whoops!!! Meant to post this a while back. but I figure someone out there may want to know this…

Looks like a new colorway for the Air Max 2009+ is coming and it looks like it will be one of the hotter ones too. I love my current Air Max 2009+ and even though I have not run in them as much as I was supposed to, I have to say that they are very comfortable. Probably the most comfortable sneaker my feet have ever been in (it even passes the Reebok DMX 10 of which was the most comfortable sneaker I ever wore… I think those were the only Reeboks that I bought 2 different colorways of) and I look forward to getting another pair .

But which colorway?

There are other sneakers from Nike in the look book including the Lunalite (of which I just HAVE to try) and those free foot sneaker sole designs.

Amy Foster

I have no idea why the book is named Amy Foster, when the book carries a description not of her, but of another person who became her husband in the later part of the story. I suppose, I’ll never get the gist of these philosophical stories, if there was any involved in this one.

The story begins with someone visiting an old doctor in the countryside and he relates to him the sad story of Amy Foster. The story has a social castaway, a ship-wrecked man who was taken up by the Swaffers and offered food, clothing and a roof over his head. The stranger soon learns to read, write and speak in the common dialect and then falls in love with Amy Foster and decided to marry him.

She does marry him, and she bears his child but then after that I lose the idea of the story because she starts hating him for talking to the child in his own tongue and keeps thinking that he wants to harm the child and then finally abandons him. That about sums up the story which doesn’t look like much to me.

One of my favorite tracks “Heavy Cross” calls to mind Stevie Nicks and is a great track to get angry to. Raw and wonderful.

i really wish i had been documenting this better. I mean, this is the first place that Mick and I are living in, just the two of us. I imagine there will be many more to come, but this is the first. I have been just awful at documenting the transition…and i wish i had been better. The empty place, the uhaul, the boxes, the clutter, the finished product…would have made a cool sequence of shots. A good story. Ill use the excuse that I packed my camera. Its a lie, but im going to go with that.

Mick took some mobile uploads, so I will share those…for you people who cant wait to see the finished product. Im really excited about this place. Guestroom/office has both of our desks. I bought an Expedit desk from Ikea, and its all crafty and shit. Mick’s desk is filled with computer stuff and toys. The room is both of us…with a couch in the middle. The couch is a futon…which means we can have guests!!

Here we go so far! More to come for sure…especially when the place is done!
