thus far: Marlow and Daughters in Williamsburg, Foragers Market in Dumbo, and Jeffrey’s Meat Market in Essex Market- LES.

Another one of my favorites was Fine & Raw Chocolate. I tried their decadent ice cream made with no dairy, sugar or additives. They use an raw cacao and sweeten with an organic blue agave nectar. Their chocolate bonbons are also to die for! They must be, as I just tried to order a few two-piece bonbon sets online and they were sold out.
